The opening ends to Jaune Arc getting pushed to the ground of Forever Fall right after the events of the "Forever Fall", groaning as he looks up and sees a sap-covered Cardin looming over him. The bigger warrior picks Jaune up by his front and grins while punching him back to the ground.
Cardin: You know that wasn't very smart, Jauney boy. (picks up a bruised Jaune again while the rest of Team CRDL watches) I'm gonna make sure they send you back to mommy in teeny tiny pieces.
Jaune: (head hanging back) I don't care what you do to me... (looks at Cardin with fury) ... but you are not messing with my team.
Cardin: (looking momentarily shocked) What? You think talk like that makes you tough? You think you're a big strong man now?
Jaune smiles in defiance. An enraged Cardin roars and raises his fist again, but just as the hit connects, a bright light shines from Jaune, and when the white fades from the screen, Cardin is crying out in pain as he holds his hand. Jaune, now back on the ground but completely healed, looks confusedly at his hands as they faintly glow white. While he stares, though, Sky Lark kicks Jaune in the back and gets him on his stomach, but he looks up and glares at the approaching Cardin.
Cardin: Let's see how much of a man you really are...
Onyx(off-screen): That's funny. We were about to say the same thing about you.
Jaune and Team CRDL turn towards the voice, only to see Team SDOW. This causes Team CRDL to be afraid, Watari looks at Jaune with concern and sees him looking back at the others.
Watari: You okay Lady Killer?
Jaune: Yeah. I've been better.
Cardin(nervous): Oh no. Wh-wh-where did you guys come from?
Damian: You didn't know? We've been watching you guys all along.
Sky: What?
Dove: So you guys heard the whole thing ?
Silver: Every word.
The entire team starts to get nervous and Damian slowly walks forward, then immediately his entire body starts to glow around him, hair turning yellow and his eyes turning blue. This causes everyone except Silver to be either in awe or scared.
Onyx: Whoa.
Jaune: Damian's hair is glowing and that bright light must be his Aura.
Cardin(nervous): This is bad. He looks extremely pissed off and ready to fight.
Watari: I've seen nothing like this. Does that mean Damian is pissed off and should we stand back?
Silver: You guys should step back. I'll be waiting for Damian's orders. This should be entertaining.
Watari and Onyx look directly at Silver, they step back and watch their leader very carefully.
Damian: You know, when I was traveling around Remnant looking for bad guys, I remember going to Sanctum watching this beautiful Redhead fighting for her title in the Mistral Region Tournament, she was focused, determined, skilled, smart, honorable, the best fighter I've seen among many Huntresses, so many people among the crowds were amazed at this young woman. But one person out of the crowd didn't cheer, she just watched and closed her eyes, hoping that she'll be okay. I looked at this woman and told her that she'll be fine. The girl won the fight and I was fortunate enough to meet her. Her name is Pyrrha Nikos and the woman I met was her mother.
The guys continue to look at Damian with fear as he continues his story.
Damian: They invited me to their house and I was able to go a few rounds with Pyrrha Nikos and get to know her. She was thinking about which Academy she wanted to go to and told me it was Beacon Academy. I knew that the decision was a personal one and after she told her mother, she wasn't upset or angry, just happy to see her daughter living the dream. Of course I knew that she would worry about her daughter so I made her a promise, I swore upon my very heart that no harm will come upon her daughter and I keep my word. Of course this promise isn't just for her, but to everyone.
Damian gets angry.
Damian(angry): And you idiots decide to pull this crap on one of friends.
Cardin: It's just a prank.
Damian: Pranks are for children!
Damian power begins to increase and everyone sees that.
Damian: While I am not upset on you getting revenge on me. I make it very clear to those who are thick headed like you. (gritting his teeth and fuming) You pick on the weak and defenseless, hurt them, think that you can do whatever you want, believing that nobody can touch you, blackmail others, and you pull something like a prank on one of my friends!
The area begins to shake and small bits of lightning starts to spark around Damian causing everyone expect Silver to be afraid.
Damian: While I hold no grudge against you for harming us, I am not emotional because we can just beat you half to death whenever. But, you made a crucial error on your prank.
Cardin(nervous): An error?
Damian: Your prank would bring a number of Rapier Wasps who love sweets and towards Pyrrha, but that would also mean that they would swarm my girls.
Onyx: Does he mean...?
Watari: Ruby and Yang?
Silver: Yup.
Jaune: That's right. I almost forgot Damian has quite a strong relationship with them. I get the sense, he's extremely angry and he's about to explode.
Damian: MY GIRLS!
Damian fires an energy blast away from them, destroying a number of trees and giving an intense glare.
Damian: No sense of forgiveness or honor will save you boys. No for that, I will destroy you ALL WITHOUT ANY HESITATION!!!!!!!
Damian flies towards Cardin and gets ready to end his life with one strong punch.
Onyx: Damian!
Watari: Don't do it!
Jaune: Stop!
Silver doesn't react and sees that Damian immediately stops, only for them to hear a low growl which surprises Team CRDL and they turn around and sees a large paw crash onto the scene, belonging to a huge Ursa Major with dozens of jagged spikes sticking out from its wide back. It leaps forward and stands over the terrified students which is Team CRDL and Jaune, lifting its head in the air to smell the sap on Cardin's breastplate. It lands back on its forelegs and roars at Cardin while his teammates heroically flee.
Team SDOW looked at the Ursa Major and back at Jaune.
Russel: That's a big Ursa!
Cardin is rooted to the spot when the Grimm swings its claws and knocks him sideways, revealing Jaune cowering behind him. The Ursa continues to sniff, uninterested in Jaune and following its nose to Cardin. He watches at it towers over Cardin, who gets his wits and pulls out The Executioner only for the monster to swipe it away to Jaune's feet. He looks conflicted, wondering whether to fight or run away. Meanwhile, Team SDOW moves around the Ursa giving it fits, attacking in different locations.
Damian(to the others idiots): Get out of here! We'll hold it off!
The other members of Team CRDL ran.
Meanwhile, the roar of the giant Ursa is heard by the members of Teams RWBY and JNPR, still collecting sap on the other side of the forest.
Ruby: (getting up, concerned) Did you guys hear that?
Suddenly, the remaining members of Team CRDL are seen running the other way from the roar through the other students.
Russel: (looking back) Ursa! Ursa! (he runs into Yang accidentally)
Yang: What?! (completely unfazed by his collision, she picks him up by the front of his shirt) Where?
Russel: (struggling and still running in air, but points back from where they came) Back there! It's got Cardin!
Pyrrha: (dropping her jar of sap) Jaune!
Ruby: (going into leader mode) Yang! You and Blake, go get Professor Goodwitch! (dropping Russel, Yang and Blake nod before following the orders)
Pyrrha: (to Lie Ren and Nora Valkyrie as she and Ruby activate their weapons) You two, go with them! There could be more!
Cardin is attempting to run from the following Ursa, but it leaps over its prey and claws him away. He tries to get up and crawl away.
Cardin: Crap! Crap, crap!
Pyrrha: (she, Ruby, and Weiss come on to the scene) Oh, no!
Damian and his friends see the girls, then they back off from the fight and remain with the girls.
They watch as the Ursa leans over the helpless victim, raising its paw and swiping it down... only to be blocked by Jaune's shield, Crocea Mors. He struggles to defend a stunned Cardin from its attempts to lean on him, but Weiss lifts Myrtenaster as she prepares to go help.
Pyrrha: (to Weiss) Wait!
Jaune takes the shield out from the Ursa's paw and slashes at its stomach, causing it to lash out and try to crush him. He rolls out of the way and jumps over its swipe at his feet, but he is unprepared for when it launches a claw at him in midair. He lands far away, yet is immediately back on his feet and passing Cardin as he charges again. The Ursa knocks Jaune behind it when he tries for a leaping attack, and he looks at the Scroll in his shield to find out that his Aura level is in the red. He grows angry again and starts to run at the Ursa as it also begins to dash towards him.
As they are just about to clash in slow-motion, Pyrrha sees that Jaune has left himself completely open to the Ursa's attack, and lifts her hand out to him, gathering dark red energy in her arm. Just as the Ursa is about to hit him, the glow surrounds Jaune's shield and makes it lift up to block the swipe. Jaune uses the surprise defensive move to lean on the ground, push his shield back up, and swing his blade right through the Ursa's neck. The head falls to the ground as the body slams onto the ground.
Ruby: (as Pyrrha's hand stops glowing and she smiles) Uhhh... What?
Weiss: (equally amazed) How did you...?
Pyrrha: Well, Ruby has her speed, you have your glyphs. My Semblance is polarity.
Ruby: Whoa, you can control poles...
Weiss: No, you dunce! It means she has control over magnetism!
Ruby: (still impressed, whispering) Magnets are cool, too...
Weiss: (noticing Pyrrha start to leave) Wait, where are you going?
Ruby: Yeah! We gotta tell them what happened!
Pyrrha: We could... Or perhaps we could keep it our little secret? (walks away again as Ruby and Weiss smile to each other in understanding and a bruised Jaune sheathes his weapon before going over to Cardin)
The boys follow the girls, but Damian suddenly stops walking and looks back at Jaune. Cardin, still covered in sap, looks up at Jaune as his savior offers a hand. Cardin smiles as he takes it and is lifted back up on his feet.
Cardin: Holy crap, Jaune!
Jaune: (threateningly) Don't ever mess with my team - my friends - ever again. (as Jaune stares Cardin dead in the eye) Got it?
Cardin looks intimidated, possibly even apologetic. With his order spoken, Jaune turns and walks away from a frozen Cardin.
Damian walks towards Jaune and they look at each other, then Damian nodded his head, showing his utmost respect towards him, this caught Jaune by surprise and he smiles back at him, meaning "thank you".
Cardin sees Damian walking towards him, causing to get nervous and Damian delivers a powerful right cross sending him to the ground.
Damian: Be grateful. I calmed down thanks to that Ursa Major. If I was back to my old angry self, I would have killed you. Wouldn't you agree, Silver?
Silver: 100%
Damian and Silver smile at each other, then walk away.
Damian: You do realize that this isn't enough for a punishment, right?
Silver: Oh I'm well aware.
Damian: Good. I believe another training session is required. (smile) Team training, do you get what I mean?
Silver(smile): I do indeed. However, I believe we could use some volunteers to join us. Efficient, don't you think?
Damian: I agree. Watari and Onyx will no doubt want to join in the exercise.
Silver: Of course.
Ruby comes back with her bringing Yang.
Yang: I heard about what happened. I gotta say, I'm glad things ended well.
Damian: Me too.
Ruby: Hey Damian, Silver, level with me. You guys knew Pyrrha was going to help Jaune, right?
Silver: We did.
Yang: Interesting.
The boys begin to walk away, only for Ruby and Yang to stop them.
Yang: Not so fast.
Ruby: Aren't you two forgetting something?
Damian: Are we?
Silver: Odd. (smiles) Care to remind us?
Ruby walks towards Silver and pulls him into a passionate kiss. Yang grabs Damian and pulls him into a very passionate kiss as well. The boys were somewhat surprised, but they returned the kiss back to their girlfriends and it lasted for a few minutes before parting their lips for air.
Yang: Do you remember now?
Damian: Almost. You may have to do that again.
Yang of course is happy to oblige and they kiss again.
Ruby does the same thing and kisses Silver. After a couple of minutes, they back away again.
Ruby: How about now?
Silver: We owe you cuddles?
Ruby and Yang giggled.
R&Y: That and also a date.
Damian: A date?
Yang: Yeah, it's been awhile since we last hangout together.
Ruby: She's right. Also, you guys did say you want to give us both some attention.
Damian: Looks like they got us there.
Silver: Well then. (bows) If that is your desire, then it shall be done.
Ruby giggles.
Damian: Let's go on a double date tomorrow and take a nice walk around the city.
Yang: That sounds like a wonderful idea.
Yang and Ruby each grab their boyfriend's by their arm, then started to walk together. However, as they continue to walk, Damian without drawing any attention senses a mysterious amount energy and continues to keep, wondering what that mysterious force plans to do, but instead it doesn't make a move.
It suddenly retreats and leaves them alone.
Damian continues to look at Yang and sees her beautiful smile.
Silver looks at Damian and knows something is wrong, but then looks at Ruby who has her head on his shoulder and he smiles at her. But, it doesn't change the fact that something is wrong. So he speaks to Damian telepathically.
Silver(to Damian): What's wrong? Sense something?
Damian(to Silver): It's nothing. Must've been my imagination.
Silver: You must be forgetful because I told you I can tell when people are lying. Try again. Sense something?
Damian: My answer is the same as before. It. Was. My. Imagination.
Silver and Damian continue to walk with their girlfriends, the met up with the others in their room to discuss some things. Silver of course wasn't very satisfied with Damian's answer but knows that his leader doesn't really care how he felt about it.
Damian: So are you guys okay with this training?
Watari: I don't mind.
Onyx: Yeah. It sounds fun.
The boys left their dorm room and went to go see Team CRDL. Silver knocks on their door and Sky opens it only to wish he didn't open the door, Onyx kicks him towards Dove and lands on top of him.
Cardin(nervous): Wh-wh-what do you guys want?
Team SDOW: Payback.
The boys walk inside and close the door, then deliver their own payback on the entire group which lasted for two whole hours.
The boys walk out feeling completely refreshed.
Watari(stretches): Well, that was a very good stress reliever.
Onyx: I agree. (yawns) I am going to bed. Goodnight.
Watari: I'm going to do the same thing. See ya tomorrow.
Damian and Silver wave back at the guys, then waited to be alone and look at each other with a bit of anger. Silver confronted Damian and the two of them were talking and walking together.
Damian: This isn't the time to argue with me. I already told you that it isn't important.
Silver: And I told you that I know when someone is lying. Why do you insist on testing that?
Damian: Because that's just who I am. Just because we're friends and teammates, doesn't mean I trust just anyone. As leader, it's my job to keep people safe. Including my teammates and I am the one who decides on whether people need to be in the need-to-know business.
The two of them looked at each other with serious faces and then suddenly they both sense an incredible amount of energy. This causes the two of them to use a burst of speed in order to hit outside of the school together.
They make out of the building and suddenly realized that the energy they felt is gone.
Damian: It's gone.
Silver sees Damian making a fist with his left hand and he looks back at him only to realize that Damian is on edge.
Silver: Still think it was your imagination?
Damian: I never truly believed it was. Listen, I can't tell you what or who this power is from. Just know that it's personal and that is all you need to know for now.
Silver: Copy that.
Damian: I better go check on Jaune and Pyrrha. You go get some rest, tomorrow will be a long day.
Silver nods his head and hits back to the dorm while Damian makes his way to Team JNPR.
Later that night, on top of the dorm building, a uniformed Jaune stands on the edge and looks into the distance at the green lights of Beacon.
Pyrrha (off-screen): No Cardin tonight? (walks to his side) I thought you two were best buds?
Jaune: (turning to her) Pyrrha... I'm sorry. I was a jerk! You were only trying to be nice, and... I had all this stupid macho stuff in my head-
Pyrrha: Jaune! It's okay! (as they smile at one another, she adds:) Your team really misses their leader, you know. (she begins to walk to the exit) You should come down! Ren made pancakes! No syrup, though - you can thank Nora for that!
Jaune: (smiles, but holds out his hand and calls out:) Wait! (Pyrrha turns around, and Jaune looks sheepish) I know I don't deserve it after all that happened, but... would you still be willing to help me... to help me become a better fighter?
Pyrrha turns around so a worried Jaune won't see her satisfied smile. She goes up to Jaune and suddenly pushes her leader to the ground.
Jaune: (whining) Hey!
Pyrrha: (standing over him with her arms on her hips and an evaluating tone) Your stance is all wrong. You need to be wider and lower to the ground. (she offers him her hand, which he graciously accepts, and they continue to hold on to and grin at each other) Let's try that again.
Damian(off-screen): you might want an extra teacher.
Pyrrha and Jaune look at Damian who has his arms crossed.
Jaune: Damian?
Pyrrha: Where did you come from?
Damian: Ren let me in. Anyway, I see you're in the middle of something.
Jaune: Yeah. Pyrrha is going to help me train. Starting with my stance.
Damian: Is that right?
Damian looks at Pyrrha and she tries not to blush of course.
Damian: Do you mind if I join?
Pyrrha: S-Sure.
Damian: Excellent. Let's get started.
