Daily Bible Verse 6th August 2022
Today, we are reading Deuteronomy 13:4
It is the Lord, your God, you must follow, and Him you must revere. Keep His commands and obey Him, serve Him and hold fast to Him.
God put rules and commands for us to obey. If we simply disobey these, then we are disobeying the Lord. It's like breaking the law, but with a much higher power. With God who has power over the entire universe. Serve your God because He has given you so much and deserves to be praised and worship in return. Don't turn to worldly desires or idols but only follow and worship The Lord, our God. Amen!
