At about 10pm that night, the Marine UH-1Y Huey lands in the middle of the tank garages.
Dan, Carm and Yukari exit the helicopter.
So far, almost everyone went back to their respective homes,
Carm escorted Yukari home, and wished her goodnight.
Now, with the night she had, she was going to sleep HARD.
He, on the other hand still had a busy night ahead of him.

When he arrived back at the tank garages, it wasn't just a few people that were in the garage, it was whole teams of people, mostly those from the armed forces of each individual nation coming to provide mechanical support for the upcoming match.
It was nice having whole countries rooting for you.
They then scratched the paint off of all of the girl's tanks.
Removing their school logos, and decals of choice.
It was kinda weird seeing Pravda's IS-2 being shaven down to a silver color, completely absent of the dark green it was originally painted in.
It was then repainted in a historical livery
Before
After
Needless to say, it looked gorgeous once the process was done.
Especially with the added rooftop DShK 12.7mm Machine gun.
"Oh, comrade commander! You're back!" Nikolai said,
He was overseeing the painting.
" what do you think? Does it look good?" He asked.
"Excellent" Carm said in an authoritative tone.
The IS-2 now looked so much better than it used to.
Now it looked like it could rumble into Berlin.
Of course, you had to keep your school logo, so a single low vis Ōarai logo was added right behind the turret.
Practically all of the vehicles were undergoing this treatment, shedding their school liveries for something more historical, harkening back to a fearsome legacy the boys wished to replicate.
That being the reputation of the warriors of old, valiant heroes not given enough credit for their deeds by these..... school markings,
Because if you were a Panzer IV crewmember that died on the Eastern front and went to the afterlife, and then you see a bunch of highschool girls absolutely RUIN the same tank you rode in with a depressed Anglerfish as their logo....
Carm would think one would be quite upset in such a predicament.
Also, the warlike feel radiated off of the newly painted tanks, once again solidifying the omnipresent masculinity of these fearsome armored vehicles,
Almost like a (much needed) return to form.....
The tanks that the boys use were already in a service paint scheme, complete with National markings based on what country they were from,
So they didn't have to be painted,

Nikolai then showed Carm over to the shipment of fresh uniforms arrived, freshly pressed and looking beautiful.
They came in all different sizes, based on the girls that were going to wear them.
Because, even though everyone of the exchange students from schools like Pravda and Saint Gloriana, all brought their own respective school Sensha-dō uniforms,
Unfortunately, these mainly consisted of a top with almost no storage of equipment, or protection for the wearer, on top of that, the needlessly short skirt worn was prone to getting caught on just about anything inside the tank, and offering no protection from things like fire burns or shrapnel, and not having storage for anything either.
On top of that, they didn't wear ear protection inside of a tank, which is a straight shot to hearing damage.
So, not ideal.

On the other hand, the historical uniforms Carm ordered were far more practical, and useful than the schools outfits of choice.
(German tank uniform for reference)
On the newer uniforms, there were new features like utility belts for storage of items, such as canteens or personal defense firearms.
As well as fully fireproof pants, and large rubber boots. Instead of a skimpy skirt and relatively normal shoes.
Also, ear protection was provided for all members of the team, with aids such as headphones and helmets, to help with crew communication and ear health.

The members of each team get uniforms based on the nationality of the tank they're driving rather than the school they go to.
So Anglerfish team would get German uniforms, because they use a Panzer IV. And Duck team would get Japanese uniforms because they drove a Type 89 I-Go for example.
Carm was unsure if they were going to like the newer uniforms, or the new paint jobs on their tanks, but he knew for sure that he would.
He then headed home to get some sleep, tomorrow was going to be even busier than today.
