Nick's P.O.V
I looked between Hank and Sean who seemed to be in agreement with me,
Sean:"That's a great idea, think she will even take the offer?"
Me:"She will, if your the one to ask her. She's a great fit and knows what's going on and not to mention she has a degree in criminology."
Sean raised his eyebrow,
Sean:"She does?"
Me:"Yea Sy and I took the classes together just she never moved forward with it."
Sean:"Why didn't she?"
Me:"Sy went through some things after graduating I tried helping her then but I didn't know how. Eventually things got better and she just continued with other normal jobs."
Sean:"I'll ask her."
Hank:"I can't wait to see the look on her face."
I laughed but stopped when my phone rang,
Me:"Speaking of Sy."
Sean:"Take it."
I answered the call,
Me:"Yea?...wait when...okay we'll meet you there."
She was quick to hang up so I looked up at Sean,
Sean:"Go, I'll get the check covered. I'll be at the precinct later just let me know when your all back there."
Me:"Alright thanks."
Hank and I stood up then walked out of the Cafe.

Sylas:"So we're back to ripped out throats."
Me:"How many?"
Sylas:"Six which are lined up in a row."
Me:"Show me."
Sylas led the way into the factory and over to the lined up bodies. Hank and I looked at each other then got closer looks,
Sylas:"I'm not sure if this is Wesen related or not."
By the teeth marks it looks like a Blubaten attack, I stood up standing close to Sy as Hank stood in front of us.
Me:"It is Wesen related, Blubaten to be exact."
Sylas:"But why?"
Me:"Not sure we need to go through the office to find anything that could connect the dots."
Sylas:"Okay let's get on it."
The three of us walked inside the managers office to begin digging through files and stacks of papers.
Sylas:"Think I got something."
Hank and I turned around to find Sylas standing still while looking at a file,
Me:"What's that?"
Sylas:"Copies of emails, a lot of conversations about bank accounts and meeting locations."
Me:"Let me see that?"
Sylas walked over handing the file to me, Hank leaned in to look as well while I flipped through pages.
Me:"This one looks like a shipping container diagram for the docks."
Sylas moved beside me to get a look at the paper,
Sylas:"That's where we need to look next."
Hank:"We should go now."

Sylas's P.O.V
I walked into the precinct with Hank and Nick,
Nick:"I'll check in with Wu to see if he found anything."
Hank:"I'll start calling around then."
Me:"Let me know what you find."
Hank sat down at his desk as Nick walked out of the room, I made my way into the office and closed the door. When I turned around I saw Sean sitting at his desk which made me jump,
Me:"I didn't know you were here."
Sean:"Figured I'd surprise you."
I smiled softly then walked over leaning up against the desk,
Sean:"How's today been?"
Me:"Crazy, we're dealing with a Wesen case right now."
Sean:"Need help?"
Me:"Your not cleared to come back til tomorrow."
Sean:"And? I'm here right now."
Me:"Okay fine."
Sean:"Before we get started, take a seat."
Me:"Okay?"
I sat down in the chair in front of the desk looking at Sean confused,
Sean:"Why didn't you tell me you have a criminology degree?"
Me:"Nick told you?"
Sean:"He did, what happened?"
Me:"I wasn't ready."
Sean:"How do you feel now?"
Me:"I can handle it."
Sean:"Good, you'll ride with me in the morning."
Me:"For what?"
Sean:"I want you as a detective in my precinct."
Me:"Seriously?"
Sean:"Very serious, gives us another body for Wesen cases."
Me:"Okay."
Sean:"I figured I would have more argue in this?"
Me:"Not going to argue with you, I'm a Grimm now so you'll need all the help you can get."
The door slightly opened and Nick poked his head inside,
Nick:"Sylas we got so- oh hey captain."
Sean:"Nick."
Me:"I'll be out there in a minute."
Sean:"No go on Sy."
Me:"Are you sure?"
Sean:"I am."
I stood up walking out of the office closing the door then followed Nick over to Hank.

Sean's P.O.V
After Sylas closed the door I stood up walking over to the window peeking through the blinds watching Sylas focused on the case, she does look like a natural must be a Burkhardt thing. Sylas looked over with a smile then looked back to Hank, looking towards the clock I saw it was after 6pm so I walked out of the office to receive a standing ovation,
Hank:"Welcome back captain!"
I smiled and slid my hands in my pockets,
Me:"Thank you, all of you for your support. Most of all, thank you Sylas for handling things around here, as of now Sylas Burkhardt will be our newest detective of the 3rd precinct. Give her a warm welcome."
The room filled with claps and Sylas smiled shyly, pulling out my right hand I held up a badge for Sylas. She walked over so I smiled more while handing the badge to her,
Me:"Welcome aboard detective Burkhardt."
Wu:"Oh just what we need two Burkhardt's."
Laughs filled the air and Sylas looked at Wu with a smirk,
Sylas:"It's okay to be lonely Wu we won't judge you."
Wu:"Ah shots fired Sylas just remember that."
The two laughed and I cleared my throat,
Me:"I'm not supposed to be here til tomorrow but I'm resuming as Captain as of this moment. Alright everyone let's get back to work."
Once everyone was busy again I looked towards Nick,
Me:"I need you three in my office."
Nick looked to Sylas then to Hank before looking back to me. I began walking towards the office as they caught up to me then followed into the office, I closed the door and looked at them.
Me:"I've heard from Eric. I'm meeting him tonight at 10pm, I want you three to trail behind. I don't want none of you seen just yet."
Sylas:"You can't walk in alone."
Me:"I can and I will, I mean it you wait."
Sylas:"Fine.."
Me:"If things don't seem right then you may barge in but until then you do nothing."
Nick:"He'll know you won't have the key."
Me:"Not at first, I know my brother he'll talk for a long moment then get to the point."
Sylas:"Where are you meeting him?"
Me:"He'll give the location an hour before the meeting so we won't know til then."
Nick:"We need to get everything ready."
Me:"I know that's why we're all leaving now."

Sylas's P.O.V
Sean and I walked into our house to head upstairs to the bedroom to get ready.
Sean:"I want you wearing a vest under your shirt."
Me:"I don't think that's necessary."
Sean turned me towards him and I could see the strong stern look in his eyes so I nodded,
Me:"Okay I'll wear one."
Sean:"Good, now wear all black. They'll be here soon."
Instead of responding I continued getting ready, wearing all black Sean walked over lifting my shirt up over my head then pulled the vest over me to tighten it before fixing my shirt.
Me:"This meeting isn't sitting well with my stomach.."
Sean:"Sylas-"
He smiled reassuringly before laying his hand on my cheek to glide his thumb across it.
Sean:"It's good to feel that way but I need your full attention, okay?"
Me:"Okay."
Multiple loud knocks came from downstairs causing us to sigh, Sean grabbed a bag from the bed then walked us downstairs. As I waited he came back with Nick and Hank,
Nick:"Ready?"
Me:"I guess."
Sean leaned closer to Nick whispering something to him for Nick to respond with a nod.

Sean's been inside that building for a good minute now,
Me:"We can go in now?"
Nick:"No, wait for a signal."
Me:"What signal?"
Nick:"You'll know soon enough now focus Sy."
Lowly snarling I looked back towards the building and waited. Soon loud voices appeared causing Nick and I to look at one another,
Hank:"That may be the signal we need."
Nick:"It's not."
Hank:"Then what is?"
Loud crashing sounds came from the building,
Nick:"That's it! We need to go now."
The three of us rushed down towards the building to slip inside, spotting three other men who stood a few feet away from Sean and Eric who were currently in each other's faces.
Sean:"You will not touch her!"
Eric:"You fucked up this time Sean! Our father will be highly disappointed!"
Sean:"Touch her and I will kill you!"
Eric:"That may be easy to do dear brother. Boys."
I looked to see the three guys were gone but then a pair of hands covered my mouth and I was lifted from the ground to be carried over to Sean and Eric.
Eric:"I advise you to look behind you brother. One wrong move and she'll stop breathing."
Sean swung around, his eyes burned with anger. My eyes locked with his and Sean turned back towards Eric slowly.
Sean:"You shouldn't have done that."
Eric:"Why shouldn't I have done that? Sylas may be defenseless but she is about to find out who you really are. Now, my dear brothers soon to be wife, would you like to know who Sean really is?"
The guys hand remained over my mouth so I huffed in frustration, Eric groaned then slipped his hands into his pockets.
Eric:"Freddy, we've talked about this. Remove your hand or I'll end your life. Let her speak."
Freddy removed his hand to only hold me still so I couldn't move at all.
Eric:"You may speak Sylas."
Me:"Are you sure your ready to find out who I am?"
Eric bellowed a laugh then grinned,
Eric:"I know who you are Sylas, your the normal woman my brother shackled up with. Did you know Sean is Royalty?"
I lowly laughed,
Me:"Royalty? Your kidding right? So what does your family do for a living?"
Eric:"Would you like to find out for yourself?"
Me:"Show me."
Eric:"Very well, you can bring the other two out now."
My head turned towards my left to see both Nick and Hank being dragged out of the shadows.
Eric:"Nick Burkhardt, lovely to finally meet you. Sorry it had to be this way but you die first. Oh, before your killed you may thank Sean for your death being so early. Sylas dies last."
Sean:"I warned you Eric!"
Eric:"Oh please your petty threats don't scare me Sean, you should know that."
Sean:"Fine, let Sylas go and you can take me to our father personally."
Eric remained quiet for a moment then nodded,
Eric:"Is that what you really want?"
Sean:"It is."
Eric:"He will kill you the second he sees you."
Sean:"If dying saves Sylas then that's what will need to happen."
Me:"No!"
I struggled to break free from Freddy's hold when suddenly Eric looked towards me,
Eric:"Let her go. I'd say your goodbyes now my dear."
Freddy was quick to release me but luckily I was able to stop myself from hitting the concrete floor. Looking up I glared at Eric as I slowly stood up,
Sean:"Sylas don't. We need to say goodbye.."
I stormed over to Sean ready to shove him back but he was quicker then I was, holding onto my wrists Sean's eyes burned into mine. A tear fell from my eye causing Sean to smile softly as he spoke softly,
Sean:"Listen to me, I'm not going anywhere. I need you to get to the machete under the car behind you and cut off his head. Can you do that?"
Me:"Yes."
Sean:"Good, now I need you to remember it's only me and do not kill me."
Me:"What?"
Sean:"Understand me?"
Me:"I do."
Sean:"Now follow my lead."
Sean hugged me then kissed the top of my head before stepping back,
Sean:"Do not try to contact me nor follow, understand?"
Me:"Why?! You can't just leave Sean!"
Sean walked away so I rushed after him to grab his arm jerking him towards me. I got a wink from Sean right before he vogued,
Nick:"Sean no!!"
Eric laughed loudly as I jumped back a few steps,
Eric:"This is the real Sean, ugly bastard isn't he? Now what I enjoy the most about this is Sean will be the one to kill you Sylas. End it Sean."
Sean snarled towards me, to be honest it actually terrified me. Just as Sean stalked towards me he made a quick swift motion taking out Freddy just as Nick and Hank broke free, I swung around and dove towards the ground reaching up under the car grabbing the machetes handle quickly only to be pulled to my feet coming face to face with Eric who was fuming from Sean's betrayal towards him.
Eric:"You!"
I shoved him away from me only to grin as I fixed my footing, I lifted my free hand to motion Eric to come at me. Just as he rushed towards me we heard Sean call after him, the moment Eric vogued and was inches away from me I drove the machete straight through his stomach to feel him grip my throat as he started falling to his knees. I shoved his hand off my throat before gripping his shoulder twisting the blade before yanking it out of him. Keeping eye contact with Eric in his final moments Sean stood beside me as Eric began to speak,
Eric:"Your...a...Grimm! I hope he kills you!"
Me:"Sean won't, now remember my face because when I leave this world I'll come after you again!"
Eric:"Fuck you!"
I stepped back lifting the machete to swing quickly, listening to his head smack against the ground I dropped the machete.
Nick:"Holy shit!"
Hank:"Looks like he won't be talking again."
Sean:"Really Hank?"
The three laughed causing me to look up at them.
Sean:"Are you okay?"
Me:"Not really."
Sean frowned and quickly pulled me into a tight hug, his hand rubbed my back but I stopped that by taking a step back.
Me:"We need to clean this up.."
Sean:"Nick take her home, I'll stay and clean up."
Me:"No, we're doing this together. There's something I have to do and it will make things worse."
Sean:"What are you going to do?"
Me:"You'll know soon enough just prepare yourself."
Leaving them to look between one another in confusion I walked away.

I walked through the front door of mine and Sean's house to hear murmuring coming from the living room. Walking into the room I saw Sean near the small bar with Nick on the couch along with Juliette, Rosalee and Monroe. Hank stepped out of the hallway as Sean turned around smiling due to finally noticing me.
Sean:"Welcome home."
Monroe:"Hey!"
Both him and Rosalee jumped up to hug me, I hugged them back while Sean took a drink from his glass as he made his way towards us,
Sean:"What took you?"
I softly smiled and kissed him before walking over to the bar myself to pour me a drink. I could feel eyes on me so I turned around to see everyone staring at me,
Me:"Well if you must know, I sent Sean's father a small gift."
Sean chuckled and grinned,
Sean:"You didn't?"
Me:"I did, also out a note in that box as well."
Nick:"What did you send him?"
Sean:"What she means by gift is she sent my father Eric's head."
Nick:"You what?!"
Me:"Shouldnt have threatened me or my family."
