Pairing: Jack Kline x fem!reader
You met Jack a few months ago, and you weren't afraid to say that you fell head over heels the first moment you clapped eyes on him. You knew that he felt the same about you from the way his body language changed when you were around; he became more at ease and seemed to be happier within himself.
With Christmas coming up, an idea popped into your head which you knew everyone would be shocked about. Sam and Dean, being Sam and Dean, were completely oblivious to the fact that you and Jack were harboring feelings for each other so you wanted to make this as special for them as it would be for the both of you.
You had all begun decorating the bunker with Christmas decorations. Grabbing the mistletoe you had saved from your room, you ran up the stairs and hung it from the railing. You were hoping that your idea would play out the way that you hoped.
Jack rounded the corner as you were coming to the bottom of the stairs. He looked as if he was on a mission. "Hello, Y/N. I was looking for you." You raised your eyebrows inquisitively. "Oh?" Jack's cheeks began to redden as he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
"I-I was wondering, if maybe, I-....could....kiss you?" As Jack continued on with his question, his cheeks beamed more and more. Your mouth turned upwards into a beaming smile as you leaned in towards Jack, whispering into his ear. "Meet me under the mistletoe in five minutes." You pointed upwards to where it was situated as you ran around the bunker to find the brothers.
"C'mon Y/N! That pie was still steaming hot! It's not gonna taste the same if it's cold!" Dean sunk down in a chair by the war table, arms folded across his chest, as Sam sat across from him, shaking his head. "Seriously Dean, can you not think about food for the five minutes that Y/N needs us?"
You chuckled at the brothers bickering as you made your way over to the mistletoe. The brothers gave you confusing looks as you stood there, with a look of both nerves and happiness. "What's going on, Y/N?" Sam leaned forward, a little worried at this point. "Just be patient."
A few seconds later Jack walked through the library and over to you, a warm smile on his features. You both faced each other with your hands resting on his shoulders and his resting on your cheeks. You both slowly leaned in and your lips touched, gentle and slow.
Jack's hands landed on the small of your back as yours traveled to the back of his neck. You both broke apart and rested your foreheads on each other, smiling and completely lost in each other.
"Ahem." You both jumped at the sound and turned towards the brothers, your hands now entwined together. "Since when did, er, this happen?" Dean pointed from you to Jack and back to you. "Well, we've both been feeling things recently and we wanted to make it known to the both of you. Plus, it's Christmas and there's mistletoe." You gestured up to the railings and the brothers followed your gesture.
"When did you..." Dean looked very confused as Sam stepped forward. "Never mind that, we're both very happy for you." He brought you both in for a hug and ruffled the top of Jack's head, gesturing for Dean to do the same. His hug was a little more rigid and he seemed to be staring Jack down. "If you ever do anything to hurt her, I will invent a way to kill you myself."
Jack's eyes widened as Dean walked away. "Don't worry about him, Jack. He's just being protective." You wrapped your arms around him and pecked his cheek before he took your hand and guided you towards his room. "We need to call Cas and tell him, he'll be so happy!"
