Dread Tower:
"Hey come on Aiger! Chill out!"
"Let go of me! You'll never understand the way I feel!"
Aiger exclaimed aloud as he struggled to free himself from Ranjiro's grasp.
"Yeah, I know I wouldn't understand! So explain it to me!"
He said as he let go and the teal eyed boy turned around to face him with a scowl on his face.
"Why would I want to waste my time? Anything I say wouldn't get through that thick hair."
"My hair might be thick but atleast there's a brain behind it!"
"Oh yeah? Broomhead!"
Both Aiger and Ranjiro argued as they glared daggers at each other.
"Who's here now?"
The owner of Achilles muttered under his breath as the four people, i.e., Aiger, Ranjiro, Fubuki and Shu paused in their tracks and the big gate of the Dread Tower lifted, revealing the silhouette of a person.
As the gate was fully lifted up and the light was dimmed, the person's figure was revealed.
"Ah! It's Valt!"
The maroon haired boy said as his eyes widened and he pointed a finger up at the wonder boy who was grinning at the rest of them.
"Hey guys! How's it going?"
The blunette asked in his usual cheerful tone as he made his way towards the four bladers.
"You're here!"
The crimson eyed blader smiled as he ran up to the boy and they both fist bumped together.
"I sure am. And guess what? I'm not alone!"
Valt smiled as Shu blinked in confusion and was about to ask until,
"Hi guys! How've you all been?"
A cheerful feminine voice said as a/an (h/c) haired girl popped up from behind Valt and the figure smiled at the boys.
"....(Y/N)?!"
The albino mouthed out in shock and surprise as the girl grinned and nodded in response. The other three bladers had made their way upto them as Aiger asked,
"Who're you?"
"My name is (Y/N) (L/N). And you're Aiger Akabane, right?"
The girl responded as he nodded and Ranjiro and Fubuki took their turns in introducing themselves.
After the introductions, Valt gave everyone beybreads that he'd brought along with him.
As they all ate beybreads with smiles on their faces, Shu couldn't help but glare at his best friend in jealousy.
Shu's P.O.V.
As I ate the beybread, I kept glancing at Valt and (Y/N). These two seemed to be really happy in each other's company.
But why does Valt have to be with (Y/N)?! Why is he the one making her smile and laugh?! Why am I not in his place?!
In thinking all these, I nearly crushed the beybread in my hand. I couldn't help but-
"Hey Shu, are you alright?"
Fubuki's voice interrupted my thoughts as I turned to look at him and forced a smile on my face.
"Yeah, I am fine Fubuki."
I can't let him see me glaring at Valt and (Y/N). What would he think about his coach?
To my relief, he believed me and turned back to talking with Ranjiro and Aiger. I turned to look at Valt and (Y/N) who were still chatting happily.
That was enough for me. I went closer to the duo as I asked with a 'polite' smile on my face,
"Hey (Y/N), how'd you end up coming here with Valt?"
"I came here because I was also worried about Aiger's growing corrupt resonance."
"Oh..."
Was all that came out of my mouth. But I still couldn't understand how she ended up with HIM of all people. Valt is staying in BC Sol in Spain while she's staying in Japan, right? Then how'd this happen?!
"Hey Aiger wait!-"
The three of us turned our heads to see Aiger running away with Ranjiro not too far behind and Fubuki watching with a worried face and his hand extended to the maroon haired boy.
"What happened?"
Valt asked as Fubuki sighed and responded,
"Nothing serious. Aiger just got mad again because we'd mentioned about his resonance with Achilles is getting corrupt."
"So, he just ran away in anger?"
(Y/N) asked and Fubuki nodded in response as we all exchanged glances of worry. I was about to say something but Valt interrupted in between,
"Let's leave him alone for sometime. I also need to find Hyde. I have to challenge him to a battle."
"Wait?- Really? You're gonna battle Hyde?"
Fubuki asked in surprise as I looked at him and we exchanged knowing looks. I know he's going to challenge him with his new Turbo beyblade.
"Yup! Valtryek and I are Turbo set to battle him and Dread Hades!"
He said cheerfully as he excitedly picked up his backpack and marched on to search for Hyde. (Y/N) followed behind him, much to my dismay.
Without wasting another second, I followed her as Fubuki followed me close behind.
A while later:
Third person's or No one's P.O.V.
The four of them had reached the battle stadium of the Dread Tower as Fubuki had found himself a seat in the sidelines while Valt was being given last minute tips and strategies for his battle. Aiger and Ranjiro were still nowhere to be seen.
"So you understood, right? Dodge Hades for the initial moments of the battle before he's overconfident enough to let down his guard. And that's when you'll-"
"And that's when I'll go in with my Turbo Rush Launch!"
The blunette cut off the albino in the middle as Shu deadpanned and (Y/N) just sweatdropped. No matter how old Valt gets, the excitement and spark of the wonder boy never fades away.
"Oh! And Valt!"
The (h/c) haired girl called out to him as the chocolate brown eyes of the boy looked at her and she went closer to him before giving him a peck on his cheek.
That was it for Shu. The girl he'd always had a crush on just kissed HIS BEST FRIEND right in front of HIM. He gritted his teeth in anger and jealousy as she pulled away and winked at the blunette,
"That was for good luck in the battle."
Valt, the boy who'd never been kissed by anyone except his parents and siblings, had a bright tomato red face by now. He just stood frozen on his spot, not knowing what to say or do.
The three of them stood in an awkward silence with (Y/N) having a confused face. Until the announcer of the Dread Tower, announced for Valt's arrival on the battle stage.
The wonder boy quickly seized the moment as he nervously smiled and left his friends to battle with Hyde. (Y/N) still waved at him cheerfully, not noticing the albino getting mad and jealous by the second.
As soon as Valt was out of sight, Shu grabbed the girl by the wrist and dragged her somewhere. The (e/c) eyes of the girl widened in surprise but she didn't resist knowing that her friend won't be taking her anywhere dangerous.
Fubuki who was sitting in the sidelines, happened to see his mentor dragging the girl and out of 'pure curiosity' decided to follow them.

A little while later:
Shu finally stopped at a place from where the moon and the sky was clearly visible.
"Wow! Shu it looks so beautiful from here!"
The girl complimented as her (e/c) eyes reflected the beautiful stars. What she didn't know was Shu's jealousy hadn't faded away even by a bit.
As soon as she turned to face the albino, her lips met the warm ones of the crimson eyed blader. Her eyes widened in shock as she was about to pull away but a hand slipped into her hair and the other one snaked around her waist, preventing her from moving away.
About 10 seconds later, (Y/N) too, decided to melt into the kiss as she returned the gesture with a passion almost matching Shu's. The albino was surprised at first but smiled mentally at her returning the kiss.
After a few minutes, they pulled away for air as (Y/N) looked straight into the albino's eyes and asked softly,
"What was the kiss for Shu?"
"You kissed Valt with those soft lips of yours so I had to wash his taste off your lips."
"Huh?"
The girl blinked in confusion as the albino looked away, cursing himself in his mind for his reckless actions. He couldn't believe it himself that he actually went this far out of jealousy. His cheeks and ears had turned red by now as he was preparing himself for the girl's anger.
But to his surprise, instead of getting mad at him for stealing her first kiss, she actually started laughing softly. Shu looked at her with a questioning gaze as she noticed it and answered,
"You were jealous because I kissed Valt, weren't you?"
He hated to admit that but he couldn't bring himself to lie to her either. So, he just nodded in response, gaze never meeting her (e/c) eyes.
(Y/N) smiled as she patted his shoulder and said,
"You're really cute when you're jealous Shu. If you didn't want me to kiss Valt then you could've just told me, y'know. I wouldn't have done that."
"But then Valt would tease me for the rest of the month for being jealous. And also..."
"Hmm? And also?"
"I really hadn't planned on doing this before confessing my feelings to you."
At that, (Y/N) giggled a little before moving closer to him and saying,
"I never knew you had a crush on me too."
The boy's ears perked up at the word 'too' and he quickly questioned,
"Too?"
"Yes, too. I also had a crush on you for a long time. But I just didn't know how to confess."
"I could say that I had the same problem. But..."
His voice trailed off as his arms wrapped around (Y/N)'s waist and he lifted her up in the air with ease, taking her by surprise as she quickly held his shoulders so she wouldn't fall.
"Now that we both know we had a crush on each other and even shared our first kiss, aren't we a couple?"
He asked her as the girl thought for a while before smiling happily and nodding to him. Shu smiled as he spun her around in the air before pulling her closer to himself and kissing her head.
"I love you (Y/N)."
"I love you too, Shu."

BONUS:
Fubuki had been watching and recording the whole love scene from his phone with a smug smile on his face.
On one hand he was very happy for Shu while on the other hand, he'd witnessed his mentor's jealous side for the first time.
He clicked a few pictures of Shu and (Y/N)'s kiss, Shu spinning her around in the air in his arms and then at last him kissing her head.
The banana haired boy posted these pictures on the internet with the caption,
"ᴍʏ ʙʟᴀᴅɪɴɢ ᴄᴏᴀᴄʜ ʜᴀs ғɪɴᴀʟʟʏ ᴄᴏɴғᴇssᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ʜɪs ᴄʀᴜsʜ ᴀғᴛᴇʀ ʙᴇɪɴɢ ᴊᴇᴀʟᴏᴜs ᴏɴ sᴇᴇɪɴɢ ʜᴇʀ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʜɪs ʙᴇsᴛ ғʀɪᴇɴᴅ. ɪ'ᴍ sᴏ ʜᴀᴘᴘʏ ғᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇᴍ. (*˘︶˘*).｡*♡"
Let's just say, the news of Valt winning the championship belt again was short lived. This news of THE Shu Kurenai being in a relationship took the world by storm.
You can well imagine how Shu's fangirls must've been after seeing these pictures.
And Valt's reaction after reading the caption. The wonder boy didn't stop pestering his albino friend for the rest of the month.
And what would've happened to Fubuki after (Y/N) and Shu found out that he was the one who made their relationship public.
