3rd of October, 2008
Michael is 50, Angela is 44, and Jake is 45

Jake: Loud knocks on the door woke me up. I groaned and opened my eyes.

"Daddy!" Eric knocked even louder.

"Baby, not so loud. He probably just woke up." I heard Angela say.

I smiled to myself, stretching before I got out of bed. After finding a shirt, I hurried to open the door.

"Good morning, daddy." Eric hugged me.

"Hey, buddy." I rubbed his back.

Angela smiled at us, "Mike and I are heading to LA. Eric wanted to spend the day with you."

"Of course. What's in LA?"

"Lunch with Luci and his fiancée, we're meeting her side of the family."

So Luciano is getting married, Kim really was talking about him.

"Everyone else is spending the day at Michael's parents, so you have the ranch to yourselves. We'll only be back at night," Angela continued. "Are you good here? Is there anything you need from LA?"

"No, thank you, Ange. Luciano's getting married?" I asked.

"Yeah, can you believe it? And she's really nice, too." she answered.

"Daddy can we go play, please? I learned something new, I have to show you." Eric nudged my arm.

"Just a second, baby," his mother said. "Listen, Jakey... No one else knows that you're here other than the bodyguards. That means you have to stay away from the main house and anywhere where staff might see you."

I nodded, "I know, Angie."

She hugged me slightly and I smelled her perfume; it was the same one she wore to our wedding. It made my heart clench a little.

She never changed it.

When we pulled away, her phone buzzed.

"It's Michael, I gotta go. Have fun, you two. Love you, baby." she kissed our son's cheek, walking back to the golf cart.

"So, are we gonna play?" Eric perked up.

"Can I brush my teeth first at least?" I chuckled.

He huffed. "Fine."

~

Angela: "I love you." I waved to the children as I went back to the car.

Michael kissed Katherine's cheek, quickly joining me.

"I have a surprise for you," he said, leaning to whisper in my ear. "We're spending the night in LA... Just us, alone for a bit. I think we need alone time."

He placed a kiss behind my ear, making me giggle. He always knows exactly what we need.

We were really going at it, too. It's like some wall broke the minute he remembered. I was on cloud 9.

"Mmhm, Mike..." my breath hitched when he placed small love bites on the side of my neck.

"We've also been invited to dinner..."

"Oh, so this was just to ease me in, huh?" I rolled my eyes. "Who invited us?"

"Lisa Marie Presley."

I pulled away immediately.

"As in your ex-wife?" I raised my eyebrows.

I actually really liked Lisa Marie when we first met all the way back in 1994. But since we had bad history with Michael's other ex-wife, I was skeptical.

"Yeah, Angie, she called yesterday," he sighed. "She said she wanted to call when I woke up from the coma, to see how I was doing, but decided against it... And she wants to see the both of us."

"I don't know, Michael..." I looked down.

"Please? You do know she's married and expecting, right?"

"What does that have to do with anything? She's still your ex."

"And a good friend. Come on, you used to like her..." he lifted my head so I'd look at him.

Michael had the goofiest smile on. I couldn't help but smile back.

"It's just dinner. Look at it like a double date," he placed a small kiss on my lips. "And by the end of it, we'll go to a nice hotel and enjoy some necessary alone time for mommy and daddy..."

We really have spent quite some time at home lately. This could be refreshing.

"Fine, but I don't have any extra clothes, Mike, I can't show up to dinner like this." I pouted.

I wore something nice, but it was nice enough for lunch at Luciano's, not dinner with Lisa Marie Presley. Plus, I needed to make an impression.

It was my husband's turn to roll his eyes. "Trust me, babe, you look amazing. If you really want, we'll go shopping for something later."

"Yes, please. Thank you."

"Anything for you, Angie," he leaned down to kiss me again, longer this time. "I love you."

Each time he said it, I melted a little inside. I missed hearing him say that so much.

"I love you, too." I kissed him back.

~

Michael had his right hand on my knee under the table, as he laughed at something my dad said.

I tried focusing on what Britney was telling me, but was too distracted by my husband's fingers that stroked up and down.

"What do you think, Angela?"

"Sorry, what?" I blinked.

"The gelato bar," she said. "Luci wants to have a real gelato bar at the wedding. How neat is that?"

I smiled slightly. "That's great, Brit."

She kept showing me pictures of possible themes, and I only nodded since Michael didn't stop what he was doing.

Britney's sister, Kim, sat on the other side of her. She kept glancing at my husband and I curiously, I found it quite amusing.

Apparently, it was only Britney and Kim from their side of the family. Their parents passed away a few years ago.

A small gasp accidentally escaped my lips, and I grabbed Michael's arm when his hand suddenly went up my short dress. He only squeezed my thigh, never stopping his conversation.

He is definitely on a mission right now...

"Mike," I cleared my throat. "Can we talk for a sec?"

"Of course, babe. I'll be right back, Jared." he smiled at my dad.

I took his hand and pulled him down the hall into a spare room.

I didn't even get a chance to speak when he grabbed me by my face to kiss me hungrily.

My body instantly gave in, making me wrap my legs around him when he hoisted me up. He never stopped kissing me as he quickly slid down my panties.

"Your boobs look so amazing in that dress, baby," my husband said. "I had to get your attention somehow..."

I gasped when his fingers started rubbing me gently, "M- Michael-"

Completely forgetting where we were, I let out a low moan.

"Shh, Angie, they'll hear us..."

His fingers worked their magic and my mouth hung open, my eyes rolling back. I could feel my orgasm building up slowly.

"Oh, my-" I accidentally almost moaned loudly before I heard footsteps. It made me snap back to reality since we didn't lock the door.

"Mike," I opened my eyes to look at him. "S- stop, someone's coming."

He hurried to let me go and I pulled my panties up.

I giggled when I saw my lipstick that smudged on his lips, and ran my thumb along them. "Whoops."

Michael chuckled as I cleaned my own lips before the door opened.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know someone was in here," Kim said. "Britney said they might have some extra plates in here."

She looked between Michael and I, and blushed, definitely knowing what we were up to.

"I think it's up there." I pointed to a cabinet in the back of the room.

I offered to help her as Michael excused himself. All I could do was smile to myself at the thought of tonight.

~

When Kim and I came back, my mom was getting the desserts out. Michael was in his seat next to my dad.

"Angela, can you help me, please?" she called.

I placed the plates on the counter and grabbed the tiramisu she took out.

"It looks like you and Michael are doing good, bella," mom said with a grin. "It's nice seeing you two happy again."

"Thanks, mamma."

"Just don't forget the condoms, okay? I don't have time to come babysit anymore with this wedding coming up."

"Mamma!" I felt myself blushing deeply.

She chuckled and placed a kiss on my cheek.

"You two act like newlyweds lately, I only want you to watch out..." she mumbled.

"We are, mamma, don't worry. Trust me, no more babies." I rolled my eyes slightly.

"If you say so..."

We placed the desserts on the table before joining everyone.

This time, I sat next to Luciano, across from Michael. He looked at me, pursing his lips in annoyance.

"Tease." he mouthed. I stuck my tongue out at him, making him grin.

"Sis," my brother wrapped his arm around my shoulders, not noticing Michael and I's little back and forth. "Brit wanted to ask you and Michael something."

"Luci, not now!" Britney groaned.

Luciano reached for her hand, "Why not, baby? They're already here, and you didn't want to ask over the phone, right?"

His fiancée sighed but then smiled at me.

"Well, I thought it was obvious, but Luci insists I ask. I'd like for you to be one of my bridesmaids."

"I would love to, Britney." I told her.

"And Michael," Britney turned to him. "I was wondering if you could possibly sing for our first dance... We were thinking of dancing to 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You'. It's one of my favorites. "

"Oh, and be one of my groomsmen." Luciano added.

Michael's cheeks flushed red a bit and he cleared his throat, "It would be my honor, Luciano. And Britney, I want to say yes, but can I think about it first? I haven't performed in a while..."

That answer was enough to make Britney grin widely, and she of course thanked him for considering.

"You're the best." my brother tightened his arm around me.

I hugged him slightly, and saw Kim type something in her phone as she smiled to herself.

She was nice, although she hasn't talked much today. And the way she looked at Michael and I was very entertaining.

The poor thing, I could only imagine what she's thinking after almost catching Mike and I.

"Angie," Michael called. "We should head out soon."

"Dessert time!" Britney announced and started cutting the desserts.

~

Jake: Eric dodged my attempt to grab the basketball from his hands, cheering when he scored a three-pointer.

Damn, he is good.

"Woo! Wanna go for 5 out of 10?" he asked and wiped his forehead.

"We should take a break, buddy," I told him, taking a big sip of water. "And maybe eat something."

He groaned but agreed, and I dragged him back to the guest house.

~

As we ate, Eric was talking about how he can't wait to meet Michael Jordan.

"Dad said he's gonna come next week," he grinned, with a smile that matched Angela's. "Too bad you can't join us."

He continued eating, every now and then asking questions. I noticed how well-mannered he was, but I didn't expect anything less, knowing who raised him.

I looked at my phone as I got another text from Kim.

"So apparently my future brother-in-law is related to MJ. He's Angela Jackson's brother, I didn't know she was Italian."

I asked her if she's having fun.

"I guess, they're very nice. A little freaky, but nice..."

"Freaky?" I texted back.

"I almost caught them in one of the rooms... Freaky."

That feeling in the pit of my stomach came back when I realized what she was implying.

"Daddy," Eric suddenly said. "Can we go play again? I'm done."

"How about we walk off this lunch, then go play?" I offered.

He nodded, taking his plate away. Just then, Angela called.

"Hey." I answered.

"Hi, Jakey," she said. "How's it going? Did Eric wear you out yet?"

"No, we're having fun, Angela."

"Good, I'm really glad to hear... Listen, Mike and I are staying in LA for the night, but Adam will come pick him up once the nanny's back with the other kids."

"No worries. Have fun." I told her, with somewhat of a bitter taste in my mouth at the thought of her and Michael spending the night alone.

"Angie, we're almost there." I heard Michael from her end.

"Thanks, Jake. We'll see you tomorrow." she hurried to hang up.

I sighed, joining Eric who was already waiting outside.

~

Michael: Angela and I were walking hand in hand through Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverley Hills.

I decided to treat her to a shopping spree, she deserved a little pampering.

"I'm gonna go look at some clothes I saw back there, I'll be right back." she kissed my cheek and one of the bodyguards followed her.

I looked around, noticing the nice jewelry booth.

"Can I help, Mr. Jackson?" the young clerk asked with a smile.

Maybe I should get Angie something nice...

"Which of these are white gold?" I pointed the the rings. "And diamonds."

She took out a couple displays and placed them in front of me. "For your wife?"

I nodded, examining my options, and spotted one just at the end of the display. It was simple, but she would love it. The ring had neatly lined diamonds all throughout, matching Angela's oval engagement and wedding rings perfectly.

An idea popped up in an instant.

"That one. Size 6, please." I couldn't help but grin.

"Great choice. I'll get that ready for you." the clerk said.

I thanked her when she handed me the small bag.

"Mike," I heard Angela call and hurried to hide the bag behind my back as she came over. "I think I found something."

She was holding a garment bag in her arms.

Taking her hand in mine, I kissed her cheek. "Great, and I bet it looks real nice... Did you get anything else?"

"Just one more thing, I thought you'd like this for tonight..." she showed me the well-known pink bag with the 'VS' initials.

This woman is something special.

She leaned in to kiss me, telling me she can't wait for tonight.

~

Lisa Marie opened the door with the most delighted face. Her husband, Michael Lockwood, stood next to her with a slight smile on.

"Come in, come in!" she moved out of the way. Her big belly stood out, making me smile, knowing how amazing of a mother she is.

"How are you, Lisa Marie?" I asked as we hugged.

"Oh, I'm fine, Michael. Just heavily pregnant," she laughed. "It's good to see you on your feet."

"Thank you." I hugged her tighter. When we broke apart, she introduced Angela and I to Lockwood.

"Nice to finally meet you." he shook my hand. I nodded in return. He leaned down to kiss my wife's cheek lightly.

Wrapping my arm around Angela's waist, I pulled her close. "This is Angela."

"I know who she is." Lisa Marie rolled her eyes before taking Angela away from me so she can hug her as well.

"So, who's hungry?" Lockwood asked and we all followed to the dining room.

~

Angela: It was such a nice dinner. Michael was right.

I totally forgot how fun Lisa Marie was, and enjoyed her company a lot.

We sat down in their living room after dinner, having good conversation and drinks.

"Babe, I'm giving Michael a tour. Will you be alright for a few minutes?" Michael Lockwood asked her.

She nodded. My husband hurried to place a peck on my lips before they left.

Lisa Marie grabbed both my hands in hers suddenly. She had some tears in her eyes as she spoke.

"He looks really happy, Angela."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. I don't think I've ever seen him this happy," she sighed. "I'm sorry about what happened to Jake. I know how much you two loved each other."

"Thanks." I looked down. I didn't really want to talk about my ex-husband right now.

"So, nine kids, huh? You made his dream come true, you know. I don't know how you two do it, though. I could barely do two, and now these girls are coming and I'm terrified." she said when she noticed my sudden mood change.

Lisa Marie leaned back on the couch.

"Twins are easy, once you get them into some kind of rhythm," I smiled. "You'll do great, I promise. If you need anything don't hesitate to call me."

"Thanks, Angela."

We talked some more and we made plans to go out, just the two of us, once her babies grow a bit.

Both our husbands showed up. It was already late, around 11 PM.

"We should probably go." I told Michael.

All of us hugged as we said our goodbyes.

"Seriously, call me whenever you need, Lisa Marie." I hugged her again.

"Told you you'd have fun," Michael smiled victoriously as we settled in the car. "And I can't wait for the other kind of fun..."

~

Michael collapsed on top of me, trying to catch his breath.

"Damn, Angie... That was something else..." he kissed my neck, and I played with his hair.

His lips found mine again. I savored his taste, hoping he won't stop. But he did, unfortunately.

I groaned, quickly pulling him back.

"Angela, baby," he laughed into my mouth. "I want to give you something."

"In a second, Michael..." I only kissed him more.

My husband placed one long kiss on my lips, finally escaping my hold. I saw him reaching to the drawer in the nightstand and take out a small bag.

"Luciano's wedding planning inspired me today," he smiled sweetly, then showed the blue velvet box inside. "We've been through so much lately, right? You've stuck with me through all of it, too... So it made me think, our own wedding wasn't really all about how much you and I love each other..."

He opened the box to reveal a beautiful ring which I assumed to be diamonds. They were a bit bigger than my wedding band's were.

"Oh, Michael..." I felt the tears coming, knowing what he was about to ask.

"Angie, would you do me the honors of renewing our vows?"

I kissed him, telling him over and over how much I love him.

"I love you, too, Angela. You have no idea," Michael whispered. "So is that a yes?"

Rolling my eyes, I attacked him in hug. "Yes, Mike."

He pulled away and slipped the ring onto my finger, right above my engagement ring. It fit perfectly, and stacked beautifully with my two rings.

He kissed them lightly, before we went to our own world of love making again.
