Oakley moved his hand to my throat and put his thumb on my bottom lip. I took his thumb into my mouth, twirling my tongue around it.

"She loves all animals. She'd be happy if you got her a frog", I said making him chuckle.
"We'll find her a bird next week then. That fine with you?"

"No Oakley. You act like we're in a relationship. You're the one who wants to do all these things that couples do. You just can't come to the conclusion that we're not together Oakley."
His eyes saddened a little before they went dark.
"You know what you're right. We're not together", he said emotionless. "I'll do me and you do you. If it's not about Tiana I won't hit you up and you won't hit me up. You wanna be bitter, let's be bitter then."

"If it's not about Tiana I don't care", he said and walked out, slamming the door.

I eyed Oakley who was leaning against the wall and looking at his phone.
"You ready to go?", I asked after I stopped tickling her.

"Go get your stuff so we can go", I said before standing back up.
She took off to her room.
"My mom is coming next Saturday and she wants to spend some time Tiana", Oakley said breaking the silence.
"How long she staying?"
"Til Wednesday."
"I'll pack her some extra clothes", I hummed.
"I'm ready Mommy", Tiana said running to me.
"Ok. Make sure you tell your dad bye."
She walked over to Oakley and he picked her up.
"Bye daddy", she said and kissed his cheek.
"Bye princess", he said and kissed her all over her face. "I'll see you again Saturday."
"Yay", she giggled.
"Be good for your mommy alright?"
"I will", she said as he set her down.
