At Saunders Tankery field, the crews wait together for their drivers to bring their tanks out for training
"Hey Alisa, do you think we stand a chance?" Helmet-chan asked
"Frankly, I don't know. This is a big team. With close knit crews." Alisa replied, skepticism in her tone
"Either way, we gotta win! Let's bring this home for Saunders!" Amy erupted grinning with glee
Alisa's tank rounds the corner, Simone pops her head out of the driver's hatch
"Let's just hope we don't get demolished." In her signature emotionless tone
"Killjoy."
They say in unison
Alisa turns and says
"Hey, where's Lee?"
Meanwhile, Lee and Kay are discussing things in a small, temporary commander's tent
"You don't have to worry yourself you know?" Lee said comforting Kay
"I do, I'm just getting kinda stressed out. What if we don't win?" She rambled on
Lee leans in hugging her
"Either way, I'm with you. Always."
He whispered with her in his arms
They both stand there silent as Kay returns the hug
Kay let's out a soft sigh
"Alright then. Let's go"
She says letting go of him
Timeskip
"These are training rounds right" Helmet-chan said, weighing a shell in her hands
"Yep, accurate weight and strong enough to pen like a normal shell"
Alisa answered closing the commanders hatch
"I'm itching to shoot!" Lee said invigorated
"Calm down cowboy~!" Amy replied jokingly, loading a magazine into her machine gun
A shell whizzed by their tank, scrapping the side of the turret
"7:30!" Alisa screamed getting a visual
The turret spun, angling in a way that the next shell bounced upwards
"You're loaded!" Emily shouted
Lee aimed down sight, locking on to the enemy M4A1's side and firing
"It's down."
Lee said as he took a breath
"I'm loading another one, just in case"
Emily said reaching for the ammo rack
"I'm surprised you hit that! They were like, half a football field away?"
Alisa said reentering the tank
"Adrenaline?"
Lee shrugged
A loud bang went off as the tank came to screeching halt, a shell flew by hitting a tree it to block the way forward
"Firefly!"
Lee shouted
"2:35! Two of them!"
Alisa announced
"Uggnh!"
Simone shifted the tank to a hard to penetrate angle
PoV:The two tanks
Naomi blew up her bubblegum
"Missed? That's new"
"Shell loaded, ma'am"
The second tank fired, bouncing off the turret
"You aren't bouncing this"
Naomi said, narrowing her sights on the tank
Lee fired a shot, rocking Naomi's tank, causing damage to the sights
"You conniving little weasel"
Naomi said blowing another bubble
"We have to withdraw to fix the damage to our sight ma'am!" Her loader barked at her
The second tanks track gets shot off, disabling it
"One down, one to go." Lee said aiming the turret back at Naomi's Firefly
"Loaded!"
Emily said with a smile of confidence
Lee breathed in and fired
"Bang~"
The shell burst out of the barrel as Naomi's tank attempted to retreat and repair, the shell pierced the turret disabling it
"Done. And. Dusted!"
Alisa shouted in joy
The crew cheered with excitement, even Simone had a little fist pump, and a few hours after the practice match concluded, ending another day
