Baa:- Haan Toshu.....tu is naagin ko abhi ke abhi naa bol aur iski galatfaimi dur kar ki tu hume chodke kahi jaayega.
She said, looking at Toshu with hope but Toshu kept quiet and this made Vanraj lose his patience.
Vanraj:- Are yeh bhut banke kya khada hai.....BOL NA.
He shouted, asking him to speak up and Toshu finally broke his silence in fear.
Toshu:- Sorry papa.....sorry Baa.....lekin mai mom ko Naa nahi bol sakta.
He said, standing up to the duo and both were left shell shocked hearing this.
Vanraj:- Toshu....tu yeh....
He let out, astounded not being able to believe his ears but Toshu's next words made him realize that it was all true.
Toshu:- Maine bahut kosis ki papa so that yeh court case mujhe affect na kare....but yeh kar raha hai.....na sirf meri life ko balki Kinjal ki life ko bhi.....hum kahi bhi jaate hai....office me ya dosto ke saath....yeh chor ke bete hone ka tag humesha humare saath chalta hai.....koi na koi hume zaroor taane marta hai.....wo bhi is wakt jab aap guilty prove nahi hue ho....aur agar ek baar aap guilty prove ho gaye to log to hume jeene hi nahi denge....office se leke society tak.....humari zindagi.....humara career sab barbaad ho jaayega.....aur yeh mai hone nahi de sakta.
He stated, recalling a few such instances he had to go through due to this case and Vanraj was at a loss of words hearing this.
Toshu:- Baa Bapuji ki puri life nikal chuki hai.....aapki aur mummy ki aadhi....but meri aur Kinjal ki puri life abhi baaki hai.....hum ise "chor ke bete bahu" tag ke saath nahi jee sakte......Isiliye agar agle kuch dino me aapne aur Kavya ne court case ka solution nahi nikala to......naa chahte hue bhi mujhe aap dono se rishta todna hoga.....aur yeh ghar chod ke humesha ke liye jaana hoga.
He tried to warn them of the consequences in a subtle manner but Rakhi made it worse with her direct tone.
Rakhi:- Sirf itna nahi.....press me bhi yeh baat bolni padegi ki tumahra in logo se koi rishta nahi hai.
She further added and Toshu just hummed in agreement, infuriating Vanraj even more.
Vanraj:- Tera Dimaag To Kharab Nahi Ho Gaya Hai Toshu?
He roared and Toshu shrieked at his tone but Vanraj didn't stop.
Vanraj:- Tu ek ladki ke liye apne baap ko.....apne budhe Baa Bapuji ko.....apni choti behan ko mushkil me akela chod ke jaayega?
He questioned him but Toshu gathered his courage and back answered him.
Toshu:- Nahi papa.....ladki ke liye nahi....khud ke liye......Ladki ke liye to aapne apne parivaar ko mushkil me choda hai.....maine nahi.
He taunted and the statement pricked Vanraj like never before.
Vanraj:- TOSHU.
He snapped at Toshu and Baa grew tense by his behaviour.
Baa:- Vanraj kya kar raha hai tu yeh?......wo humse aur dur ho jaayega.
She tried to remind Vanraj of the consequences but he was in no mood to listen.
Vanraj:- Are aab aur isse zada kya dur hoga Baa?.....already yeh itna selfish ho gaya hai ki sirf apne baare me soch raha hai.....chand paiso aur aisho aaram ki zindagi ke liye yeh hume chod ke jaane ke liye tayyar ho gaya hai.....ise zara bhi khayal nahi aa raha ki iska parivaar iske bina kaise rehega.
He said, turning towards him and Toshu closed his eyes hearing this while Rakhi enjoyed the drama unfolding in front of her.
Vanraj:- Are mujhe to laga tha tu.....mera beta.....mere baad mere parivaar ko sambhalega.....ise jod ke rakhega....lekin tu to khud is parivaar se bhaag raha hai Toshu.....kyu kar raha hai tu aisa?
He further questioned, trying to get Toshu to change his decision while Toshu explained himself in front of everyone.
Toshu:- Papa.....mai is parivaar se nahi.....sirf aapse aur Kavya se bhaag raha hoo.....aur rahi baat is parivaar ko sambhalne ki to.....mai har mahine kharcha bheja karoonga.....jo financial help ho sake wo karunga....lekin yaha nahi reh paunga.
He said but his answer didn't convince anyone, not even Bapuji who was trying his best to keep the family together despite all the challenges.
Bapuji:- Ghar sambhalne ka matalab sirf paisa kama ke lana nahi hota.....yeh aajtak naa tera baap samajh paaya aur na tu samajh raha hai......Are hume tere paiso ki nahi.....tere saath ki zaroorat hai Paritosh.
He remarked in a dejected tone but Toshu rolled his eyes at the statement as he dismissed it.
Toshu:- Sorry Bapuji.....mera is ghar me sabke saath rehna to aab papa pe depend karta hai.....agar wo is hafte me court case khatam kar dete hai to theek hai.....warna mai Rakhi mom ke pass rehne jaa raha hoo and this is Final....Aab yeh papa ko decide karna hai ki unke liye Kavya important hai ya hum.
He announced his decision and walked out the door, not wanting to engage in an argument with anyone anymore while the others except Rakhi stood with dread in their eyes, trying to figure out what just happened.
There was nothing but silence in the house and Baa and Bapuji feared that their lives will soon be haunted by it if things were allowed to continue the same. Meanwhile, Vanraj could see everything slipping from his hands.....the sway he had over his family, the control he had over his children.....were all falling apart and he could do nothing about it.
A plethora of thoughts were running through his mind. A wave of anger towards Anupama and Rakhi was surging through his veins and an amount of fear was sitting in his heart, reminding him every second that his kids were moving away from him.
He just needed one opportunity…..one chance…..one leverage over Anuj Kapadia to set everything right but he knew that it was now almost impossible to come through.
There was a turmoil of emotions playing on his face and Rakhi noticed it as soon as Toshu left.
Rakhi:- Mr. Shah.....aapke liye mere andar koi sympathy to nahi hai.....lekin fir bhi ek free ki advice de deti hoo.
She said as she walked towards Vanraj, hoping he would react but he just stood in silence, glaring at her.
Rakhi:- Mere aane se pehle Kavya jo keh rahi thi na.....wo bilkul sahi keh rahi thi.....aap dono jaiye aur Mr. Kapadia se maafi maang lijeye....aaj unke naye project ki site pe pooja bhi hai.....kya pata wo acche mood me ho aur aap dono ko maaf karde !!
She continued with a smirk, knowing that it would be the greatest defeat for Vanraj if he had to apologize to her ex-wife's newfound best friend and reminded him that this was his only option.
Rakhi:- Baaki aapki marzi.....beta to aapse already dur ho hi gaya hai.....aur rahi baat beti ki to.....wo dur hone ke process me hai.
She stated and Vanraj quivered in anger at her statement but kept quiet knowing that all the cards were in her hands.
Rakhi:- Anyways Mr. Shah....aap apne budhe maa baap jo abhi kuch dino me akele bhi hone wale hai.....unke saath wakt bitaiye.....mai chalti hoo.....kyuki aap Toshu aur Pakhi ko kitna bhi bol le ki yeh saari galti Kavya ki hai.....mai aap aur Baa Bapuji yeh acche se jaante hai ki asliyat me galat aap hai.....aur aapka jail jaana pakka hai.
She taunted and Baa turned hysterical at her words.
Baa:- Naagin.....aisa mat kar.....mai tere haath jod rahi hoo....mera ghar mat tod.
She cried with joined hands but Rakhi was adamant on her decision.
Rakhi:- Baa aapka ghar to andar se tabhi tut gaya tha jab Anupama yeh ghar chodkar gayi thi.....bas aab to aapka yeh ek hone ka dikhava tut raha hai.
She said but Bapuji was not ready to accept it.
Bapuji:- Rakhi beta......please Toshu ke saamne aisii shart mat rakh.
He requested in a choking voice while Vanraj witnessed the scene silently, hoping that his parents would be able to convince Rakhi but to his disappointment, Rakhi refused Bapuji although hesitantly.
Rakhi:- Sorry Bapuji.....jaise aapko apna parivaar apna beta pyaara hai.....waise hi mujhe meri beti.....aur mai uske liye yeh shart wapas nahi le sakti.
She said, explaining her reasons and Baa and Bapuji looked at her teary eyed but it didn't have much effect on her.
Rakhi:- Jai Shree Krishna.
She greeted them in a cold voice and gave Vanraj and Kavya a glare before she left, leaving everyone shocked and in splits.
Baa:- Vanraj.....yeh Naagin kya keh ke gayi hai.....kya sach me aab koi aur raasta nahi hai yeh case jeetne ka?.....tum dono to keh rahe the na ki wo wakeel koi deal weal leke aane wala hai......uska kya hua?
Baa turned to Vanraj as soon as Rakhi walked out the door but Kavya answered on his behalf.
Kavya:- Wo company walo ki taraf se abhi koi jawab nahi aaya hai.....aur mujhe nahi lagta ki aayega bhi.
She said and Baa was terrified to hear this.
Baa:- Iska matalab tum dono sach me jail chale jaaoge?
She questioned in anxiousness but instead of calming her down, Kavya put forward her own request.
Kavya:- Aap Anupama ko manane ki kosis kijeye na Baa.....shayad wo kuch kare.
She pleaded but Baa reminded her of Anupama's stance to not interfere in the matter.
Baa:- Are mai to use ek hafte se bol rahi hoo.....lekin uske kaan pe to joo tak nahi reng rahi.
She stated and a dejected Bapuji told her that it wouldn't work.
Bapuji:- Anupama nahi maanegi.....meri beti humesha sach ka saath deti hai aur tum dono galat ho.
He said rather in a disappointed tone and Kavya rolled her eyes at it as she turned towards Vanraj who was lost in his own thoughts.
Kavya:- V....tum kuch karo na please.
She said, bringing him back to the present and Baa added onto her request.
Baa:- Haan Vanraj....kuch to kar.....aise to mai...tere Bapuji bilkul akele ho jaayenge.....hum tum logo ke bina kaise rehenge....nahi ho paayega humse.....hum nahi dekh paayenge yun apne pariwar ko tutate hue....kuch kar na beta....isse pehle sab barbaad ho jaaye kuch kar.
She pleaded in a sobbing voice with joined hands in front of Vanraj and Vanraj couldn't bear to watch his mother like that.
He immediately walked up to her and unfolded her joined hands, causing her to calm down a bit.
Vanraj:- Baa please....meri baat suniye.....idhar dekhiye.
He said and Baa looked at him with hope while he assured her that everything will be okay.
Vanraj:- Mai aap logo ko chodke kahi nahi jaunga Baa....mujhpe bharosa hai na aapko?
He questioned and Baa nodded in a yes thinking about it.
Vanraj:- To baaki sab mujhpe chod dijeye......mai sab theek kar dunga....hmm.
He stated in reassurance but deep down he had no idea what he would do.
However, at the moment, he knew he had to maintain his calm for the sake of his family and he did it.
Vanraj:- Bapuji....aap Baa ko andar leke jaiye....inhe aaram ki zaroorat hai.
He asked Bapuji to take Baa to her room and Bapuji agreed to it.
Bapuji:- Chal Leela....
He said as he held her shoulders and helped her walk back to their room.
Meanwhile, Kavya charged on Vanraj as soon as Baa and Bapuji left her sight.
Kavya:- V....tumne keh to diya Baa ko ki sab theek kar doge.....lekin Rakhi sahi keh rahi thi ki sab theek tab hi ho sakta hai jab hum Anuj Kapadia se maafi maange....tumne dekha na Toshu kaise tumse rishta todne ke liye do minute me raazi ho gaya....
She said, reminding Vanraj of Rakhi's words but Vanraj didn't let her finish.
Vanraj:- To kya mere maafi maangne se wo rishta nahi todega.....mai kitni baar kahu ki mai us Anuj Kapadia se...
He yelled in anger but was interrupted by the ring of Kavya's phone.
Vanraj:- Kiska phone hai?
He questioned, looking at the phone in her hand and Kavya was miffed by that unnecessary question between an important argument.
However, she didn't argue with him and turned her phone to check whose it was.
Kavya:- Mr. Tripathi ka.
The words escaped her mouth as soon as she saw the name of the person calling and Vanraj was surprised by her answer.
Vanraj:- Wo tumhe kyu call kar raha hai?
He inquired, wondering why his lawyer was calling Kavya instead of him but Kavya just shrugged her shoulders in response.
Vanraj:- Speaker par daalo.
He asked Kavya to pick up the call and put the phone on speaker which she followed.
Kavya:- Hello Mr. Tripathi.
She greeted, putting the phone on speaker and the person on the other side wished her the same.
Mr. Tripathi:- Hello Kavya Jii.
He said and before Kavya could ask the reason behind the call, he told her that he wanted to talk about something important.
Mr. Tripathi:- Actually.....mujhe aapse kuch important baat karni thi.
He stated, getting straight to the point an Kavya and Vanraj wondered as to what's going on.
Kavya:- Ji kahiye.
She said, trying to take the conversation forward but Mr. Tripathi surprised her.
Mr. Tripathi:- Kya aap do minute apne ghar ke bahar aa sakti hai?....mai wahi pe hoo.
He requested and Vanraj gave Kavya a look but she ignored it and informed Mr. Tripathi that she was coming.
Kavya:- Sure.
She said and disconnected the call while Vanraj kept looking at her in vexation which she noticed.
Kavya:- Aise kya dekh rahe ho.....tumahre peeth peeche nahi jaa rahi.....tumhare saath jaa rahi hoo usse milne.
She addressed his concern and he rolled his eyes in a "whatever" before they walked out the house together and found Mr. Tripathi waiting at the side of the gate.
Hello Mr. Tripathi.
Vanraj called out as he walked up to him but Mr. Tripathi was shocked to see him there.
He had received clear instructions from his seniors to deliver the news to Kavya Shah only and therefore he had called her, hoping that she would come alone but the sudden appearance of Vanraj had surprised him.
Mr. Tripathi:- Mr. Shah aap.....mujhe laga sirf Kavya Ji aa rahi hai.
He let out in astonishment and Vanraj sensed that there was something off about it.
Vanraj:- Kyu mujhse koi problem hai aapko?
He questioned and Mr. Tripathi immediately nodded in a no trying to control the situation.
Mr. Tripathi:- Nahi nahi.
He said with an awkward smile but Kavya skipped the small talk and directly inquired him about the reason behind his earlier request.
Kavya:- Mr. Tripathi.....boliye aapne bahar kyu bulaya hume ghar ke?.....aap andar bhi to aa sakte the na?
She asked, perplexed but Mr. Tripathi had no clue as to how to answer her queries in front of Vanraj.
Mr. Tripathi:- Ji Kavya Ji.....wo....
He stuttered and Vanraj wondered if he had just called Kavya out because he had some bad news and he was too afraid to break it to him or was there something else.
Vanraj:- Mr. Tripathi boliye....Kya baat hai?
He inquired, hoping for a clear answer but Mr. Tripathi remained silent, not sure if he should speak or not.
He had come prepared from his office to break the news to Kavya only but the presence of Vanraj out of nowhere had thrown him off his game. He was racing his mind to get out of the situation but before he could do that, Kavya interrupted him.
Kavya:- AK Group se deal ke baare me koi jawab aaya kya?
She inquired and in his panic Mr. Tripathi couldn't hold back.
Mr. Tripathi:- Haan wo...
He answered in a yes and saw the expression on Vanraj's face change from anxiety to relief which made him realize what a blunder he had committed.
Kavya:- To boliye Mr. Tripathi kya kaha un logo ne?
Meanwhile, Kavya asked again, wanting a straight answer.
He was supposed to break the news to Kavya and Kavya only but his panic had screwed everything up. He knew that now, he can't take his words back and neither can he spin it for he needed to deliver the news today itself and that too at any cost.
So, he decided to keep Vanraj's presence at the scene a secret from his seniors and informed Kavya as well as Vanraj about the deal.
Mr. Tripathi:- Unhone ek settlement offer bheja hai....
He said and Kavya was ecstatic hearing this.
Kavya:- Sach?
She asked and Mr. Tripathi confirmed it but Vanraj was curious about the terms of the deal.
Vanraj:- To bataiye kya hai offer?
He inquired and Mr. Tripathi handed him an envelope with a few legal papers.
Mr. Tripathi:- Offer me likha hai ki agar aap log MG Group ke against case me yeh gawahi dene ke liye tayyar ho jaate hai ki aapne wo bids MG Group me se hi kisiko diye the aur jisko diye the unka naam reveal kar dete hai....to AK Group yeh case wapas le lega.
He stated but both Vanraj and Kavya knew that this offer was too good to be true.
Kavya:- Bas itna hi.....unhe aur kuch nahi chahiye humse?
She questioned further and Mr. Tripathi revealed the other terms of the deal.
Mr. Tripathi:- Iske saath saath aapko AK Group ko 8 lakhs bhi pay karne padenge aur ek private admission of guilt bhi sign karna hoga jisme likha hoga ki aapne AK Group se wo bids churaye the aur MG Group ko diya tha.
He said in a straight tone but Vanraj wasn't convinced.
Vanraj:- Aur?
He asked, waiting for the other shoe to drop and it sure did.
Mr. Tripathi:- Aur aap dono ko office me jaake sabke saamne maafi bhi maangni padegi.....board of directors, baaki employees aur Anupama Joshi se.
He disclosed and both Vanraj and Kavya were stunned to hear the last name.
Kavya:- Anupama se?
She let out in an unpleasant tone, not being able to believe her own ears and Mr. Tripathi affirmed it.
Mr. Tripathi:- Ji.....isme likha hai ki aap logo ko Anupama ji ko jhoote fraud case me fasaane ke liye.....unse alag se maafi maangni padegi sabke saamne.
He stated, pointing at the clause mentioned in the papers and Vanraj was irked by the mere mention of it.
Vanraj:- Tumhe lagta hai mai Anupama se maafi mangunga?
He questioned but Mr. Tripathi was in no mood to engage in another argument with him.
Mr. Tripathi:- Mujhe nahi pata Mr. Shah....aap kya karenge....kya nahi....lekin agar aap yeh deal nahi sign karte hai to next hearing me khud ko represent karne ke liye dusra lawyer dhund lijeyega.....mai yeh case aab aur nahi lad paunga.
He warned Vanraj and Kavya grew worried by his statement.
Kavya:- Lekin Mr. Tripathi...
She tried to reason but Vanraj stopped her as his mind was focused on something else.
Vanraj:- Aap jaa sakte hai.
He asked Mr. Tripathi to leave and Mr. Tripathi was surprised that he was letting him go without any drama or argument.
Mr. Tripathi:- Ji?
He tried to confirm if what he heard was right and Vanraj assured him that it was.
Vanraj:- Aapko humara jawab kal mil jaayega.
He stated and Kavya wondered as to what's going on in her husband's mind.
Kavya:- V.....tum yeh...
She tried to question him but stopped as Vanraj glared at her while Mr. Tripathi asked for their leave.
Mr. Tripathi:- Theek hai Mr. and Mrs. Shah....mai chalta hoo fir.
He said, not wanting to be a part of the conversation between a husband and wife and Vanraj nodded in acknowledgement hearing this.
However, as soon as Mr. Tripathi left, Kavya turned to Vanraj in order to suggest him to take the deal. The thought of bowing down to Anupama was killing her from inside yet she knew that it was their only option and she needed Vanraj to agree to it.
Kavya:- V.....dekho....I know tumhe Anupama se maafi mangne me problem hai but please.....isse acchi deal hume kahi nahi milegi.
She said in a low voice, hoping Vanraj would understand but Vanraj's mind was focused somewhere else.
Agar aap log MG Group ke against case me yeh gawahi dene ke liye tayyar ho jaate hai ki aapne wo bids MG Group me se hi kisiko diye the aur jisko diye the unka naam reveal kar dete hai....to AK Group yeh case wapas le lega.
The words kept echoing in his mind while Kavya tried to persuade him to sign the deal.
Kavya:- Let's just sign this and get done with this case. Uske baad tumhe Anupama ke saath jo karna hoga karna.....please let's just do it.
She further added but this time Vanraj heard it and before she could go on, he turned her down immediately.
Vanraj:- Mai kuch sign nahi kar raha Kavya......aur na hi tum karogi.
He said in a firm tone but Kavya was not ready to listen.
Kavya:- Tumahra dimag to nahi kharab ho gaya V.....yaha jail jaane ki talwaar humare sur pe latak rahi hai.....Toshu ghar chodke jaa raha hai....Baa ka BP low ho raha hai......aur tum abhi bhi keh rahe ho ki tum deal sign nahi karoge.
She reminded Vanraj of the deteriorating condition of his family and tried to persuade him to take the offer as it is.
Kavya:- What's the big deal V?....Jaha hum baaki employees se maafi maangenge.....waha Anupama se bhi maang lenge....kya farak padta hai?
She questioned and Vanraj couldn't help but sigh in exasperation.
Vanraj:- Farak padta hai Kavya......bahut farak padta hai......isme likha hai ki Anupama se hume alag se maafi maangni hai.....us apology ka content wo log likh ke denge....aur mai aisa hone nahi dunga.....mai us aurat ke saamne kabhi nahi jhookunga.
He stated with firmness and questioned Kavya if she can do the same.
Vanraj:- Aur meri baat chodo......tum kya pure office ke saamne us gawar Anupama ke aage gidgida paogi?
He inquired and a pensive Kavya replied with an answer which he never expected from her.
Kavya:- Hume gidgidana nahi hai V.....bas maafi mangni hai....aur jail jaane se bachne ke liye mai kuch bhi kar sakti hoo....chahe fir wo Anupama aur Anuj Kapadia ke samne gidgidana hi kyu na ho !!
She said, having made up her mind about the deal but Vanraj had some other plans.
Vanraj:- The good thing is that....ki hume aab na gidgidana padega aur naa hi maafi mangi padegi.....us Anuj Kapadia se bhi nahi.
He stated with a smirk and Kavya looked at him in bewilderment.
Kavya:- What are you talking about?
She asked, perplexed and Vanraj put forth the thought running in his mind.
Vanraj:- Yahi ki us Anuj ne sirf me hume settlement offer nahi diya hai.....balki settlement offer ke form me apni weakness.....apni kamzori humare saamne rakh di hai.....jiska aab hum pura fayda uthayenge.
He said, pointing at the papers in his hand but Kavya still had no idea what he was talking about.
Kavya:- V saaf saaf bolo.....tum kehna kya chahte ho?
She requested and Vanraj reminded her of something.
Vanraj:- Tumhe yaad hai Kavya maine tumse bola tha ki mujhe lagta hai Anuj ko humari Singhania ke saath hui deal ke baare me pata hai?
He asked and Kavya just hummed in response as she recalled their conversation while Vanraj went on to tell her about the situation.
Vanraj:- Turns out ki use kuch bhi nahi pata hai.
He added with some plan going on in his mind but Kavya couldn't comprehend it.
Kavya:- Matalab?
She inquired, hoping for an elaboration and Vanraj did give it to her.
Vanraj:- Matalab yeh Kavya ki agar use pata hota ki wo bids maine Singhania ko diye the leak karne ke liye.....to wo humse is deal ke through yeh pata lagane ki kosis nahi karta ki wo bids MG Group me kisko mile the.....use abhi tak already sab pata hota.
He explained and Kavya wondered if what she was thinking was right.
Kavya:- To tum keh rahe ho ki Anuj ko koi idea nahi hai ki in sab me Singhania bhi involved hai?
She tried to confirm and Vanraj affirmed it.
Vanraj:- Exactly.....use kuch bhi nahi pata.....aur isiliye use humari zarurat hai....na sirf yeh prove karne ke liye ki MG Group ko bids leak kiye gaye the....balki yeh pata lagane ke liye bhi ki uske board me ek dhokebaaz baitha hai jo uski company ko kabhi bhi duba sakta hai.
He stated, ecstatic to finally have found an opportunity to defeat Anuj while Kavya reminded Vanraj that Anuj has no idea that the bids were leaked by one of the members in his board.
Kavya:- Lekin V......use to lagta hai ki wo bids humne leak kiye hai to wo....
She said, worried about Vanraj's plan but Vanraj assured her that he will soon make him aware.
Vanraj:- Don't worry Kavya....use abhi yeh lagta hai lekin kuch time baad nahi lagega.
He stated with belief as he turned to leave but Kavya stopped him.
Kavya:- Kaha jaa rahe ho tum?
She asked, wondering as to where he was going, leaving the conversation in between and Vanraj informed her.
Vanraj:- Us Anuj Kapadia ke saath ek nayi deal negotiate karne jisme na tumhe na mujhe kisiko Anupama ya kisi aur ke saamne jhukna nahi padega.
He replied with a grin on his face and this got Kavya worried.
Kavya:- Dekho V......agar us din dance academy jaisa tamasha tum fir karne jaa rahe ho na Anuj ke saamne to.....let me tell you it's a bad idea aur agar yeh backfire hua na to mai tumahre saath jail nahi jaungi.....mai AK Group me jaake akele witness banne ka offer dungi aur wo log khushi khushi accept bhi kar lenge.
She warned him but Vanraj guaranteed that she doesn't have to worry about something like that.
Vanraj:- Iski naubat nahi aayegi.....mai waha tamasha karne nahi jaa raha.....bas baat karne jaa raha hoo.
He stated in reassurance but Kavya wasn't convinced.
Kavya:- Tum humesha baat karne hi jaate ho V.....lekin end me tamasha hi karte ho.
She reminded him but Vanraj ignored it as always.
Vanraj:- To karne do na.
He let out, tired of assuring her again and again and Kavya looked at him miffed.
Vanraj:- Tumhe bas jail na jaane se matalab hai na.....baaki mai wo kaise ensure karta hooo......tumhe isse kya lena dena?
He said and Kavya realized that he was right.
Her main concern was going to jail and as long as it is handled, she doesn't care about anything else.
Kavya:- Fine.....Jo karna hai karo lekin meri warning yaad rakhna.
She stated in a threatening tone before she turned around and left while Vanraj stood there scrolling through his phone searching for the address of Anuj's new project.
Sorry Kavya....but aaj bina tamashe ke kaam nahi hoga....us Anuj Kapadia ne yeh deal bhejke meri insult karne ki kosis ki hai na.....aab dekhna isi deal ka use karke mai kaise uski unbiased businessman hone ki reputation ki dhajjiya udata hoo.....Just wait and Watch.

The priest announced, handing over the aarti plate to Anuj and Anuj followed his instructions as he stood up along with everyone else.
The aarti began in a few seconds and Anuj started rotating his hand holding the aarti plate in prayer while the others clapped their hands in the same.
Soon the entire hall was filled with positive energy as the aarti almost reached its end.

Krishna Damodharam vasudevam hari.
The different names of Lord Krishna echoed in the atmosphere while Anuj tried to replenish the camphor in the diya during the aarti when the flames from the aarti plate reached his hand and the plate almost slipped from his grip.
However, a pair of hands came out of nowhere and clutched Anuj's hands before the plate could fall from it and everyone around including Anuj breathed a sigh of relief at this.

He looked at the beautiful soft hands around his, holding the aarti plate in place and took a gulp as soon as he realized who it belonged to.
The contact made his breath hitch in his throat as he lifted up his gaze to look at the woman he wanted the most by his side today besides Mukku and a feeling of content filled his heart as he realized that kanhaji has finally fulfilled one of his wishes.
Though accidentally, but Anupama was by his side, holding his hand while offering prayer to kanhaji on this important day and this was more than enough for him.

The chants intensified as their eyes met and Anuj slowly rotated his hand along with hers, holding the aarti plate once but Anupama failed to notice it as her focus was on gripping the plate tightly rather than its movements.
She looked at Anuj in question if she could withdraw her hands and he smiled, giving her the go ahead.

As their hands parted, Anupama stood up straight beside Anuj while he continued with the aarti as the room reverberated with the chants of.....

This was when Anupama's eyes fell on a familiar man standing at the entrance of the hall looking at the scene furiously and her feet unknowingly took a few steps back from beside Anuj in consciousness realizing who it was.
Meanwhile, Anuj felt her absence beside him and noticed that she was standing a few steps back looking at something with a troubled expression on her face. He instantly followed her gaze and it fell on no one but Vanraj standing at the entrance with rage in his eyes.
He had no clue why Vanraj was here or how did he manage to surpass the security but one thing was for sure, he was upto no good as always.
He was about to signal Vikram to handle Vanraj but before he could, the sound of sankh filled the room, announcing the end of the aarti.
However, Anuj knew it was the beginning of something else. He slowly brought the aarti plate to his head in respect and then settled it down on the ground before the hawan kund with his eyes still fixed on Vanraj.
He was about to march towards the man at the entrance but before he could realize, Anupama was already there.
Hence, instead of walking upto Vanraj, he turned towards GK and Vikram standing behind him.
Anuj:- GK.....please aap saare guest ko buffet area me le jaiye.
He asked GK to take everyone for lunch in the dining area and GK grew perplexed at his request.
GK:- Lekin Anuj.....pehle sabko prasaad to le lene de.
He suggested but Anuj had no time for it.
Anuj:- GK please....Please understand.
He requested and Vikram looked at a restless Anuj in bewilderment.
Vikram:- Anuj.....kya hua?....Is everything alright?
He inquired and Anuj signaled towards Vanraj standing at the entrance with Anupama.
Vikram looked at the man and fumed at his audacity to walk in a function that was organized by the AK Group.
Vikram:- Yeh andar kaise ghusa?....Ise to mai abhi dekhta hoo.
He was about to go and teach Vanraj a lesson for breaching security but Anuj stopped him.
Anuj:- Vikram koi tamasha nahi.....mere dad bhale hi yaha na ho but aaj ka din unka hai....and I don't want any ruckus.
He declared in a firm tone and Vikram understood his sentiments though he was not convinced.
Vikram:- Tujhe lagta hai bina uske.....yeh Vanraj yaha se chala jaayega.
He argued, feeling concerned that Vanraj was here to do the same thing Anuj was trying to avoid.
Anuj:- Isiliye bol raha hoo....GK aap please sabko buffet area me leke jaiye.....tab tak mai aur Anupama ise calmly handle karne ki kosis karte hai.
He suggested and GK agreed this time without any further questions.
GK:- Theek hai Maan....I will take care of it.
He assured and walked away from the duo while Devika joined them.
Devika:- Tum log yeh kya secret plans bana rahe ho?
She asked, curious to know what the guys were talking about when Vikram turned her towards the scene that left her stunned.
Devika:- Yeh yaha?
She let out in anger and astonishment as her eyes fell on Vanraj but Anuj asked her to keep a check on herself.
Anuj:- Devika gussa control me please.
He requested and Devika nodded in understanding as she knew how important this day was for Anuj.
Devika:- As long as yeh koi bakwas nahi karta.....mai control me hi hoo.
She stated in assurance and Anuj knew that he can't ask much from her as she never listens to anyone when it's about her friends.
Anuj:- Mai aata hoo fir !!
He said in acknowledgement as he turned to leave but then stopped, noticing Kanta coming towards them.
Kanta:- Devika wo Vanraj yaha kya kar raha hai?....aur Anu....
She asked, walking upto Devika and Anuj could only understand her concern about her daughter.
Anuj:- Aunty please aap chinta mat kariye. Vanraj agar yaha aaya hai to mujhse milne aaya hoga.....Anupama se nahi....Mai dekhta hoon !!
He assured her and she nodded in a thank you before he left from there to go to Anupama.
Elsewhere, Anupama had walked upto Vanraj as soon as she saw him near the entrance.
She knew he was there to create a scene....after all it was his favorite thing to do. However, she couldn't let him spoil this big day for Anuj. Hence, she, herself, decided to deal with him without informing Devika, Vikram or anyone else and that too outside the premises of the site.
Meanwhile, there was only one thing Vanraj could think of right now and that was the sight that greeted him when he stepped into the hall…..the sight of Anuj and Anupama doing the aarti together….the sight that took him back to the time when it used to be him beside Anupama instead of Anuj…..and this was enough to fill him with rage.
He couldn't stand it. There was already so much of anger swirling inside his veins because of the settlement offer Anuj had sent him that the scene of Anupama and Anuj together performing a ritual only made it worse. The calm mind that he had come with in order to negotiate a deal with Anuj Kapadia was now raging with emotions of envy and he had no idea how to control it as he saw Anupama marching towards him.
Anu:- Mr. Shah.....aap yaha kyu aaye hai?
She inquired as she came and stood before him near the entrance but instead of replying, he accused her of having lost all manners.
Vanraj:- Yeh sawal mujhe tumse karna chahiye.....tum yaha Anuj Kapadia ke saath pooja me kyu baithi ho?.....bacchi kuchi sharam bhi bech di hai kya tumne?
He questioned and Anupama looked at him irked.
Anu:- Aap kya bole jaa rahe hai....aapko pata bhi hai !!
She said, asking him to mind his words but Vanraj was not the person who would ever listen.
Vanraj:- Wahi jo mai dekh raha hoo.....tum yaha puri duniya ke saamne Anuj Kapadia ka haath pakad ke aarti kar rahi ho....announce kar rahi ho ki tum uski....
He began with his allegations but before he could proceed further or go on a higher pitch, Anupama stopped him.
Anu:- Mr. Shah.....Aapko mujhse jo bhi baat karni hai....bahar chalke kijeye....yaha sabke saamne nahi.
She tried to address him and his allegations as calmly as possible, mindful of the people around but Vanraj had a different agenda.
Vanraj:- Sorry Anupama.....aaj mai tumse nahi.....tumahre Anuj se baat karne aaya hoo aur wo kiye bina mai yaha se kahi nahi jaunga.
He said and Anupama was about to ask him to not drag Anuj between their matters but before she could, Anuj interrupted her.
Anuj:- Jaanta hoo Vanraj....isiliye khud tumahre pass chalkar aa gaya.
He stated as he came and stood beside Anupama and she looked at him with concern, worried that his day will be spoiled again because of her but he gave her a look of assurance that it won't.
Seeing the duo exchange looks, Vanraj fumed in jealousy and his anger increased further when Anuj, kind of, ordered him to speak up.
Anuj:- Jo bolna hai.....jaldi bolo !!
He stated and Vanraj was about to warn him to keep his tone respectful but instead, he, himself, received the same advice from someone else.
Anu:- Mr. Shah....mai jaanti hoo....jo aap kehna chahte hai.....wo aap kehkar hi rahenge.....bas itni hi vinti hai ki kehte wakt.....tareeka aur shaleeka dono yaad rakhiyega.
Anupama reminded Vanraj but he dismissed her warning in a second.
Vanraj:- Mujhe bolne ke liye tumahre permission ki zarurat nahi hai Anupama.....Abhi tak mai pooja path ki wajah se chup tha.....tumahri wajah se nahi.
He stated but Anuj couldn't tolerate him disrespecting Anupama in any manner.
Anuj:- Mr. Shah please.....watch it.
He threatened but instead of backing down, Vanraj retorted with the same.
Vanraj:- You watch it Mr. Kapadia.
He yelled in anger and Anupama grew conscious of the people around the scene while Vikram, Devika and Kanta walked upto the entrance to try and control the situation.
Vikram:- Vanraj yeh tumahra ghar nahi hai.....jo bhi bolna hai aaram se bolo.
He tried to remind him in a calmer tone and for some reason, Vanraj understood this time.
Vanraj:- Fine.
He agreed and took out a torn envelope with the logo of AK Group from his pocket.
Holding it in front of them, he waited for a response but everyone just looked at it in silence wondering what it was.
Vanraj:- Kya hua?.....Pehchana nahi?
He questioned, looking at Anuj and Vikram while Anupama tried to avoid his games.
Anu:- Yeh kya hai?
She asked straight away but Vanraj gave her a cryptic answer.
Vanraj:- Mr. Anuj Kapadia ne mere lawyer ke through mujhe yeh bheja hai.
He replied and both Vikram and Anuj instantly understood the situation but Anupama was clueless.
Anu:- Par yeh hai kya?
She inquired again and this time Vanraj replied with a taunt.
Vanraj:- Yeh tum apne is dost se kyu nahi puchti?
He said and Anuj immediately jumped in before he could go on further.
Anuj:- This is that....umm?
He let out, wondering if it's the settlement offer their lawyer was supposed to hand over this morning and Vanraj confirmed it.
Vanraj:- Yeah....this is that.
He stated and Anupama looked at both Anuj and Vanraj in question.
Anuj:- In that case, mai aapko yeh bata du ki mai is settlement offer ke baare me aapse bina apne aur aapke lawyers ki maujoodgi ke baat nahi kar sakta.
He informed Vanraj and Anupama was perplexed by his statement.
She couldn't believe that Anuj had given Vanraj a settlement offer after all the insults and accusations Vanraj had thrown at him.
However, before she could think any further, Anuj spoke up affirming her doubts.
Anuj:- However, I must tell you Mr. Shah....jab bhi koi company ek accused ko deal deti hai apni galti ko sudharne ke liye.....to wo company ke head ko aake thanks karta hai.....ya mana karta hai.....par aap company ke head ko aake baar baar insult karne wale pehle accused hai.
He stated, addressing Vanraj's behaviour in a subtle yet stern tone and Vanraj got irked hearing this.
Vanraj:- Insult to tune ki hai meri Anuj Kapadia.....fir yeh mahaan hone ka....bade dil wala hone ka drama kyu?
He shouted and everyone who had gone to the buffet area started gathering at the juncture of the hall hearing the noise.
This didn't go unnoticed by GK and he urged Anuj to keep his calm.
GK:- Anuj please shaant rehna.... please shaant rehna.
He whispered but Anuj didn't pay any attention to it.
Anuj:- Mr. Shah aapne beauty pageants dekhe honge.....usme models jo aati hai....unko dekha hoga. Jeetne ke baad yeh models aksar aisa behave karti hai jaise unhone us pageant me kabhi hissa hi na liya ho.....aapka yeh misplaced anger naa jaane mujhe uski yaad kyu dila raha hai.
He began but as the conversation proceeded, the weeks of pent up anger in him started taking over his calm demeanor.
Anuj:- Yeh jo offer aapne apne haath me pakda hai aur sabko dikha rahe hai.....yeh offer khud par khud chalke aapke pass nahi aaya.....balki aapka lawyer khud chalkar mere office aaya tha.....yeh case settle karne ki request leke. Agar aaj acceptance ke baad aapko yaha aakar itni hi narazgi dikhani thi....itna hi gussa hona tha.....to fir khud apne lawyer ko mere office bheja hi kyu in the first place?
He questioned in a threatening tone and everyone around including Vikram and Devika understood that today, they shouldn't interfere while Kanta kept quiet not being able to comprehend what they were talking about.
Vanraj:- Maine apne lawyer ko tumahre office settlement offer ke liye bheja tha.....apni insult karane ka offer lene ke liye nahi.
However, Vanraj wasn't ready to back off and Anupama understood this.
Anu:- Yeh sari baatein office me bhi ho sakti hai.
She suggested, noticing the office crowd gathering in the hall and Vanraj got a whiff of her fears.
Vanraj:- Kyu?.....Jab yaha pe tum dono ka sab kuch khullam khulla chal raha hai....to yahi baat office ki chaar diwari me kyu?
He questioned, looking at her and both Anuj and Anupama lost their patience at his allegation.
Anuj & Anu :- MR. SHAH
They yelled, feeling infuriated by his remark and Vanraj let out a laugh leaving everyone shocked.
Vanraj:- Are baap re.....waah kya taalmel hai dono ka !! Tum dono ne to mera point khud hi prove kar diya.
He sneered and Anupama took a step ahead to stop him but before she could utter a word, Vanraj hurled another one of his insults at her.
Vanraj:- Waise manna padega Anupama.....college ki chingari der se hi sahi.....lekin bhadki bahut zor se.
He said with a smirk and both Anuj and Anupama looked at him in disgust.
However, this didn't stop him. He looked at the office crowd gathered near them and went on to smear Anupama's character in front of everyone.
Vanraj:- Tabhi to bina talent ya experience ke job mil gayi.....bina standard ke dosti mil gayi....aur aab is deal ke through mujhse badla lene ka mauka bhi mil raha hai......sirf isiliye kyuki kisiko tumpe college me crush aa gaya tha.
He added in a humiliating tone and Anupama was mortified by his statement.
She couldn't think straight. Her eyes were downcast in embarrassment but her ears could hear people around talking in hushed tones. Her fears were turning into a reality and she didn't know how to stop it.
Not knowing what to do or how to even look people in the eye, she stood their in silence and Anuj noticed this.
All his life, he had wanted his love to walk with her head held high but today seeing her standing with her eyes downcast in embarrassment broke his heart.
Anuj:- ENOUGH Vanraj....Yeh deal meri company aur tumahre beech ki baat hai.....isme Anupama ko beech me laane ki zaroorat nahi hai.
He said, trying to shift Vanraj's focus from Anupama but little did he know that Vanraj's entire agenda was breaking her into pieces and getting himself out of the case in the process.
Vanraj:- Use beech me leke tum aaye ho Anuj.....mai nahi !!
He retorted and Anuj looked at him in question.
Vanraj:- Tum chahte to mujhe aur Kavya ko MG Group case me witness bana ke ya fir monetary compensation badhake.....yeh case aasani se settle kar sakte the.....lekin nahi.....tumne aisa nahi kiya......tumne is deal me humse compensation to sirf aath lakh hi maanga lekin uski jagah Anupama ka badla lene ke liye.....isse maafi maangne ki shart bhi add kar di....waah Anuj Kapadia waah !!
He disclosed and Anupama was stunned by his revelation.
Did Anuj really ask Vanraj to apologize to her as a part of the deal?.....But why would he do this?.....Why would he compromise his business for her sake?
She wondered and looked at Anuj in question.
Meanwhile, Vanraj noticed her doubtful gaze on Anuj and mistook it for an accusation.
Vanraj:- In sab se to yahi zaahir hota hai na Anuj Kapadia ki tum Anupama se....
He further tried to provoke Anupama but Anuj jumped in before he could sow more doubts in everyone's mind by misrepresenting the facts.
Anuj:- Ki mai kya?....huh?
He questioned Vanraj and went on to remind him of the real terms of the settlement offer.
Anuj:- Lagta hai tumne deal dhyaan se padhi nahi Vanraj.
Tumhe sirf Anupama se nahi.....mere office ke har ek employee....jiske saath tumne galat kiya hai......un sabse maafi maangni padegi.....be it the research team jinse tumne yeh bids churaye.....the board of directors jinki company ko tumne stake pe daala.....and Anupama Joshi.....jise tumne apne jhoote fraud case me fasaane ki kosis ki.
He stated, clearing everyone's doubts and Anupama closed her eyes in relief as she realized her name wasn't especially put in the agreement.
Anuj:- Aur agar tumhe lag raha hai ki mai yeh sab shartein deal me rakh ke tumse badla le raha hoo......well in that case, you are right Vanraj Shah.....mai badla le raha hoo.....lekin Anupama ka nahi....apni company ka.
He further added and Vanraj looked at him with rage as he failed his plans.
Vanraj:- Agar tumhe apni company ka badla lena hota Anuj Kapadia to tum paise maangte mujhse.....uski jagah Anupama se maafi nahi mangwate.
He said, trying to get back at Anuj but before Anuj could say something, Vikram let out a small chuckle at his statement.
Vikram:- Aur kitne paise hai tumahre pass Vanraj AK Group ko dene ke liye?.....ek crore.....das crore.......Tumahri wajah se meri company ne jo project khoya hai.....uski minimum value thi 100 crores.....lauta paoge mujhe tum utne paise?.....huh?
He scoffed at Vanraj and Vanraj was about to retort in agitation when Anuj interrupted him.
Anuj:- Tumhe safai dene ki zaroorat mai nahi samajhta Vanraj lekin agar tumne baat shuru hi ki hai to bata du.....ki humne compensation kam rakkha tha kyuki mai aur Vikram nahi chahte the.....ki tumahri family pe ya tumahre baccho pe uska financial burden pade.....because.....let's be clear Vanraj.......your career in the corporate world is over and you are never getting a job here.
He said, trying to end this conversation as soon as possible but Vanraj was not done.
Vanraj:- Meri family aur baccho ki care karne ka dhong na tum kisi aur ke saamne karna....kyuki mai acchi tarah se jaanta hoo....tum jaise bade businessman.....kisiki family ke baare me nahi.....bas khud ke fayde ke baare me sochte hai.
He accused Anuj of acting generous and Anuj rolled his eyes at the allegation.
Anuj:- Is that true?....Okay.
He questioned and took a pause before calling out Vanraj on his remark.
Anuj:- Fir tum mujhe yeh batao ki yeh offer tumhe dene me mera kya fayda hai?
He asked, adjusting his glasses on the bridge of his nose and Vanraj smirked as he turned his gaze to Anupama who was standing there in silence with fear and anxiety clearly visible on her face.
Vanraj:- Tumahre sabse bada fayda to mere saamne khada hai.....jiski nazaro me tum mahaan banne ke liye yeh sab kar rahe ho.....Tumahra bachpan ka pyaar.....jo is umar me rang laa raha hai.
He commented and Anupama could control herself no more.
Anu:- VANRAJ SHAH
She shouted in a loud tone but her voice choked as anger and disgust filled her from within.
Anu:- Agar aap mere baccho ke pita nahi hote na....to aisii ghatiya baat sunne pe mai kya karti....yeh mujhe.....mujhe khud bhi nahi pata.
She threatened Vanraj as she gulped a sob and Anuj's eyes welled up with tears seeing her sound so broken.
Enough was enough.
He decided to call the security when Vanraj spoke up.
Vanraj:- Yeh jo tumahri khokli dhamkiya hai na......wo tum apne pass rakkho......na tum kuch kar sakti ho aur na hi yeh tumahra Anuj Kapadia kuch kar sakta hai......Kyuki mera lawyer bewakoof ho sakta hai.....lekin mai nahi hoo.
He retorted to Anupama's threat and both Anuj and Vikram wondered what he meant by his last statement but soon Vanraj cleared their doubts.
Vanraj:- Mujhe acchi tarah se pata hai ki agar mai witness nahi bana.....to tumahri yeh compay MG Group wala case haar jaayegi.....aur mai witness tab tak nahi banunga jab tak tum log is deal se Anupama ka naam nahi hata dete.
He declared and Vikram was shocked as he realized Vanraj knew about their plan while Anuj composed himself to address Vanraj's ultimatum.
Anuj:- Tum hume dhamki de rahe ho Vanraj?
He questioned, reminding Vanraj who he was threatening but Vanraj wasn't the one to back down.
Vanraj:- Dhamki nahi de raha hoo......bata raha hoo ki mere career ka to pata nahi.....lekin agar tune apne so called pyaar ko apni company ke upar rakkha to....teri yeh jo unbiased businessman hone ki jo image hai na Anuj Kapadia wo tere board of directors ke saamne zaroor over ho jaayegi.
He answered, looking at Anupama and she turned away her eyes in repugnance while Anuj stopped him from going further.
Anuj:- Aur tumhe lagta hai ki mere board of directors ek fraud ki baat sunenge?
He reminded Vanraj of his credit in the business world and Vanraj grinned at his statement.
Vanraj:- Board of directors nahi to kya hua.....bahar khadi media to sunegi.
He warned Anuj and Anupama's heart sank at the threat but Vanraj didn't stop.
Vanraj:- Isiliye tujhe ek din ka time de raha hoo.....tab tak tujhe jo karna hai kar.....mohabbat karni hai kar......Anupama se matalab rakhna hai rakh.....besharam hoke rakhna hai rakh....
He continued hurling insults at the duo and Anuj couldn't take it anymore.
Anuj:- VANRAJ
He bellowed in anger but Vanraj didn't stop.
Vanraj:- Lekin agli baar jab deal bhejna to yaad rakhna.....usme is aurat ka naam kya.....zikr bhi nahi hona chahiye.
He reminded Anuj of his conditions but Anuj was in no mood to hear them.
Anuj:- BAKWAS BAND KAR APNI.....Aur isse pehle ki mai apni tameez bhul jau.....GET OUT !!
He dismissed Vanraj's warning in a terrifying bawl and asked him to leave before he lost his patience while Vanraj looked at him in exasperation.
Vanraj:- Jaa raha hoo.....mujhe tum dono ki shakal dekhne ka waise bhi koi shauk nahi hai !!
He said and leaned a little towards Anupama on his way back.
Vanraj:- Get it done.....nahi to tum jaanti hi ho mai jo kehta hoo wo karne me time nahi lagaata.
He whispered to her in a warning and walked out the hall while Anupama kept looking at his retreating figure in distress.
She couldn't even fathom moving her eyes to look at anyone else for she knew all those people would have accusations and questions in their mind that she doesn't have the guts to answer right now.
For her, it was the same feeling all over again when Vanraj humiliated her in front of the entire office on the day of the bid leak. Only this time, it felt a thousand times worse.
She could hear those people, their whispers, the gossiping, the questions and all she wanted to do right now was to run away to a far-far place.
Meanwhile, Anuj stood there in silence looking at Devika, Vikram and Kanta rushing to Anupama's aid. He too wanted to go but considering what happened a while ago, he stopped himself and waited for Anupama to speak up.
However, Anupama didn't move a muscle while everyone kept calling her name. She stood there numb not responding to any of them. Her eyes were lifeless and there was nothing in them.....nothing.....not even tears.
The emptiness in her was haunting Anuj and he couldn't see her like that anymore.
Not wasting a second, he approached her but as soon as he came close, Anupama took a step ahead and moved past him to walk out of the hall.
Her behaviour surprised everyone especially Anuj and he wondered if Vanraj was successful in making her doubt their friendship.
Wanting to talk to her himself, he asked everyone to wait in the hall and they hesitantly agreed.
Anuj:- Aap log yahi rukiye.....mai Anupama se baat karta hoo !!!
He said and walked out of the community hall in search of Anupama while Devika and GK consoled Kanta and Vikram got busy in handling the guest.
Soon Anuj spotted Anupama pacing towards the under construction buildings within the premises and followed her.
Anuj:- Anupama....wait.
He shouted, wanting to catch her attention but Anupama kept walking without turning around.
Anuj:- Anu.....meri baat to suno.
He let out in a loud voice as he almost reached her but she ignored him again.
Not wanting to leave her alone in such a condition, he blocked her way and Anupama was forced to face him.
Anu:- Anuj......please mujhe is wakt akela chhod dijeye.....mujhe kisise baat nahi karni hai.
She requested but Anuj was adamant to not leave her alone.
Anuj:- Anu....please ek baar meri baat sun lo.....mai nahi chahta tha ki yeh sab ho....
He pleaded, asking her to listen for once but Anupama interrupted him before he could finish.
Anu:- Lekin hua na Anuj.....wo bhi meri wajah se....
She said, blaming herself for the fiasco and Anuj couldn't believe her.
Anu:- Aapko us deal me mera naam nahi dalna chahiye tha.....uski wajah se kitna kuch sunna pada aapko aur kaka...
She further added but Anuj stopped her.
Anuj:- Anu....Tumahri wajah se kuch nahi...
He tried to convince her that it's not her fault but she didn't listen.
Anu:- Aap samjhte kyu nahi hai Anuj.....my life is a circus and you don't wanna be a part of it.
She said with a choking voice and Anuj was hurt by her words.
Anuj:- I don't want to be a part of it or you don't want me to be a part of it ?
He questioned, coming close to her and Anupama remained silent, not wanting to respond.
Anuj:- Because as far as I am concerned you don't get to decide what I do or do not want.
He reminded her that he is capable of making his own decisions but Anupama didn't want to talk about it right now.
Anu:- I don't need you here.....so please.....leave me alone for now.
She said in a cold voice and Anuj left her way, not wanting to bug her anymore.
Anuj:- As you wish.
He stated, stepping aside and Anupama looked at him for one last time with apologetic eyes before she moved past him to go on her way.
Her heart knew that she wanted nothing more but for him to be a part of her life but her mind as always reasoned that after what Vanraj did today, her association with him would only cause him trouble and nothing more.
Kyu?.....Jab yaha pe tum dono ka sab kuch khullam khulla chal raha hai....to yahi baat office ki chaar diwari me kyu?
Waise manna padega Anupama.....college ki chingari der se hi sahi.....lekin bhadki bahut zor se.
Tabhi to bina talent ya experience ke job mil gayi.....bina standard ke dosti mil gayi....aur aab is deal ke through mujhse badla lene ka mauka bhi mil raha hai......sirf isiliye kyuki kisiko tumpe college me crush aa gaya tha.
Tumahre sabse bada fayda to mere saamne khada hai.....jiski nazaro me tum mahaan banne ke liye yeh sab kar rahe ho.....Tumahra bachpan ka pyaar.....jo is umar me rang laa raha hai.
Tab tak tujhe jo karna hai kar.....mohabbat karni hai kar......Anupama se matalab rakhna hai rakh.....besharam hoke rakhna hai rakh....
The entire scene kept flashing before her eyes as she walked into an under construction building, completely oblivious of her surroundings.
All she could see in front of her were stairs and she walked up those without even thinking where they were leading to.
She just wanted to get away from the noise, the whispers and the gossips but the sound of it followed her everywhere.
Mujhe to laga tha Anuj sir aur Anupama Jii sirf dost hai but yeh to ex-lovers nikle !!
Mujhe to lagta hai in dono ke beech abhi bhi kuch hai.

Anupama Jii humari colleague hai aur Anuj sir humare boss.....jo kuch bhi hai wo unka personal matter hai.....aur us Vanraj Shah ki baaton me aake hume Anupama Jii pe shak nahi karna chahiye.....after all wo ek fraud hai aur Anupama Jii ka ex bhi !!
Vanraj Shah bhale fraud ho lekin ek baat to usne sahi kahi.....Anupama Jii ko yeh job sirf isiliye mili hai kyuki wo Anuj sir ke close hai.....otherwise kaha mauka milta hai aise inexperienced logo ko itni badi company ke CEO ke saath kaam karne ka.

The words pricked her ears and she couldn't take it anymore.
Leaning on the railing of a balcony of an open under construction flat, she gave an outlet to the storm brewing inside her.
Why Does He Always Have To Do This? Why?......Why Does He Have To Always Make My Life Hell?.....Why?....Why?
She shouted at the top of her voice but all she received was silence in return.
She was done with everything.....tired of fighting the same battle again and again.....tired of responding to people's allegations and insults.....tired of losing herself in the process.
Mai kho chuki thi khud ko saalo pehle......fir bhi.....fir bhi.....pacchees saal baad maine khud ko dhunda.....apne sapno ko jagaya.....chalna seekha....aage badhna seekha.....lekin har baar kyu.....kyu unhone mujhe peeche kheechne ki kosis ki?
Kya milta hai unhe yeh sab karke?.....Mujhe aise sabke saamne beizzat karke.....mere baccho ko mujhse dur karke.....kya milta hai unko?....sab kuch to de diya maine unhe.....bacche parivaar sab kuch.....badle me unse kuch maanga tak nahi....aab kya chahiye unhe mujhse?....kyu karte hai wo yeh sab?......why just can't he leave me alone?.....why?
She questioned the man or rather herself for letting him do this to her again and again.
This wasn't the first time she was feeling this kind of anger and resentment but for the first time, she wanted to cry out loud and let her emotions loose but she couldn't do it. She couldn't shed a single tear or let out a loud scream.....she just couldn't.
The emotional turmoil she was going through from the last two months was breaking her from inside and the habit of shutting herself down was choking her bit by bit but she couldn't let the frustration out nor could she keep it in.
Exhausted, weak and broken, she leant more onto the railing for support but before she could realize, the iron structure, she was leaning onto, collapsed and she was almost about to fall when someone grabbed her hand and pulled her into an embrace.
An embrace which was just made for her....where she perfectly fitted….where she belonged to !!
