𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐒, Washington had always been her mother's favorite home. Evelyn always knew that someday, her mother and their little family would move back eventually to Washington after deserting Eli Silva in London for his own selfish behavior. It was only about three months after Evelyn's younger sister walked in on their father and his mistress in his bed, urging their mother for a divorce and seperation, winning full custody of her kids. Despite not being born in England, it was basically like home to their mother since she followed their father all the way to a different country to build a family. Until it all got ruined that very day, a very messy situation between all of them that lead to their mom planning for them to move back to Washington.
Wherein they were all set to move, Evelyn was not. Back in her home, she was leaving her life. Her friends, her father despite the fact she can barely tolerate every inch of him, her boyfriend who was nothing but good to her. So, it may have come as a shock to everyone she loved that she was going to the States and to never come back again. It would have been for the best, she didn't want her mother to feel awful enough as it is by seperating her children from their friends. Evelyn let herself believe she was excited when all she wanted was to return to the time when her father didn't cheat and they were all living under one roof.
But all good comes to an end, replacing it by a very nocturnal family who just can't seem to leave her alone despite their every effort to maintain distance, especially a flawlessly beautiful girl in most of her classes.
