After the Barcelona weekend is before the Monaco weekend. Racing through the tight street circuit where a brief mistake could cost you everything. Just brushing a wall, steering slightly too far or too little into a corner and you end up in the barrier. Still, the drivers love to race at this historical track and Daisy is excited as well. The timetable for this particular weekend will be a bit different than usual since the city still needs to function, but Daisy is sure it will not lead to any issues for the team.

Being back in the office means more time sitting in front of a screen instead of walking around, listening to different interviews and, making sure that neither Max nor the reporter says or asks anything inappropriate and while experiencing high-level racing.

Daisy would not have thought that Claire keeps being nice to her, but she brings the Finnish girl a cup of tea every morning and slowly Daisy starts to like the taste of herbs in the morning. She is still not sure why Claire is suddenly acting nice, but she also tries not to think too much about it and just enjoys it while it lasts. Maybe Claire will switch back to her mean behaviour quicker than Daisy thinks. But until this happens, they work side by side in their shared office and even went to get some lunch together. Daisy is sure they don't will be friends at the end of this internship, but at least they could no longer be something like enemies.

While Claire is not in the shared office right now Daisy does some last tasks for the day. Reading through an interview Max had earlier that day and which still needs to be approved by the PR team of RedBull before it could be released. Even though Daisy did this task several times already Vicky will always look over Daisy's work to make sure everything is okay.

"Daisy, do you have the plan for the media day ready?" It is Vicky's voice that rips Daisy out of her thoughts, and she lifts her head to look at her boss. The plan for the media day is a task that Daisy does for every race weekend now, slowly knowing about Max's likes and dislikes and Vicky does approve her structure, rarely changing anything, and that makes Daisy feel proud.

"Yes, and I already printed it out." Daisy smiles and reaches for her filing where she placed a printed version of her media day plan, but when she grabs the first sheet of paper it isn't the one, she printed out before, but something completely different. She looks at the filing but there is nothing more to be seen than the sheet of paper she already has in her hand.

"I am pretty sure I placed it here." Daisy frowns, wondering where the printed sheet has gone or did, she just forget to take it out of the printer. She looks to the side where the printer is located, but there is no sight of the printed-out media plan.

"You can also send me an email with it, I just want to have a look at it." Vicky smiles at her, not pressuring Daisy to have a printed version of the plan ready and Daisy nods, opening the files on her computer. She looks into the file she created for the Monaco weekend and her heart drops.

"I..." Daisy stutters, not knowing what to say and how this could happen. The file is not empty, but her document with the plan isn't in there either. She quickly types the title of the document into the search bar, but nothing pops up.

"Is something wrong?" Vicky asks, coming closer to take a look at Daisy's screen and the Finnish girl never felt more fear during her internship than right now. She created the file, saved it multiple times and even printed it out, but there is still no trace that she really did her work.

"The file is missing." Daisy manages to say and doesn't dare to look up into Vicki's face, where she is sure to see disappointment. How could this happen?

"Are you sure you did the task?" Vicky asks and for a moment Daisy does not know what to answer. Obviously, she did the task, checked it off her daily plan and she even remembered finishing it. Clicking on the print button and placing it on her filing, all of this and it is still missing.

"Of course, you should know that I always do my stuff by now." Daisy manages to say, trying to keep her voice calm, but she is a bit hurt that Vicky isn't well aware of the fact that Daisy always finishes her tasks on time.

"Well, no matter if you did it or not, you will stay today until the plan is finished. Do it again or find the file as long as I have it to check and correct by tomorrow morning." Vicky says with a stern voice and Daisy tries to speak up "But..." Vicky quickly interrupts her words.

"No buts Daisy. There is no need for any explanation, because it is only important for you to finish the work before its due date."

"I will work on it right now." Daisy says with a sigh, she wanted to say something else before, but swallowed it and decided it would not be a smart idea to argue with Vicky right now.

"Good, I'll see you tomorrow." Vicky says goodbye and Daisy mutters a response before her eyes fall back onto the screen of the computer. Let's start again and create a timetable for Monaco. She opens up the list with interviews Max has to fulfil and tries to remember in which order she placed them.

It is a much more difficult task than Daisy thought it would be. She thought after doing it once the second time would be quicker, but it is not. Usually, she follows the same scheme, but this time there are some restrictions from the newspapers and channels that want to speak with Max and Daisy has to build the other interviews around them. She tries different combinations, but she really can't find the perfect one she had before, so Daisy clicks the document away for a moment and tries to focus on her other task she was doing before. The interview also has a deadline, so Daisy just tries to focus on this one for a moment.

"Oh, you are still here?" It is the voice of Claire who rips Daisy out of her thoughts. She was sure Claire already left an hour ago, but it seems like the other intern was somewhere in this building. When Daisy looks up, she can see that Claire's hair is styled as perfect as always and it looks like she just put a fresh layer of makeup on. Well, that would explain where she went earlier.

"Yeah, the timetable for the media day got lost even though I am sure I placed it here and now the file is missing too." Daisy explains, pointing her hand at the empty filing to signalise her work is not where it's supposed to be.

"Are you sure you, did it? You look pretty tired and maybe you just forgot." Claire has a little frown on her face and honestly. Daisy is really tired and maybe, just maybe she did not do her task, just thought she had done it and crossed it off the list.

"Maybe." She sights and places her head in her hands for a moment. This day feels like it is going on for an eternity and Daisy would love nothing more than logging out of her account and going straight home into her bed. There is a headache forming behind her left eye, probably because she didn't drink enough, plus watching her screen all day long.

"I would stay and help you, but my dad waits for me to pick me up. But I will get you a new cup of tea." Claire offers Daisy with a smile and even though Daisy is sure Claire would not be a helpful hand for this task, it is nice that she offered it. "Thank you." There is an honest smile on Daisy's lips for a moment, but it drops as soon as Claire leaves the room. Let's continue with this hell of a time plan.

Daisy doesn't know for how long she is rearranging the plan for Max's media day, and she probably doesn't want to know. She massages her temples from time to time, trying to get rid of the stinging feeling, sips on her cup of tea which is already close to being an iced tea and just wishes to finish this as quickly as possible.

"What are you doing here?" Again, it is a voice that rips her out of her thoughts and this time Daisy is even more surprised than before. She is pretty sure Max shouldn't even be here today, but he is, and she doesn't know why. Honestly, she doesn't even care right now and maybe she is happy about him disrupting her thought process.

"This is my office? And I could ask you the same." Daisy looks at Max and waits for his explanation of why he is in her and Claire's office and more importantly why he wanted to sneak in here with the thought of no one being here.

"I am on a secret mission." Max grins cheekily and Daisy can't hold back the corners of her mouth from curling up into one too. "Of course, you are." She nods and simply continues with her task, because Max will probably leave, now that he knows she is still here, but he does not.

"Could you please stop staring at me?" Daisy asks Max and gives him a stern look. It distracts her that he does not look away, staring at her while she just wants to concentrate on finishing this task. She hates the feeling of being watched and hopes he will stop now.

"I could look at you forever." Is Max's answer and Daisy lifts her eyebrow. "Creep." She mumbles under her breath, but she can hear Max huff at her words. He sounds like a stalker and to be honest, Daisy had one stalker too much for her liking already.

"Can I help you?" Max asks and comes around the table to take a look at Daisy's screen. She just accepts her fate of Max being there and explains to him what she already did to Claire and Vicky.

"No, the timetable for the media day got lost and I will try to recreate it right now." And hopefully, succeed before I freak out. She adds in her head that this task is slowly driving her mad.

"But you already, did it?" Max concludes and even though he did nothing wrong Daisy feels anger bubbling in her stomach. She tries to swallow it down, not wanting to push Max away and so she takes a deep breath before speaking up again.

"Yes, but the printed version is no longer on my desk and the file is nowhere to be found."

"That's strange." Max frowns and looks like he wants to continue, but Daisy just brushes him off. "No matter what happened there, I need to fix it." Her eyes are back on the screen again and she creates another version of the media plan, hoping this one will be the correct one while Max is quiet for a moment.

"I keep you company." He decides, pulling Claire's chair closer to sit beside Daisy and take a look at the screen as well. Daisy's heart feels warm because he will keep her company, but she does not want him to stay long in the office as well.

"Max, you can really go home." She reassures him, but he simply shakes his head. "Let me help you." Daisy hesitates, she knows Max is good at planning things, but this is still her task, and shouldn't she be doing it by herself instead of forcing Max to stay longer as he needs to?

"Fine but keep your hands to yourself." She sights and her eyes wander back to the screen until she hears Max chuckle.

"I can't promise anything."

Big writers block here...needed several weeks to finish this chapter, because I couldn't type more than a few sentences every day.

Who wants a chapter where Max gives you an insight to his thoughts? If not we are going straight to Monaco.

Very grateful for your support. Please keep up with the votes and comments <3
