Jasper pov
Daisy goes downstairs to eat her dinner that esme made. Meanwhile, I make a few plans. I get onto the phone and book a hotel room for 2 for tomorrow night, the day, and the night after. I love Daisy and told her our first kiss would be romantic. She doesn't have to do anything if she doesn't want to. Either way, it would be nice to be alone, whether we are just talking without knowing my family can hear every word, or doing...other things. I decide to keep it a surprise until tomorrow evening. Once it's all booked, i go downstairs to find Daisy
"I'm so happy you're home. No more worries about them taking you away. You are family now sweetheart, have been for a long time" I hear esme says whilst I watch with a smile on my face
"I'm glad to be home. Definitely missed the food" Daisy smiles digging into her dinner
"Darling, I wanted to speak with you, in private if that's alright esme"
"Of course" esme smiles and leave just me and Daisy alone. Although I know she can still hear, esme is good at not eaves dropping. She occupies herself with other things and pretends that she can't hear our conversations
"Is everything alright jazz?" Daisy asks me
"Everythings perfect. I was just wondering when you would like to be a vampire. If that's still what you want. You can say no at any time, but once its been done, there's no going back darling" Daisy looks down, contemplating it
"I want to become a vampire. But not yet. Perhaps in a year or two. 3 years ago, I hated being the only human in the house. I didn't feel normal. But now, I like being the only human, makes me feel special" I chuckle as she grins at me
"There's no rush Daisy. No rush at all. When you finish your food, there's something I'd like to show you" I tell her. She nods and continues eating. When she is done, Daisy thanks esme and then follows me upstairs to our bedroom.
"What's going on jazz?" I don't reply and go out to our balcony over looking the wood.
"Hold on" I say not giving her a chance to understand as I grip her waist and jump off. She screams at first from the height and shock but soon, her legs are wrapped around my torso and she buries her head into my neck
"I could kill you jasper Hale!" I hear her yell as I laugh, continuing to fling myself from tree to tree. Eventually, I get back on the ground and cover up her eyes.
"I bloody hate this" she grumbles
"You will love it, trust me" I promise. We walk abit further before I uncover her eyes
Daisy pov
It was incredible. The most gorgeous thing I'd ever seen. I almost couldn't believe it was real. It looked like the kind of place you find in films, or on wattpad, not in forks. But here it was, before my very eyes
"Wow. Its...amazing" I stutter in shock. I look and see jasper's heartfelt smile
"Nicest place in forks. Of course, we're lucky it's a nice day. Otherwise it isn't so pretty" jasper chuckles
"Why didn't you show me all those years ago?" I ask
"Because, truth is, none of us knew how long you'd be staying. Carlisle told us not to show you too much, there are many places in the wood as remarkable as this. We didn't want to make it hurt even more when you left. Easier to leave with the impression that forks is a shit hole" it hurt, but I understood. Despite their powers, they couldn't stop anyone from taking me. Social services were on their ass and nothing was definite
"Well now you don't have to worry about that. So come on, let's swim" I take off my clothes by leave my underwear on, and I dive into the water. Jasper does the same resurfacing next to me
"Colder than the movies" I giggle. I wrap my legs around jasper and we are face to face, just inches apart
"Daisy" he mutters
"Yes"
"You're the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen in all my years of being on earth. Can I kiss you?" He asks. I nod and blush
"Thank you mam" his southern accent comes out thicker making me inside scream. Our heads tilt slightly and our lips connect. He is soft with me, gentle. Although physically cold, the butterflies in my stomach made me feel so warm inside. Jasper made me feel warm, with his love and affection. We pull apart and smile at one another
"I've been waiting for that a long time" I grin
"My apologies mam"
"That's alright, I'll forgive you, so long as we can continue?" Jasper grins and we kiss again. We stay there for half an hour before we get back to the house. Dripping wet, we use his balcony to get back inside
"You take a shower first. You feel the cold more than I do" jasper says. I kiss him again before running off to the ensuit. I strip of my wet clothes and get under the steaming water. It was heavenly. As I'm in there, I realise I forgot to lock the door and rosalie walks in although she seems unbothered by my nakedness
"Erm...can I help you rose?" I ask
"I was just wondering if I could borrow some of your clothes. I have a date with emmet soon and don't have time to go shopping" I know rose isn't a massive fan of baggy jeans and massive jumpers but I agree either way
"Of course. Oh and by the way, you might find something more your style at the far end of my wardrobe. I have a couple dresses which I hardly ever wear. If you like them, feel free to keep them for yourself" I tell her
"Thank you sweetie" rose leaves and I reach over to lock the door. Weirdest conversation yet. Know what made it weird? It wasn't awkward. At first I was shocked but I didn't even care that rose was seeing me naked. Odd
I finish in the shower and then walk into the bedroom with just a towel around me. Jasper wasn't there. He must be using someone else's shower. He comes in soon after me in just a towel wrapped around his waist
"I used Edwards since he isn't here to tell me no" he explains
"I still can't believe him and bella lasted this long" I mutter at the mention of his name
"None of us can. Not all of us are happy with it either. I know rose hates her"
"Ye she's not the only one" I mumble. Jasper wraps his arms around my waist from behind
"Oh? And I thought you liked everyone" he says sarcastically as I whack his arm
"Fuck off. Bella is just so...Well Bella. Rose told me from the beginning that she didn't like the girl. So I started not liking her. Rose is my girl, gotta hate whoever she hates, that's how girl code works" I tell him but he just shakes his head
"I've never been able to understand girl code"
"No person without a vagina can understand girl code. Its just too complicated. Even some girls seen to be incapable of remembering it" I tell him. I get my clothes and get dressed infront of jasper. I could feel his eyes on me the entire time but just for the fun of it, decided to ignore him completely. He gets dressed aswell whilst finding it almost impossible to look away. Once I'm dressed, I dry my hair and jasper goes out hunting for a few hours. He tells me he won't be back until the morning. I'm not happy about it but I say I'll be fine. Of course I'm not angry at him. I just don't like spending nights alone. I did it alot when homeless, it terrified me
When the night comes, I lie in bed staring at the ceiling. Like a little kid, I keep seeing shapes made from the shadows. I know it's childish, but I get out of bed and knock on Connor and alices
"Come in" I walk in and see connor playing a video game sat on the bed whilst Alice looks at dresses online
"Is everything alright love?" Connor asks
"Connor, you are leaving" I put it simply
"Huh?"
"There are several playstations and xboxes in this house. Use another one. I'm sleeping here, and I'm stealing Alice from you" I tell him flopping on the bed. He gasps whilst Alice laughs
"You cant-" but Alice interrupts him
"Sorry babe, she's won me over. Go on, leave us girls alone. I'm sure you'll survive playing your video games without having me over your shoulder. Now go, I love her more than I love you" Alice admits kissing him and kicking him out
"Unbelievable" he mumbles leaving. Alice giggles and jumps into bed with me. Although she doesn't sleep, Alice is a hugger. And being a hugger means being a cuddler
