Jake's POV
"That's funny!" I chuckled, watching the TV show in my room. My laugh halted when something vibrated on my phone.
Ooh, that must be Mika.
I fished hands through my pocket and saw a notification at the screen.
Jongseong messaged you.
Ugh.
I grew confused, it's been more than an hour since Mika left here. It doesn't even take half an hour to get to the dorm.
"Why is she taking too long?" I scratched my head, scrolling in our conversation and seeing no new messages.
It's probably traffic. I thought and just continued watching first.
Yugio's POV
This girl is heavy as hell. I thought as I carried her to the van waiting on the other side of the road.
"Let's go." The man at the passenger seat said as we drive to the warehouse.
Mika's in deep sleep. I pressed her a serum my boss gave me and it will put whoever the affected to sleep for at least 5 hours.
I didn't want to do this. I was just forced by my boss as he threatened me that he would kill my whole family in front of me and I would be shot in the head. I know this is not right but, I had to do it.
After quite some time, we arrived at the warehouse.
I carried Mika to an empty room with a single chair right in the middle. I made her body seat on it and used a rope to fasten her legs, hands, and body.
I see her phone bulging on her pocket so I picked it and brought it with me.
"See you later." I closed the light and left the room as the boss called me.
I went on my boss's ofice to update.
"Hi boss, she's at the other room now. I have her phone too." The chair swiveled, revealing him drinking wine.
"Good. Now call that Jake guy with that phone." He said.
"W-why?" I asked.
"Just do it, bitch. I'll say what you'll say." He got irritated which I became aftaid of.
I quickly dialed the phone number in her contacts with the nickname "Love"
Jake's POV
I wake up by the sound of my phone ringing.
Shit.
I accidentally slept. I saw the number of Mika and I quickly pressed the green button to answer.
"Love? Are you okay, I'm sorry I slept, are you hom-" I was interrupted by an unfamilliar voice.
A man's voice answered instead of the voice I longed to hear.
"Jake? Is this you?" The man said.
I wrinkled my forehead, "who is this?" I asked.
"Listen, we have Mika." The boy said, making my anger rage.
"Who is this?! Where is she?!" I hurriedly asked.
"Calm down, your love is just here at your dorm, sleeping. Come here by an hour and bring 100,000 dollars with you. Don't ever fucking bring anyone with you. If you will, you won't like what I'll do to your love." The man sternly said.
"Don't even lay a finger on her or I'll call the police!" I worriedly said.
"I won't. As long as you do as I say." He said and ended the call.
Mika. My voice shaked, thinking about her and what the man said.
I wanted to throw the phone I was holding. Should I tell anybody about this?
"No." I said to my self, retracing the sentences the man said.
I went to the bank, and cashed out a hundred dollars. I quickly put it in the bag and went straight to the dorm.
I'm in front of the building, feeling anxious, scared.
It came from such a sweet morning to a sudden nightmare.
"Here goes nothin'..." I climbed up the stairs of the dorm, carrying the bag full of money.
I arrived at the doormat of our room. Should I knock?
"Screw it, I'm breaking in." I took a deep breath and twisted the doorknob.
It was open, I hurriedly entered.
"Mika!-" I looked around.
"Mika?" Nobody can be seen. I scanned all the room, opening each door with force.
My fear grew bigger for every room that I found empty. "Where are you?!" I shouted, only a reflection of my voice echoed.
Mika is not here.
I dropped the bag and called the number, again.
I gritted my teeth as the phone was ringing. Just then, the call answered.
"Where the fuck is she?!" I answered in agony.
"Calm down, sir." The man chuckled after.
"I was just kidding, why would I tell you where she is?" He continued.
My blood was boiling. "You said she is here! I already brought the money!"
"I will tell you... if I were an idiot." The man said. Fuck this guy.
"Just leave the bag there, get out of there now and I will send you the coordinates to where she truly is." He said and ended the call.
"Aish, Jake! Why did you let Mika go off on her own!" I hit my self because of my guilt.
I left the dorm, however, I sneaked through the back of the dorm to see who will get the money.
There was a man in all black who entered the building. I followed him until he stopped at a room. Our room.
As he entered the door, I hid behind it and waited for the right time.
The time is.. now.
I entered the door with full force making the person on the other side stumble.
"Who are you?!" I screamed, strangling him.
"Shit!" He said as I pinned him to the wall.
"Answer me! Who the fuck are you?!" I became red as to how mad I am.
"I'm not telling!" His voice was familliar.
I punched him on the face and removed the mask, revealing a familliar face.
"Yugio?!" I screamed, in disbelief.
"I was just ordered by my boss!" He answered.
"Who are you working for huh?!"
"I SAID WHO?!"
Flashback
Yugio's POV
"Yugio, get the documents of this girl at the school." My boss said.
"Yes, sir." I quickly went to the university and asked for the files of Mika.
"Good afternoon, ma'am. Can I please have a copy of the documents of the student Lee Mika?" I said, acting normal.
"For what?" The woman asked.
"Uhh, she's currently occupied and she asked me to get it for her." I excused.
For a minute, I persuaded the woman to give me the papers. "Thank you, ma'am." I quickly left the school and went to my boss.
I arrived at the warehouse and gave my boss the documents, containing the identity of Mika.
He gasped, looking shocked.
"It is her." He said.
"What do you mean, sir?" I asked, confused.
"My daughter."
