PREVIOUSLY: SILENCE AMIDST THE TEMPEST

As the days passed, both Raimon and Shizen remained fully dedicated to their training and preparations. They knew that the soccer tournament was fast approaching, and there was no room for complacency or slacking off.

At Raimon, the team's determination had reached new heights. Endou, the captain, led by example, pushing his teammates to their limits and beyond. Their training sessions were intense, with a focus on strengthening their skills and strategizing for upcoming matches.

Each member of Raimon had grown more aware of their roles and responsibilities within the team. The once-struggling team began to show signs of improvement, their plays becoming more coordinated and their strategies more effective.

Meanwhile, Shizen, led by Tenma, embarked on their own journey towards improvement. The team trained with unwavering dedication, pushing their limits both physically and mentally. Tenma's leadership inspired his teammates to push past their comfort zones, encouraging them to strive for excellence and unlock their full potential. Together, they focused on building a strong foundation of trust and understanding, knowing that a united team would be their greatest strength in the upcoming tournament.

The rigorous training sessions were grueling, but Raimon and Shizen knew that they couldn't afford to let their guard down. They embraced the challenges as opportunities for growth, pushing their physical and mental limits to become the best versions of themselves.

Until one day, it has finally come...

............................................................................

The night sky had descended upon Okinawa, casting a dark shroud over the land. Rain fell relentlessly, drenching everything in its path. The thick fog that accompanied the downpour obscured visibility, making it difficult to see beyond a few feet. Nevertheless, the residents of Okinawa were no strangers to such weather conditions.

Inside the car, Hotaru sat in silence, his gaze fixed on the rain-soaked world outside. His youngest son, Kiyoshi, nestled against his lap, peacefully asleep. Shinjiro tenderly ran his fingers through the boy's hair, a gentle expression of fatherly affection. As he watched the raindrops race down the windowpane, a sense of serenity washed over him, finding solace in the mesmerizing dance of light they created.

Glancing at his sleeping son. "He must be exhausted."

"Indeed, Hotaru-sama. He has been training rigorously all day. He wants to impress his older brother," replied their chauffeur. Hotaru smiled, well aware of his youngest son's admiration for his elder sibling.

"And how is Arion doing?"

"He's doing exceptionally well, Hotaru-sama. Even though he's been forbidden from participating in his regular training sessions with his team, he's been quite busy with school lately. To pass the time, he decided to lend a hand to the student council in preparing for the upcoming school festival. Of course, we ensure he gets proper rest and doesn't overexert himself."

Suddenly, a loud crack of thunder echoed through the air, causing Kiyoshi to stir in his sleep. Hotaru gently tightened his grip on his son's shoulder, offering him comfort and reassurance. The rain continued to pour relentlessly, creating a rhythmic backdrop against the windows of the car.

The chauffeur, Takashi, kept his eyes trained on the road ahead, navigating through the rain and fog with practiced ease. As they traveled along the winding path, a peculiar sight caught his attention—a blue caravan parked by the side of the road, nestled against the edge of the dense forest. He furrowed his brow, wondering why someone would be out in such weather.

"Master Hotaru," the chauffeur called out urgently, breaking the silence but still mindful of his voice to avoid waking up the little master. "I see a blue caravan up ahead, right by the forest," the chauffeur said, his voice carrying concern.

Hotaru shifted his gaze from the rain-streaked window, glancing at his sleeping son one last time before turning his attention to the road. "A caravan, you say? It's quite an odd place to stop in this weather. What could it be doing here at this hour? Can you see if there's anyone inside?"

The chauffeur squinted through the rain and fog, trying to make out any signs of movement. "It's difficult to make out from this distance, Master Hotaru, but I see a lot of movement inside. It's possible they are waiting for the rain to ease up. Shall I go investigate further?"

Hotaru pondered for a moment before nodding. "Yes, Takashi. Pull over and see if everything is alright. It could be someone in need of assistance. Please, proceed with caution."

The car slowed down as Takashi expertly maneuvered it closer to the caravan. Takashi parked the car a short distance away, leaving the engine running to maintain warmth and comfort for his master.

He stepped out, an umbrella in hand, and made his way toward the blue vehicle. Each step created a splash in the puddles that had formed on the rain-soaked road.

He approached the door of the blue vehicle and knocked. The sound of voices abruptly ceased, and the door slowly swung open to reveal a young man with brunette hair, sporting an orange bandana on his head.

"Hey there, we noticed your caravan and thought you might need some help. Is everything alright?" Takashi asked with genuine concern. "It's not safe to stay out here in this weather."

"Hey there, come in," the young man invited warmly. Takashi entered the caravan and found a group of teenagers huddled together, wrapped in blankets to fend off the chill brought on by the relentless rain.

"Thanks for stopping by," the young man said gratefully. "We got caught in this downpour, and with the fog, it's hard to see the road. We're lost, and it's getting colder in here. Do you happen to know of any nearby shelter where we could go? My team is getting really cold, and we can't stay out here much longer." The concern for his friends was evident in his voice.

Understanding their predicament, Takashi nodded. "I understand. Please wait here, and I'll be back shortly." As he prepared to leave, he turned back to the man. "By the way, who are you guys? It seems you're not from around here."

"Oh, I apologize for not introducing myself. I'm Endou Mamoru, the coach of the Raimon Soccer Club. We're here for a training camp." Endou extended his hand towards the chauffeur, who firmly shook it. "Again, thank you for helping us."

Leaving the warmth of the caravan, Takashi hurried back to the car. He swiftly entered the vehicle and relayed the situation to Hotaru, who listened attentively. "Hotaru-sama, you might not want this situation. It's the Raimon soccer team."

Hotaru's expression turned uneasy, a sense of apprehension washing over him. "The fact that they're here in Okinawa for a training camp... What should we do, Hotaru-sama?" He pondered for a moment, feeling torn, but he couldn't leave them stranded in the cold rain.

"Takashi, inform them that they can seek temporary shelter at the estate for now."

This caught the chauffeur by surprise. "But what about Arion, Master Hotaru? Is it wise to let him encounter them like this?"

"I'm aware of the consequences, but we cannot abandon them in the rain. I will notify Kaito in advance of their arrival. He will know what to do."

Takashi appeared hesitant, his concern mirrored in his eyes, but he didn't question his master any further. "As you wish, Master Hotaru. I'll deliver the message to them right now."

As Takashi stepped out of the car, Hotaru picked up his phone and dialed Itsuki's number. After a few rings, Itsuki's calm voice greeted him on the other end. "Hotaru-sama, how can I assist you?"

"Kaito, I have an important matter to discuss with you," Hotaru began, his tone filled with concern. "The Raimon soccer team will be arriving at the estate. I want you to handle everything upon their arrival. Also... Inform Arion about this immediately."

🌸

Meanwhile, at the Raimon soccer team's caravan, Endou Mamoru and his teammates anxiously awaited the man's return. The relentless rain continued to beat down, causing a chill to settle within the confined space. The atmosphere was laden with a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.

Suddenly Tsurugi spoke, voiced the question that lingered in everyone's minds. "Endou Kantoku, where exactly are we heading?"

Endou's brows furrowed with uncertainty. The original plan was to surprise the team with their training camp location, but the unexpected rain and fog had obscured their surroundings. "Our training camp is in Okinawa," he began, his voice steady despite the unknown. "However, due to the weather conditions, I'm not entirely sure where we are at the moment."

Just as their spirits began to waver, he returned, a reassuring smile on his face. "Good news, everyone," he announced, his voice carrying a glimmer of hope. "I have received permission. You can seek temporary shelter with us at my master's place. It's not too far from here."

Relief washed over the faces of the Raimon soccer team members as they heard the words. The news was like a beacon of light in the midst of the storm. Endou Mamoru, their coach, couldn't help but feel grateful for the kindness they had encountered in this unfamiliar place.

"Thank you so much," Endou expressed his gratitude, his voice filled with genuine appreciation. "We were starting to worry about staying out here in the rain. Your generosity means a lot to us."

"Please don't thank me. It was my master who planned everything. You will be safe and comfortable there," Takashi replied humbly. "I'll lead the way. Just follow closely behind the car."

Endou nodded in agreement, Takashi returned to the car and started the engine, taking the lead on the road.

Endou, now seated in the driver's seat of the caravan, turned the key and ignited the engine. The sound of the roaring engine reverberated through the air as the caravan began to move, cautiously following the black car.

The team was getting excited. It was obvious that they didn't want to stay here any longer. Right now, everyone just wanted to go somewhere warm. They had been fortunate to encounter someone and find temporary respite from the rain.

"Finally, we're getting out of here," exclaimed Nishiki, his voice brimming with relief.

"I wonder what the house will be like," pondered Shinsuke, curiosity evident in his tone.

"Perhaps it's one of those fancy mansions where the rich family live," speculated Kirino, who could already picture it based on his experience visiting his best friend's mansion.

"How can you tell we'll be staying at a mansion, Kirino-senpai?" asked Kariya, casting a questioning glance at the ace defender. Kirino glanced at his best friend, Shindou.

Shindou gets the message and is the one to reply. "The way he mentioned master, the is most commonly people working under the rich family tend to address them, master."

As they continued along the rain-soaked road, the team's anticipation grew with every passing minute. The sound of raindrops tapping against the windows created a soothing rhythm, gradually calming their nerves. The headlights cut through the darkness, illuminating the path ahead and revealing glimpses of the surrounding scenery.

Takashi's car took a turn, and the soccer team followed closely, their excitement mounting. The caravan emerged from the dense forest. The trees towered over them, forming an emerald canopy that shielded them from the relentless rain. The team marveled at the natural beauty surrounding them, feeling a sense of wonder and tranquility.

Suddenly, tall trees lining the road gave way to an expansive clearing with elegant wrought-iron gates. Beyond the gates, a majestic structure revealed itself far ahead, standing proud amidst beautifully manicured gardens. Its imposing facade exuded a sense of grandeur and history.

Takashi guided them through the iron gates and up the winding driveway, their eyes widening with marvel at the opulence that surrounded them.

The Raimon soccer team members couldn't help but gasp in awe as the house their staying in came into view. The mansion's large windows sparkled invitingly, and warm light spilled out, casting a golden glow onto the wet pavement.

"This is beyond a mere mansion; it's a castle," the thought resonated in the minds of the Raimon team members. Their voices filled with a mix of disbelief and surprise.

The mansion, more fittingly described as a castle, loomed before them in all its magnificence. Its colossal size easily dwarfed the Raimon School building, perhaps even doubling its scale. The front grounds alone sprawled across a vast expanse, spanning at least two acres, adorned with lush trees and vibrant blooms lining the driveway. A magnificent swan fountain graced the entrance, exuding elegance, while a sprawling greenhouse stood proudly at the side.

As they approached the mansion, Takashi pulled over, and the Raimon Caravan came to a stop behind it. At the door, two figures standing, dressed as a maid and a butler, unmistakably the servants of the mansion.

The Raimon team members noticed a man step out of a sleek black car, an umbrella in hand. They instantly recognized him as the one who had helped them in the forest. He quickly went to the left side of the car and opened the passenger door with utmost care. A sturdy man, seemingly in his late thirties and dressed in a white turtleneck shirt, emerged, cradling something in his arms, discreetly covered by a black jacket suit. Raimon could discern that it was a child due to a small foot protruding from beneath the fabric.

Swiftly ascending the stairs, the man made his way into the mansion, accompanied by the chauffeur, who dutifully shielded them both with the umbrella. Upon reaching the door, the two servants waiting there greeted the master with hands on their chests, bowing their heads respectfully.

"Who is that?" asked Hamano as the team carefully looks at the man talking with the butler. The man acknowledged the greeting with a nod, conveying a sense of both authority and approachability. With the child still cradled protectively in his arms, he stepped inside the grand entrance of the mansion, the double doors opening to reveal a glimpse of the lavish interior.

"It could be the owner of this place," Hayami speculated, the notion floating among the team as they continued to watch in wonder.

Their attention was momentarily diverted when a knock on the caravan's door interrupted their musings. Endou pressed a button, and the door swung open, revealing Takashi standing outside with several umbrellas in hand. "Please come inside," he invited warmly and hands them the umbrellas.

The Raimon team members exchanged excited glances. Stepping out of the caravan, their footsteps softened by the damp cobblestones, they followed Takashi's lead, ascending the grand staircase toward the mansion's entrance. At the top of the stairs, a butler, embodying impeccable manners, stood waiting, holding the doors open with a graceful gesture.

A kind-faced butler welcomed them at the entrance, dressed in a sharp black suit. His voice carried a soothing tone as he greeted them, "Welcome, everyone to Chateau De Amor Estate. I'm Kaito Itsuki, the head butler. I'll be handling all your accommodations during your stay." His gentle warmth and humility were palpable as he bowed his head and invited them to step inside. "Please, come inside and make yourselves comfortable,"

The Raimon soccer team entered the mansion, their wet shoes leaving traces of water on the gleaming marble floor. The atmosphere within was immediately welcoming and inviting, enveloping them in a sense of comfort. The butler led them through a grand foyer adorned with sparkling chandeliers and intricate artwork, immersing them in an atmosphere of refined beauty. The air carried a delicate fragrance of lavender, adding to the overall sense of elegance that enveloped the space.

"The rain's probably not going to stop until tomorrow. You all have to stay here for the night. I'll show you to your rooms, so you can freshen up and get settled."

Grateful for the shelter and the warmth of their host's hospitality, the team members nodded appreciatively. Endou Mamoru, their coach, stepped forward and expressed their gratitude, "Thank you so much for your hospitality. We truly appreciate your generosity in accommodating us."

Leading the way to the second floor, the butler guided the team through the mansion's intricate corridors, each step unveiling more of its exquisite beauty.

Passing ornate tapestries, intricate woodwork, and soft, glowing sconces, they marveled at the meticulous attention to detail that adorned the hallways. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of tranquility as if the mansion itself held a secret of serenity.

Their footsteps echoed softly as they reached a landing adorned with a stunning stained glass window. Its vibrant hues painted delicate patterns of light on the polished marble floor below. Kaito paused and turned towards the team.

"Before we get inside. There are some rules you must comply with." The Raimon stopped in their track and listened to the butler. "First, you must not roam around the place or goes inside any room here, especially above the second floor."

Raimon's confusion was palpable as they processed the unexpected rules set forth by the butler. They exchanged puzzled glances, unsure of the reasons behind such restrictions.

"But why are those areas off-limits?" Midori inquired, voicing the team's collective curiosity.

"These rules have been put in place to ensure the safety and privacy of all within the estate, most notably my master's family," Kaito explained, his words carrying a sense of protective vigilance. "Lastly, I must inform you that the room you will be staying in contains some valuable belonging to the young master and his friends, the rest of the room is at your disposal for your comfort and use."

These surprised the Raimon team; they had never imagined they would be staying in such a place, surrounded by valuable possessions.

"This way, please," he said, gesturing towards a set of elegant tall double doors. As they stepped inside, the Raimon team members were speechless by the sight before them. It felt as though they had been transported to another place entirely. The room they entered was vast, blending the timeless elegance of the mansion's design with modern touches that created a harmonious fusion of styles.

'This is not a room.' Thought all the Raimon as they explore the place.

It was akin to a modern, lavish apartment capable of accommodating their entire team. A sprawling living room unfolded, adorned with a plush, circular couch, a stylish coffee table, and a large television. Beyond the living room, a corridor beckoned, leading to a series of bedrooms. In one room, four beds were neatly arranged, offering a cozy space for team members to share. Each bedroom boasted its unique design, exuding a sense of comfort and tranquility. At the far end of the room, a private jacuzzi and a walk-in closet.

"This will be your room," Kaito said. "Please feel free to make yourselves at home. If you require anything, do not hesitate to ask. Dinner will be served promptly at 7 pm. Once you have settled in, there is a button near the corridor. Press it, and I will return to guide you to the dining hall."

"We will. Thank you very much." The adults nodded appreciatively, bowing to express their gratitude on behalf of the entire team. A sense of gratitude and excitement filled the air as the Raimon team members took in the splendor of their temporary residence. They couldn't help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for the generosity and hospitality extended to them in this extraordinary place.

🌸

Hotaru carefully lifted Kiyoshi into his arms, cradling him with tender care, and carried him to his designated room. With gentle movements, he tucked Kiyoshi into bed, ensuring his comfort for the night. Leaning closer, he whispered a soft, heartfelt goodnight before planting a gentle kiss on Kiyoshi's forehead.

Closing the bedroom door behind him, Hotaru proceeded down the hallway, his footsteps echoing softly on the polished floor. Making his way to the study, Hiroto settled into a plush armchair and stared out of the window. The raindrops streaked down the glass, blurring the view of the beautifully manicured gardens beyond.

"Welcome home, Tou-san."

Hotaru turned his head towards the door and saw his older son standing there. A soft smile graced his lips. "You should have rested, Arion," his voice filled with warmth as he motioned for Arion to join him in the study.

"I took a nap earlier, but I couldn't bring myself to sleep knowing that you and Kiyoshi were still out in the pouring rain," Arion replied, his voice laced with concern as he settled into a chair next to his father.

You've always been like this," Hotaru remarked, can't help but smile, cherishing this side of Arion. "Rest assured, Kiyoshi is safe and sound now. He's already resting in his room."

Silence enveloped them for a moment as they sat together, gazing out of the window. The rhythmic pattern of raindrops against the glass created a soothing backdrop to their thoughts.

After a brief pause, Hotaru spoke again, his voice filled with concern. "Arion, do you know..."

Arion met his father's gaze with a knowing look. "Yes, Itsuki-san has already informed me of the situation," he interjected, his voice filled with gratitude. "Thank you for helping them, Tou-san."

🌸

As the Raimon team members settled into their rooms, changing into comfortable clothes. In the living room, a few of them gathered, including Shinsuke, Tsurugi, Shindou, Kirino, Ichino, Hikaru, and Sanguko, awaiting the arrival of their teammates.

"I can't believe we're actually staying here for the night," Shinsuke remarked, sinking into a plush armchair and cradling a pillow against his chest.

Ichino's voice chimed in, drawing everyone's attention. "Minna, come over here! Look at this," he exclaimed, his eyes widening as he pointed toward a shelf along the wall. The team members curiously gathered around, their gaze fixated on the trophies and photographs.

The shelf was a treasure trove of memories, showcasing a collection of trophies and pictures of children wearing soccer uniforms. The team members were captivated by the display, their eyes tracing over the gleaming trophies and the beaming faces frozen in time.

"They were into soccer too," Kirino surprised as he observed, noting the prominence of trophies from various tournaments.

"I wonder who they are. With this many trophies, they must have been a strong team," Hikaru mused, his voice filled with admiration.

As their eyes roamed over the display, they came across a particular photograph at the center, capturing a large group of children at a picturesque beach. Smiles adorned their faces, radiating pure happiness. And in the bottom right corner of the photograph, elegant handwriting caught their attention. It read, "The Birth."

Their eyes gravitated to the center of the group, where a lively, brunette-haired child clutched a soccer ball with undeniable enthusiasm. To his right, a red-haired child playfully poked the brunette's cheek, while a white-haired child on the left gently formed bunny ears behind the brunette's head, all three of them beaming brightly at the camera.

"They look so adorable," Shinsuke commented, a playful glint in his eyes. "I really want to meet them and pinch their cheeks. They must have been such a lively and spirited group."

The team members chuckled, sharing Shinsuke's sentiment.

Just then, their laughter was interrupted by the arrival of the rest of their teammates, who had changed into casual clothes. They turned to see Endou Kantuko and the others joining them in the living room.

"What's so funny, Minna?" Endou Kantuko inquired, curiosity lighting up his eyes as he glanced at the shelf of memories.

"Nothing serious, Endou Kantoku. We just discovered pictures of the people who used to occupy this room, the ones Kaito-san mentioned to us," Shindou explained, a smile playing on his lips. They step aside to let others see.

Endou's eyes sparkled with interest as he took in the photographs and trophies adorning the shelf. He marveled at the memories in those images. "These pictures must hold so many memories,"

"As much as we would love to explore further, we shouldn't keep our hosts waiting. It's time for us to gather for dinner," he declared, shifting his attention to the team.

"HAI!"
