Over the next six months Naruto spent all his time with studies and training. He had grown accustomed to a bow at that time. Using it for fun to release stress but also for when Kenshi and Yui took him hunting.
He hadn't actually hunted any animals quite yet. His aim wasn't quite good enough, so Kenshi used it as a time to train him on tracking. Seeing the little blond in the woods he could tell Naruto spent a lot of time in the forest. He was a natural at tracking. Even at the age of six.
Finding the deer they had been tracking. Naruto pointed excitedly, looking back at Kenshi. Putting his finger over his lip. Naruto nodded hunkering down trying to physically make him more quiet. Yui couldn't help but smile at her new brother's antics.
Pulling back the arrow, Kenshi let the world around him disappear. The only thing was him and the deer. Releasing his breath, he let go. Time slowed down as the arrow hit it's mark. The deer let out a yell as it fell to the ground.
Moving up they could see the deer was still alive. Naruto hid behind Yui looking down at the suffering animal. Pulling out a dagger, Kenshi knelt down. Chakra flowed from his hand as he pet the dying creature. The deer calmed, stabbing the deer he made sure it no longer suffered.
"Hey! How did you make him like that old man?" Looking at the Jinchuriki he just smiled, "Chakra has many uses. Samurai use it to enhance their weapons and Shinobi use it for assassination. Both use it to heal injuries." Holding his hand out for the blond how to get close. Walking into his reach he pulled Naruto closer to the deer.
Yui smiled as she stood on the other side of the deer. She still remembered her father's lessons on chakra. "All living things have chakra." Putting Naruto's hand on the still warm deer. Kenshi put his hand on top of his. Pulsing chakra through his hand Naruto could feel the entire chakra network of the deer as it faded away.
Looking at the deer he was shocked and wondered. It was so pretty, "It was pretty and different!"
Nodding Kenshi chuckled, "Of course. You are right, all living things are beautiful. That's why you should treasure them. We may eat the deer, but we must make sure it does not suffer."
After returning home, Naruto and Yui began their studies. An Anbu landed next to Kenshi as he hung the deer. "Hello Dog. How may I assist you."
Kakashi looked at the older man, "How is he doing?" Kenshi looked up at the young man. "He is good. Progressing quickly now that he has a chance to thrive."
Leaning against a tree Kakashi felt relief wash over him. "Good. I failed him the day he was left out here. Thank you Oda." Kakashi bowed to the man.
Feeling Kenshi's hand on his shoulder, "Do not trouble your mind to much. I believe you still have a strong roll in his life Dog. You never failed him, I'm sure his parents would agree."
Standing up he looked back as Itachi watched from another tree, "We are moving against his assailant soon. I don't know how it will turn out but they are a powerful force." Kenshi felt pity for the Anbu. He knew dealing with insurgents in your own organization was tough.
"Be careful then. If you survive I'm sure both you and Weasel would be welcomed by the boy." Kakashi nodded before shushining away.
Sara and Yui were practicing Taijutsu while Naruto practiced the basic moves of her style. Knocking Yui down she looked at her daughter, "Remember the style is to mimic water. You can't be rigid and sharp. Flow with the battle, every movement is for attack and defense."
Gazing at Naruto she was shocked he was picking it up so quickly, "Naruto come."
Eagerly Naruto ran to the women, "This style, is based off the movement of water. For your stance you want open hands." Naruto opened his hands, one in front of him while the other was facing up across is abdomen. " Much better. Now your goal is to flow. As Yui strikes out at you dodge and block."
Yui struck again and again. Doing his best Naruto attempted to block and dodge again and again. Seeing how she moved he attempted to mimic her. She moved with grace but power. Finally she place a closed punch to his chest knocking him on his back.
Sara busy out laughing at him, "Well you will get there. For now I want you to go to your target practice." Watching him run off her eleven year old daughter stood up next to her. "Mom, he is going to learn the style quickly. He was actually doing really well against me."
Sara nodded, "He is playful, high energy, and easily distracted. However his parents truly loved him." Sara had researched Naruto's parents. The Fourth Hokage was a genius that only happens once in a generation. Kushina was an incredible shinobi as well. Both were well respected by their allies and enemies. Minato being so feared that not one but two nations had a flee on site order.
Naruto grabbed his bow and lined up for his targets. Six targets, the boy pulled back the string. Sending the first arrow out. Hearing the thud he fired the next one which missed. After firing the remaining four arrows, he quickly reused his arrows.and made note of his improvements. Something about the Yumi called to him. He wasn't sure why but he loved the weapon.
After finishing a few more rounds of targets, Naruto laid down and started cloud watching. He had never taken the time to appreciate all of nature when he was in the village. Part of it was because of how young he is. Though he felt at peace in this forest versus the Village.
Thinking on his time here, he loved every minute of it. Yui was always helping him. Whether it was archery, reading and writing. She never let him fall behind. Pushing him like never before. He had to wonder if this was like having a sister. He wanted to tell her about the fox but.was scared. What if she hated him talking to it?
Flashback 6 months ago
"My jailer finally arrived it seems." Naruto looked at the monster and felt anger instead of fear. This monster was the reason he was so hated in the village.
Naruto balled his fists in frustration, "You stupid fox! People hurt me because of you." Seeing the angry little human child made Kurama laugh, "Please you think I care about something as pitiful as you."
He wasn't sure what to do. He had just learned of the demons existence within him. Crossing his arms, he sat in the water and poured. "I just want to become a great ninja and help my village. Instead I'm stuck with you!"
Kurama watched the young boy. The child had no fear of him. Maybe in time he could manipulate him into breaking the seal. "Worthless child. You are weak, one day I'll break free and kill everyone you love."
Present Day
Every conversation since then has been similar. Naruto knew he was trapped inside of him, but he had so many questions. Maybe he will answer them eventually. Letting out a sigh he stood back up and grabbed his bow, 'Maybe I can make the Yumi my main weapon.'
Moving back in front of the targets he started shooting again. A smile gracing his face as he fired shot after. Kenshi and Sara watching the boy. Yui came down and started giving the blond boy grief over his form.
"I bet I can hit more Kunai than you can arrows." Naruto looked up at her with determination, "Oh your on blonde!" She chuckled as they lined up and started hitting targets.
Konoha
"Lord third we have located his base in the sewer system." Hiruzen looked at Hiashi and grinned. "Good. Shikaku, send in the Anbu. I want Jonin blocking every known exit."
Fugaku gathered the police not far from the Hokage tower. Sending people away from where they hoped the main fighting would take place. Before he could leave the station though, a set of explosions went off. Fukaku moved quickly pulling as many people out of the station as possible.
Danzo moved with a elite group of a bit towards the Uchiha compound. He knew backup was on its way. This masked man was willing to help him take down the Uchiha once and for all. His sensei would be able to rest in peice knowing Madara's legacy will be destroyed.
Moving his in he saw his opportunity, landing on top of a building in the Compound he and his men attacked many of the guards went down easily. Danzo was not impressed with them so far. Landing he pulled out his tanto, pushing chakra through his body he moved slashing down another three Uchiha.
Kakashi, Itachi, Shisui, and Tenzō lead the assault on Danzo's base of operation. Two enemy guards moved to take on the Shinobi only to be cut down in seconds. Kakashi, activated his chidori disappearing and suddenly appeared behind another enemy Anbu stabbing him through the chest.
Itachi took another small group out before moving onto the next area. Reaching the main compound inside the sewer.
Shikaku gave the word, every team engaged moving as fast as they could. Explosions went off in all directions. Moving into the facility they eliminated enemies room by room. Between the three sharingan users and the wood user they stood no chance.
Reaching the final room Itachi moved in before the two guards could react. Two Kunai appeared in his hands, in a spin he sliced both their necks as they attempted to form hand seals for jutsu.
On the table was the plans for the Uchiha compound. Kakashi went over them as fast as he could, "Dog." Looking over Tenzō opened a door with several kids huddled together. "Damn, you two go and help your clan. We will get these children out."
"Hai!" Both Uchiha vanished from view as they made their way to the Uchiha compound. "I hope they make it." Kakashi turned to deal with the children in front of him. Tenzō was better with kids then he was but he needed to be there for these children.
Fukaku saw fire back towards the compound. Around the time Hiruzen did. Moving as fast as they could they arrived with dozens of chunin and Jonin Shinobi. "Hiruzen!"
The old man looked around as fifty enemy Anbu landed behind them, "Fugaku! Take our men and save your clan! I'll kill these excuses for Shinobi."
Throwing three shirken, sudden sixty appeared hitting dozen of the Anbu.
Fugaku seeing that they were no match for the god of Shinobi moved on with his men. Taking in root members they moved through the compound finding few survivors.
Taking what few had survived the the Chunin evacuated them as quickly as possible. The remaining Uchiha that were with Fugaku spread out, realizing his son Sasuke and Mikoto we're still in their home.
Fugaku landed in front of his house. About to move inside till a Kunai flew past his head. Turning to face Danzo and his personnel ten Anbu. "Danzo you are a traitor and will die this day."
Danzo shook his head, "I know what's best for Konoha. That is the elimination of your clan Uchiha." Suddenly Danzo released a barrage of wind bullets at the clan leader. Moving fast Fukaku jumped and fired off a massive fireball.
Unfortunately one of the root was a Hyuuga. Using his gentle fist he dispersed the fire in have saving his leader. 'Damn!' Fugaku was strong but Danzo was just as powerful without his allies.
The battle continued, Fugaku had lowered the number off Root from ten to three. But he was running out of chakra. He had received several injuries from the war hawk. The man was easily close to Hiruzen's level. For sure as powerful as the Sannin. Landing a kick to one of the root sent him flying into a building.
Danzo landed behind him, "Air Blade!" Lashing out the blade cut into the man's chest falling to the ground Fukaku fired another fireball. As it was about to hit is mark a distortion appeared. The fireball disappeared and a masked man stood in front of the war hawk.
"Oh Fugaku how you have fallen." The man looked down at the very injured Uchiha. As the distortion swam around him he could feel his body being pulled apart. Before it could swallow him, someone pulled him away.
Itachi held his father, looking down at his broken body. His right arm was missing from what the masked man had done. Shisui had his Mangekyou activated and was prepared for the attack.
Fugaku's breathing was shallow. Itashi's eyes burned, standing he drew his tanto. "I will kill you."
"Well, it seems we are out of time." Looking over he could see Kakashi landing behind Itachi. Grabbing Danzo everyone watched as the two disappeared.
Looking back Itachi saw his little brother and mother both kneeling over his father crying. Hiruzen arrived seeing his friend Fugaku on the ground. Looking down at his father he watched the life leave his eyes.
Pain shot through Itachi's head. Blood pouring from his eyes. "ITACHI!" everything went to black.
Kakashi caught his teammate, "Shisui! He activated his Mangekyou." The younger boy landed, looking over his best friend and nodding.
