Hello everybody! I've returned yet again with another chapter for you all to enjoy. This will be the final Alola focused chapter, as the next one will be the transition one. And just, wow. Alola is just about over, hard to believe. Let's get this started before the waterworks start. Enjoy the chapter!
"Sylveon, use Moonblast! Kartana, use Leaf Blade!"
Sylveon launched her attack at Kartana, who sliced it in half and flew in closer.
"Get away with Quick Attack!"
Sylveon ran off at high speed. Kartana was in hot pursuit of her.
"Kartana use Air Slash! Sylveon, dodge them using your mobility!"
Kartana fired off blades of wind, Sylveon jumping and spinning and using her feelers to dodge them.
"Kartana Flash Canon!"
Kartana unleashed a beam of steel from his mouth. Sylveon responded by performing a spin dash and escaping the attack.
"Alright that's enough you two, take a break" Serena said with a smile.
Sylveon and Kartana nodded. They went off to chat with Ash's Pokémon. Serena turned to Ninetails and Primarina.
"Alright, are you two ready?" Serena asked. The two nodded. "Alright then, Ninetails use Iron Tail! Primarina use Energy Ball!"
Everyone watched Serena train her Pokémon from the porch.
"She's really getting into it" Kukui said.
"It's like looking into a mirror, huh Ash" Burnet said.
Ash chuckled. "Maybe."
"Although, I don't blame her, the Galar League is not going to be easy, especially for someone who has never participated in a league before. Serena is going to need to train even harder now" Kukui said.
"True. But, I know she can do it. Serena is really strong after all" Ash said.
"That's true. I'd say she's probably the second strongest trainer in Alola" Burnet said.
"The second strongest?" Ash said.
"Right behind you of course" Burnet said with a smile.
Ash smiled. He looked at her again. 'No...I'd say she's the strongest' he said to himself. Ash looked at Kukui again. "By the way Professor, did that Professor Magnolia lady contact you again?"
Kukui shook his head. "Not yet. I was planning on calling her soon to tell her that Serena was interested in doing the gym challenge instead of you. I just want to make sure Serena is dead set on doing it."
Everyone could tell that Serena wasn't fully sure when she told them she would do it. That's when Ash had an idea. He got up and went to Serena.
"Hey Serena."
Serena turned to him. "Hey Ash, what's up?"
"Do you want to take a break and go for a walk?"
Serena smiled. "Sure!"
The two started to walk. Pikachu, Sylveon, Greninja and Delphox joining them. As they walked, Ash spoke up.
"You know, it's weird to see someone other than me train like that. You trying to steal my shtick again Serena?" Ash asked with a sly smile.
Serena giggled. "Maybe~" she said in a teasing voice. "Maybe I'll steal your clothes again next."
Ash blushed. "S-Serena?! Why would—"
Serena laughed. "I'm just teasing you. I wouldn't do that....probably."
"Probably?! That's not very reassuring Serena" Ash said still red with embarrassment.
Serena laughed even harder. "You're so cute when you're flustered. I bet that gets tiring."
Ash saw his chance for revenge. With a smug grin he spoke. "Well then, I can't imagine how exhausted you must be."
Serena stopped laughing and blushed madly. She let out high pitched grunts. Now Ash's turn to laugh came.
"J-...Jerk. You suck" Serena stuttered.
"You know you love me Serena."
Serena couldn't help but giggle. "Oh yes, I do. Very much."
The Pokémon were watching the two interact.
"Can they just marry each other already" Greninja said.
"For real. But you have to admit how cute they are when they flirt" Delphox said.
Sylveon rubbed her head against Pikachu's. "Well we beat them in one category, right babe~?"
Pikachu blushed deep red. "P-Please don't tell anyone...I'd die of embarrassment...!"
Sylveon giggled. "Of course my love, I won't tell anyone. And definitely not how incredible it was."
Steam was rising from Pikachu's head as he became more red. Greninja and Delphox looked at each other in confusion.
After that little exchange, Ash refocused himself. "Hey Serena" he said in a little more serious tone.
"Yes Ash?"
"Are you sure you really want to participate in the Galar League?"
Serena was surprised to be asked that. She looked down as she spoke. "To be perfectly honest, no." However, she looked back at Ash with a determined smile. "But just because I'm not sure doesn't mean I'm not gonna try!"
Ash was in awe at her response. He smiled and nodded. "Now that's the Serena I love."
Serena blushed and smiled widely. A thought suddenly struck her.
"Hold on...if I'm gonna participate in the Galar League, what are you gonna do?"
Ash thought hard about that. What was he going to do? It took him a minute, but he finally spoke.
"I'm gonna be there to cheer you on in your battles, just like you've always done for me since we met. I think it's time I repay you for all the support and encouragement you've given me."
Serena blushed and stared in awe. "Ash..."
Ash flashed her his signature toothy grin. This made Serena feel even more happy. She snuggled into him as they continued their walk.
It was around dinner time when everyone was all together in the living room.
"So Serena, have you decided what to do?" Kukui asked.
Serena nodded. "I'm gonna take on the Galar League. I'm gonna give it everything I've got and win!" She declared.
"That's the spirit Serena!" Ash said.
"It's just like what my mother always says: Go for broke!" Serena said.
The Professors nodded. "You'll do great Serena. And we'll be there cheering you on" Burnet said.
"Guess I've got a phone call to make then" Kukui said as he got up and headed into the basement. Burnet decided to start making dinner.
Once dinner was done and the dishes were cleaned, everyone returned to the living room to watch some tv. They all decided to watch something that was considered 'old school' by the Professors, together. The show starred a dark blue and white creature trying to catch a small brown creature. Everyone laughed hard at their antics.
"These are hilarious! Although they're quite violent" Serena said.
"True, but the comedy makes up for it" Kukui said.
Ash had been staring at the brown creature intently.
"What's wrong Ash?" Burnet said.
"...I wonder if that thing is related to Pikachu...considering they're both called a mouse..." he said with a serious face.
This caused everyone to laugh.
"That mouse doesn't speak for me" Pikachu commented.
This continued until everyone decided to go to bed. The next morning arrived and Serena started training again, Ash helping her and giving her advice. Professor Kukui had called Professor Magnolia and said Serena was interested in partaking in the Galar League. It took some time to arrange, but Serena was finally registered.
"Kukui said our plane to Galar departs in two days" Ash said.
Serena nodded. "I'm mostly packed already."
Ash chuckled. "I guess that means you're excited."
Serena made fists and had an aura of excitement around her. "Oh yeah, and I'm gonna do my absolute best!"
"I know you will Serena. And I'll be there to cheer you on" Ash said.
"Thank you Ash. With you there, there's no way I'll lose."
"That's my line you know, you just keep trying to steal my shtick" Ash said.
Serena closed one eye and stuck her tongue out. The two eventually laughed together.
As the training continued, Passimian was a little lost in thought.
'I really have become stronger right?'
"Hey, Passimian" a voice called out.
Passimian turned around to see Decidueye waving at her. Lycanroc, Silvally and Mimikyu were also there.
"We're all gonna play a game together, you wanna join us?"
"Sure!" Passimian said with a smile.
She went over to them. The game was a Kick the Can. Mimikyu was 'it' for the first round, then Silvally was next, then Passimian, then Decidueye, and finally the last round it was Lycanroc.
"Alright, so far the one with the most points is Silvally, followed by Passimian. The last round is worth double points to whoever wins it, agreed?" Decidueye said. Everyone nodded in agreement. "You're up Lycanroc."
"I'm ready!" He said.
Everyone ran into the forest, Lycanroc staying back to give them a 1 minute head start. As the game went on, Passimian was swinging from tree to tree, trying to get away and also practicing her mobility in the forest. As she was swinging, she heard voices nearby. She headed towards the voices origin. Once she was close enough, she saw who it was.
A group of Passimian were carrying food in their arms. Upon closer inspection, their bodies looked slimmer and some bruises could be seen.
"Why do we have to do this? Doesn't he have enough food already?" One of them said.
"Yeah, I'm so hungry..." the other said.
"I wish Nee-san was still here...me and her were practically sisters..."
Passimian recognized that nickname. It was the name her friend called her.
"Wasn't she the weakest of us? What difference would it make?" The male Passimian said.
The female Passimian dropped the food she was carrying and grabbed the male.
"Don't you dare talk about Nee-san like that! You hear me?!"
The male was stunned by this. He just nodded. The female let him go after that. The two picked up the food and continued walking.
"I hope Uncle won't hurt us too hard this time..." the female said.
Passimian immediately took off back towards the group. Once she finally made it back, everyone let out a sigh of relief.
"There you are, we were so worried!" Lycanroc said.
The rest of the group joined them.
"You were gone for so long that we called off the game" Decidueye said.
"Don't leave us again" Mimikyu said with watery eyes.
Passimian picked her up and cradled her. "I'm sorry I worried you all." Passimian looked down at Mimikyu. 'How could I forget...? She looks up to me, not to mention she's still very young...' She gave her a comforting smile. "Don't worry sweetie, I'm right here okay?"
Mimikyu nodded. Passimian kept her grip on her until she calmed down. They all heard footsteps growing louder. They turned to see Ash and the others running up with Silvally alongside them.
"Passimian! Are you alright? Silvally told us you had gone missing" Ash said in concern.
"S-Sorry about that..." That's when she finally remembered. "But I can explain why."
She started to tell everyone what she saw and heard while she was gone.
"So the big boss of the group is becoming more tyrant like?" Ash asked.
"It's a possibility. He always had a bad temper, and punished anyone who didn't meet his expectations. He would always force everyone to do rigorous training. Some couldn't bare it and he banished them from the group. Others did adjust but I know for a fact just barely. And because the training was so hard, I especially struggled, but he let me stay" Passimian explained.
"That's awful! How could anyone be so cruel to their own kind" Serena said angrily. She suddenly felt Ash nudge her a little. He motioned her to look to her right. She turned to see Greninja giving her a side glare. She immediately turned away and stopped talking.
Ash decided to get back on track. "Hold on, you said he always let you stay despite your performance. Why is that?"
Passimian turned away in sadness. "He's my uncle...he was the only family I had left..."
Everyone gasped at this, except for Lycanroc, who just looked down.
"When I was little, he and my father were always at odds. My father was the big boss at the time, and everything was peaceful. He and my mother adored me and spoiled me often. My father always told me I was his pride and joy, and that some day I'll become the big boss just like him. However...that all changed...when he and my mother died..." Passimian explained.
Now, everyone was in utter shock at this revelation.
Passimian clenched her fists as they shook. "My uncle told me...that they were ambushed by another group of Passimian from Akala and were brutally killed. He told me he had found them close to death, and that my father's dying words were him to become the new big boss and to look after me..."
Lycanroc looked at her with deep sadness. "Passimian..." This hit too close to home for him as well.
"It was hard, like I said. But ever since then, my life just stayed so bitter, and I didn't want to ever train again, because I was afraid of dying too..." Passimian said as a few tears fell.
She suddenly felt Ash embrace her, catching her off guard.
"I'm sorry...I wish you didn't have to go through all that...and I made it worse..."
"What?" Passimian said with confusion.
"I made you train hard. I unknowingly put you through so much unwanted trauma, I'm so disgusted with myself..."
Passimian pushed him away. "N-No you didn't! Why would you even think that?!"
"I never considered your feelings Passimian...I'm sorry" Ash said with teary eyes. Serena placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Ash..." Passimian whispered.
"You're not the only one..." a voice said.
Everyone turned to see all the Pokémon with looks of sadness, with Lycanroc in front of them.
"We were all wrapped up in our own training that we never considered how each of us truly felt...we don't deserve to be called your teammates..." Lycanroc said.
The others agreed, each conveying their apologies. Passimian was speechless at everything that was happening. She started to shed tears. She was about to burst out when she felt a black claw whipping away her tears. She looked down to see Mimikyu looking at her.
"Don't cry...it makes us sad..." she said innocently. Everyone was silent. "When you feel sad, I feel sad too, when you feel hurt, I feel hurt too, and so does everyone else. So, please don't cry anymore, it hurts my feelings...!"
Passimian blushed at her words, her eyes widened.
"She's right" Silvally said.
"Yeah, we don't like seeing you sad, it'll just make us sad" Decidueye said.
"It's not a good feeling to have, especially from someone who is important to all of us" Greninja said.
"Yeah, you're so important to us Passimian, we can't help but feel hurt when you are" Pikachu added.
"We promise to always be there for you, ready to accept all your hurt feelings, and help you however we can. Not as teammates...but as a family" Lycanroc said.
"We love you Passimian" Mimikyu said.
All of Serena's Pokémon chimed in, agreeing and sharing their own words of encouragement. Passimian was about to cry again, but she stopped herself.
"Thank you...everyone..." she said as she rubbed her eye.
After some time they decided to head back. That plan ended when Mimikyu was suddenly grabbed by another Passimian and ran away.
"Mimikyu!" Ash cried out.
"Help meeee!!" She cried out in fear.
Passimian took off like a speeding bullet, going even faster than a Quick Attack. The others ran after them, but was slower than them.
"Passimian!!" Mimikyu cried out.
"Be quiet brat!" The bigger Passimian said. "The big boss wants to see you."
Mimikyu grew even more scared. The bigger Passimian looked around, not seeing Passimian anywhere. 'Guess I lost her.'
They eventually reached an open area. The bigger Passimian looked around and still didn't see her. Mimikyu kept squirming and crying.
"I said be quiet you little brat!!"
Passimian suddenly jumped out from right behind the two. Her body was all black, except for her eyes, which were all white. The bigger Passimian turned his head but was met with a hard kick to face. He was sent flying backwards, releasing his hold on Mimikyu. Passimian caught her and held her in her arms.
"Now you've done it..." she hissed.
The bigger Passimian looked up, only to shake with fear.
"Nobody...lays a finger...on my precious Mimikyu...and lives to tell about it..." Passimian growled with one side of her face still covered black. She slowly started to walk towards him. "So then...any last words bastard?"
"My my, that's quite the emotion young lady" a new voice said, one Passimian recognized. She turned to see a large Passimian with a large scar across his face smiling wickedly at her. "It seems I was wrong about you."
"Un-...Uncle?!" Passimian said with shock.
"Look at you, angry and ready to kill, you really are my niece after all." He looked at Mimikyu. "It seems motherhood did the trick I guess."
"M-Motherhood?!" Passimian stuttered. She looked at Mimikyu, who looked back at her. Making a split second decision, she looked at him again. "It did more than that. Now you've got about two seconds to tell me why your lackey kidnapped her or I'm gonna turn his face into a bowl soup!"
Boss Passimian laughed (official name for the remainder of the chapter). "You've definitely changed, how amusing. But I guess I do owe you an explanation huh." He kept his evil smile as he talked. "Y'see, the group has been falling apart these past few months. Some of the members have started to neglect their duties. Even with Gamma and Theta along with myself are having trouble keeping them in line. But after seeing your new incredible strength, I figured you would be perfect to help them be obedient again. You will help your dear old uncle with that, right?"
Passimian just stared at him. "...I'll help you."
Boss Passimian smiled happily. "Now that's my—"
He suddenly had to duck down, narrowly avoiding a Shadow Ball that was about to hit him. He looked up to see Passimian with her hand out, anger on her face.
"Help you go to hell that is!!" She growled. She had look of pure hatred on her face. "I'm gonna make sure you never rule again!"
Boss Passimian's eyes narrowed. "Is that a challenge?"
"If it means stopping you, then you're damn right it is" she said.
By this point, Ash and the others made it to them.
"Passimian! Mimikyu!" Ash yelled.
The others turned.
"Ash!" Passimian said.
"Aaaassshhh!" Mimikyu said with slightly comedic tears.
Boss Passimian looked closer at him. "You...you're that human that my niece protected."
"Yeah I am, what of it?" Ash sneered.
"Seems you can understand me. Well no matter, I have no business with you, this is between me and my niece" he said.
"Passimian is my friend! If anyone messes with her, then it is my business" Ash said.
Passimian's eyes widened as a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. 'Ash...'
Suddenly other Passimian started to arrive after hearing the noises. One gasped upon seeing her.
"O-...Onee-san?! Is that really you?!" She with tears.
Passimian turned and gasped. "Passi-chan!"
Passi-chan started to run forward, but was blocked by two larger Passimian.
"Stay back shrimp" Theta said.
"This is between the boss and the baby" Gamma said.
"So then, let's get this over with shall we?" Boss Passimian said.
"What's going on? Get what over with?" Serena said.
Ruffling was heard from Ash's backpack. Rotom suddenly flew out.
"Bee! Can't a dex get some rest-roto?!" That's when Rotom finally took in his surroundings. "Bee? What's going on? Why is Passimian challenging the boss for the title-roto?"
"Wait, THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Serena said in shock.
"Is that true Passimian?" Ash asked.
Passimian closed her eyes. She opened them as she glanced at Ash from the side. "If it means protecting the group from his rule, then yes." Passimian turned her back to him. 'And if it means protecting you...' she thought. She set Mimikyu down, who ran right into Ash's arms.
The two faced each other. Boss Passimian cracked his knuckles. "I'm gonna enjoy beating you to a pulp."
"...just try it."
Passimian fired off a Shadow Ball at Boss Passimian, who dodged it. He responded by powering up a brick break and running straight towards her. Passimian blocked him, unleashing her own brick break right into his chest. Boss Passimian flew backwards but remained on his feet. He held his hand on the point of impact. He suddenly chuckled.
"You really have gotten stronger, I must say I'm impressed."
"No thanks to you. It wouldn't have been possible without Ash's help" she said.
"Then let's see how much help you received!" Boss Passimian said as he ran forward again.
The two went back and forth. Exchanging hits and dodging punches. The two started to get tired, but Passimian stood strong. Boss Passimian got back up on his feet again.
"You...are stronger...no doubt about that" he said between breaths. He then looked at her with a wicked smile. "Not even your parents gave me this much trouble when I killed them!"
Passimian's breath stopped. She froze, trying to process what she just heard.
"...what...?" She whispered.
Everyone else was speechless as well. Boss Passimian laughed.
"That idiot brother of mine always thought he was better than me! He was always doted by everyone, while I was stuck in his shadow. He even stole the one I had feelings for. And then you were born and I knew you would be just the same as him. Adored by everyone and favored. It made me sick seeing your mother always showering you and him with love and affection! And even after all that, he still thinks of me as family! What a joke! I'm glad I finally disposed of him. Although your mother was just collateral damage, but back then she was no different than him."
Passimian felt her whole mind had shattered.
"S-So...everything you told me...was all a lie?" She whispered.
Boss Passimian smiled. "Duh, how could it not have been? Luckily you were just a dumb little brat who would believe anything back then."
Passimian's eyes shook. Memories of that night echoed in her mind. Her mouth started to open. After a memory of her parents smiling happily at her flashed, she screamed. Boss Passimian laughed.
"You finally understand now huh? You really are still just a dumb little brat."
"Bastard!!" Ash yelled. He started to run towards her, but was blocked by Gamma and Theta.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Gamma said.
"Well we would" Lycanroc growled as he came to Ash's side.
Theta joined Gamma, boxing in the boys. Serena and the others were about to help until Ash looked back at them. Looking into his eyes told Serena to wait for his signal.
Boss Passimian walked up to Passimian. He swung his arm across her face, crashing it into the ground. She started to get back up, but was hit again, this time even harder. She grunted in pain.
"I guess I was wrong, you're still WEAK! Still beneath my FOOT! A worthless PEBBLE! A waste of SPACE!" He said as he punched her after each sentence. Passimian was bleeding as she struggled to maintain conciseness. "You will always be...my niece..." He then punched her one last time, seemingly finishing her off.
"Passimian!!" "Passimian!!" Everyone yelled.
Passimian's eyes were barely open, but looked devoid of life. She heard voices echoing her name.
'Who...who is that...? Who's...who's speaking...?' She thought calmly.
She could barely see anything, only seeing fuzzy outlines. Two figures suddenly became clearer.
'Who...'
"Get up, you're not done yet" the female voice said.
"Our daughter isn't a quitter" the male said.
Passimian's eyes remained the same.
"You can do this. You're stronger than him" the female said.
"So get up. Show him just how strong you truly are" the male said.
"You can do it. Think of your friends, your loved ones. They believe in you, they always have" the female said.
"Rise sweetheart, rise and win" the male said.
Passimian's hand started to twitch. New memories of her time with Ash and the others swarming her mind.
"Rise!" They both said.
The ground started to shake. Everyone turned and gasped in shock. Red energy started to envelop Passimian.
Passimian slowly got to her feet, the energy slowly increasing. Everyone was in awe at this display. Passimian started to grunt. She then clenched her fist. She let out a huge battle cry as the energy around her fully ignited.
(You see the sunrise, a new day's upon you
You bite your nails, and your knees start to tremble
The time is upon you to show them what you can do
And soon they will know that the day has come)
"What...what is that?!" Boss Passimian said.
"Defiant..." Ash whispered. 'No...this is different...'
All they Pokémon looked on in awe. Lycanroc watched her closely. 'Passimian...'
Passimian was breathing heavily. She had never felt anything like this before. As she readied herself, she kept hearing everyone's voices from the past.
(Late into the night, I hear it stormin'. And into the rain is what I pray, and I'm hopin')
"You're stronger than you realize Passimian" Ash's voice echoed.
"You're amazing" Serena's voice echoed.
"We care about you Passimian" Decidueye's voice echoed.
"We all treasure you" Silvally's voice echoed.
"You're the coolest!" Mimikyu's voice echoed.
"We'll always have your back" Pikachu's voice echoed.
"You are strong, stronger than others" Greninja's voice echoed.
"You're pretty damn cool" Lycanroc's voice echoed.
(And into the rain is what I pray, and I'm hopin'
Now I feel the pressure of the city
Oh, how it eats me whole)
"I'll always have ones that believe in me..." Passimian said. Boss Passimian grew angry. "I'll always have ones...who are worth being strong for..." She revealed her eyes. They were glowing red and had a blazing fire of resolve in them. The wind blew harder.
(So many names and faces
Sleepless nights spent in unknown places
And every day I watch read into the great unknown)
Boss Passimian suddenly saw two see-through figures standing beside Passimian. The three moved together. This infuriated Boss Passimian.
(I'm not to blame
I'm gonna take a stand)
"Enough! Let's end this now you brat!" Boss Passimian yelled.
(Say my name)
"Go Passimian!!" Ash and Serena yelled.
"GO PASSIMIAN!!!" All the Pokémon yelled, including almost all the other Passimian.
(I'm telling you to reach out and finally take my hand)
Passimian and Boss Passimian narrowed their eyes. They let out grunts. They both jumped forward.
The two engaged in high speed hand to hand combat. Passimian blocked and deflected all of Boss Passimian's attacks. Passimian started to run even faster, blocking attacks with jumps and backflips. She spawned two Shadow Balls and threw them at him.
(Colliding fists, they're what's gonna make you
You grit your teeth or they gonna break you
The time is upon you to show them what you can do)
Boss Passimian spawned multiple copies of himself. Passimian just cracked her neck as she ran towards them.
(You're breaking the mold to show you're not them)
Passimian punched and kicked and fired off attacks at all the copies, none ever hitting her. She then hugged herself and then stretching them out, releasing a powerful Shock Wave attack, destroying many copies.
(Will we break through?
I don't know, don't know
The bells are ringing
Come out and play now)
She suddenly sprang up into the air. She jerked her head up so her eyes were facing the sky. A strong light started to glow from her mouth. With one last battle cry, she fired her most powerful Hyper Beam right into the area of Boss Passimian. A giant explosion erupted, being visible all around MeleMele.
(The time is upon you to show them what you can do
And soon they will know that the day has come)
The smoke eventually died down. Passimian was breathing heavily as the energy around her disappeared. Ash, Serena and the other Pokémon coughed as they unshielded themselves.
Ash looked and saw the two Passimian blocking him standing motionless. Serena joined him. They looked at each other. They turned forward and with one hand each, pushed the two Passimian, causing them to fall to ground.
They saw Passimian still standing, albeit covered in dry blood and scratches. Ash and his Pokémon ran up to her, hugging her with tears. Passimian did the same for them.
After the hug ended, Lycanroc looked at her. "See? I told you you were pretty damn cool."
Passimian giggled. They all suddenly heard groaning. They looked to see Boss Passimian still on the ground. Passimian scowled and walked up to him. He looked up and saw her.
"You..." he weakly growled.
"I don't care what you're gonna say. It won't change anything. But now you see that my parents weren't your biggest threat. It was me. And now...you're finished" Passimian said.
Boss Passimian tried to get up but couldn't. A shadowy figure suddenly appeared above them. They all looked to see Tapu Koko floating above them.
"Tapu Koko!" Ash said with a smile.
Tapu Koko smiled at Ash. He then floated down to match Passimian's height.
"That was an incredible display of power you unleashed, I'm greatly impressed."
"Th-Thank you" Passimian stuttered.
"I have something to ask of you" Tapu Koko said.
"What is it?"
"I would like you to become my island's representative" Tapu Koko said.
Everyone gasped.
"M-Me? You really want me?" Passimian said.
"Yes. You see, I have been watching you for quite some time now, and your journey to becoming stronger has convinced me that you were the right choice" Tapu Koko explained.
Passimian was still shocked. She looked at the other Passimian. Tapu Koko could tell what she was going to say.
"Don't worry, your group will be under my care as well."
Passimian smiled with relief. However that ended when she finally remembered the others. She turned to see them smiling at her.
"Good for you Passimian, I know MeleMele will be safe with you as Tapu Koko's representative" Ash said.
"No kidding" Decidueye said.
"Agreed" Silvally said.
Passimian's mouth winced, fighting back tears. Everyone walked up to her. Serena and her Pokémon stayed back, letting Ash and his team have their moment.
"You really have become stronger Passimian...just like I knew you would" Ash said.
Passimian struggled even harder to not cry. She suddenly felt something tugging at her. She looked down to see Mimikyu looking up at her. She picked her up.
"You're the coolest in the whole wide world..." she said.
Passimian smiled as she kissed the spot above her eyes.
They all looked at each other. A few seconds later they all entered a group hug, all letting out tears. Serena and her own Pokémon shedding a few tears.
After a minute they all ended the group hug. Everyone smiled at her.
"Good luck Passimian" Ash said.
"Do your best" the others said.
Passimian nodded. She began to walk away, memories flashed in her's and Ash's minds. Ash wiped a rouge tear with his thumb as he watched Passimian leave with Tapu Koko and the other Passimian. The former Boss Passimian and his two lackeys had been teleported away by Tapu Koko.
Ash closed his eyes one last time. He then turned his head to Serena.
"We better get back now. Our flight leaves in a couple days and your not fully packed right?"
"I'm almost done, but yeah, I guess we should" Serena said.
The group started to walk back towards the house. Ash looked back one last time. He smiled. He then turned forward again and caught back up with the others.
Unbeknownst to him, Passimian was doing the exact same thing that he did. They both formed smiles, internally thanking each other for everything.
And so ends the chapter! And so ends Ash and Passimian's journey together. I had considered Ash releasing Passimian early on, but didn't know how to play it out. It took some time, but eventually it happened. So the next chapter will be the transition from Alola to Galar. I hope you'll all stay tuned for that whenever it drops. Power to the Readers!
