Gregorio was invited on Imee's birthday.
"Imee!" Gorio said coming up to her, "Happy birthday!" He greeted.
"Oh Greggy, akala ko di ka na makakapunta hahaha!" Imee thank him for the gift he handed.
"Sorry medyo late kasi na traffic at kagagaling lang sa trabaho." Greggy explained.
"It's fine, hindi naman late. Siguro naging early lang yung mga bisita charot hahaha!" Imee chuckled the party was already finished.
"Sorry talaga uuwi na ako hinatid ko lang yung regalo ko." He said.
"No mag eat ka na muna here." Imee offered.
"Huh? Nakakahiya." Greggy declined.
"No it's fine, Bonget! Pag handaan mo nga to." Imee said.
The helper, give him a food a drink. "Sorry talaga mukhang patapos na kayo." Greggy said.
"No it's fine ano ba hahaha! Katulad mo kaming hindi uso ang matulog at bukas lagi ang bahay readying ready kami kaya." Imee joined him.
"So uhm... Your brother?" Greggy asked.
"Yes that's my brother, Bongbong, and I have a sister." She introduced.
"Oh, akala ko only child ka." Greggy chuckled.
"Grabe ka naman hahaha!" Imee laugh at him.
"Irene!" Imee called her sister, "May ipapakilala ako sa'yo." She added.
Of course as a masunuring kapatid Irene went on them.
"This is my sister, the youngest. Irene." She introduced.
Greggy suddenly stand up and offered a hand shake, "This is Mr Gregorio Araneta. A businessman."
"Glad to meet you, Miss Irene." Greggy said
Irene accepted the handshake, "I'm also glad, Mr Gregorio."
Imee smile teasingly, "Dito ka lang Irene. Malay mo soon maging businesswoman ka pala. Let's asked him for a words of wisdom?"
"Halla si Imee naman oh maka word of wisdom mukhang pastor naman ako nun?" Greggy laugh.
Irene staring at him, the deep laugh he let go make her heartbeat.
"Pogi na nga pogi pa ng boses." She said to herself.
"Miss Irene?" Greggy said caught her attention.
"Ohh ano po yun?" She asked shyly.
"You're cute when you started." Greggy unconsciously commented.
"Hoy ano yun? Hahaha!" Imee asked but liking how the bond flows.
"I mean I'm talking about. Saan na nga ulit tayo Imee?" Greggy look at Imee.
"Ewan ko sa'yo hahaha!" Imee can't help but to surpass a laugh.
When Greggy finished the food the three still continuing talking.
"I think madam Irene..." Irene cut him off as fast as she can.
"Madam daw?" Irene reacted.
Greggy laugh, "I mean miss Irene looks like engage."
"Sakit mo naman ho!" Irene sarcastically said.
"Nako Greggy! she's still single, no boyfriend since birth." Imee roll her eyes.
Irene slightly slapped her sister's arm.
"How come? She's sweet and beautiful. Pihikan? Walang makursunadahan?" Greggy asked.
"I'm believing in a right person comes in to right time." She said, but as soon as Greggy came earlier she thinks it's right time now.
"Ohh well yes that's actually good, bakit ka mag sasayang ng pagmamahal sa taong hindi mo naman pala end game?" Greggy chuckled,
"Pero hindi mo gayahin ang ate mo. Sa lahat ata tumesting na eme." It's their humor now. They look seemed not closed friend but they are close friend for many years.
"Greggy ano ba! Banned ka na dito ha! Ems hahaha!" Imee reacted.
"Well, iwan ko muna kayo since may aasikasuhin lang ako ha!" Imee wink at Greggy signalling him to do a move.
"Ahm well so single? Hahaha!" Greggy awkwardly asked again.
"Oo paulit ulit pinapamukha mo naman." Irene chuckled. "How about you? Nako businessman ka for sure madami ka ring businesses about girls?"
"Me? No I'm different from other man hahaha!" Greggy answered, "I'm searched for a wife that I will pamper until we got aged."
"May ganon pa ba? Sasamahan ka hanggang sa pag tanda?" Irene asked.
"Yes... I guess. Why don't you try?" Greggy asked.
"Huh?" Irene reacted.
"I mean you... You said you are searching for a right person. Syempre a right person will stay with you until the end." He answered.
Irene smile, "Yes. Pero parang wala nang ganon ngayon."
"Huy! Andito pa ako ano ba." Greggy reacted.
It made Irene laugh, "Ano ba?" She asked.
"Your voice kinda similar to Imee, but yours are sweetest." He commented.
"How about my ate?" She asked.
"Hmm? A strict and strong one? Like a coffee without any sugar? Eme hahaha! Baka may sumbong ka." Greggy take his time to stare.
"But we've been friends too long, hindi ko alam na may maganda siyang kapatid na katulad mo." He added.
"Galing ako sa London kaya hindi mo siguro ako kilala." She answered.
"Ohh, it's fine at least now I met you. So uhm before I go home can I get your number?" He asked.
"It's fine, as long as wag business number ibigay mo sa akin." Irene laugh.
They both agreed and change their numbers, "Ingat Greggy!" Irene bid a good bye.
"Madam Imee!" Greggy called her, "Happy birthday again! Thank you." He whispered.
"Good bye Irene! Let's grab some coffee soon!" He said once again before leaving the venue.
A birthday of her sister who inspired her to do a correct thing and be strong. Leads her to meet the love of her life, the right person she wanted to meet all time from her life.
"Happy birthday!" Greggy greeted, his sister in-law
"Parang noon lang." Imee look at the two married couple.
"Ikaw manang balak mo lang bang tumesting lang talaga? Hahaha!" Irene jokingly said.
"Grabe na kayo sa akin ha!" She reacted. They all laugh.
"Happy birthday manang. Thank you!" Irene hug her.
"Saan ka nagpapasalamat?" She asked.
"Sa pagiging matatag mo, sa pagiging strong mo. Para sa amin." She answered.
"Yun lang ba?" Imee chuckled a little.
"Yes? Bukod sa pinakilala mo si Greggy?" Irene laugh.
"Thank you ha! Mabuti ka talagang kaibigan hahaha!" Greggy laugh but even he laugh it's sincere word.
"Che! Mang aasar ka lang." Imee rolled her eyes.
