"I'm disappearing."
In fact, I'm not too sure about this. I thought the starting of 100 days can only be done after a confession... did I start with something else? He replied with confusion, "Wa-wait, why are you disappearing? Are you actually going to die..?" Technically, I would, but not like this. Perhaps, another lie to tell him. "I'm not going to tell you about it, but.. I'll be leaving now. You should too."
When I switched directions, he suddenly grabbed my hand out of nowhere and said, "Look. I may be scared of you, but I don't want you to die. How am I supposed to save you?" I guess it's time to stop playing. "I just lied about it, but now that the rain has stopped, you should be going home right now. Don't worry about me, I'm fine." I gave him a smile, to reassure the fact that I am "completely fine". He raised a concern saying, "S***, I fell hard. But are you really going to be okay?" I slowly removed his hand at my arm, and told him that I was really okay.
My heart starts to feel really tight and it's even harder to breathe. Even though I know that he is still worried about me, it seemed like he didn't want to show it. "Mina.. take care." He waved at me, so I did the same thing. I'm glad he walked a bit further and though, my legs startrd to weaken. Crying out of help due to the uncontrollable pain that I felt. My eyes suddenly turned light blue and I looked into my hand, while crying my pain. I really.. feel like this pain feels more than just a familiarity. I don't want to be reminded of this. Being left by...

I was so tired of getting scared the whole day, wondering if I could ever piss myself or not. I slowly walked down as I am still reminded of what happened today. I think Mina wasn't that bad.. maybe I wasn't just used to supernatural objects and other things that I am not aware that exist in this world.
So, does that mean basically Mina is a living proof that there are other supernatural creatures too? I'm scared. No, actually, I should just go back to where Mina is... Or I don't know. What if it is just her? I'm thinking a lot of things that I don't know whether it can be answered by not. Honestly, let me go to the forest again to-
That voice...
Is that Mina screaming? But not a normal scream. It's like.. she's crying for help because of what? Uhm, what could it be? Holy, I think it's just a good idea that I need to go back, something must have happened to her. You idiot, why did I leave her that? That's a not-so-gentlemen action.
I ran my way back to the forest and saw Mina kneeling, although her hands were pointed to her chest. She was screaming at her pain, although I don't get what that is. "Mina!" I tried to run towards her and she didn't look in my direction. She was too busy trying so hard not to scream but I can't help it..
"Mina! What's wrong?" I could tell that by the sounds she makes, she's in extreme pain right now.. I don't know what comforts her the most... I just realized that I was contemplating those things, as she turned in my direction, I looked down and saw her looking at me only for eyes to go back to those blue eyes. Except it was glowing two times, compared to before. Now, she looks so different here.
"Mina, what happened to you..?" I raised a concern. "It is none of your business, get out now", she coldly replied. As expected of the cold princess, but I'm gonna be stubborn because it's a waste leaving a princess here. Seriously, I want to know why she is like that. That is definitely not normal. What happened was something I did not expect.
Mina was so frustrated aside from the pain she was feeling that when I asked her the same question again, she pushed me but I did not expect that power would come from her. I didn't know I was flying away from that single push, and the next thing I knew.. Mina disappeared only to find that she went behind me. She immediately grabbed both of my arms and went flash in getting back to where she kneeled. We were both panting but she was more on feeling the pain.
"What was that for?" I asked, out of concern. "You were the most stupid and idiotic person that I get to meet in my life", Mina replied while panting. I said, "You didn't have to do that. Is there actually a problem with me, that's why you are being so nosy every time I'm around? I-", I got cut off by Mina, they replied, "Exactly! Your stupidity is the reason I... I..." she stuttered, waiting for her to say the last words in her sentence, only to get sarcastically hurt by what she said to me.
"... hated you!"
"Okay okay, you hated me but... how is your heart? Why didn't you tell me you have a heart disease", I dumbly asked, even though I knew it was probably to her other self, well, her supernatural soul.. I think. "Do you want to touch my chest that badly to know how it feels?", she asked. I mean it wouldn't hurt how her heart feels, isn't it?
Right..? Right, Author-nim? Everyone?
Exactly, even though I agreed it's just normal that way, I replied, "I mean I want to know how your heart feels, at least this moment." She averted her gaze, only to return that gaze below and said, "Come. Then." I was a bit flustered on what she said and I can feel the hot atmosphere in my face. "Can you be once normal? That perverted look on your face is questionable", Mina said, out of nowhere.
"Oh sorry, did I gaze too much on your.." I didn't want to say the last word, because I think she could still guess what I am talking about. I try to go near her and lean towards where her heart was. It.. it was beating really fast. But for some reason, it was warm. I was full of questions, so I asked Mina this one question without hesitation, "Mina.. whose heart is it beating for? Is this even normal?" I raised a concern because I don't exactly know her nature very well, but even so, I think it wouldn't hurt to try and understand her a bit better.
"It was beating for someone.. I wouldn't have lived this far if it weren't for them." Hearing this, does that mean Mina is already taken? If so, then to whom? "I'm interested to hear about your love story with someone, but can you tell me that the other day?" I paused for a while then continued, "It's because we're at the forest right now, and I am a bit scared of what happens if we stay here for long." She called my name, out of nowhere, "Y/N..", I replied, "Yes? You want to tell it now?" Mina just somehow shrugged it off and her question got me.
"Is there a 'dead girl' appearing in your dreams?"
Dead girl..? Does she mean that one girl who appeared dead and tried choking me or what? But most importantly, how'd she know about that? Somehow, I'm hesitating to share it with her.. I think it wouldn't do any harm if I just said a word. "Y-yeah, there is", I replied. She then averted her gaze from looking at me, to trying to avoid it. "What's wrong, Mina", I raised a concern. She then replied, "I'll tell you tomorrow night about what that is. Meet up is at midnight. Hope you don't forget about it."
"Don't you think you're forgetting one more thing from happening later", I said. Surely, she doesn't forget about the day later in the afternoon. Until she replied, that's when I knew she really remembers everything; "I do. In fact, I am just waiting for you to recover." We both laughed it off. I looked at the tree and said, "That tree's lonely, isn't it?" I continued, "During childhood, I get that feeling every time I look at the tree, and normally hug it.' Mina listened to all those while staring at me.. I was a bit nervous because what if I get killed later? "Pabo, I won't. But hearing you say that reminds me of someone", Mina replied while gazing at each other's sight.
I giggled for a bit and I bluntly asked, "Are they still with you, perhaps?" I think I messed it up, she looks hesitant to share. Please kill me already. She looked down for a bit then moved her head above, facing me. "Well.. they are kinda..." She paused for a bit, probably almost a minute trying to avoid me again before looking back at me,
"...Dead yet alive."
Wait, what do you mean by 'dead yet alive'? Does that mean there's also someone here who's concealing themselves or what? Holy.. "No, that's not what I mean, stupid", Mina said, being able to reply to what I was saying in her mind. I was giving her a confused look while also shivering.. "I'll just explain everything tomorrow." Mina then invited me to go back to the house together. Dang.. who would deny such a request? I giggled for a bit and she asked me. "What's with that? Are you gonna stay here then?" I immediately replied, "Aniyo, I'm going."
I gave her a smile.. thankfully, she gave me that smile of hers. She then walked her way but I couldn't stop myself from smiling after that scene. I told her, "You know you should smile often. It suits you. You'll prolly even catch more guys and gays out there." While walking our way back to my house, she looked at me saying, "Are you stupid?" Well, who am I to ask. I just shrugged it off. Speaking about it, I think we should talk about her career. I'm curious about how it all started.
"Mina, don't mind me stalking you from.." She just stopped walking and so, I did. I was a bit nervous and she then replied, "Do whatever you want. Ask me about it." Oh, did she know about it then? Well, I'll ask her about it. "Did you choose to be an idol?" She went silent for a moment, only to give a reply after a minute of silence, "I did. But they are all for money. But I never thought that the nine (9) of us would get close together." I tried to be as silent, for her to continue her story while we walked our way back. "I was close with Sana and Momo-unnie. Since they speak in my language, I was more comfortable with them. But that doesn't mean that I'm uncomfortable with other members though. It's just a connection, I guess." Heh, so she has friends too? She suddenly looked at me with a disgusted look then punched my chest. "Awh, that hurts, you know."
She then replied, "Yeah, I do have friends. How about you?" I couldn't reply to her since I only consider Jinyoung as one. I carefully choose my own circle. I gave her a white lie "I do." I think she knew about me lying anyway, so what's the point? She then asked, "Do you really only have Jinyoung-ssi as your friend?" I looked down for a bit since I was a bit hesitant to answer but I replied, "It was because of Hyesul. I feel like I have a bad omen effect for always having him as my classmate or schoolmate. No matter how I switched schools.. SNU was the 7th one I switched and he is still there. He threatens anyone that whoever befriends me gets hurt." She showed me a concerned look yet still asks a question that confuses her.
"They could've caught him doing that to you, right?" I replied, "Filthy rich people have the right to deny that. They'll pay to get away with things they do not want to get caught up with." I continued, "I wondered why he is not at the mental hospital yet." She giggled at it, covering her mouth. I looked at her and said, "I get how it feels to not have any friends. But having a brave person like him, was enough. Moreover, you're here. I'd consider you as one." I closed both of her hands as we stopped in the middle of our walk. I gave her a smile as an assurance that I am just fine with him and her. Even with Ttalgi, I'm happy with it. I hope I can assure her that way.
"Pabo, looking at you right now made me wanna look away. It hurts me.", she replied. I giggled while I still had her hands closed altogether. "I'll try.. accepting your other self. I'll try and put an effort into it", I said. I feel like it's Mina who gets to see my fragile side. Of WHO really I am. But was I selfish for not doing the same thing to Hyung? I feel bad about it because I often lie to him, so he doesn't worry about a single thing. His annoying presence was enough to fill the room with colors, instead of a plain black and grey.
"You don't have to force yourse-", I cut Mina off when I was about to tell her something, "No. I will really try it.." He then blurted out the last words, "... for you." She looked at our hands and said, "Are we ever going to continue walking our way out or not?" Oh, have I dazed at her for a bit? Oh well, I'm not sure why the butterflies in my stomach are moving too much. I got so excited just by looking at her. She really was so beautiful, she definitely got a really good title for calling her an elegant princess. She really was, that I could just giggle it off. I replied, "Yeah, let's go. They're waiting for us." We then continued to walk our way back.
But before that, I whispered to Mina, "I'll let you know what my feelings were, once the time comes. I don't expect much from your answer, that's why take your time to gather your thoughts too. Let's have an enjoyable date later in the afternoon. I kissed her on her cheeks as a gift, in advance. I started to walk only to see that Mina was walking behind and looking down, probably turning into a tomato after that. I wouldn't blame her, if she did the same, I would have probably done the same thing towards her.

(Jinyoung's P.O.V)

"Chae, are you up for another round?" I asked her while panting. "I'm fine with it, but you look tired", Chaeng replied. I told her that it's part of the exercise to feel tired, but then she brought up that they've already played it for the 8th time. "Do you really want to be that healthy to the point you'll overexert yourself, Oppa?" Chaeng raised a concern, well, her worrying about me is enough. Maybe I'll stop for now. "Well okay, I'll stop. Do you want ice cream for midnight snacks?" I asked her for a treat. I think she was staring at the skies for a bit and hadn't heard what I was saying.
"Chaeng, do you want to eat some ice cream?" She just came back to her senses and looked at me then said, "Oh y-yeah, sorry about that. It's just that every time I look at the skies, they are just so beautiful that I was in the mood to paint them", she replied. I look at it and yeah, it really is. The stars, even a shooting star. "Wait, did I just see a shooting star", I asked. I thought she saw it when she replied, "Wait, really?? I couldn't see it!" Haha, I love this version of her. She's cute when she behaves like a kid, who has seen the world before her eyes for the first time. She surprises me.
"I'll buy one now. Do you want to tag along", I asked. She then nodded. Until we heard the bell from the gate, it was just actually Y/N and Mina-ssi. I called for them and asked, "where did both of you go?" Y/N looked at me and whispered, "I think I'll just share it with you when you're ready." I replied, "Wait, are you two already dating? Wasn't it like one or two weeks when you two met? You all are going so fast!" Y/N then punched me in my chest, well, that hurts. "Hey, what's up with that? Wasn't it true?" He then pouted and replied, "Hey, it wasn't like that. It's true that I'm going on a date later, but even if I want to make her my girlfriend, it's impossible when there are a lot of gays out there who are attracted to her."
I was shocked when he replied to that, so I teased him a bit; "Aigoo, did our Y/N grow up now? Did you just get jealous?" He said, "Yah! I don't go to that stage right away, even if I wanted to. It's just having fun, what's wrong with that?" He showed me a disgusted look and I laughed it out. I told his 'partner', "Mina-ssi, take care of him well. He's a really shy kid." But I was curious so I asked her this; "By the way, aren't there a lot of really hot guys and gays out there? Out of them all, you picked Y/N. That's surprising." It seems like Mina-ssi is hesitating to tell me for a bit but she then gave an odd reply with a smirk in her face, "Time will tell. I'm sure you could tell when you are in love with THAT particular person."
Holy.. does she know? Was I that obvious? I'm.. That smug face of her tells everything! "Chae, what are you doing?" Showed her a panic look while she was just standing, looking at her phone and looked at me when I called for her name. While I saw the other two giggling and I said, "Yah! Stop laughing at me like that, you two lovebirds. Go back inside." I was looking like a tomato after they teased me. Y/N seemed like he was changing for her. What a good time for them. I wouldn't be surprised if they both are in a relationship. That would've been really funny. Ironic.
Well, "Chae, come. Let's go outside and buy some ice cream, and maybe other sweets?" She just replied when she looked back at me again after being so busy watching her phone, "Oh uhm, let's go then. I'm a bit hungry." Oh so eating snacks from earlier wasn't enough? I giggled just by thinking that Chae is a big eater. That's actually really bold. Well, I can't help but her presence has been making me feel relaxed. I feel so comfortable with her, around. Since we share the same hobbies, we have some traits from Y/N too, which are not difficult to hang along with.

I closed the door inside the house. Her and I went to my room and asked, "Don't you think he's odd?" She then nodded and I asked, "What do you think he's up to?" She looked at me and said, "Don't you see it on him yet?" I looked at her confusedly and she looked disappointed. "I thought you knew your brother well." Uhm, yeah I do. But I don't know what's up with him acting like that out of nowhere.
She seemed really disappointed but still decided to spill the beans anyway, "It's because your brother loves Chaengie!" I was shocked, wait huh. Really? I asked, "How did you even guess that? I mean it's possible but didn't they just meet?" It seemed like she was annoyed with my response and said, "Idiot, there's this thing called 'love at first sight'. That's what happened to your brother." She paused for a bit then continued, "I can't blame your brother though. Chaengie has also attracted numerous guys out there, but he's different."
She giggled. I love it. It makes me wanna giggle too, but I get a bit shy about it. "Mina, there's something I'm curious about." She replied, " What is it this time? This is why you need to go out more often." God, stop teasing me that way. "Do you mind if I guess what creature you are.. if you're not a human?" At first, Mina was hesitating and her reaction says it, otherwise. "I won't tell you whether it's right or wrong. Guess whatever you can think off, you'll only run out of ideas." Instead of being pissed about it, she giggled about it while her eyes had a hint of worry.
Did I guess that right? Is she worried I might guess it correctly? She threw a pillow at me saying, "I'm not worried, you idiot. You're annoying." The giggle she had done earlier, turned into an annoyed expression. I think I only knew a few supernatural creatures. Uhm.. "Wait so are you a vampire then?" She confessed the truth that I won't ever forget about, "Your Ttalgi is a vampire. Not me." Huh? "W-what? She doesn't drink blood though", I got confused so I asked. "That's her nature. There are three types of vampires; natural-born, venomism, and atropolypx."
I'm surprised about her answer and I think I'm somewhat interested in learning about it. "Woah, I'm actually interested now that you mentioned it. Can you tell me more about them?" Mina then coldly replied, "How about you go to sleep? I'm tired." Before she left, I immediately grabbed her hand and said, "Just this one time, I swear." She ticked my forehead and saying that she's tired for the entire day. And that, she badly wants to sleep. I told her, "Fine, but can you share it tomorrow?" I said it with excitement until she replied, "No, go to sleep. I'm sleeping at the sofa."
"Wait no, don't you sleep at the sofa. Sleep at the bed. I'm going to sleep there", I said. She replied, "What do you mean? I'm sleeping in here, I don't want to sleep besides you." What? I thought you want that, did I think about dirty stuff too much? She then grabbed a pillow and threw it at me again, saying, "Stop thinking about them. Literally, I'm going to sleep at the sofa now." She is so stubborn and so, I did not hesitate to voice out and said, "Mina, please." I pleaded her without realizing that I did an aegyo. Oh god, that was embarrassing. I saw her blushing and she weakly replied, "Fine. Sleep at the sofa, I'm going in there." She then pushed while slapping my shoulders asking me to get out. Geez, this girl can't wait, could she?
"In that case, good night and see you tomorrow, Mina." I gave her a good night yet she didn't reply back. That's so cold, I just want to hear it back from her. I'm gonna sleep and wait for later.
