JJ stayed the whole night in the bathroom without sleeping at all.
She felt so bad.
About everything.
She knew that the only thing that could bring her to other thoughts was work.
JJ looked at her watch and decided that it was time to leave the bathroom.
Quietly she unlocked the door and opened it.
When she was sure, that her husband and her son were still asleep, she went downstairs.
Without changing her clothes or leaving a note for her family behind, she left her house.
JJ alwalys had fresh clothes at the BAU in case of need.
And this was definitely a case of need.
She got in her car and drove to the BAU.
Her mind went in circles and a few times she almost caused an accident.
JJ didn't even realize that.
She parked her car and took the elevator to the floor where the BAU had it's offices.
Like nothing had ever happened she walked in and through the open-plan office. She reached her office and closed the door.
The packed bag stood next to her desk and JJ knelt down beneath it.
That was when the door was opened.
JJ lifted her head to see Hotch standing there.
"Good morning, Hotch." JJ said standing up.
"You look tired." Hotch replied without rejoining her greeting.
JJ shrugged her shoulders and tried to think of a reliable excuse.
"Henry... Henry had a bellyache and couldn't sleep so..."
JJ could see that Hotch didn't believe a word she said.
He sighed: "JJ, don't lie to me. What happened last night?"
"Why should I lie to you, Hotch?" JJs voice got louder with every word.
She got angry.
Again.
"JJ, look, even if you don't want to admit it, you need help! The team wants to help you, I want to help you, and Will wants to help you! Why can't you accept our help?"
JJ couldn't controll herself anymore and screamed: "Because I don't need your help!"
For a few moments they only starred at each other.
Then Hotch made a few steps towards the door.
JJ breathed deeply and tried to pull herself together to apologize to Hotch for the screaming.
But she could even think of words before Hotch said:
"You're suspended for the next two weeks."
