What a way to wake up...in November.
"Cara mia I love you but it's the morning and its November" Wednesday groaned as they turned to look at their girlfriend. "WENDYYYY!" Enid shouted bouncing over to Wednesday. "Again, its the morning and it's November, why is there Christmas music?" Wednesday asked as they rolled onto their side as Enid kneels down. "I love Christmas, it's so happy you know?" Enid mumbled as she flicked down to look at Wednesday's lips before looking in her eyes. "Can I kiss you?" Enid asked. "Yes thank you for asking love" Wednesday smiled slightly and Enid grinned before kissing Wednesday softly as Wednesday cupped Enid's cheek. "Can I please go back to sleep now as it's the morning and I'm still recovering from many injuries" Wednesdays says looking up to Enid's eyes again. "Of course, can we talk about decorations when you wake up?" Enid asked. Wednesday just nodded and closed their eyes and fell back asleep.
Enid connected her Bluetooth headphones to her phone instead of having the music playing aloud. A few hours later Wednesday woke up and heard the noise of multiple people giggling. They sat straight up and looked over to see Yoko, Bianca, Enid, Ajax, Xavier, Divina and Eugene. "Oh god" Wednesday groaned as she let themselves fall back against the bed. "Woke up from your cat nap?" Bianca mused. "Ha ha" Wednesday said as she sat up. "How come you're sleeping so much?" Ajax asked. "Dude they got multiple stab wounds and shot with an arrow and a gun what did you expect?" Yoko questioned. Wednesday hummed in agreement and walked over to the bed and sat next to Enid as Enid smiled at her. "Wow, willingly socialising? What has Enid done to you?" Xavier joked. "Shut your mouth" Wednesday glared at Xavier.
The group continued to hang out for a while longer before realising they needed to go back to their own dorms to go to sleep. "Sooooo, what about decorations?" Enid asked. "I have an idea to compromise over the clashing colours" Wednesday said. "Go ahead" "I'll buy grey, black, gold and silver decorations for my side as well as half of the tree as you freely use any colours you want" Wednesday proposed. "Sure, can we go get them together tomorrow?" Enid asked. "Of course" Wednesday said. "Can the group come?" Enid asked. "Yes they can come" Wednesday sighed. Enid grinned and messaged the chat they created causing Wednesday's phone to go off as well but she ignored it as she went back to her own bed. "Goodnight Enid" "No cuddles?" Enid asked. "No, my injuries prevent me from being able to cuddle you" Wednesday explained. "Hmm, okay goodnight love" Enid said as she got in her own bed. Nothing else was said as they both went to sleep.
Wednesday woke up to see her girlfriend still asleep, she smiled and walked over and kissed her on the forehead before going into the bathroom. She took off her top as Enid knocked on the door. "Yes Enid?" Wednesday asked. "Want some help taking the bandages off?" Enid asked. Wednesday considered it for a second before opening the door. Enid smiled as a greeting before helping take off all the bandages. "Do you mind looking for more as I have my shower?" Wednesday asked as she turned so her back was to Enid and she started to take out her hair ties. "Sure" Enid said as she also turned her back to Wednesday to give her privacy. "Thank you" Wednesday said before fully undressing and getting in the shower, pulling the curtain in the way so Enid couldn't see her. "Hmmm, there aren't any left. I'll have to go get some from Yoko and Bianca" Enid said as Wednesday heard some shuffling. "Be back soon" Enid said relatively loudly before leaving.
Enid made sure to lock the door after her again before walking to Yoko's room. She knocked one before opening the door and shouting "Oh bestie!" Causing Yoko and Bianca to look up as Estrella woke up suddenly. "Oops sorry Estrella" Enid apologised. "Your good" Estrella said stretching "I need to get up anyway, go bother Rosalyn" Estrella said as they picked up their phone to message their partner. "Anyways, what do you need Enid?" Yoko asked setting her book down. "Oh yea right, we ran out of bandages for Wednesday" Enid explained. "Ah, if we have any left they're in the bottom draw in the bathroom" Yoko said pointing to the door. "Thanks!" Enid shouted slightly and went to grab them. Yoko was incredibly wrong and they had plenty of bandages so Enid just took one roll and left the other for Yoko and her roommate. "Alright thanks guys, see you later!" Enid shouted leaving again as she sped walked back to her room.
She unlocked the door and closed it again before announcing "I'm back!" Into the room. She walked over and knocked on the bathroom door and heard Wednesday say "Come in, I'm just doing my hair". She opened the door and smiled at her girlfriend in the mirror as she held up the bandages and Wednesday smiled back as she finished brushing her dried hair. "You look beautiful with your hair down" Enid said smiling at her as she held her hips over her trousers. "Thank you cara mia, now can you help me put the bandages back on?" Wednesday asked. "Of course" Enid responded as she started to unravel it, Wednesday guided Enid on where she wanted it and how tightly she wanted it there as she held her arms out of the way for her stomach and staid still as Enid covered her shoulder. She lifted up her leg again for Enid to put the bandage over her leg. Wednesday looked at the cut on her hand as well. "Oh yea, nearly forgot your hand. Here" Enid said grabbing her wrist lightly, she kissed her palm gently and the inside of her wrist causing Wednesday to blush darkly at the gentle kisses before Enid wrapped the bandage over her hand, going up to her fingers slightly. "Thank you my love" Wednesday said as she pulled her bra and shirt over her head. Enid nodded as she watched Wednesday tie her hair up as she waited to use the shower herself. "I'll let you shower in peace now as I go get myself an outfit" Wednesday said tiptoeing to kiss her on the cheek before leaving again.
Enid undressed and got in the shower as she let the hot water run over her, humming a tune to herself. Meanwhile Wednesday was getting out her outfit of her checkered white and black shirt with her black jacket and black trousers. She also grabbed her black rings and put in her earrings Enid had bought for her a while ago. They where black skulls with little knives that hung down. She sat down on her bed as she waited for their girlfriend.
Enid walked out in the clothes she had been wearing before as her hair was still slightly wet but brushed back. She picked up her pink turtleneck sweater with a white long sleeved top to go underneath as well as white trousers with slight purple swirling round the legs.
"You look amazing my love, where are we meeting everyone?" Wednesday asked. "Thank you, you look great too. We're meeting them at the front gate" Enid answered. Wednesday nodded and grabbed her bag, placing her purse inside and letting Thing jump in the bag as well. She put the bag on their back before grabbing Enid's hand and pulling them out the door, they locked it behind them and made their way down to the front gate.
As they got there, they saw that Yoko and Bianca were outside talking to Divina. "Hey guys!" Enid shouted as she waved and Wednesday waved slightly. "Ah here are the lovebirds who took an entire bandage roll this morning" Bianca said smirking slightly. "Sorry but we had nothing and you had two for some reason so we took it" Enid replied sheepishly. "No worries she was only joking we had plenty anyway, if you need anymore feel free to come take it cause we don't need it" Yoko said in response as she smiled at Enid. Enid just nodded as they stood together. "Any idea where the others are?" Enid asked. "Nope, they haven't said anything yet. Though my guess is they're all only just remembering that we are hanging out" Bianca joked. After a few minutes of conversation, the three boys joined them and they started their walk to Jericho. "Why are we walking when we could have had a shuttle?" Eugene asked. "Walking's nice" Wednesday said simply. "Yea but so is driving" Eugene argued. "My bet is you forgot to ask your step mom" Divina teased. "Shut up" Wednesday hissed. Wednesday wasn't thrilled when she find out that her mother was in a relationship with her principal as well as her father, she didn't care that they're polyamorous but her principal? Really?
"Yea we didn't ask Weems in the end, it's a bit awkward with Wednesday and Weems right now so we decided not to" Enid explained as Wednesday just looked away. "That's fair, and Wednesday's right. Walking is nice, we get a bit of fresh air and we get to hang out longer than if we had gone in a car" Ajax suggested. "Yea" The others agreed as they continued their walk.
After another ten minutes they made it to the little town of Jericho. "Coffee and food then shopping for decorations and anything else we want?" Bianca suggested. "There's only one coffee shop" Wednesday mumbled loud enough that only Enid picked up on it. "Oh shit yea, would you be okay going in there" Enid asked as Wednesday looked up at her. Wednesday looked back down to the ground and shook her head lightly. "You guys go get some food and coffee, we're gonna go look around some shops for a head start. Maybe find somewhere else to buy some food" Enid told the others. Bianca realised why and just nodded back before opening the door for the others as Enid and Wednesday went the other way. "Feel bad for Wednesday" Yoko mumbled as the door closed.
Wednesday and Enid walked into the small corner shop in Jericho and got some snacks as Enid got an oasis and Wednesday got a monster to try after Yoko had been telling her to try it. As they walked out Wednesday opened the can and heard someone shout "SHE GOT MONSTER!". Enid and Wednesday turned to see the group walking down the street as Yoko pointed at them. Wednesday nodded in response before actually trying the drink as Enid dragged her over to the group. "So what's the verdict?" Yoko asked. "It's good, I'll buy it again sometime" Wednesday answered. "Oh wow she loves it" Bianca said in surprise.
"Anyways! We need to get some decorations for our dorm after a compromise was made last night" Enid started. "What kind of decorations we getting?" Ajax asked. "Just some normal Christmas decorations then some black and silver for Wednesday's side" Enid answered as they walked towards one of the shops. "What are we doing after that?" Xavier asked. "Hanging out i guess, unless you guys want to leave early?" Enid shrugged. "We could hang out and leave a little bit early to give you guys time to decorate" Bianca suggested and they all agreed.
They walked into one shop and the majority helped pick out the decorations for Enid's side of the room as Eugene, Wednesday and Xavier looked for some for Wednesday's side of the room. "So what colours are you putting on your side of the room?" Xavier asked. "Black, silver, gold and red" Wednesday answered as they walked through the shop. "We should go to the sale part first to see what we can find for the cheapest" Eugene suggested. "No need, money isn't an issue today, we can spend as much as we'd like" Wednesday responded before something caught her eye. There was a box pushed to the back with black tinsel sticking out of it. She walked over to it and looked inside to see black tinsel and ball balls with part white on the balls. "Let's take this and see what we can find in other shops" Wednesday said as she picked it up. The other two looked at each other as Wednesday walked ahead of them and shrugged before following.
On the other side of the store, Enid, Yoko, Bianca, Divina and Ajax were all picking out colourful decorations for Enid's room. "Anything I don't use can be used for the common room of our dorm or one of you guys can take it for you room" Enid called out as she was still looking at some decorations. "I'll take some if you don't use them, I might take some of Wednesday's as well if she's okay with it and doesn't use them all" Yoko said in response. "She probably won't but I'd check with her first" Enid responded. "Anyways let's buy the stuff we've got and check with the others if we need anymore decorations" Bianca suggested as the others nodded and followed to the checkout.
"WENDY!" Enid shouted getting Wednesday's attention immediately as Xavier and Eugene looked confused. "Hey, have you got everything?" Wednesday asked as they walked over. "Yea I have everything, what about you?" Enid asked. "No, we could only find a box of decorations that were black and white" Wednesday responded. "So buy these and go to another store?" Enid asked and Wednesday nodded in response. "Time to pay for these then, goodbye money for the month" Enid mumbled as she went up to pay. "You aren't paying, I am" Wednesday said grabbing her wrist. "I'm paying for my stuff?" Enid said confused. "No, I'm paying for it all as I was the one who invited you out" Wednesday argued. "But-" "No buts, I'm paying that's final" Wednesday finishes. Enid pouts slightly but nods anyway.
The group follows Wednesday as they go to the tills, the group watches as the price goes up to £100 "Jesus Wednesday! That's a lot of money!" Enid shouts. "It's fine, my parents have an obsession with giving me loads of money so I have more than enough" Wednesday replies as she pays for it all. Enid just sighs but accepts it as a response instead of arguing.
The group walks out the shop and quickly enters the next one to continue looking. Instead of splitting off into groups they all go together to look for decorations for the emo they love. This shop seemed more Wednesday's smile as they had more black, white and silver decorations than any other colour. "I think you'll be able to get as many as Enid got but in your own colour" Xavier joked as the others laughed slightly. Wednesday just hummed and started looking round the decorations as plenty of memories went through her head. All the times she'd look for decorations with her brothers and Uncle as her parents went to buy a tree each year. A small smile appeared on her face as she kept looking.
She missed them?
Wow, she missed her family. Damn.
The others seemed to notice that she had paused in her thoughts. "You good Wed?" Bianca asked tapping her shoulder. "Hmm? Oh yes, just thinking" Wednesday answered. "What you thinking about?" Yoko asked. "My family and how we celebrated Christmas" Wednesday answered. "Oooo how did you guys celebrate?" Ajax asked. "I'd take my brothers shopping for decorations like these, sometimes with my uncle Fester whilst my parents got the tree. Then we'd all go home and decorate the entire house which would take a very long time as we live in a mansion. After that we'd sit down at the fire in conversation or reading" Wednesday retailed. "You have multiple brothers?" Xavier asked. "Yes, Pugsley and Pubert. Pubert was born when I had already turned ten" Wednesday continued. "That's why I never met him" Xavier confirmed. "Why would you have met him anyway?" Ajax asked. "Oh me and Wednesday met years ago at my aunts funeral, I got locked in the casket when we were playing hide and seek" Xavier explained. "Why have neither of you said anything?!" Bianca shouted. "Didn't seem pertinent" Wednesday commented before continuing to look.
After a few more minutes they got more than enough decorations for Wednesday's side of the room. "So you said about a tree, do you want to buy a new one? I normally use a plastic one every year" Enid asked. "We could get an actual tree for the common room instead of your room so then we still have a real one and everyone can help decorate" Yoko suggested. "That works, you alright with that Wendy?" Enid asked grabbing the hand that wasn't holding bags. "Yes" Wednesday answered as she loosened the grip of Enid's hand. "Do you not want me to hold your hand?" Enid asked in a whisper. "Not that its just the cut" Wednesday answered. "Right, sorry" Enid said lifting the hand up and kissing the back of it.
After a bit of walking the group got to the place they're planning on getting a tree from. As they walked in they saw that Weems was already there with Wednesday's parents. "Yo its your family!" Ajax shouted slightly causing Weems to turn around and then Wednesday's parents. "Oh Viper how lovely and surprising to see you!" Gomez shouted as he walked over to his daughter who just glared slightly. "Hello dear" Morticia said after Gomez had let go of Wednesday. "Mother, father, Weems" Wednesday said looking at the three of them. "To what do we owe the pleasure?" Weems asked the group. "We're getting a tree for the common room of the Ophelia Hall" Bianca explained. "Oh how lovely!" Morticia said with a massive smile. "Where are the other two?" Wednesday asked her parents.
"Right here!" Two people shouted at her before they jumped on her. She grunted as they hit her and she stumbled forward slightly. "Really?" She asked the two as they both hugged her. "Yes" Pugsley said. She just sighed but ruffled Pubert's hair slightly as he giggled in response. "Are you coming home to put up the decorations?" Pubert asked Wednesday. "Not this time" Wednesday answered. "Bu-but we always pu-put up decorations and-and watch nightmare before Christmas" Pubert said as tears threatened to fall. Wednesday lent down slightly and picked him up as Pugsley let go of her. "I'll make a compromise with you, you can help me decorate my side of the room I share and we can watch some movies instead as I can't come home to do it this year I'm afraid" Wednesday suggested as she moved her right hand to wipe the tears that started falling, ignoring the pain in her hand from the weight on her hand. "Hmmmm I don't know Pubert, I don't think you should accept" Pugsley challenged. "And why not" Wednesday seethed as she glared at her brother. "Because I don't have an invitation!" Pugsley shouted causing Pubert to giggle. "You can come I guess, is this all okay with you Enid?" Wednesday asked turning to their girlfriend slightly. "Of course! You guys can help me out as well if you want! That is unless you're also allergic to colour" Enid replied. "Yay!" Pubert shouted as he wiggled slightly and Wednesday flinched slightly that somehow everyone but the two younger children noticed. I mean she never does it normally so it is quite strange.
"Pubert, why don't you and Pugsley continue looking for a tree with us as these lot go with Larissa to look for a tree for their dorm common room" Morticia suggested. Pubert nodded and hugged Wednesday quickly before letting her go and she let him back down. She flexed her hand and looked down at the bandages to see it now bleeding as you could see red start to slowly spread. "Fantastic" she muttered as the pain from it continued. "What happened-oh, that's not good" Xavier said. "Really? I thought it was" Wednesday said with a deadpan expression as she stared at him. "Come on lets get you to the hospital or something and get it re-stitched" Bianca said holding on her shoulder to lead her away as the rest of them waved at Wednesday's family.
After half an hour, they where walking back to the Christmas trees as they had simple conversation. Enid and Wednesday seemed to be walking behind slightly before Weems slowed down and joined them. "Wednesday can I talk to you alone for a minute?" Weems asked. "Yes" Wednesday said before kissing Enid on the cheek who smiled in response and walked closer to the others instead.
"It's come to my attention that you don't like me" Weems started. "I don't have any issues or grievances with you, in fact I was quite happy when you survived Laurel's attack" Wednesday answered. "Then why is it that you seem to never want to talk to me and are hesitant to the idea that I be around your family?" Weems asked. "It's awkward to know that you're my principal and I have to listen to your orders but your also my mother in sorts" Wednesday admits. "As if you'd listen to my orders anyways. Wednesday, our relationship as student and principal shouldn't prohibit us from having a relationship on a more personal level. I understand your hesitancy may also be connected to the fact I'm joining your parents relationship new-" Weems started but Wednesday cut her off. "I don't have an issue with you joining their relationship, as soon as I saw you and my mother interact I knew you two would end up in some form of relationship so I accepted pretty early on that you, my mother and father would end up polyamorous together" Wednesday explained. "Oh, well alright then. I hope you don't have a continuing issue with our relationship as I actually quite like you no matter how many times you've annoyed me and disobeyed me. I'd like to get to know you better as well as it not be awkward for us" Weems finished. "I guess that's fine" Wednesday mumbled causing Weems to smile. "I'm glad" She said before walking forward back to the rest of the group.
Enid soon fell back to walk with Wednesday as they got back to the tree to look around. "What was that about? If you don't mind me asking" Enid asked. "Don't worry about it Cara mia, just a friendly chat" Wednesday answered. They started looking round and ran into Wednesday's family again as they had already picked a tree. Pubert held Wednesday's right hand as Enid held onto Wednesday's left lightly. The family helped them pick out a tree as they helped cut it down. Lurch had already started the journey to take it back to their house per Gomez's instructions, Morticia and Gomez planned on staying with Weems in her office for a bit as Pugsley and Pubert would help out Wednesday and Enid.
After they had finished everyone walked back to the school as Weems took the tree back in the pick up truck she had bought for the Addams Christmas tree. "How are we decorating your room?" Pubert asked as Wednesday was giving him a piggy back, surprisingly. "We're going to hang some tinsel up in some string, with ball balls and lights and then we'll decorate half the tree each. "Why only half?" Pubert sulked. "Because it's only fair as me and Enid share the dorm. If you ask her nicely she might let you help her as well so you'd get to decorate both sides" Wednesday answers. "Can I help?" Pubert asked turning to Enid. "Of course you can help!" Enid grinned causing the little boy to start giggling as Wednesday smiled softly.
After another ten minutes they'd made it back to see Weems getting the help of some Werewolves to take the tree inside. Morticia smirked at her as they walked past and up to her office with Gomez. Yoko made a fake gagging noise causing the others to laugh except Wednesday. "We'll be waiting in the common room for you guys, have fun decorating!" Yoko shouted slightly as the rest of them walked into the common room and Wednesday, Enid, Pugsley and Pubert went up to the shared dorm room. Enid set down the bags and went over to her closet before dragging out a massive box. "Have any of you guys ever used a fake tree?" Enid asked as she dragged it over to the window. "No" Pugsley answered. "Well you'll get to learn today, we can set that up after we decorate each side of the room" Enid smiled before grabbing her bags of decorations as Wednesday grabbed her own.
After a few minutes of light conversations and jokes the sides of the rooms where decorated and all that was left was the tree. "I must say Wednesday, your side of the room looks great. Seems like the helpers made quite the impact" Enid commented as she wrapped one arm around Wednesday's shoulder. "So how do you put up a fake tree?" Pugsley asked. "Right, so it comes in three parts, the one I bought also has fake snow on it. Anyways, you take out the bottom part and pull the little metal bars up and then down so the branches stick out, you make sure each specific little stick stick out before getting out the next part and attaching it" Enid explains as she starts to unpack it from the box and shows them what to do. Wednesday watches with a smile as her brothers pay attention to how Enid explains it and jump at the opportunity to help. After they'd managed to put the decorations up Pugsley and Pubert had ran to the principals office to go see their parents as Wednesday and Enid just sat on the floor together in front of the tree. "I'm proud of you" Enid said suddenly to Wednesday. "Why?" "Because you took care of your brothers today and pushed aside your own needs for them, even though you shouldn't have" "Isn't that more reason to not be proud than it is to be proud?" "I wasn't done, I'm proud that you openly showed your emotion and care to them instead of pushing it down instead" "Thank you" Wednesday sighed and lent her head on Enid's shoulder. "Ready to go face the music?" Enid asked. "Not at all but let's do it" Wednesday sighed before standing up and lifting Enid up as well.
"Look what the cat dragged in!" Bianca shouted slightly as they had all turned to see Enid and Wednesday walking in holding two bags full of decorations. "Hey you had some left! Can I use them for my room Wednesday?" Yoko asked as they came over and sat with them. "Yes you may" "Save some for the tree! It'll be a nice contrast to have and can be a little tribute to Wednesday!" Eugene shouted slightly. "Oh hell yea! That'd be great!" Xavier shouted as well. "You're all so unnecessarily loud" Wednesday mumbled before sitting down on the sofa next to Bianca who had been sat quietly after they had entered. "Why are you so quiet?" Wednesday asked turning to her. "My poor excuse of a mother won't leave me alone and keeps messaging me" She mumbled in response. "Do you want me to kill her?" Wednesday asks. "Leave that till after the holidays, apparently she's getting me a gift" Bianca joked causing Wednesday to snort slightly. "Ha! You laughed!" Bianca shouted slightly laughing as well. "I don't know what you're talking about, I didn't laugh" Wednesday said as it was muffled by her hand as she tried to cover her smile. "You're smiling and tryna hide it ya little minx!" Bianca shouted laughing even more, she ended up falling off of the sofa causing Wednesday to burst out into laughter before slapping her hand over her mouth in embarrassment. "YOUR LAUGH IS AMAZING!" Bianca shouted as tears fell down her face. "Are you guys okay?" Yoko asked. Wednesday just did a thumbs up as her hand was still slapped over her mouth. "Ignoring that, do you guys want to put up the decorations now?" Enid asked. "We agreed to let Pubert help us" Ajax said briefly. "When?" Wednesday asked. "Before they went to Weems office they ran down here and Pugsley explained that Pubert wanted to help out and they asked us if it was okay" Eugene explained. Wednesday just hummed and nodded as she had completely recovered from earlier.
After another ten minutes the family walked back in and Pubert jumped over the couch and grabbed onto Wednesdays shoulder. "Ow!" She suddenly shouted causing Pubert to panic slightly. "I'm sorry" He said as tears appeared in his eyes. "No no its okay don't worry" Wednesday said picking him up and putting him on her lap. "But you said ow" "It hurt but it was an accident so it's okay" Wednesday explained to him and lightly kissed his forehead. "Now, do you want to help put up the decorations on the tree we bought?" Wednesday asked as she stroked his cheek lightly. He smiled and nodded so she let him get down. "We all doing this?" Bianca asked. "Absolutely not" Wednesday answered. "Yes you are, come on" Yoko said grabbing their hand and pulling them up. "Ugh fine" Wednesday groaned as she trudged over to the tree with them.
God forbid she admit that this was actually fun.
After a month it was finally Christmas day. Wednesday woke up to see Enid still sound asleep. Wow, it didn't change on Christmas day? She smiled nonetheless and kissed her forehead lightly "Merry Christmas my love" she whispered before going into the bathroom and taking her clothes and bandages off before getting in the shower. She heard a knock and shouted "Come in!" and heard the door open "Hey, do you have enough bandages?" Enid asked. "I don't know, can you check please?" Wednesday asked. "Yea there's half a roll if bandages" Enid shouted out. "Okay good, I'll be out in a minute" Wednesday said and heard the door close again. Wednesday finished her shower and started drying herself off and blow dried her hair "Hey Enid!" Wednesday called. "Yes love, what's up?" Enid asked. "Can you help me put my bandages back in?" Wednesday asked. "Yea of course" Enid said before opening the door. "Woah..." Enid said as she saw Wednesday. "Yes I have abs can we leave it?" Wednesday asked slightly annoyed. "No I mean woah cause you're trusting me to have no shirt or trousers on" Enid explained. "Well yea I have to bandage my leg and my stomach and shoulder so it was just convenient" Wednesday mumbled. "Anyways, can we just put the bandages on?" Wednesday asked. "You sure you need them anymore?" Enid asked. "I'd rather put them on in case today" Wednesday mumbled. "Okay, lets do it then" Enid smiled back and softly kissed her on the forehead. She helped bandage her leg first so Wednesday could put her trousers on. She then helped bandage her stomach, shoulder, arm and hand. "And we're good to go!" Enid smiled and kissed Wednesday's shoulder. "I'll let you shower then we can go down and join the others" Wednesday said before walking out. She walked over to her bed and saw that Enid had set down her normal outfit and a pair of fake antlers with a note asking for her to wear her hair down for today if she's comfortable with it. Wednesday smiled and put the outfit on and followed the request of putting no hair ties in. She picked up the antlers on as well as all of her rings. She sat down on her bed and waited for Enid patiently. She turned her head as she heard tapping and saw Thing signing to her. "You have your hair down?" "Yes Thing, Enid asked me to so I agreed" "Well it looks nice" "Thank you Thing" Wednesday responded smiling.
After five more minutes, Enid walked out the bathroom and smiled as she saw Wednesday. "Hey you did it!" Enid shouted. "Of course my love, now get dressed so we can go downstairs" Wednesday responded. Enid nodded and put on the outfit she had laid out before and put on the Santa hat before grabbing Wednesday's hand and running downstairs. "MERRY CHRISTMAS MOTHER FUCKERS!" Enid shouted kicking open the door to see...no one. Wednesday burst out laughing as Enid had been so excited that ears appeared on her head and a tail grew. She was wagging her tail but saw no one was there and it immediately went between her legs and her ears flattened. "I'm sorry for laughing but that was very funny my love" Wednesday said patting her shoulder and Enid's tail started wagging again. "Do you want to get some hot chocolate and then come back?" Wednesday asked. Enid just nodded and they started walking to the cafeteria. Wednesday got her phone out and messaged everyone privately threatening them if they didn't get down to the common room now.
A while later, they where on their way back to the common room. "You should do what you did earlier again" Wednesday said with a smirk. "You know what! I will! Jokes on you!" Enid shouted slightly, walking faster. Wednesday smirked, exactly what she wanted Enid to think. "MERRY CHRISTMAS MOTHER FUCKERS!" Enid shouted kicking this door to see everyone inside this time as they all turned to smile at them. "See Wednesday! They were here this time! Jokes on you!" Enid shouted a she grinned. "Oh no" Wednesday said with a slight smirk. "You guys got hot chocolate without us, I'm hurt" Xavier said with a frown. "Oh you'll live" Bianca said smacking him lightly. "Anyways, gifts!" Yoko shouted. "HELL YEA!" Enid shouted running over to the separate little groups. "Yours is there, Wednesday's is the one next to it" Bianca said pointing them out. Of course with this group it took them a while to get situated but eventually they got comfortable in their own seats with there gifts. "Alright go ahead guys" Yoko said shrugging. Wednesday watched the others open theirs. She looked down at the gifts and saw all the colour. She was becoming more and more accustomed to colour after being with Enid for so long but this was too much. "Ummm" Wednesday hummed to herself as she held her hands above the gifts and flexed her fingers over and over again. "Is it a bit much?" Xavier asked. He didn't get a response but took it as a yes. "Told you guys we should have got black and white like they did, I told you" Bianca said before walking over. "Do you want us to unwrap all of them or some of them?" Bianca asked. "Uh so-some" Wednesday hesitated. "We'll do all of them" Bianca smiled at her and sat next to her. She brought her gifts next to her so she could still open them but also help Wednesday open the gifts that had colour on them. That was all except from the small pile of black and white ones. Wednesday picked one up and saw that it was signed by Enid. She looked to their girlfriend next to them with so much love in their eyes. "You hate colour so" Enid started. "I love you so much" Wednesday said with a small smile. Enid just blushed and looked away as Wednesday opened the gift, inside was a set of matching earrings and rings. "I don't know about you guys but I love these gifts" Yoko said from across the room as someone had given her a glass of blood with a straw and the cup was to be reused.
The rest of the day continued like that, the group just sat together in the common room together opening gifts and bragging about them. Absolutely no one expected gifts from Wednesday but she was always the most surprising out of them all. "I love you guys so much" Ajax suddenly said as he was laying on the floor. "Yea I love you guys too!" Enid shouted. They all went around and said it before staring at Wednesday. "I'm not saying that" "That doesn't mean it isn't true" Bianca retorted immediately. "Shut up" "Love you too". They continued just spending time together.
