Why did i even bring him here?
What has gotten into my head to feel bad? Im kaden sage i never felt bad to someone who doesn't need it.
But how can i just leave him if he looks at me with his big pleading eye's as if he was about to cry?
"Doon nalang kayo ako sa car mo" "bakit not mo sinabi na here pala you pupunta!!" "huhu uwi nalang ako kuya kaden" this are all his words since i told him to get out of the car. Well he have a choice.
Its either i drag him out or he willingly step out.
Its his to make.
His last words got me to glance at him. He sounded really worried and his voice sounded small, he even called me kuya and not the usual 'pogi'
Now that i did, he do genuinely look nervous as he clutch both of his hand on the hem of my hoodie.
"You'll be fine" i stated just to somewhat make him feel at ease.
Its not like my family will eat him alive.
I didnt bother ringing the door, i open it and what greet us is the loud chatter matching it with music which is not that loud compare to their chatter.
But as soon as i open the door. It became silent. All eyes on me...no on this kid behind me.
He's almost as tall as me does he really think he won't be seen?
"KUYA NYEBE!" it was gavi and lyra who broke the silence.
I can already feel the headache that i'll have for this whole day.
"GAVI! LYRA HUHU BUTI NANDITO KAYO!" i sigh. Loudly.
I dont know why but i did.
I looj at how he hug my siblings while they jump on their feet like maniacs.
His nervousness now cannot be seen anywhere.
He was beaming as he chatter with gavi and lyra.
How close are they? Why haven't i heard of this?
not even a minute later he was being pulled to the direction where most of my cousins are.
"Baka matunaw yan" Was i been staring? I turn my head to look at who spoke.
Its my twin.
"Dont start with me" banta ko sa kanya before heading straight to the kitchen to put the groceries i brought down.
"Explain later" salubong sakin ni zio kipler with that mischievous eyes, making me groan as he pat my shoulder.
Damn it.
I just hope no one's in the kitchen-- cant really hope that.
"Fofo" i smile as he greeted me with a hug.
Im towering over him. Who would have thought that he's fifty eight years old now, he barely even look forty if you ask anyone.
He kiss my cheeks before letting me go but his eyes are already asking questions.
"I just took pity on him fofo nasaraduhan siya sa bahay niya" i explained as i start pulling out all the stuffs that i bought from its bag.
He chuckle softly kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.
Did i say anything funny?
He reach up and flick my forehead softly "parehas talaga kayo ng nonno mo laging nakakunot noo. My question was actually not about him...itatanong ko lang kung nabili mo yung thyme and basil powder na pinapabili ko" his eyes gleamed with amusement as he answered.
What? Did i just assume? What the hell?
I avoided his gaze having enough of being read for none existing things, it was nothing.
I silently move the bottle of thyme and basil to him as i tried hard not to let their teasings get into my head.
That kid might have a pair of the most beautiful eyes i have ever seen aside from my fofo and papa's but its not enough. Isa pa like what i've said i don't date teenagers.
Specially a childish loud one at that.
After helping fofo clean the kitchen with zia zoey and zia kaori teasing me we finished after a short period of time dahil patapos na din naman sila magluto kanina pa.
I was walking back to the living room while wiping my hand with a hand towel when i finally notice how quiet they had gone.
The music turned off and the only thing that can be heard was of the piano being played.
Might be bel-- i look up and cut off my own thoughts.
It is indeed bel but not only him, nyebe was seated beside him while they play.
My eyes was drawn to him...how can someone so loud, energetic and noisy make such beautiful melody?
What? What did i just thought of?
His fingers dance swiftly and gracefully along the keys as if he has been doing it all his life.
"Now i remember him, i once watch him play as a finale in david geffen hall, from the julliard school 3rd year student" i turn my head to look at who spoke.

He smile at me "im a fan of him but belphoebe is an even bigger fan" he added, i know behind those smiles are implications.
Do they really think that i actually have any sort of relationship or feelings with a guy i just met? A kid?
Just as i turn my gazeback at them, they had already finish the piece and everyon clapped loudly while shouting compliments.
I watch in amusement as the guy--- nyebe wave and bow while saying thank you as if he really did a grand performance... but he ended it with a bashful laugh.
Suddenly his eyes catch mine. Saglit siyang napatigil bago ngumiti ng malaki while tilting his head almost unnoticeably.
He was silently asking if i saw it.
I answer it with a brief nod not having any reason to deny it.
His eyes lit up acknowledging my answer making me chuckle under my breath. A kid.
After that everyone went back to their own thing. I guess.
I decided to check on him, i bought him here, he's my responsibility.
He was jumping a little on his feet with his hand behind his back as he waited for me to reach him? His doe eyes already on me as his smile never dying down.
I can see bel looking at me with curious yet amused eyes propabably thinking just like the others do.
Its not true.

Im just doing this out of pity.
"You holding up?" I asked when i was close enough.
He nod with a bright smile... too bright its almost blinding "yep! Di naman pala scary family mo pero grabe all ba kayo ay model? Huhu grabe visual almost scary tumabi baka magmukha akong yayo nyo teh"
I was dumbfounded.
Last time it was pogi...now its teh? I have never been called with such thing my whole life.
Ngayon lang.
I can see bel covering his mouth trying to stiffle his laughter.
Is this kid being for real?
"Oy teh natulala ka na!-" Puna niya sakin but his attention quickly change to bel when he looks like as if he remember something. ".. ay bel di ba you want din makapasok sa julliards you want me to help you ba? I can give you pointers tapos let me hear your own piece"
Bel whole face lit up something i barely see...he's always so calm and mature but he looks like a kid right now.
Infront of a person that i guess... he admire more than he admire me or shiloh.
"Yes po kuya e-be if okay lang po" he shyly answered as he fiddle with his finger.
Nyebe giggle before grabbing bel's hand "kyut mo! Pero wag ka ma shy syempre ill help you basta sabihin mo lang when and where" masigla niyang sagot as if he's familiar with my brother.
Bel relaxed which surprises me but at the same time confused me. Bel don't trust someone he just met at first sight so this is new. Have they met before?
I watch how this kid talked like there's no tomorrow, how my brother laugh and giggle at his weird jokes and words.
His eyes sparkling with happiness and ecxcitement as if there was something exciting about a normal conversation.
His voice and laughter sounding as cheerful as he looks.
His eyes lighting up even more when bel answers him.
I have never encounter such person. Ngayon lang.
I decided to leave them at it and head to where zio justin is.
"Zio" i called him.
He immediately turn to me and beam "kaden!" He pull me in a hug which i returned with a small smile.
He just came home after a week of being out for his mission.
"What the! Anlaki laki mo na mas matangkad ka pa sakin!! Alexander genes yan no!" He hold me by my shoulder as he move around trying to see what change in me.
I chuckle a little knowing that he's just joking but let him do what he wants.
I miss him. Everyone knows how much i like zio jah more than the others the reason being, i admire how smart he is.
After all after my dad he's the mastermind of all their missions.
He have this creative mind that until now no one can par with aside from dad.
They are the best duo when it comes to intelligence while zio kipler and dad are the best duo for physical intelligance.
"Oy oy oy ano yan!" Here comes zio justin's husband. Zio ken.
I stare back at his challenging gaze.
Im just actually having fun getting all this funny reaction from him whenever im talking to zio jah.
Unlike before i dont cling to him, that would be weird now that im old enough.
Zio jah gave me this look that says eto na naman tayo matching it with an eye roll that makes me smirk at zio ken who keeps glaring at me.
"Hoy! Lumayo layo ka sa asawa ko bata gagawin kitang asado!" Banta nya which i didnt reply to.
Me not answering will rile him up even more thats why i do it, para asarin siya lalo.
"Ken dumpit suson! Umayos ka nga!" See? Zio justin will handle him for me.
"Ga kita mo yang mata nyan? Nangaasar yan!" I chuckle at that, zio ken knows me well just like how i know to rile him up.
"Oo na oo na asan si elixir di ba nagpapasama sayo yun?" I can already tell that he forgot about eli.
His eyes widen "hala oo nga sabi ko kukuha lang akong susi"
I watch how zio jah smack zio ken lightly before pulling him by his ear para puntahan siguro si elixir.
He nod at me and wave "later kaden" i nod and gave a half hearted salute letting them go their way.
Its admirable how they almost haven't change despite the years that had passed by aside from the few wrinkles and new knowledges that they acquire over the years everyone was pretty much the same.
I look around in wonder. Its not a new thing for all of us to find time and hang around one another. Family time was always our priority. Nothing new aside from him...
My eyes zoom in on him as he talk with my cousins as if they have known them for years.
How. how can someone like you gain my families interest and trust?
We dont trust anyone this easily so how did you do it?
