8 month Later
Tara POV
I felt a hard nudge to my belly making me groan. My eyes opened feeling a warm hand rub my belly affectionately. I smiled "You know your mommy hasn't got much sleep" Elijah whispered. I turned over looking at him. "I don't think the baby can hear you".
Elijah scowled playfully hovering over my huge belly. He kissed me on my lips making me laugh. "I told you no good morning kisses until I brushed my teeth". "You know I don't care about that". "Yea, yea, "I say dryly. "Now help me up," I said holding my hand out for Elijah. Elijah supported my back as I rolled up from the bed.
Groaning and wobbling I moved to the restroom. "I wish this baby would pop already" I shouted closing the restroom door. I screamed making Elijah come in. All of the objects were floating in mid-air. "It's doing it again" I shrieked. Elijah tried holding in a laugh putting his hands up in a calming motion.
"First calm down. You know every time you talk about the baby like that it does things". "Yea but the baby hadn't done it in a while," I said looking at myself in the mirror. "Okay. My precious baby please stop," I said nervously holding my belly. The objects fell to the ground making me look at Elijah.
"The baby's a prankster" Elijah laughed. I frowned leaning against the door and closing it. I move to the shower running the warm water as I took off my clothes. It had been eight months of dealing with my child moving objects and physically hurting me. I had also gotten close to Elijah.
After getting out of the shower I put on some slacks and a long sleeve shirt. I had started training with my dad every day to control my powers after breakfast. My mom would help me learn spells and Elijah helped me work with vampire agility. However, we didn't work a lot in between us making out and me getting tired because of my belly.
Coming downstairs I saw my mother and father sitting at the table while Elijah was cooking. There were some grapes on the island calling my name. Though Elijah didn't like it. Putting my mouth over my mouth hushing my parents I tipped toed to the counter. I grabbed a grape plopping it in my mouth. When I felt hands wrap around my belly.
The doorbell rang making my mother and father leave the room. "You're in trouble" Elijah whispered in my ear. I smiled as Elijah nibbled on my neck. I playfully hit him on the shoulder. "Stop it" I laughed. "Out of the kitchen," he said smacking me on the butt. My mother and father brought in a cargo box of stuff.
"Bryan brought more cargo," my father said. Elijah wiped his hands off with a napkin and l walked outside. Brayan is the guy who gets all of our groceries and clothes that we need for two weeks. My face is still plastered online and now there's a bounty.
Elijah POV
"Jhon and Ana look fine. I guess the elixir wI made healed them right up from that cold" Bryan smiled. Bryan was a werewolf cousin to Jackson. He was skinny with red hair. His skin was slightly tanned and he had freckles along his face.
"Thank you again for that," I said shaking his hand. "No problem, sir. I haven't gotten an official doctor yet" Bryan said closing the trunk. "Keep looking. The baby seems to be ready pop" I smiled thinking of this morning. "I will," Bryan said getting into his car. I watch him drive off and headed back into the house.
The food had gotten cooked and it seems everything was ready to eat.
Tara POV
After eating Elijah stayed back cleaning while my parents and I went outside. After these months we started using the barn for my practices. There were three round bullseyes six feet away from us. On the table, we're ten arrows.
Mumbling a spell that I learned from my mother the arrow began to float. I close my eyes picturing the arrow going through the bullseye. Only three out of the four bows ended up on the bullseye. The last bullseye was stuck in the barn door. "Ahh, look at you" my mom clapped squealing. "You have improved a lot," my father said hugging me from the side.
"Guys not all of them went into the bullseye," I said shrugging off my father's arm. Walking to the bullseye I collected each one. "Honey, it's fine. You're learning faster than what I did when I was your age" my mother explained. "My best isn't good enough. I need to protect myself and this baby. If... he.. ever comes how am I supposed to protect all of us" I began to yell.
My mother and father came close holding me. "You need to calm down. I promise if he comes we will protect you" My father held my cheeks as I cried. I nodded my head but froze looking down. Water dripped down my leg making a pool below.
"Mom" my voice cracked feeling the contraction. "What's wrong" my dad held me up. "She's in labor," my mother said. "ELIJAH" my mom yelled.
I'm in labor.
