another rewrite of the movie, scream 6 spoilers

Listen to: Karma - Taylor Swift

Although it was risky, you decided to go to the party in your suit, but you knew that almost all of them were drunk and couldn't tell the difference. You were invited by quite a bit of the guys from that frat, you were well liked and known but not popular within this big university.

You managed to stay sober, despite the amount that you've drank. It impressed people. "Hey," You turned to see a good friend of yours, Anika. "You know Frankie, right? We need help with Tara." She grabbed your wrist and started pulling you somewhere.

"What's going on?"

"He's trying to take her upstairs." You knew Tara, you kinda sorta had a crush on her, she was in a class with you, despite you being a year older than her.

"Frankie!" You called out, catching the attention of the two on the stairs and a few other people who managed to hear you over the music.

"What's up, Parker?" He took a few steps down to look at you, specifically your body that was fitted into the suit. "Nice costume."

You faked a smile. "What do you think you're doing?" You held out your hand for Tara to take. "Come on, Tara, let me take you home."

"Nah, man, she's coming with me." You raised an eyebrow, unimpressed with him. "We're going up for some more drinks." He wiggled his eyebrows, you knew he was slightly drunk but he was sober enough to know what he was doing.

"Yeah, that's not happening." You grabbed Tara's wrist and gently tugged her towards you. She was happy to tumble into your arms, but Frankie's grip on her other wrist didn't let her. "Let go, Frankie, you don't wanna know what could happen next."

"I mean," He looked at you up and down, you clenched your jaw as you started to get a little more pissed off. "I could take you both up there, if you want." He shrugged, letting go of Tara. You tugged her down to you, handing her off towards Anika.

"Oh, you wanna fuck me?" You raised your voice, standing up a few steps. "Do you wanna fuck me and a freshman, Frankie?" You made sure that you were loud enough to get people's attention. Before he could say anything or do anything, you swung your fist and it connected with his nose. You just scoffed and stepped down, while he stumbled into the steps and some people.

He got up, trying to shake off the fact that his nose was bleeding. He puffed up his chest to you, trying to size you up. Despite you being a bit shorter than him, you were known not to be messed with from people in your high school. "I can get you banned."

"You think that's a threat?" You smirked and chuckled. "Frankie, it's one against almost the whole frat, I know too much for you to ban me." You shoved him towards the wall. Despite you being smaller than him, and most of the frat boys, everyone knew not to mess with you. You were good with fighting but even better with words.

"Fuck you." His hand swung around to punch you, but your senses caused you to duck and he missed. He overswung his arm, making him stumble. A bunch of 'oohs' went around when he missed, you took his short period of unbalance as a way to kick him over. He managed to get up and go after you.

Right before you could do anything else, Sam swept in and decided to take over. You turned to Tara, who seemed to be sobering up. "Are you okay?" She nodded, thanking you before walking off. You glanced to Anika, who now wore Ethan's hat but was confused and shrugged. You made a face and followed after her with Sam.

You tried to help out with them, but you weren't able to help out as much as you thought. "Come on, y/n, we need to fix up your fist." Tara grabbed your wrist and pulled you along. Your hands never split apart, causing a warmth to arise in your stomach.

"No- Tara, it's fine-" You knew that your fist was healing already. "Are you okay though? That guy has some serious grip."

______

You knocked onto the door with some pills in hand. Quinn and Tara looked at you as their laughter died down. "I'm gonna go." Quinn got up. "And let you guys chat." She smiled and walked off, closing the door behind her while you placed the pills on the table.

"Thanks." She smiled at you, you just leaned onto her desk and looked at her. "You could go back, I think the fighting is done for tonight."

"That sucks, I really wanted to-" You mimicked a small fight as you got up and headed to sit beside her. "He deserved worse than a few punches and a taser."

"Oh yeah?" She taunted, eyes never leaving you. "Thanks, for saving me from going up those stairs. I was just really messed up, more than I thought."

"It's not the first time he's done that before." You leaned onto your hands, avoiding her eyes. "So, if you feel bad about it, don't. I really don't mind saving yet another girl from being date raped by Frankie."

"Oh? You've done this before?" She was now curious. She's known about you, the lovable Y/n Parker. Smart, strong, pretty and outspoken, but you were pretty much mysterious. She's heard a lot of rumors about you and your past, and was always drawn to you, but she never really spoke to you. She just noticed you, every class, and would wave and smile at you. She knew that a lot of the frat boys owed you, and always wanted to have you at parties.

"Yeah, a lot, like a lot." Your lips frowned slightly. "My best friend, Gwen Stacy, she almost went up with him, but I had to stop her. Frankie always tries this with freshmen, but I get called up almost every time. This was the first time I actually did something to him."

You were out of your suit, it was in a small bag that Sam gave you for the time being, your hair flipping over your shoulder as you looked over at her. "What makes me different? Why'd you hit him this time? How's your fist doing?" She grabbed your hand to look at the bruise, barely any bruising there.

"My fist is fine, don't worry about it." You reassured. "I guess, I just really didn't want Frankie to get to you." You admitted, feeling a little relieved at the truth.

"But you saved all those other girls without fighting..." She made eye contact with you, as if she was looking into your eyes for the truth.

You smiled and looked away. "Well, all those girls aren't you." You looked at her, stuck on her. "And I think that you're really special." Your eyes flicked to her lips before moving back to her eyes.

"I'm not messed up anymore." She mumbled, leaning ever so slightly.

"Are you?" You smiled, getting even closer.

Right before your lips could touch, Quinn barged into the room, saying something about her phone. You pulled away and stood up. She smiled awkwardly with her hands clasped together. "Did I cockblock you?"

Tara's head turned to Quinn right away. "What did you just say?"

"Cockblocked you- I cockblocked you, didn't I?"

"Oh my god." You groaned. You and Tara just kept on telling her to stop while she kept asking if she cockblocked the two of you.

"What did you need?" Tara asked, Quinn made a face as she bent down to grab something.

"My phone!"

"Don't ever enter into a room like that again." You just laughed and shook your head. Quinn apologized once more, leaving the room.

"Anyway," You turned back around to Tara, pointing to her. "Your sister, she tased him in the balls. She's really-"

"Overprotective?"

"I was gonna say careful or cautious, but that works." You shrugged, making Tara laugh. "Look, Sam just really wants to keep you safe, and it's nice to have that someone."

"Do you have that someone?"

"I am that someone." You slowly padded your way to the door. "I lost my parents as a kid, so my aunt was on my ass, and then I lost her too. I don't- I protect people I care about, I'm that person for them. Sam is for you, so, please don't go all haywire over her all the time." Tara chuckled and nodded. "Also, can I ask?"

"Ask what?" She hummed, leaning forward and looking at you.

"I mean, what happened? I heard things, but I wanna know from you." Your hands clasped together. "You don't have to tell me, I just- I heard when you two were arguing and I got curious-"

Tara waved her hands. "No, it's fine." She went on to tell you the whole story about how she was attacked and stabbed seven times. She told you about her psycho best friend and everything. It was shocking, and you admired her strength to get through it.

"Holy shit! You're badass!" You exclaimed. "And that's something I usually don't say, but holy shit!" Your webshooter, disguised as a watch, started to beep, signaling that you were needed somewhere. "Crap, I have to go. See you, Tara!"

_____

You panted as you climbed into the window, you gulped and looked out the side of it. You watched as the gang get confused, running back to where you came from. You let out a sigh of relief, shutting your eyes. You hear someone clear their throat, causing your eyes to shoot open to look at the people behind you.

"Oh shit!" You exclaimed, putting your hands up as Sam pointed her taser towards you. They were all holding something and pointing at you. "Okay, look-"

"Give me three reasons why I shouldn't tase you right now." Sam warned.

"I'm Spiderwoman, you don't tase me!"

"She's got a point." Chad commented.

"But it could be a phony trying to break in." Mindy argued.

You scoffed. "Do you need me to prove it to you? You can trust me." You tried to reassure them, but they still held their guard. "Fine." You grumbled, jumping up and sticking to the ceiling. "Is this enough proof?" You got down, landing perfectly on your feet. They still kept their guard up, making you sigh once more. "Come on, you know me."

"No, we don't." Tara was ready. "I could call our roommates dad, who's a detective."

"Don't!" You stopped her, slipping off your mask to reveal your identity.

"Y/n?" They all exclaimed. You winced a little at their volume.

"Yeah, it's me. Now can you please put the shit down." You still had your hands up. "I really don't wanna do anything about this."

Everyone relaxed and dropped everything, going back to what they were doing. Chad and Mindy started to grill you about everything, to which you reluctantly answered. Quinn handed Sam her phone, and soon enough, her and Tara both had to leave.

______

You had your headphones on, bopping your head slightly at some music that was playing as you took pictures around the park. While in the midst of taking a picture, you were grabbed by the shoulders and shoved to sit down. You stumbled onto the bench with a slight yelp. You took off the headphones and looked around to see them all gathered up once more. "What is going on?"

"This," Mindy pointed to you. "Is the reason why I'm not fully sure about the rules and what makes this one so different than the last sequel."

"Huh?" You were so confused, you looked to Tara for some help, but she just shrugged. "Did I do something?"

"Now, we're in a franchise, but it's weird involving someone that doesn't belong to this franchise!" She pointed to you once more. "A superhero!"

You sat up and hushed her. "You don't just say that out loud, Mindy, it's called a secret identity for a reason!" You scolded.

"My bad," She apologized. "We may be suspects, but spidergirl here isn't."

"And why is that?" Ethan popped in.

You all just turned to him, staring at him. "Ethan, come on, it's so obvious."

"What if the superhero thing is really just a way to cover up being a murderer."

You just blinked at him. "What?" You were so confused. "I've been doing this thing for like, five years, since I was 16. I'm not gonna switch up because of some murders that happened across the country." You explained. "Plus, I have a no killing rule. I've lost too many people, and I don't wanna be the reason someone lost someone. No offense."

"None taken, but we're gonna need your help with figuring out who the killer is." You raised an eyebrow.

Your webshooter buzzed. "Crap, I need to go." You got up, suddenly remembering what you needed to do. You handed Tara a piece of paper. "Tara, here's my number. Call me if you guys need me."

"Wait!" You were stopped before you could go off. "Where are you going?"

"Duty calls." You ran off, heading somewhere so that you could change into your suit.

"How is that not suspicious!" Ethan exclaimed, drawing the attention to him once more.

______

"Tara, call y/n." Sam told her sister, they all stared at the picture of Quinn getting attacked. "Now!"

"I'm trying, she isn't picking up!" Quinn's body bursted through the door with ghostface trailing behind her.

You were swinging your way to make sure they were okay, your phone kept on buzzing from Tara constantly calling you. You broke through the window and used your webs to pull ghostface from dragging the knife any higher on Anika. "Go!" You yelled, fighting off ghostface. You managed to get a good swing in before running off with them.

You never saw so much blood around, it was horrifying, but you sucked it up and helped them keep the doors shut by webbing it up and putting something to block it off. Sam pulled the ladder from the boy next door, you slipped out of the window and onto the wall to web it up. You also shot a web across to become a safety handle for them. "You have to go one at a time!" He yelled as you slipped back inside to help Mindy keep it shut.

They all started to argue about who was going to go first, Mindy insisting that Sam goes first. "I'll keep it shut! I'll help them get there. Go! Sam!" You instructed, leaning against the dresser.

Sam nodded, slowly crawling onto the ladder. It started to shake, yes it was somewhat stable, but it was able to bend at the middle at anytime. You noticed that Anika was bleeding a lot more. "Mindy, keep it shut, I'm going to try and help Anika."

"What do you think I've been doing!" You just shook it off and went over to help her. You switched the type of webbing to one that you created to help with stabs and bullet wounds.

You ripped off a piece of cloth from the blanket for Anika to bite. "This is going to hurt, you're going to need this." She nodded and placed it into her mouth. She started to scream into the cloth as you started to patch it up. "Okay, this is just to stop the bleeding, but you still need to go to the hospital. I'll take you guys myself, okay?" She nodded, unable to speak from the pain. You motioned for Mindy to help pick her up and bring her to the ladder. "You have to go, Anika."

They both started to argue, wanting the other to go first. Soon enough, Mindy went ahead. You let go of the dresser to help Anika stay up and as conscious as possible until she was able to go through. There was a crash, you turned to see that ghostface managed to make it through the door. You cursed softly, trying to get Anika up on the ladder. You cried out as you felt a sharp pain enter your lower back. The knife slipped out of you and ghostface shoved you off to the side. You struggled to fix up your back, so you shook it off, getting up to see ghostface messing around with the ladder. He managed to cut the webs off. You grabbed a textbook that was on a desk and swung it right at his head. You ignored the pain that came from your back as you got out, grabbing Anika.

"I'm taking her to the hospital." You explained, holding her with one arm.

"Y/n, you were stabbed!"

"I'm going to a hospital!" You shot a web and went off. "Hold onto me, Anika." Her grasp around you tightened at your words, she could feel the two of you swinging and it was terrifying. "You have to stay awake for me." You could feel her grip starting to loosen. "Anika, stay awake." You caught onto the wall and slapped her across the face.

You managed to get to a hospital and called out for help.

_______

You landed by the ambulances and police cars. "Ow." You mumbled before heading up to them. "How are you guys?"

"How's Anika?" Mindy asked, worry writen everywhere on her face.

"She's going to be fine," You reassured her. "Don't worry about her. She's going to be safe."

"That happened last year with Tara."

"I have little drones watching her at all times, I trust those things with my life. I can assure you, she's going to be fine." You leaned against the side of the ambulance. "How are you guys though?"

"We'll be fine." Chad smiled at you, making you nod. "You have drones?"

"These little spider robots." You pressed something on your belt to reveal a small robot that resembles a spider. "Made them myself."

"That's so cool!" You and Chad started to talk about how you created this little robot and your schooling.

"Oh great, Spidergirl is here." You turned to see Gale Weathers, a little unimpressed. "Just what we need, a teenage superhero."

"Hey, Gale," You waved, stepping to them. "I'm 21 and I've done this for years."

"Yeah but you're still a kid."

"I've got superpowers."

"Whatever, it's best if you come as well."

_______

"Boo!" Sam jumped and turned to see you. "Fucked up dad, huh?" She just looked down, nodding. "Don't worry, who doesn't have a little fucked up in them?" You smirked a little.

"How do you stay so..."

"Sane?"

"Good."

You nodded slowly, looking around at all the costumes. "It all comes down to that no killing rule. Once upon a time, my family died, and part of me felt, and still feels, like it's my fault. I know  everyone says 'it's not your fault' but it's hard to change how I feel. I was so angry, with myself, with the world. I went on a rampage, I was overcome with all this rage and anger that I did some things that I'm not exactly proud of. I promised that I wouldn't kill, not only to save but also to make sure that there's some good left within me." You looked to Tara, who was looking around. "Since then, I haven't killed, nor do I want to. But I know I'll do whatever it takes to keep the ones I love safe. I'm sure you do too." You looked to her before you both looked at Tara once more.

Everyone started to gather around the costumes, talking about the possibilities with this shrine. You noticed how Tara started to get uncomfortable, before walking off to take a breather. You made eye contact with Sam, nudging your head for her to go follow her sister.

With Sam gone, everyone else dispersed. You walked off to go look at some of the clothing that was around. "How's May?" Gale asked, standing by you.

"Dead." You had no hesitation. "They're all dead."

"I'm so sorry for your loss."

You looked to her. "So am I."

"Why are you helping out?" You frowned at her. This was a weird question. Why wouldn't you help out? It's what you do for a living.

"Because there's a mass murderer killing people, I save people and I stop that from happening." You turned to her, a little confused as to where she was getting at.

"Then why not let the cops do it themselves?" Good point, but you didn't really like cops.

"Since when did you trust cops with this?" You questioned, but Gale just shrugged at you. "The cops don't always do it right." You glanced to Kirby and Detective Bailey. "No offense to them."

Gale sighed, she didn't want to outright say anything and hoped you understood where she was getting at with all this insinuation. "You know that the only way for the killer to stop is to kill them and you don't kill people."

"Who said I'm the one who's killing them?" You half-joked, but it didn't get much of a reaction from Gale. "But, also, it's my rule. I can break it when I want to."

"Doing this isn't going to magically make Tara like you." She finally gave out with trying to be vague. You felt your heart skip and you flushed slightly.

You shook it off before clearing your throat. You looked around to see if anyone had heard, so far no one did. "This isn't for Tara, it's for all of them, all of you guys." You gestured to the group around. "You guys have lost so many people because of this stupid little murderer, the least I can do, as someone who tries to help save the city as much as possible, is help get the killer out." You shoved your hands into the pocket of your hoodie. "I'll even help without the suit, I just wanna help."

You gave Gale a forced smile and walked off to go take a seat. You felt someone take a seat beside you, making you face them. It was Tara.

"How do you do this?" She asked, you shifted around to take a look at her.

"Do what?" You frowned slightly, propping your hand up for your head to lean into.

"I mean, I've gone through this before, but I don't wanna live my life constantly fearing ghostface. I wanna live normally." Her lip quirked, frowning slightly.

"Well, you gotta face it at some point, you can't." You started, flipping between making eye contact with her and looking away. "Not with this baggage. And it sucks, I know, but eventually you learn to live with it and it can be the best or worst part of you. There's no changing the past or what happened to you. It's what you do with it that matters." She felt a slight pang, it was good advice, but it was the fact that you spoke like you're experienced.

She placed her hand on your bicep. "You've gone through this a lot, haven't you?" You made an unsurprised face with a shrug.

"I've told you, a lot of people have died in my life. You're lucky you have them." You both looked at the others who were just talking.

It went quiet. "Thank you." Her voice was soft, you looked to her once more.

"You've been thanking me a lot." You joked, she pinched you. "Ow!" You took away your arm from her.

"Well if you haven't been doing so much for us, I wouldn't need to." She crossed her arms, smiling at you.

"It's what I do." You huffed before leaning back.

It went quiet once more. You both just looked at each other, a soft smile on both your faces. She had something else to say to you. "You know, you have us too. We're here for you, y/n. We appreciate you."

"Thanks, but I don't know." You mumbled the second part to yourself.

You didn't expect her to hear, but she did. "Don't know what?"

"I mean-" Your shoulders dropped. "I don't know if I deserve this, like, so many people have died at the hands of me, with and without the mask. Crime rates have gone up because I've been saving the city, it's like my being here does the complete opposite of what we need to happen." You hesitated. "Honestly, I'm a little scared that I might worsen things."

She shook her head, waving it off. "I doubt that."

You just shook your head with a small smile. "Whatever, I'm gotta go patrol the city." You got up and went to walk away. Tara caught your wrist, stopping you from advancing. You turned around to look at her, eyebrows furrowed. "What's up?"

"Do you wanna- maybe- go on a date? After all of this?" She smiled, sheepishly. Your gaze softened as you broke out into a grin.

"Yeah, that'd be nice." You felt your watch beep. "Okay, I have to actually go now."

_____

"Shit." It hit you. Ethan. The detective too. You scrambled to get your phone but you couldn't. You grabbed EDITH, your glasses. "EDITH call Tara." You looked between your nanotech suit and your regular suit. You grabbed the buckle and attached it to your pants as you ran off, you continued to have EDITH constantly try and call Tara.

"I was unable to reach Tara, but I have her location."

"Yes! Tell me where she is." The suit covered your body as you started to swing towards the location that EDITH gave you. You landed right in front of them, scaring them all. "Where's Ethan?"

"He's on the train with Mindy, why?" Tara looked at you confused, they all did.

"Why did you let her-" You cut yourself off. "Fine, whatever. I'll go after her." Right before you could go after her, you stopped yourself to think this through. "What are you guys doing?"

"We're trapping ghostface here, then we're executing him."

Now you were conflicted. You could go after and make sure that Ethan didn't do anything to Mindy on the train, or you could stop any other potential ghostfaces from getting to the rest of the group. "I'll just head in with you guys." You looked around to see if they were around. "But I'm going to stay hidden." You let the suit grow around your torso, like a little armor plate. "Do any of you guys want like some sort of armor?" You asked as you all entered.

"What do you mean?"

"I brought my other suit, it's like bullet proof." You pulled down your shirt to show a bit of the suit peeking. "There's enough left to cover someone else's chest." They all looked at each other, as if they were trying to silently decide.

"I have a gun, I think I'll be fine." Kirby shrugged. You looked to Chad.

"I think I'll be fine, I got these." He pretended to box, making you all laugh.

You turned to Sam. "Do you need it?"

"Give it to Tara." You nodded, holding your hand out for the girl.

She just looked at your hand weirdly, grabbing it. "It's gonna go from me to you." You felt it fully transfer to the girl. "Are you sure you guys really don't want to have it, not as a just in case? I got powers, so I'll be fine." They all shook their head or politely said no. "Alright."

______

You were leaning your back onto the counter. "This place is so old and dusty." Tara commented.

"It is pretty gross." You both went to grab some candy, your hands brushing against each others. Tara took her hand back and let you grab it. "You want it?"

"No, do I look like I want it?" She pushed it to you, making you chuckle.

"Yeah, you do." You slid it to her once more.

"Well, I don't. It's like a hundred years old." She moved the box to you. "Take 'em."

"Nah," You grabbed them. You caught sight of a small worm on them, making you yelp and throw them behind you. "Those are gross."

"Why'd you scream?" She had a teasing smile on her face.

Your eyes were wide, you made a face before admitting what you saw. "There was a bug."

"No way, Spiderwoman is afraid of bugs." She had a smile, you groaned internally, she was definitely going to make fun of you for this after.

"It was like a little worm, wiggling around on the box. It was gross." You made a face and shuddered. "I mean, if you want it, then you can go there and grab it." You looked down at her with a smile.

"I think I'm good." She nodded, putting her hand up.

"Yeah?" You asked, your face scrunching up as you teased her. "Is that so?"

Things fell silent between you two. You couldn't stop looking at her, she was absolutely gorgeous. You had to stop the urge from leaning down to kiss her. "So..." She trailed, poking your arm.

"So...?" You repeated, pretending to be her. She hit you. "Ow! You're so mean to me." You pouted.

She looked up at you, her smile never leaving her face. "Where are you taking me out?"

"Woah, who said I'm taking you out?" You stepped back slightly, just so you could look at her with a raised eyebrow.

"I did." She shrugged.

"Hm, because I could've sworn that you were the one who asked me out." You pointed to her, pretending that you were just connecting the dots.

She huffed. "Yeah, I asked you out."

"Oh? I thought I was taking you out, though?" She just smacked you, softly and playfully. "Hey! I won't tell you where we're gonna go if you're gonna keep hitting me."

"Yes, you will." You rolled your eyes at her.

"How do you know that?" You both just looked at each other, a teasing smirk on your face as you leaned onto the counter beside the two of you. Her eyes moved to your lips, you couldn't help yourself and did the same. She pushed herself up onto her toes, grabbing you by the back of the neck and pressing your lips together. Her other hand cupped your cheek, your arms wrapped around her waist. You pulled away to take a breath before kissing her again. Nothing could ever recreate the feeling of you and Tara finally kissing.

You both pulled away slowly, looking at each other once more. "You don't know how long I've wanted to do that." She whispered, her breath fanning your lips.

"Oh really? Desperate much." You teased, making her hit you. "Hey! I'm not gonna kiss you if you're going to be mean to me."

"Like I said. Yes, you will." She smiled, grabbing your face and kissing you again.

Although it was a nice kiss, you pulled away, something felt off. You looked over to see ghostface about to stab her. You pushed her out of the way, in return, they tried to stab you. You pretended to let out a yell, but really all you felt was the force from the attempted stab. Sam managed to get to the both of you guys. You grabbed a chair and swung it at ghostface, giving you and Tara time to run.

You both looked around, meeting up with Chad in the middle, and tried to look for a way out. You tried to break the door, but you stopped yourself. "I can't break it!" You yelled, looking at the mechanics.

"What do you mean you can't break it! You've lifted a truck before!" You jogged back to the group.

"If I break it, then it's going to ruin the mechanics and it won't take us down." You explained, you continued to look around.

"There!" Tara pointed to a fire escape. "Maybe it leads to a roof or something?"

You and Chad urged them to head towards the ladder nearby. "There's only one way find out." Before you guys could make it, there was another one, dropping off the stage. They went and swung at Tara, but she managed to slide out.

He went for Chad next, beheading the mannequin nearby. You went for him, tackling him down. "Go!" You yelled. "I'll catch up." You grabbed a camera nearby. "Smile for the camera!" You swung it across, it broke as it hit the ghostface, knocking them down. You all ran through the curtain, finding a hallway to run into.

Ghostface managed to catch up to you guys, so you webbed it so that they would get blocked while you guys ran. Chad knocked down the popcorn machine, blocking them slightly. You pushed him behind you, as you covered them. He tried swinging the knife at you, but your senses were top tier and you were able to dodge all of his swings. They grabbed him and shoved him into the counter, giving you enough time throw a few punches.

"Go." You reassured him, pushing him so that they could run. You picked up a gumball machine, going to smash it on the ghostface that was on the ground, but you were stabbed into the side.

Only, you weren't stabbed. Your suit protected you as they both grabbed you and continuously tried to stab you in the chest. You didn't know how they didn't notice, but you played the part and pretended to pass out. It broke your heart hearing Tara yell out your name.

They were in front of you, swiping the (still clean) knife clean, you looked up, reassuring Sam with a wink before going back to play dead. You got up when they were gone, panting slightly. It hurt a little, but all you were going to get were some bruises. You climbed onto the wall, just to sneak your way around without them knowing.

They managed to get Chad down and stabbed quite a bit. They cornered Tara and Sam. You managed to grab Chad with your webs, pulling him quietly so that you could repair him. "You're alive?" He was surprised, blood flowing from his mouth. You switched your webs to the ones to repair.

You tugged your shirt, that had stab holes in them, showing the suit beneath. "I'm gonna rip the hoodie and use the suit to make sure that if you get hurt, it's not fatal." You did just as you said, ripping the hoodie and using it to gag him, so you could spray your webs. You were lucky that his yells were into the hoodie, it was muffled.

"You need the suit, though." He argued, wincing from the pain.

You didn't listen to him, transferring the suit around his body. "No, I don't." You tapped your glasses. "EDITH make sure that the suit keeps him safe."

"Alright, Ms. Parker." You stood up, heading over to Tara and Sam.

"Y/n!" Chad called out, holding himself as he was leaned against the walls. "Take care of Tara." You nodded, slipping back in.

You had missed a good bit of their monologue, but it's alright, you had it pretty much figured it out anyways. You jumped in, right before Quinn could hurt Tara. You shot a web at Wayne, using it to slam his head against a bunch of the displays. Before Ethan could do anything, you shot a web, tugging him to you and slamming him on the ground. You let Sam go off on him, stabbing him multiple times.

"I thought I stabbed you?" Ethan whimpered, you just punched him across the face.

Wayne managed to get up and shoot at Tara and Sam, causing Tara to slip and fall over. Ethan used it as an opportunity to swing his knife at Tara's feet. "I've always wanted to stick something in you, Tara!" He yelled.

"Fuck you!"

"No, fuck you!"

While Tara urged Sam to let her go, you switched your type of webs to one that you had created. You shot it at Ethan, letting an electrical current flow through and tase him. He let out a screech, falling to the ground, Tara landing right on him. He tried to stab her, but it was stopped by the suit that you transferred to her. You shot a web, landing right on the back of his head, you yanked your hand back, causing him to violently fall onto his head. You lifted it back up, giving Tara the opportunity to stab him in the mouth. You winced, seeing how he was whimpering and gargling blood.

"Now die a fucking virgin." She seethed, lifting the knife up. Blood splattered all over her, she started to laugh, concerning you a little. You gently grabbed the knife from her.

"Okay," You tossed the knife on the ground. "I'd totally kiss you right now, but you have a bunch of blood on your face, I'm pretty sure that's Ethan's so..." She let out a small gasp, wrapping her arms around you.

"Y/n." She started to sob into your neck, you just whispered sweet nothings into her ear as you rubbed her back. "What- what happened? How are you?"

You tugged on her shirt, and tapped the nanotech on her torso. "This is why you haven't been stabbed." She grasped your shirt, seeing that there was nothing other than your bra underneath. You started to flush. "Tara-"

"Sorry." She apologized, letting you have control over your shirt. "I didn't mean to-"

"It's fine." You let out a small laugh.

"Wait, where's yours?"

You glanced away with an awkward smile. "I gave it to Chad?" She huffed and hit you.

"Why would you do that?" She couldn't be entirely be mad at you, you sacrificed your own well being for a bunch of people everyday, these past few days aren't any different.

"Because he needed it." You tapped your glasses. "I have a lot of my tech, I'll be fine."

"Y/n!" Sam called you over, you gave her a reassuring smile, running to her.

"Keep it on!" You caught up to the girl, glancing at the detective who was passed out. "What's up?"

"I need you as backup." You nodded, hiding into the shadows with her. You let her take care of the call, the teasing.

He kept on spinning around, before he just threw his phone down and yelled. You showed yourself, with a smirk. "You." He spat.

"Me." You mocked him. You shot a web at his shoulders, tugging him to you before kicking him into the glass. You got on top of him, swinging punches left and right. You were panting by the end, your fists were red and bleeding.

He managed to wake up, but you webbed his fist so that he can't swing at you. "I thought you have a no killing rule?"

"Yeah, I don't kill. I could've easily killed you with one punch, but where's the fun in that?" You got up, shifting to the side to reveal a ghosface beside you. "Go insane." Sam unsheathed her knife, stabbing him multiple times, he just kept on screaming and yelling in pain.

He was coughing up blood while Sam unmasked herself. Just before she could stab him one more time, Tara came through, seeing you and Sam. You quietly laughed as they both just communicated with no words, only giving each other looks. "My father was a murderer." Sam panted out, her hand lowering. You raised an eyebrow, unsure as to where she was going with this. "No matter what you think, I'm better than that." She turned to Tara, who just shrugged. At this point, might as well. Sam broke out into a smirk. "But you did fuck with our family, so." She stabbed him in the eye, you let out a groan, turning and looking away.

"Nice." Tara mumbled. You were all looking at the body on the floor.

"I can't handle this," You swallowed the bile rising in your throat. "I'm going to make sure that they're all okay." You held out your hand for Tara to take, she grabbed your hand, the suit tranferring to your buckle.

You jogged off to go find Chad. "I don't know how she's a hero if she's scared of bugs and can't handle gore." Tara sat down on the steps.

"I heard that!" You yelled, flipping her off before heading out, making the two of them laugh.

______

"How is he?" You asked, your hand on his chest so that you could remove the suit.

"Your boyfriend is going to be fine, ma'am."

"Boyfriend?" You were frowning, very much confused. "We're just friends."

"Oh, I thought with your hand-" You took it off.

"I was taking something back." You showed the buckle.

She seemed to take the hint, eyes widening. "Oh, well, thanks for the webbing. It helped a lot." You nodded with a small laugh.

"Alright." You turned to see Tara and Sam. "Do you guys want me to take you home?"

They looked around, trying to figure out how you're taking them home. "You have a car?" You made a face and scoffed.

"Who needs a car?" You felt the suit cover your body. "We can go for a swing."

Their jaws slacked. "Yeah, no." You feigned offense, turning to Tara.

"Come on, Tara, please." You looked at her hopefully. She glanced to Sam, who was smirking at her and nudged her.

"Fine." You jumped up with a grin. "Come on." You dit down so that she could hook her legs onto you. The masked slipped on while you were making sure she was holding tight. "Don't worry, you're gonna stick to me." You shot a web, and lifted you both off the ground.
