It's not like she could do anything, it is worth noting that she was trained by her father and mother when she was younger, but still she can't really have a training match with the Uchihas they don't take her well, sighing she laid the bed before getting up and wandering around the house she and itachi shared, before hearing a soft knocking on the door, walking to the door she opened it then blinked seeing her mother in law.
"Oh. . .miss mikoto how are you?"
She said as she smiled at her.
"May I come in Naruto?"
She asked as Naruto thought about it.
"You may"
She said Stepping to the side as mikoto entered the house as Naruto closed the door behind her.
"Would you like some tea miss mikoto?"
She asked as mikoto hummed and nodded.
"Yes, please and thank you"
Mikoto said as Naruto lightly grabbed a tea pot and started filling it with water, then getting a few tea leaves and placing them in the pot as she started the stove top.
"So. . .Naruto how are you settling in?"
Mikoto asked as Naruto looked back at her.
"In what regard do you want to know how I am settling in?"
She asked as mikoto stared at her.
"In general"
Mikoto said as Naruto sighed softly.
"I guess. . .as well as I can. . .I can't shake the others looking at me like I am inferior to them, besides itachi seems to distain me for whatever reason I don't know what I expected, but regardless I put up with it to prevent a civil war, konohagakure can't bare a civil war right now, with the other villages able to leap at the chance to level konohagakure. . .just as they did to uzushiogakure it wouldn't be pretty at all. . ."
She said turning her gaze around and getting two cups.
"I know it's hard but the Uchihas take time to adjust to this, it was the same for izumi they eventually accepted her"
Mikoto said as Naruto sighed.
"Unlike her, I can't unlock the sharingan, I'm not a pure Uchiha or have half Uchiha blood in my veins to unlock it"
Naruto had said pouring a cup of tea before bringing it over to mikoto and made herself a cup of tea.
"I know you can't unlock the sharingan but that doesn't mean that you are not an welcoming addition to the Uchiha clan, you have the blood of the namikaze clan, and the greatest fuinjutsu clan to have existed along with their powerful chakra and can endure severe injuries"
Mikoto said as the blond haired female looked away.
"While that is true I don't know if that's something to contribute to the Uchiha clan at all, besides they are reintegrating with the village"
Naruto said lightly drinking the tea in her hands slowly.
"I still think that you should give the others time, shisui and Obito seem to adore you more often then not, in fact Obito might see you as a younger sister"
Mikoto said as Naruto hummed quietly while looking out of the window staring at the cloudy skies.
"Maybe but I don't know time needs to pass a bit before i am able to make an decision. ."
Naruto had said staring at the sky still before taking another drink, whilst praying for itachi's safety even though he's one of the intelligent Uchiha Shinobi in their era. . .
