Jura Forest
Canaat Mountains, Cave of the Chaos Dragon
Nighttime
Narrators POV

Four people traveled through the cave, following the one Infront to wherever he was taking them.

Uri: This, is where the Chaos Dragon is sealed. It's been trapped and contained here for several thousands of years, and the seal is as good as it was when it was made.

The cave they entered was... Eerie, if anything.

The walls were blood red, as if blood was tainted on them just now. The rocks were glowing crimson red too, adding more to the eerieness. If that wasn't enough, a few red spider Lily's were also present in the area.

The entire cave was filled with a sickening aura of maliciousness, one that almost made Shadow and Hoku throw up the moment they had entered. Anyone who entered this cave would feel sick to the very core of their soul, as if something inside here is waiting to just devour them whole.

Shadow: I don't like this place...

Her danger instincts were running wild, telling her to flee this cave immediately as if a voice was warning her inside her mind.

Hoku was no less different, constantly growling ever since he had entered the cave.

All of them were on constant guard under the extreme pressure of the most malevolent being in all of existence.

Uri: This, is it.

Finally, entering a giant area filled with the most leaking of this aura...

There is laid on the ground, the giant skeleton of the dragon that wrecked havoc throughout the entire world. A being whose malevolence knew absolutely no bounds.

It is surrounded with red spider Lily's, the rocks around it are glowing crimson red and making an illusion as if blood is tainted on the walls. The grass is grey in color, it's life long gone for who knows how long. In the middle, where it appears asleep, it is laying in a small pond of blood red water.

All in all, this dragon must love the color red.

Uri: It has an ability known as Anti-Skill, one that cancels out any sort of physical attacks or magical attack so long as both aren't used in synergy. The barrier is a mix of my physical aura, aswell as the maintained yet decaying magic of the Dragonoid that sealed him.

Uri explained the situation, providing more insight to the dragons abilities.

Anti-Skill is something of unknown origins. Nobody realizes where it came from, neither has it been classified as a Skill as it goes against any definition of a skill. It is an ability labeled as something not meant to exist, yet here it is being used by the Chaos Dragon.

As a Sealing Dragon, whose whole point is to seal targets and lock them up, Uri has maintained the barrier on this dragon for thousands of years. The child of this being, containing it's father and keeping it secured in isolation so it doesn't wreck havoc again.

Rimuru: Will the barrier shatter at any point?

Knowing the fact the Chaos Dragon indirectly affects Uri, there is the fear of the fact that Uri might not be able to maintain the barrier anymore.

If that happens... Then god forbid.

Uri: Hmmmmmm.... I'd say about another 60-70 thousand years, before it shatters and he has to be re-contained.

"That... Is a long time" Rimuru thought. It's gonna take a veeeeeeeery long time for this thing to escape.

Shadow and Hoku were just observing the sleeping beast Infront of them, both instinctively shivering out of fear of what they see.

Rimuru: Can I devour it?

...

Uri: Eh?

Shadow: Eh?

Hoku: Eh?

They all look at Rimuru like he's some sort of idiot, even his own subordinates.

Uri: What possessed you to bring this up, younger brother?

Oh right, he started calling Rimuru his younger brother because of the blessing they possess.

Rimuru scoffs a little, not liking being called younger brother... But he answers.

Rimuru: I have an ability that allows me to devour other people and steal their abilities. It works best when the target cannot fight back, so I have a very high chance of success to devour this thing.

Shadow and Hoku widen their eyes in realization, so that's what he used back there to devour all those dragons.

Uri seems a bit surprised, and gives it a thought...

Uri: Hmmmmmm... Meh, what could go wrong?

He shrugs, causing Hoku and Shadow to look at him with wide mouths in disbelief.

Shadow: Oi Oi, alot of things can go wrong!

Hoku: Exactly! If the process fails, the entire world will be plunged into chaos.

Both voice their objection to Rimuru's little plan.

Uri, however...

Uri: Well, this thing is pretty much dormant. If Rimuru's ability works as he said, then I don't see anything about to go wrong. Besides, this guy is quite the shitty father and I don't mind if he died right now.

He seems carefree, not giving two damns about what Rimuru is going to do.

Rimuru jumps towards the barrier, stopping Infront of it and raising his hand.

Rimuru: Welp, here goes nothin.

A black swirl forms inside his hand, extending towards the barrier and covering it in a sort of purple mist.

Uri watches in curiousity, wondering what skill Rimuru is using right now...

Rimuru: Gluttony...

The entire sphere is taken over by the purple mist, devouring the barrier alongside the chaos dragon inside of it.

In just a few seconds, the Chaos Dragon dissapears and nothing is left of where it slept.

Shadow and Hoku stare in shock, and Uri is no different as he expected more of a challenge...

[Confirmed, Individual has achieved Unknown Skill {Anti-Skill}]

Uri: Well, this is quite the interesting turn of events if I do say so myself...

Jura Forest
Canaat Mountains
Dawn
Narrators POV

Authorrrrrrrr!

(A.N: What?)

Why is it my POV again?

(A.N: Because I said so)

So, what happened after the Chaos Dragon was devoured?

Well, pretty simple.

Uri still had the black substance attached to his side, but Rimuru devoured it with ease and practically cured Uri of his disease. He even gave his own slime cells to repair the parts lost, and Uri turned those cells into his own by infusing his aura into it.

They spent the final day as they had planned, with Rimuru completing the final step of his fighting style with his Naginata.

The Anti-Skill was quite easy to control, it didn't require much practice since he has {Great Sage}. All he had to was apply it to his weapon, and the rest would be taken care of.

However, there was source of energy he couldn't identify. The barrier wasn't made up of magicules, it was rather made of some sort of bright particle energy that shone as brightly as a star. Rimuru wasn't able to tell what it was even with the usage of {Great Sage}, but he did put a parrerell processer on it to eventually find out what it is.

That aside, Uri and Rimuru also had a spar... It didn't end well for Rimuru, the Dragon Lord was too much for him to handle. It didn't even take 2 minutes for Rimuru to have his ass lying the ground all bruised up when the spar started, he couldn't even keep up with the man and lost before he knew it.

Not to mention, the only reason he was even able to last that long was due to the brand new Anti-Skill he had achieved. Without that, he would've lost at the start.

All in all, it was established that Uri is not one to be messed with and definitely the strongest out of them. Ain't called Dragon Lord for nothing, especially one that kept the Chaos Dragon sealed for so long.

Aside from that, nothing eventful really happened. Rimuru mostly focused on the particles that were used to create the barrier, trying to figure out what it is quite intently and eagerly.

Rimuru and Uri began sharing the same last name, completing the little family of three with a dead dad. Basically, both of them are orphans now by any definition.

Anyways, Uri decided to join the squad and travel around with them. (Much to Rimuru's dismay)

So, where will they be heading?

Dwargon, that's where.

Shadows POV

So...

I think masters quite a fool.

He just ate the damn Chaos Dragon without a care in the world!

I know it's pointless to dwell in what ifs, but when faced with a being like that you should expect anything. That beast's rampage is already feared even by the newer generations, god forbid it actually came into reality.

Well, atleast that Dragon Lord guy was prepared.

Now that I mentioned him, he's quite strong!

Like very strong! Even Rimuru-Sama didn't stand a chance against him, much less all three of us. He defeated us all before we even realized it, quite effortlessly too. At first I thought he wouldn't be much of a fighter since his entire arsenal consists of sealing off other beings, but he appears to be very skilled in close quarter combat with his claws.

Well, that aside, Rimuru-Sama was able to complete the last step of his fighting style. Uri-Sama helped a little, but it was mostly Rimuru-Sama's own doing.

Now, we are heading towards the country known as Dwargon. I've only heard about it, I never exactly got the chance to see it tho. Apparently, it's this giant fortress located inside a mountain that is damn near impossible to penetrate. The front is heavily guarded, and ambushing from behind is not an option due to all the wild Arch Dragons behind.

It's one of the superpowers of the entire world, an powerful economic neutral country.

We have been traveling by foot, mostly us running towards the place at high speeds. We should be able to reach there in a few hours, if not a day.

...

I still believe Rimuru-Sama is an idiot, and you can't tell me otherwise.

Rimuru's POV

Goddammit...

I already hate the company I had previously... And now this dragon wants to follow us around too.

I can't even do anything about it, he's way stronger then me. I learnt that the hard way, got my ass clapped by him and barely put up a fight. Honestly, this whole ordeal just makes things worse for me.

If only I could deny his company...

Uri: What's going on inside your mind, brother?

Ah shit, I forgot he wouldn't stop calling me "brother". Cheeky if I say so myself, but I agreed to it nonetheless and it's my fault.

That aside, he really has a knack to focus on whether a person is thinking or not... The last day, he wouldn't stop trying to read my thoughts and it's fucking annoying.

Rimuru: Nothing of importance, Uri Onee-Sama.

But, I will admit, I respect his strength.

Seems like it's some natural instinct as a monster, which makes me respect him to begin with.

I still don't like his company tho.

Uri's POV

Hoh...

I must say, my little brother here is quite the interesting type.

A slime that has gained sentience eh? First time in thousands of years of existence that I am seeing this, never thought I'd see the day this appeared Infront of my eyes.

Not to mention, he's hella strong for someone of his species. He may have lost to me quite badly, but he lacks battle experience so it makes sense.

Since he absorbed that shitty good for nothing father of mine, he has obtained his Anti-Skill ability. That can be used as a direct counter for any sort of magic, even that of an Ultimate Skill. If he experiences real time battle, and learns through fighting others, I can genuinely see him fighting Ultimate Skill wielders toe to toe.

Fighting capabilities aside, he's pretty aggressive... It's honestly cute, like a child throwing tantrums. Unlike that tho, he just silently rages about it in the inside. He may try to hide it... But, it's pretty obvious to anyone looking. What a nice little brother I have... I'll make sure to protect him.

Anyone who dares to hurt him, mentally or physically, will suffer my wrath.

That aside, I look forward to his growth.

Oh look, we have arrived at Dwargon.

Hmmmmm, I can sense a few of my kin up there... Meh, not important.

Narrators POV

Author, this is the third time I am-

(A.N: I'll pay you triple)

Deal.

So, what happened when they arrived?

Shadow: Oh...

Hoku: It appears we aren't the only ones that decided to come here.

An old face was standing outside the gate, the same ogre Rimuru had rescued by naming.

Haruto had also noticed them, including Rimuru.

Haruto: Oh, hey... Who's this?

He looks towards Uri, looking at the new face Infront of him.

Uri simply waves as a sign of greeting, before introducing himself.

Uri: Uri, I am but a mere human noble.

He lied straight out of his mouth, only revealing his name.

Haruto noticed something was off about the person Infront of him, considering the fact that Rimuru of all people would most certainly not want a human to follow them around.

Haruto: I see... So, are you here to search around Dwargon?

Rimuru: Mhm.

Haruto had eventually grown bored in the Jura Forest, so he sought a new source of entertainment. He had faced countless foes such as the Lizardmen, the Gozu and Mezu, and even the Dryad's. Yet, none of them were a match to him as a simple magic strike was enough to defeat them.

So, here they are, right outside Dwargon as the sun sets. He was wearing a sort of hood above his head, whilst also using his hair to cover his horns inorder to not draw any attention towards him.

Shadow had changed her hair to complete black, removing the purple tips in the end. She had shortened her fangs Incase someone did somehow notice her mouth agape, which was quite unlikely.

Hoku had entered Rimuru shadow for obvious reasons, and Uri still wore his clothes.

Rimuru: Uhhhh... Do we have any money? They seem to be charging for the entry.

...

Awkward silence filled the air, as everyone present realized their pretty damn broke.

Uri: Well... What if we just teleport i-

???: Ho, what do we have here?

They all turn around to see a few humans walk up to them, one of them pointing their blades at Uri.

They seem to specifically be targeting Uri and no one else, ignoring the rest.

???: You seem like a noble, hand ova everything or you die here!

He points his sword at Uri's throat, attempting to intimidate the Dragon Lord. Hoku just watches from Rimuru's shadow, looking at the idiot sympathetically.

Shadow, Haruto, Uri and Rimuru look at one another.

Haruto: I believe the money they have will cover it.

Shadow: Agreed.

Long story short, they beat up the bandits and stole their money. The bandits were pretty stacked too, they held about a 1000 silver coins. Probably from all the robberies they committed, they threw the bodies away somewhere no one would find em later. (Yes, they fucking killed em)

Rimuru: Well, now that they are gone, we can get in.

The only problem was, they had to wait in a long ass line.

Well, better then being robbed.

By the time they had gotten to the gate, it was already night time...

Shadow: Why the hell did we have to wait on that line...

She whined and complained, but they just ignored her.

The moment they entered, they weren't expecting... This.

They expected the town to be quite and peaceful since it was the dead end of night, but it was the opposite.

The street lights were bustling, the people were running around from one place to another. Noble's and commoners alike were seen on the streets, going around from one place to another.

Overall, the scene wasn't something they expected...

Shadow immediately had stars in her eyes and started looking around, Haruto followed her to make sure nothing goes wrong. Rimuru and Uri just followed from behind, looking at the entire place.

Uri: I knew humanity had progressed alot, but I didn't think they got this far...

The last time he had made contact with human civilization, they were using metal tools and torches in the cities. Magisteel made items were incredibly rare, and only the best of the best could afford them.

Now, Magisteel and street lights have been placed around the entire area for all types to come and see.

Uri: Don't you agr-

Rimuru had already walked past Uri, not listening to a single thing the Dragon Lord had said.

The Dragon Lord simply pouted.

Uri: How cruel...

For the night, they had decided to rent a large hotel room in a nearby hotel on Dwargon. It costed them about 5 silver coins to stay each night, and another 5 for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner which totaled to about 20.

Ofcourse, Rimuru and Uri required no sustenance as they lived off of magical energy. Hoku technically, was feeding off of Rimuru's magic reserve so he didn't have to either. Shadow also lived off of magical energy, so Haruto was the only one that required to eat which saved alot of money.

They could live here for about a month and a half, after which they could decide to leave to another country or go back to Jura.

Uri wanted a change of environment, so he decided to explore Dwargon during the night and left the hotel. Although, he actually had different intentions...

Haruto did the same and went on to explore the entire area, wanting to find something...

Shadow just stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the softness of the bed like a total toddler, wiggling around and hugging the cushion. Rimuru also stayed, and watched Shadow be a toddler with a dull face. (Hoku also watched with the same face)

...

Haruto went on to find a gun for himself, one that didn't require him to create one using his magic.

His magic gun was powerful, no doubt... But the problem was the fact it was made out of magic, which could easily be countered if he got caught inside of a Anti-Magic barrier.

So, he wanted to look and find a gun that he could use without any worries of getting trapped using his magic gun. Rimuru lended him 40 silver coins, which should be more then enough to buy a gun.

And what better place to find one then in a place filled with blacksmiths? The blacksmithing side of Dwargon where all the weaponry was made, nothing where he can't get any weapon.

And he just found a good deal...

...

Uri approached the top of the mountains, looking around for his dragon kin that resided in the top.

He was specifically looking for Arch Dragons, the second highest of the dragons chain of evolution.

Since he's a dragon, he could understand dragonesian. As such, he could easily tell the plans of the dragons up here...

The plans of invading this country...

Seems like his juniors will need a little ass whooping to remind them of their place, especially when he's around.

Uri: Ah~ How long have I awaited to use these.

He pulled out his claws, and all hell unleashed.

...

So, a month had passed by the time they had arrived here.

Both Uri and Rimuru were in a restaurant, trying out some of the food in the shop to satiate their curiousity.

Uri was just sitting besides him, and Rimuru was eating slowly...

Suddenly.

Rimuru: Acho!

He sneezed...

But slimes don't sneeze...

Uri: Hm? Are you sick? But I don't think Slimes can get si-

He immediately gets cut off by his younger brother.

Rimuru: Someone is talking shit about me.
