"you guys just stay here. i'm gonna get the car" dewey told you three before rushing to his car

tatum stood in the middle of you and sid, her left arm over your shoulder and her right over sids

she rubbed both of your shoulders when you guys heard, "there they are!" the three of you jumped before turning to see gale weathers

tatum rolled her eyes before fully turning around to face gale

"hi, that's some night. what happened? are you two all right?" gale asked you and sid, shoving a microphone in both your faces

"they're not answering any questions, all right? just leave us alone" tate spoke shoving the microphone away

the four of you got in the car and drove to the riley's household in silence

"i'll be right next door. try to get some sleep" dewey told the girls, "yeah, yeah" tate waved him off

"do you really think billy did it?" you finally asked while the house phone rang, "he was there, y/n/n" sidney answered, "he was destined to have a flaw, i knew he was too perfect" tatum said

shortly after tate said that, knocking was heard at the door

"telephone, honey" mrs riley told tate, "who is it?" she asked, "for y/n and sid" mrs riley answered, "our parents?" sidney asked, "i don't think so" mrs riley sadly answered

"take a message" tatum suggested, "no, um, we'll get it" sid said as she got off the bed with you following
