*(warning?)*: if you are squeamish to body injuries, this imagine may not be for you. I'm a psycho and like writing stories where characters are hurt, which is what is in this imagine.

Sorry not sorry! (I also may come out with a second part to this since there's too much to write in one chapter as you can see because of how long it is.)

Word count: 2222

.

Quick summary: you are the 9th member of Stray Kids. You've never had any injuries or anything like that while dancing. At least nothing worse than a paper cut or bruise from walking into a wall around the dorm. But this time, due to the tiniest mistake, you experienced something much worse than a paper cut. Something that could ruin your dancing career.

***

You rarely made any mistakes during practice. You were always prepared to correct yourself before the move you were worried on, and you always kept an eye on the others to see if they made any mistakes. Perhaps it was the perfectionist in you that made you like this, but it helped you a ton whenever you had to perform.

However, today you weren't tuned in all the way. You kept finding yourself zoning out when dancing which made you a little sloppy and behind. Yet you couldn't even correct yourself because of how out of it you were.

The reason why you were zoning out deep into your endless thoughts, was because of your mom. She was frustrated with you not visiting her back in your hometown. If it weren't for your schedules, you would go and surprise her, but you were too swamped every day back to back. She just didn't understand that you, being an idol, is busy and very tiring.

She kept calling and texting throughout the night. Each text progressively got more and more mean and cruel. So you ended up crying yourself to sleep because you were too stubborn to not listen to her hurtful words.

A hand suddenly landed on your shoulder, making you practically jump out of your skin. Turning around, you saw Chan standing on your left.

"You scared me," you said with a slight laugh, bending over to hide your tired smile. Although Chan looked worried.

"Are you okay?" he asked, crouching down in front of you since you still had your hands on your legs.

You only nodded your head and stood up straight with your hands on your hips, pushing away the thoughts from last night. Chan, too, stood up and didn't protest.

"Are you going to be up for the stunt today? You seem exhausted already," Chan asked with a slight laugh, hoping you would laugh as well.

You nodded quickly, snapping yourself back into reality. "Yes, yeah. Of course,"

Chan nodded his head and gave you a smile with a pat on the head. He went over to the person whom was working on replaying the music for all of you so you could practice without having to worry about pausing and unpausing the music every time.

You felt like you could breathe freely again once he walked away to play your stunt part. You hadn't practiced it too much with Changbin and Jeongin, who you have to do your stunt in between, so it's going to be a little different.

"Okay, let's practice the stunt part," Chan announced with a loud clap from his hands.

He called Changbin and Jeongin over as he approached you in the middle of the room. The stunt, was supposed to be you doing a round off in between Changbin and Jeongin onto their shoulders. Easy, right? That's if they can catch you.

"You two will stand right about..." Chan's voice trailed off as he moved Changbin and Jeongin around a bit. "Here!"

Chan stood back, thinking silently of what they should do as soon as you get in between them.

"You two should probably get on one knee and have your arms out ready to grab onto her legs," Chan explained.

Both Changbin and Jeongin then got onto their knees simultaneously. You were feeling a little nervous to do a stunt, to be honest. It was your very first stunt in your performances with the group. Chan went over to you and gave you a pat on your shoulder after seeing your nervous state.

"You'll do good, okay?" Chan said with a certain tone to his voice that made it seem softer than usual. It calmed you down a bit.

You nodded, wiping your sweaty palms off so you didn't slip on the ground. Chan stood back and gave the music director at the laptop a thumbs up, cueing him to play the music.

After you did the stunt for the first time, you almost got it if it weren't for your poor balancing skills. You landed your leg on Changbin's shoulder and not Jeongin's which caused you to stumble a bit.

So you did it again. Everyone was watching this time.

You went ahead and put your hands on the ground for the round-off, but something wasn't right. Your hand slipped, sending you straight onto the floor with too much force. Although it wasn't the landing that hurt you.

You couldn't move your shoulder.

"Are you okay?!" Chan rushed over to you, making a scene which caused everyone to circle around you.

You shook your head with your eyes squeezed shut, pointing to your shoulder. You brought your hand up to hold it, and that's when your heart dropped.

You dislocated your shoulder.

You've never done it before, but you knew what it felt like. It was completely out of place.

You couldn't get any words out. Your eyes just went wide with fear, and that's when you felt sick to your stomach at the thought of your shoulder not being in the right place.

"Get somebody," you said, almost hyperventilating from the sudden pain.

Chan quickly waved over one of the staff members before crouching down next to you. All of the boys were huddled around you and Chan, giving you space of course.

The staff member, Jihoon, crouched down at your side.

"What happened?" he asked with concern, taking gloves out of his pocket and quickly sliding them onto his hands.

You shook your head nervously, remembering the horrific fall. Now remembering it, you swore you heard a terrible sound coming from your shoulder. You only pointed at your shoulder again.

Jihoon gently went to touch your shoulder but you flinched to fast, causing you to wince from your own movement. All of the others were watching closely, visibly nervous and worried for you.

"Do you have something on underneath your hoodie?" Jihoon asked quickly. You could barely decipher what he said.

You nodded your head and looked the other way, still feeling uneasy. You were hoping not to pass out. Jihoon removed your hoodie gently, but hurriedly. Then you heard murmurs and small gasps from the others, making your heart drop once more.

"Can we get a doctor in here?!" Jihoon shouted, looking out the hallway door.

You were on the verge of tears. Equally from the pain and from the thoughts of not being able to dance properly for a long time.

"You're okay, you're okay," you heard a soft voice say from your good side. You shook your head, breathing in deeply, careful not to move your shoulder in fear of creating more damage.

You opened your eyes and saw Chan sitting down next to you.

"Can everyone back up and give her some space please?" the doctor said loudly, shooing them away.

Chan didn't move a muscle and neither did Minho. They were both distracting you from the doctor on your other side.

As you heard him counting down, your anxiety spiked through the roof. Your heart pounded fast.

"Squeeze my hand if you need to," Minho said, reaching his hand out to you.

You didn't even hesitate to grab his hand.

"1...2...3!"

You let out a painful scream, squeezing Minho's hand unintentionally. Tears fell down your face as you threw your head back. You wished in that moment that someone could have warned you about how painful dislocated shoulders are.

...

After getting the proper treatment at the hospital soon after the accident, Changbin drove you both home. Aside from having to wear a sling for a few days, the doctor told you that you won't be able to dance fully for at least a couple months. You could almost feel your heart break.

When you walked into the dorm with the help of Changbin holding the door for you, you were warmly welcomed with familiar faces.

"She's back!" Seungmin exclaimed happily with a big smile.

You couldn't not smile, so you flashed a quick fake one at all of them who greeted you.

"How long will you have to wear that?" Felix asked, referring to your sling.

You tucked your sad face away and looked over to Felix. "Just for a couple of days,"

It wasn't long before you felt a little crowded being in between all of them. Don't get me wrong, you were so happy that they were worried for you, but you need space. Especially with how you were feeling right now.

Changbin handed Chan the painkillers for you as you slipped away into your bedroom. What you were feeling was a mix of emotions and a lot of pain because of the swelling. You couldn't get comfortable because you so badly wanted to move around freely without feeling restricted from the sling. It was the most annoying thing ever.

There was a lump in your throat forming from guilt. But it wasn't long before there was a knock on your bedroom door.

Chan popped his head in with a bright smile. You couldn't lie to yourself, it made you feel a bit better.

"I have an ice pack for you, but I have work to get to so I can't hold it unfortunately," Chan said with a little waddle in his walk as he approached you.

You looked down at your hands on your lap. You just wanted to lay down and go to sleep comfortably after a long day. Perhaps it was because you were exhausted, or you just finally broke down, but tears were flooding in your eyes.

Chan's face dropped. "I can get Hyunjin in here if you want?" Chan quickly said, sitting down next to you on the edge of the bed.

"It's not that," you shook your head slightly, still looking down.

"Do you want painkillers?"

You shook your head again.

"I shouldn't have done the stunt, I was too out of it earlier," you finally said after a few silent moments.

Chan looked at you, listening closely. You spared him a quick glance and let out a sigh.

"I can't dance for 3 months, Chan," you said with a broken voice.

Chan shook his head. "I don't care."

Your head shot up his way. He's not mad?

"I want you to heal however long you need to heal. I don't care about dancing right now, I care about you," he said with much sincerity laced in his voice as he didn't break eye contact once.

You swallowed hard, feeling that familiar feeling of guilt crawl up your throat. You could only nod your head at him, afraid that if you speak further you'll break down crying.

"I am not blaming you, okay?" Chan added softly, tilting his head slightly.

You nodded and quickly wiped the tear that threatened to fall from your eye. Chan gave you a smile and put the ice pack in your palm.

"Do you want Hyunjin?" he asked, standing up from the bed as he approached the door.

You shamelessly nodded with a small laugh, watching him leave the room to get Hyunjin for you.

The rest of the night, you and Hyunjin stayed together watching dramas on your bed. He was more than happy to give you his shoulder to lean your head on. It was the most comfortable you had been in the past few hours.

Jisung and Minho even came in to watch a few episodes with you guys until they began bickering with each other like an old married couple.

"She should have kissed him."

"Are you crazy, Minho? He's literally her ex, why would she do that?"

"Um because her boyfriend just cheated on her-"

"By hugging his classmate?"

"YES!"

"If you guys are going to do this back and forth...vacate the room now," you said with a groggy voice, still leaning up against Hyunjin for support.

Jisung and Minho both turned to look at you and agreed. As they were standing up, they began arguing again.

"Ah..." Hyunjin groaned with annoyance, watching them leave the room noisily.

After moving wrong, you suddenly felt a sharp pain shoot through your shoulder, causing you to wince quietly. Hyunjin looked down at you with worry.

"Was that me? I'm sorry," he quickly apologized, not moving a muscle.

You only shook your head, trying to find the comfortable spot again. "It was me,"

Even the slightest movement was painful for you.

This was about to be the worst 3 months of your life.

A/n: I apologize that this was so long. ANYWAY
