Empires SMP POV
Mumbo came to collect Grian's cats from Pix. Scott and Shubble were playing with them.
"Heyo" Mumbo came into the main room.
"Hey Mumbo. What's up" Zloy waved to him.
"Nothing much, I've just come to get Gri's cats"
"Do they have to go??" Scott complained. They've been good company for his rants about empire's stuff.
"They do belong to Grian, Scott" Katherine said walking into the room.
"I'm sure Gri won't mind if you were to visit him to see them anytime you want"
"How would you know that?" Shrub asked. (Shrub - Shubble)
"Grian is injured, and X is a protective father so he's most definitely grounded. And Grian hates being grounded," Mumbo explained, "he loves being around his friends"
"Can I at least help you take them over?" Scott asked
"Sure" Mumbo appreciated the help, cats, specifically Maui didn't like him very much.
"Question. Oli walked into the room and said.
"Okay shoot"
"Why is Grian injured? And does it have something to do with your Admin killing another admin twice"
"You saw the chat huh?"
"Yeah. So?"
"You're gonna have to ask G or X about that I'm afraid" Mumbo responded thinking it's not his place to share that.
"I'm coming over to Grian's with you I guess"
"That's fine, the more the merrier, by the way where are the rest of your members, you all are never in the same place"
Katherine took a deep breath to say where everyone was, "Sausage hangs out with Keralis most of the time."
"Pix is resting since the bookshelf crashed on top of him"
"Jimmy and Fwhip are probably arguing about something somewhere"
"Joel and Lizzie are hanging out in a bedroom doing who knows what"
"And we're here, so that's everyone"
"Minus Joey, he's possessed so he got left behind" Scott said
"Possessed?" Mumbo looked at them confused.
"There's currently an evil demon on our server, and hes trying to take over"
"Damn"
"So off to Grian's, anyone else coming other than Oli and Me" Scott changed the topic of conversation. He picked up Maui like a baby, making sure he was comfortable. Mumbo picked up Pearl doing the same. They started to walk outside with Oli following them.
"Have fun, be safe, you probably know the rest" Zloy called out leaving the room and walking into where Pix was,
"You're still trying to contact your server?
"There's still no signal. Something must've happened on the other end"
"There is Xonorth and Joey sooo?"
"We have to get home eventually, we can't just stay here forever you know"
"I know that. And we will get home. In the meantime, let's just have some fun."
"I can't have fun until I at least figure out how to access the server"
"How many technical brainiacs are on this server, ask for some help if you're that desperate"
"They'll be too busy"
Zloy rolled his eyes and walked out the door. He's going on an adventure to ask someone to help Pixl because Pix was driving him crazy. Or he's at least gonna get them to help him force Pix to take a break.
ZloyXP: Hey Doc?
DocM77: What's up?
ZloyXP: You Busy..?
DocM77: Nahh. Why?
ZloyXP: I need some help with something
DocM77: sure. Where are you.
ZloyXP: I think I've managed to get to Spawn.
DocM77: near the farm? Drip-Leaf Bridge? TFCs house?
ZloyXP: uhh I'm next to a glass box.
DocM77: oh yeah that. Okay I'm on my way.
ZloyXP: Thanks Doc.
DocM77: Anytime.
Technoblade: see Ranboo he's not scary.
Ranboo: Have you SEEN him??
DocM77: ha
BdoubleO100: Doc? Scary? Now that's a good joke.
DocM77: don't make me come over there.
Xisuma: no threats in chat Doc.

Technoblade: I feel like duelling you Mr DocM77.
DocM77: gimme a time, I have an arena for that specific reason.
Technoblade: I'll let you know.
Zloy waited for Doc to arrive. He didn't take long to fly over.
"Hey Zloy"
"Hey Doc, thanks for meeting me here"
"So what is it that you need help with?"
"First a quick question"
"Okay"
"Are there any hermits who know a lot about technical stuff"
"Redstone or in general"
"Both. And IT stuff as well"
"There's a few"
"Any names you can give me. Just anyone you can think of"
"Me, X, Cub, Mumbo, Impulse. Doesn't seem like it but Grian knows a fair amount. Pix knows a lot too. Why do you ask("
"Pix is driving me crazy, he's been trying to access his server but there's no signal and he's worried something happened on the other end"
"Are there any members left on the other side?"
"Two. One was an uninvited guest and the other is a simp for said uninvited guest"
"Uninvited guest how? Like a Watcher type thing or something else?"
"More like a demon."
"That's interesting."
"You think you could help him chill out about this. He won't let himself have fun until he gains access to his server."
"I can try, we might be needing help"
DocM77: Hey Cub, Impulse. Y'all Busy?
Cubfan135: not really what's up.
ImpluseSV: nahhh. Did you need something?
DocM77: can you bring come to spawn, where the shulker used to be.
ImpulseSV: on my way.
Cubfan135: coming, it might take me a while, I'm over at total chaos.
DocM77: it's fine. Thanks guys

"What's up Doc" Cub said flying in just after Impulse.

"Pix needs our help"
"With what?"
"He's driving me crazy, he's been trying to access his server but there's no signal and he's worried something happened on the other end" Zloy explained again.
"He cant chill out unless he reaches the other side so Zloy asked us to help him"
"How are we supposed to help him?"
"He hasn't taken a single break for like 2 days now"
"That's how we help me, force him to take a break"
"He's been held up in a room at Keralis' base messing around with his communicator"
"If he pulls the wrong wires, he's gonna give himself a shock"
"Communicators can do that?"
"Yeah." Doc said, "y'all didn't know?"
"No?" Cub smiled awkwardly.
"That's new information for all of us Doc." Zloy said.
"Huh, I guess I'm the only one who's messed around with it before"
"Why'd you mess around with it?"
"It was glitching a lot back in season 6, I think the update did something to some of the communicators"
"Oh yeah I remember that. Iskall and Grian were complaining about it. I think they completely took theirs off since it started to shock them so often." Impulse remembered that incident in Season 6.
"I saw one of Iskall's reactions, it shorted out his eye, that was funny" Doc smiled remembering it.
"He could still see right?" Zloy asked.
"Yeah he can still see, just half of his vision went completely black. I helped him fix it once I finished laughing" Doc said.
"We're getting really off topic, let's go help Pixlriffs" Cub said getting their attention back on track.
-when they got to Pix-
"You're literally in the same spot I left you in" Zloy complained, worried about his friends mental health.
"That's unhealthy dude" Cub mentioned.
"You need a break bud" Impulse said
"I'm fine. I feel fine" Pix said not even looking up from messing with his communicator.
"Why do you think I brought these 3 back with me"
"I don't know dude. I don't know how you think"
"Dude how long have you been working in this?" Impulse asked, concerned.
"I don't know, a few hours".
"It's been like 2 days" Zloy corrected him.
"When Grian came here to get his cats, when do you think that was"
"That was a couple of hours ago." Pix looked confused on why they asked him that. But it also reminded him to ask a question.
"That was yesterday I think, so definitely more than a couple of hours"
"Are you sure" Pix asked finally looking up from his tinkering.
"We're sure."
Pix closed the back of the communicator to open chat, he backread anything and everything he's missed.
"I just wanna know something Pix" Doc said
"Hmm?"
"Did your communicator shock you?"
"Maybe a couple times"
"Which wire did you pull out?"
"I think it was purple."
"You're gonna have to fix that or it's gonna keep shocking you"
"How did you-?
"It happened in Season 6."
"Fair enough i guess" Pix sighed, not wanting to question that further. It's something that happened off camera so it wasn't covered in any Recaps.
"So come on get up and let's get you into the fresh air. You're literally the only one who hasn't been outside within your entire server" Zloy ordered.
Pixl stood up but then something in chat made everyone freeze, and their communicators go absolutely crazy. Everyone was confused. Some of the empire's folk were scared or upset, some specifically Shubble and Scott were a little angry.
Xørñøth joined the game.
"Who in the fuck is this?"
"Language please, X will see this and investigate." Impluse said, trying to reassure himself at the same time.
"X is busy flying back and forth with these freaky earthquakes and people's injuries."
"How is he by the way? Grian I mean."
"We don't know"
"Let's go over to him, it gets you outside"
-with Grian Mumbo Oli And Scott-
((This is happening at the same time as the thing with Zloy Doc Impulse Cub and Pix.))
+Knock knock+
"Thank god. Come in!" Grian happily shouted.
"Hey G, here are your cats, plus some company"
Mumbo let Pearl down and Scott did that same thing with Maui. They both ran to Grian, walking in-between his legs then ran to their beds.
"Thanks Guys. I appreciate it"
"Oli had a question if you don't mind"
"Not at all. What's up?"
"Why are you injured? And do you know why your admin killed that other admin, twice?"
"No one's told you?"
"To be fair it's the first time they've asked. X told the hermits something vague when Etho asked." Mumbo explained.
"Am I allowed to tell them?" Grian questioned.
"Why are you asking we clearly don't know the answer and you know that" Mumbo stated.
"Lemme ask X then" Grian opened his communicator and typed in chat.
Grian: hey X.
Xisuma: yeah?
Grian: if people question how I got injured or why you killed Dream twice, am I allowed to tell them?
Xisuma: that's your decision Grian. Your injuries your decision.
Grian: what about the other thing?
Xisuma: I don't mind if you wanna tell them. Im not proud of what I did but I would do it again in order to protect my hermits. Okay?
Grian: okay, thanks Suma.
Xisuma: anytime.
"I guess that answers your question"
"So? What happened?"
"I needed glass to make some repairs on my windows, I didn't have any nor did I have any sand whatsoever" Grian paused to breathe, "so I asked Scar if I could go through his storage system, he was fine with it"
"Enter the problem" Mumbo crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.
"Dream saw me, he walked up to me, we talked. He was very stand off ish. He made my very wet feathers stand on end."
"You did this while it was raining?"
"I really needed glass, my first intention was to get my cats back from Pix but then it started raining. Heavy. Anyway, he mentioned something he shouldn't know. He sounded so threatening and angry. I laughed and pretended I didn't know what he was talking about. He really didn't like that and got mad"
"Enter the injuries"
"He then proceeded to knee me in the stomach and punch my face a couple of time. Then he left me there curled up, wet, cold and in pain until X and Joe came"
"Why are your wings injured then?" Scott asked confused.
"My windows shattered during that earthquake thing, quite a few of those shards landed in wings. Hence why I needed the glass in the first place"
"Question G?" Mumbo said putting his hand up.
"Mmm?"
"Did X ground you?"
Grian sighed, slightly annoyed he asked because he definitely already knew that answer, "Yes Mumbo. He did"
Mumbo smiled. "See what I mean?"
"What did you tell them??" Grian asked, curious.
"All I said was X is protective and probably grounded you and I was right" Mumbo smiled.
Grian glared at him.
"Can I go play with your cats" Scott nervously asked, not wanting to be a bother.
"Go nuts. You can feed them if you want, it's around that time"
"Yes!"
"You'll see the chest that has their food, it's labeled."
Scott walked over to the chest labeled 'Cat Food', opened it and then the cats came running up to him, meowing a lot, they knew what time it was. Grian and the others chuckled as Scott awwed at how cute his cats were.
Then something in chat made everyone freeze, and their communicators go absolutely crazy. Everyone was confused. Some of the empire's folk were scared or upset, some specifically Shubble and Scott were a little angry.
