AKI: "Yeah. It'd be fun if we could hold a live show or something by campfire light."
SETSUNA: "I love that idea! We should make sure to put in a long campfire scene in that case."

SHIZUKU: "It looks so magnificent to have this many people doing our dance."

KANATA: "And the movements match perfectly!"

AKI: "These clips are different to the ones we received at first. What's going on here?

RINA: "I was asked to replace some of the footage..."
AKI: "Replace?"
RINA: "They said if they're starring in this video as representatives of Nijigasaki, they'd rather try to dance like school idols even...if they can't fully manage it."
AI: "What? You mean by that even after submitting their videos they kept on practicing the dance?!
Woooow! That's fantastic!"
KASUMI: "That's how serious they were about doing this, huh. I guess it's a good thing that we went through the dance with them so many times!"
AKI: "Why are they giving up on their practice time?"
Are they trying to upstage us and turn this into their own promo video?
Using our opportunity to their own advantage.
RIO: "Sorry, can I talk to you guys for a moment?"
LANZHU: "Hm? What's the matter?"
RIO: "It's about the Basketball Club's dance portion for the promo video. I'd like you to replace our part with this."
AKI: "...Huh? Again?"
RIO: "Everyone wanted to know if we couldn't get just a tiny bit better at the dance. Will you take a look?"
AKI: "Fine, roll the tape."
KASUMI: "Huuuh?! Th-This dancing..."
MIA: "It's excellent!"
KANATA: "You guys got so good!"
EMMA: "We'll have to raise our own dancing standards even more, apparently!"
SETSUNA: "Yes, we can't let the School Idol Club fall behind the other clubs at our school!"

What is she talking about? They're the ones who are school idols here, why should they be worried about this?
Sure, the Basketball Club has some rhythm, but the Clubs and Council are working harder on school idol activities than their actual Club activities.
Almost as if they're trying to become the school idol stars of this video, leaving us in the dust.

I understand trying to take a perfectionist's approach, because I severely doubt that the other Clubs want to embarrass themselves.
But if we keep on replacing the footage we'll never get the promo video finished.
It's a wild theory, and probably just my head playing tricks on me again. But I don't think that this footage is the only thing they're trying to replace in this video.
