AUTHOR'S POV:
One year had passed since Eren and Mikasa's engagement.
And a lot of things happened during that time.

Just after a week of their engagement, they built a cabin near the tree on that hill with the help of some construction workers.
.
It was a two bedroom cabin house.
There was a small farm land at their backyard.
Everything was prepared within one month.
After two months, Eren and Mikasa took early retirement from the Survey Corps with the permission of Zachary as Eren had full control of the Founding Titan.
.
They were given a farewell party by the Survey corps too.
After the farewell party, the two of them along with Armin and Faye went to the ocean where Armin proposed to Faye with a diamond ring from Middle-East which was brought by Reiner.
And ofcourse, Faye said yes.
After the farewell party, Eren and Mikasa left thier Survey Corps house and started living at the cabin.

Mikasa would grow vegetables in their backyard while Eren would hunt and catch fish sometimes from the nearby river.
With all of these, both of them forgot to discuss about their marriage.

Currently, the engaged couple were sitting under the tree, hugging eachother while looking at the sunset.
After the sun was fully hidden behind the mountain, Mikasa turned to Eren.
"Hey Ereh." Mikasa called out.
Eren looked at her. "Yeah, Mika?"
"We haven't talked about our marriage. Have we?" Mikasa said and smiled.
Eren let out a chuckle. "Right. One year had passed but we never talked about it..."
"We were so busy setting up our home." Mikasa said. "So, it's understandable."
"Yeah." Eren said. "So, when do you suggest we get married?"
"How about next year during winter?" Mikasa suggested.
"That's sound great." Eren said and smiled.
Silence fell upon them as they didn't know what to say.
Then Mikasa realised something.
"Eren? Mikasa called out.
"Hmm?" Eren said.
"You don't have any suggestions?" Mikasa asked.
"I find your idea great though." Eren replied.
Mikasa sat straight and furrowed his eyebrows. "Eren. I have been noticing that you never make any decisions."
"Huh?" Eren said.
"I mean, it's my idea to live here and you agreed with it without saying anything." Mikasa said. "You even left Survey Corps for of me. And now, you aren't even suggesting anything. Why?"
Eren looked ahead. "Well, I just want you to be happy. I want to give you all the things that Founder Eren was unable to give to his Mikasa." He looked at her. "You deserve all of these after what you have done for me, Mikasa. You have suffered enough already for my s-"
"Eren!" Mikasa sternly said. "Stop blaming youself for that. I joined the Survey Corps because I wanted to-"
"Protect me, Armin and Faye?" Eren asked, cutting her off.
Mikasa's eyes widened a bit and she looked down.
"Mikasa... I know very well why you joined the Survey Corps." Eren said. "You always put my life before yours. So, this is the least I can do."
Mikasa looked up at him. "Then what about your happiness?"
Eren pecked her scar and smiled. "I am happy just being by your side."
Mikasa smiled and hugged him tightly. "Oh Eren."
Eren hugged her back. "How about we marry the day we met?"
Mikasa looked up at him and smiled. "Great idea." She nuzzled her face in Eren's chest. "I don't want a big wedding by the way."
Eren put her head on Mikasa's head. "Yeah. A cold winter night wedding."

One and a half year had passed and winter came around quickly.
.
It was the wedding night of Eren and Mikasa which was held near their cabin, under the tree.
The pathway down the aisle was a gorgeous red carpet.
The surroundings was decorated with torches and flowers.
The whole area was filled with a lot of guests.
Kiyomi, Reiner, Annie, Pieck, Falco, Gabi, Udo, Zofia, Yelena, Zeke, Onyankopon, Niccolo, Eren's grandparents, Marco, Hitch, Pixis and a large part of the Survey Corps were present there.

Under the tree, in front of the wedding officiant, there stood Eren, wearing a tuxedo, patiently waiting for Mikasa to walk down the aisle.
Armin was standing by the archway next to Eren, being his best man.
Armin turned to Eren with a smile. "Eren, Are you nervous?"
"To be honest, a bit." Eren replied.
"Really?" Armin asked and chuckled.
"Yeah. I mean it's something I never imagined would happen. So..." Eren said and chuckled awkwardly.
"That's understandable." Armin said.
After some moments, the wedding music started playing and the guests stood up.

Eren looked ahead and smiled brightly at the sight.

Mr. Ackerman was walking Mikasa, who was holding a bouquet, down the isle, arm in arm.
Before them, the flower girl and the ring bearer, Louise walked, holding a pillow with two rings on it.

Armin smiled brightly. "Now you're getting married to her for real, Eren!"
Eren didn't say anything as he was so excited and nervous.
Then, both of them made eye contact and blushed deeply and smiled.
When Mr. Ackerman and Mikasa finally reached Eren, Mr. Ackerman placed Mikasa's hand into Eren's and lifted her veil.
Mikasa gave the bouquet to Sasha, her maid of honor and took Eren's hands, as they faced each other, both blushing and smiling.
Eren leaned into Mikasa's ear. "You look gorgeous, Mika."
Mikasa blushed and smiled.
The marriage officiant started talking while Eren and Mikasa just stared at eachother.
A few people went there to give a small speech.
Then it was their turn to exchange vows.
Eren took a deep breath and looked at Mikasa. "I still remember that day we met, Mika. It wasn't a very pleasant meeting though. But still, it was a memorable one. When I wrapped my scarf around you, I already knew that you're someone special. You've done a lot of things for me. You sacrificed your childhood just to protect me and I was dumb enough to not understand your obvious love for me. "

Some guests chuckled a bit.

"But now, I want to give you all happiness you wanted." Eren said. "All happiness you deserve. All the happiness that you had to leave behind for me. Now that I have fixed everything, the only thing I want now is to be by your side, forever."
Tears started to roll down Mikasa's face.
"So now, I vow to love you without reservations or conditions, I vow to be the best version of myself and love you through sickness and health." Eren said. "I vow to always be there for you in your time of need and I vow to be the best husband I can be for you." He then gently wiped her tears. "And also, I vow to wrap your scarf around you as many times as you want."

The guests awed at his words.

Mikasa smiled brightly. "How could I forget the day we met. Me getting kidnaped and you saving me. You risked your life for me, for someone you didn't even know before. When you wrapped your scarf around me, I felt so much protected. So much loved. If you think because of you, my childhood is ruined then you're wrong. You're the one who gave my life a reason. You're the one who taught me how to live. Without you, I don't know what would have happened to me that day." More tears rolled down her face. "It's because of you, Ereh. Because of you, I became strong. And now, my only wish is to stay by your side, forever."
Tears of happiness rolled down Eren's face but his smile never go away.
"I vow to always be by your side." Mikasa said. "I vow to love you through health and sickness, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer and I vow to be the best wife I can be for you."
"Now you may exchange rings." The marriage officiant announced with a smile.
Eren took his ring and placed it on Mikasa's finger. "Mika, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity."
Mikasa took her ring and placed it on Eren's finger. "Ereh, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity."
"I now pronounce you both, husband and wife." The marriage officiant said. "You may kiss the bride now."
Both Eren and Mikasa blushed a bit.
Eren gently grabbed Mikasa's waist and brought her closer while Mikasa put her hands on Eren's neck.
After a moment of staring at eachother, they leaned forward and kissed.

All of the guest stood up and cheered.
.
Faye wiped her tears of happiness while smiling brightly. "Now I can die in peace..."
.
Mrs. Ackerman wiped her tears of happiness while Mr. Ackerman hugged her, smiling.
.
"Awww! They look so cute!" Hitch exclaimed and turned to Marlo. "Isn't that right, Marlo?"
"Yeah." Marlo said with a smile.
.
Pieck put her hands on Gabi and Falco's shoulder with a smile. "One day, those will be you two." She smirked.
Gabi and Falco looked at eachother, blushing.
Reiner, Udo and Zofia chuckled at their reaction.

Zeke smiled at Eren and Mikasa.
.
"They looked so adorable!" Hange said with a big smile and nudged Levi. "Isn't that right, shorty?"
"Yeah." Levi said and smiled a bit. "That gloomy brat and suicidal idiot got married today."
.
Sasha wiped her tears of happiness while munching on a steamed potato.
.
After breaking the kiss, Eren and Mikasa faced the crowd with smiles on their faces.
Suddenly, every Eldians teleported to the Paths.
A lot of them had the expression of horror as they looked around for a bit.
.
"HEAR ME, SUBJECTS OF YMIR." A voice from the coordinates said.
.
Eren and Mikasa were standing before the Coordinates with a smile.
.
"I AM FOUNDER EREN, THE ONE WHO HAD REPLACED YMIR FRITZ 2000 YEARS AGO."
.
Eldians from Marley stood on the left side of the coordinates with a frightened expression.
Some of them were on their knees.
.
"ALL OF US ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE BLOODSHED THAT TITANS HAVE CAUSED FOR MORE THAN 2000 YEARS."
.
Eldians of Paradise stood at the right side with a surprised expression.
.
"EVERYONE HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH. THAT'S WHY, FROM TONIGHT, THIS CURSE OF TITANS WILL BE VANISHED FROM THIS WORLD."
.
Some of them gasped.
.
"HOWEVER, IF PARADISE WILL EVER GET THREATENED WITH WAR, THEN THE MILLIONS OF WALL TITANS WHICH ARE KEPT AT THE OCEAN FLOOR WILL RISE AND BEGIN THEIR MARCH UNTIL ALL LIVES EXISTING OUTSIDE OF PARADISE WILL BE EXTERMINATED FROM THIS WORLD."

After the declaration, all Eldians teleported back to the real world.
They still had shocked expression on their faces.
They started discussing between them.

Faye and Armin approached Eren and Mikasa.
"My brother got married to my childhood bestfriend." Faye said, standing beside them, smiling. "Now I can die in peace."
"No. You can't die until I walk you down the aisle." Eren said with a smile.
"Yeah yeah." Faye said and rolled her eyes.
.
Hange's expression changed to sad.
Levi noticed it. "Hey four-eyes. Are you sad because Founder Eren is getting rid of titan powers?"
Hange turned to him. "Yeah. I'll miss flying above cloud in my titan form and conducting experiments on titans." She chuckled. "Other than that, I'm happy too."
.
Founder Eren watched as the Coordinates was slowly fading away.
He still had a expression of uncertainty on his face.
Then he let out a sigh and looked down.
"Eren..." A voice called out from behind, after a moment.
Founder Eren turned around and faced her. "Mikasa..."
Founder Mikasa smiled and walked up to him. "You're still afraid of not finding her. Right?"
"Yeah..." Founder Eren.
"Eren, have faith in me." Founder Mikasa said. "I'll make sure you find her."
Founder Eren nodded, still uncertain.
Founder Mikasa gently put her hand on Founder Eren's face and smiled. "Face your fears, Eren Yeager."
Founder Eren put his hand on Mikasa's and smiled.

Suddenly, steam began to emit from the old and current Titan shifter's body, covering the whole place, leaving everyone confused.
.
Hange looked at her hands in confusion. "So, the titan powers are leaving now."
But something unexpected happened.
.
Eren, Mikasa, Faye and Armin gasped as Carla and Grisha appeared before them from the stream, waving at them while giving them a closed eyed smile.
"Mom..." Faye trailed off with a surprised expression.
"Dad..." Eren said.
Soon, their shocked expression turned to a smile.
From behind Grisha, Hannes appeared, still looking drunk, grinning at them.
"Hannes-san!" Mikasa exclaimed with a smile.
Armin's grandfather appeared from beside Armin.
"Grandpa..." Armin trailed off with a smile.
His grandfather smiled.

Bertolt and Marcel appeared in front of Reiner and Annie.
"Bertolt..." Reiner trailed off with wide eyes.
"Marcel..." Annie trailed off.
Both Bertolt and Marcel waved at them while smiling.
.
Porco appeared before Pieck and Gabi, making them gasp.
"Pocco..." Pieck trailed off.
"Mr. Galliard..." Gabi said.
Porco smiled at them.
.
Colt appeared before Falco.
"Colt..." Falco said and smiled.
Colt smiled back and waved at him.
.
Isabel and Farlan appeared before Levi, making his eyes wide in surprise.
"You guys..." Levi said and smiled.
Isabel and Farlan smiled at him too.
Then Kuchel and Kenny appeared.
Levi's eye's widened at the sight of his mother. "Mom..."
Kuchel smiled while Kenny grinned at him, straighting up his hat.

Before Hange, the human version of Bean and Sony appeared.
Hange gapsed. "Eh?" Her eyes widened at the realisation. "Bean? Sony?"
Bean and Sonny nodded and smiled at her.

Tom Ksavar appeared before Zeke.
Zeke smiled. "Mr. Ksaver..."
Tom smiled at him.
Then, Dina appeared before him, making Zeke gasp.
"Mom..." Zeke trailed off.
Dina softly smiled at him.
.
Before Historia, Ymir appeared.
Historia gasped. "Ymir..."
Ymir smirked at her.
Then Frieda appeared before her with a smile.
Historia smiled brightly. "Frieda..."

Before Erwin, his father appeared.
Erwin smiled at him. "Dad... You were always right with your theory."
His dad smiled.
Before Hange, Levi and Erwin, thier fallen comrades appeared.
Out of respect, the three of them saluted them.
The fallen soilders saluted back at them.
.
All others saw their fallen comrades and dead relatives.
All of them smiled and waved back at them.
After some moments, the steam began to disappear, along with the fallen comrades.
All of the guests had tears in their eyes.
.
Tears rolled down Faye's face as she waved at Carla and Grisha. "Bye Mom! Bye Dad!"
Carla and Grisha smiled one more time and disappeared.
.
Soon the steam cleared, revealing Founder Eren in the middle.
Eren and Mikasa made their way towards him.
Once before him, Eren smiled. "It's time you fulfill your promise, Eren Yeager."
"You did great, Eren." Mikasa said with a smile. "We're so thankful to you."
"Now, you are free." Eren said.
"No. I'm not." Founder Eren said.
"Huh?" Eren said in confusion.
"The real freedom for me would have been to be with my Mikasa." Founder Eren said.
Mikasa's expression changed to worry.
Founder Eren looked up at the night sky. "But I believe I'll find my true freedom soon." He looked at them and smiled. "May be in my next life."
Mikasa and Eren smiled at his words.
Founder Eren closed his eyes and his body began to glow.
Then it turned into green glowing particles.

Everyone were looking at the sight with amazement.
.
Then the particles went up to the night sky and a star twinkled.
.
Founder Mikasa watched the event, leaning on the tree with a smile. "The boy who helped his another version to get freedom, goodbye." Then she left for her own universe.
.
Mikasa and Eren then looked back at eachother with smiles.
Soon, they leaned forward and kissed while everyone were cheering, celebrating the end of titan era.

The wedding night ended with reception and lots of celebration as that was the end of titan era.
.

Two months and a week had passed since that day.
The newly married couple were sitting on a bench outside of their cabin, looking at the sunset, holding eachother.
"Hey Eren." Mikasa said.
"Hmm?" Eren said.
"What do you think happened to Founder Eren?" Mikasa asked and sat up straight.
Eren looked at her. "Who knows..." He looked back at the sun set. "I just hope he gets to meet his Mikasa somehow..."
"Hmm..." Mikasa said.
Eren smiled sadly. "You know, this is what Founder Eren showed to his Mikasa in his last moments."
Mikasa looked up at him with a saddened expression. "Our current living situation?"
"Yeah..." Eren said. "That vision was painful to see." He closed his eyes. "His Mikasa's 'See you later, Eren' is the most depressing thing I've ever heard to be honest..." He shook his head. "I can never imagine you saying that to me..."
Mikasa hugged him tightly and buried her face in his neck. "I won't ever say that to you, Eren."
Eren hugged her back. "Oh Mikasa. I can't imagine my life without you."
Mikasa smiled. "Me too."
"Do you think they should have abandoned everything and run away that day?" Eren asked, still hugging Mikasa.
"That's something I can't answer." Mikasa said, after a moment of thinking. Then she hugged Eren tightly. "But I am glad we didn't have to go through that."
"Yeah..." Eren said. "Talking about Founder Eren, he was right about not being free."
"Huh?" Mikasa said, curious.
"Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted freedom but I never realised that my true freedom is to stay by your side." Eren said.
Mikasa blushed a bit. "You're my freedom too."
Eren pulled away a bit and kissed her forehead. "Let's stay like this and rest today."
Mikasa put her head on Eren's chest, listening to his heartbeat. "Yeah." Then she closed her eyes.
After a moment of thinking, Eren remembered something.
"You don't have your Ackerman strength anymore. Do you?" Eren asked.
"Yeah but I'm still stronger than you." Mikasa said and giggled.
Eren smiled. "Now that's something I can't argue against."
Then Mikasa remembered something and sat up straight. Then she gently grabbed Eren's face, making him look at her.
Eren smiled and put his hand on her's.
Mikasa smiled. "Eren. I have a surprise for you."
"What is it, Mika?" Eren asked, curious.
Mikasa grabbed Eren's hand and guided it towards her stomach.
Eren remained confused.
Then Mikasa placed the palm of his hand over her stomach and looked right into his eyes, smiling.
Eren's eyes widened in realisation. "Mika... You're..."
"Yeah Eren. I'm pregnant." Mikasa said and caressed his cheeks.
Suddenly, Eren brought Mikasa into a tight embrace. "Oh Mikasa. You don't know how happy I am right now." Tears of happiness rolled down his face as Mikasa hugged him back. "We're going to be parents!"
"I bet you'll be an overprotective dad." Mikasa said and chuckled.
"I bet you'll be the most caring mother ever." Eren said and wiped his tears.
Both of them pulled back a bit and just starred at eachother.
After a moment, they leaned forward and kissed.
'A family with Eren...'
