"STU?" YOU GASPED after slowly looking up
"Y/N." He let out an airy laugh, "Oh, my God." You cried as you embraced him in a hug, "Where the hell have you been?" You asked, not letting go of him in fears this might be a dream
"Can you slap me?" You asked, finally looking at him
"What?" He asked, face full of confusion, "Please, I wanna make sure this isn't a dream." You explained, Stu blankly stared at you before gently pulling you in for another hug, "Do you really think this is a dream?" He questioned after the hug, "I hope not." You smiled before hugging him one more time
"Why are you here all by yourself? You okay?" He asked, "Oh, we're here for Randy, and Sid's on the phone with Derek." You answered, "Derek?" He question and just then, Derek, Sid and Mickey walked in through the front doors
"No way." Mickey said, stopping in his tracks to get a good look at the tall figure next to you, "Stu?" Sid questioned, "Sid." He replied, "Who's this?" Derek asked Sidney
"It's Stuart, the guy who was proven innocent but never showed his face until now." Sidney explained before turning to Stuart, "Sorry." She apologized awkwardly, Stu just nodded
"Where have you been?" Mickey asked Stu, "I mean, why hide if proven innocent?" He stared at Stu, "It's complicated." Stu simply said, "Too complicated to visit your 'girlfriend' in the hospital?" Mickey said
"You got a problem?" Stu stood up, "Just a simple question, man." Mickey mockingly threw his arms up in defense, "Stu, sit down please." You said, resting your hand on your head. Stu looked at you for a second before obeying
"We actually have to get going." Sid informed you, "Where are you going?" You asked, "Away." Sidney replied, "I'm not really sure but after a threat I got in the library, Dewey wants me to go somewhere ghostface won't find me." She explained
"Is anyone going with you?" You asked, "Hallie." She answered, "Dewey practically begged for you and Tate to come with but he knows how stubborn you guys are." She laughed, "He's not wrong." Stu joked, "Shut up." You laughed
"Are you gonna be okay?" You stood up, "As long as I'm away from this fucker." She said, "Okay, you call if you need anything, got it." You said standing up, "Got it." She smiled before hugging you as tight as she could
"You be safe too, okay?" Sid said, not letting go, "Tate and Randy too." She added, finally letting go of your body, "You too, Stu." She went to hug him, "I will." Stu hugged back
"Love you." you told Sidney, "Love you." She smiled back
"We'll see ya'll." Derek saluted off before opening the door for Sid and Mickey
"Bye." You waved then sitting back down
"That Mickey guy is.." Stu dragged out, "Too much?" You finished for him, "Way too much." He laughed before turning to look at you
"Y/N, I'm so sorry for leaving you after that night in Woodsboro." He said, "I just thought that if they found me in the house too, they'd think I actually killed people." He explained, "It just didn't look good on my end." He sighed
"I understand." You replied, "But not really." You added, "Why have you been hiding even after you've been proven innocent?" You asked
"I was worried about the way others would look at me. Like I'm some sort of monster." His gazed switched from you to the ground, "You're not a monster. My mother and Billy Loomis were monsters." You said, grabbing a hold of his hand
"Manipulation happens." You said, "But it doesn't happen like that." He sighed, feeling terrible for the Woodsboro incidents
"I should've went to the cops before Casey's death, I should've went even after. I should've went." He began to rant, "Stu" You called, he just looked up at you without saying a word
"It's not your fault." You told him, "No matter how much you think it's your fault, it's not." You comforted him
"I'm gonna have this guilt for the rest of my life, Y/N." He cried, "I will help you conquer that guilt, okay? Because none of that was your fault." You hugged Stu
"Till death do us part, okay?" You said, still hugging the poor boy
"Till death do us part." He repeated, not daring to release from the hug
Footsteps getting closer to you two made the hug break apart, "Stuart?" Tatum called, "Hey, Tatum." He awkwardly scratched his head before getting up to gently hug the girl
"I see you have conquered your fears." She said, "How's Randy?" You asked, "Good, he's resting right now." She smiled, "I just came to let you know I'm gonna stay the night here." She said
"Okay, yeah." You nodded, "Sid left with Derek not too long ago." You said, "Where to?" Tatum asked, taking a seat next to you, "I'm not sure. She got a threat in the school library and Chief made her go somewhere 'safe'." You explained with air quotes
"She mentioned that Dewey begged for me and you to go along but knew we were too stubborn for it." You chuckled, "He's not wrong." She giggled
"You and Randy?" Stu poked his head out to see Tatum, finally putting the pieces together, "Yez, Stuart." Tatum giggled
She always liked calling Stu Stuart, it was funny to her.
"I should get back to Randy. Will you guys be okay?" Tate asked you and Stu, "We'll be fine, we'll just stay at the dorm." You shrugged, "Do you want us to grab food for you really quick?" You asked
Tate thought about the offer for a good minute before denying, "I'm okay, you guys should get some rest." She said as she stood up. You and Stu stood up slowly after her and began to say your goodbyes for the night
"We'll check back tomorrow but if you need anything, call." You said, "Will do. Same goes for you two." She said, "Love you." Tatum told you, "Love you." You replied with a smile before exiting the hospital with Stu
"She still has this old thing, huh?" Stu looked at Tatum's cute punch buggy car, "Yup." You giggled before unlocking the doors
You got in with ease but Stu on the other hand struggled due to how tall he is
"You okay?" You laughed at the boy who didn't know where to put his hands or legs, "I'm good.. The dorms aren't that far, right?" He questioned, "Like 3 minutes." You shrugged
"Let's get going then." He said, finally managing to shut the door
"Everything hurts." Stuart complained as he slowly got out of the car to stretch, "Poor thing." You sarcastically sympathized.
While grabbing your things from Tates car, your phone buzzed. Pulling it out of your pocket to check, you seen a picture of Derek tied to a prop from sid's play. He's passed out but with someone holding a knife in front of him
"What the fuck?" You dropped your purse, "What?" Stu asked, still stretching, "We gotta go." You said, "Why? We just got here." Stu said, "Sids in trouble, we gotta go." You scrambled to get back in the car
Stu groaned before squeezing back into the uncomfortable position
"Can't we just walk?" He asked, "I get that Sidney is in danger but would a walk hurt anyone?" He complained as you started up the car
"Yeah, Sidney." You replied, reversing the car, "Walking will take too long." You stepped on the pedal, "It's a 2 minute walk." He sighed, holding on to the handle bar
You got the the auditorium to see Derek in the same exact position as he was in the picture. It was dark, the only source of light on Derek.
"Shit." You whispered, "Watch my back?" You turned to Stu, "What? No I'm not letting you go by yourself, it's clearly a trap." Stu whispered back, "Please, Stu." You begged, "Derek is my friend and I could never forgive myself if anything happened to him." You said
"I have this just in case." You slowly pulled out a knife, "Be safe." Stu finally gave in, "I will." You said before slowly creeping towards Derek, once you got there you tried to wake him up but he wouldn't budge
"Derek. Cmon wake up." You said, trying to cut the rope off of the boy, that's when someone snuck up behind you
You wasted no time facing your knife right at their throat but quickly put it down when you noticed it was Sidney. She was in a panic
"Y/N." She cried, "Hallie's.." She couldn't get out, "It's okay, we've gotta get Derek out quickly and we'll be okay." You reassured the sobbing girl who nodded in response
"Do you have yours?" You held up the knife, Sid shook her head, "Cops took it from me before I went to wherever the hell I was going." She stammered, "Okay, here." You handed her the knife, "You use that and I'll see if I can possibly untie it from the back." You said, Sidney nodded once more before trying her best to cut Derek free
Until we heard another voice that wasn't Stu.
