The next morning we were both off to Cobra Kai and were going to show everyone the style of Miyagi-Do. We knew that this would be a long class, as the way Miyagi-Do works is all back the angles and procession. We just needed to get the basics into everyone and then we would be unstoppable.
We both pulled up to the dojo earlier. Once we got in we said hello to my grandfather who was just chilling and looked to be setting some things up. Robby and i went to the back to go change into our gi's. It was still a shock to me that he jumped ships and joined us. There was other places that he could always go but he chose here.
Once everyone had come to the dojo and was set and ready we started the class. "There is a reason that Miyagi-Do is so hard to learn. These blocks are incredibly precise." Robby explained as we walked down the rows to look at everyone. "Each one is designed to over come a specific attack."
Everyone continues there movements away we make minor changes to make the blocks more affective. "Show me wax on, wax off." Robby says as he stops in front of Tory. They both get into position, and Robby starts to throw his punches. Tory used the new fighting style to block it. "The more you learn Miyagi-Do, the tougher you are to defeat."
Weigh that everyone goes back to work until my grandfather comes out of his hiding. "Except one tiny flaw. Their entire fighting style is all about reaction, that means that all of there moves are counter moves." My grandpa explains and ever one nods along with him.
"That means that w have countless over the game. That also means that we can set traps and other little tricks." I explain to them and a hidden smile finds its way to Robby's face. He then turns back to Tory.
"Show me paint the fence." They get into position. Robby starts to grow his punch's that Tory blocks but out of nowhere e sweeps her legs out causing her to fall on her ass. Robby looks down a her. "Sorry, just part of the lesson." He offers a hand to Tory.
Tory didn't take that lightly. She grabs his hand and throws him over her shoulder causing Robby to land in a starfish. Tory got on top of him and got ready to punch him. My grandpa was less than happy.
"Nicklos, my office. Now" he calls out and Tory gets up off of Robby and i offer him my hand and pull him up. "Keene and Rose, continue the lesson."
I glance at Tory here and there as she sits in my grandpas office. The lesson continues and most people seem to be getting it that makes our job easier to teach them. Tory then comes out of the office and goes back to her spot. I look over at her and she nods at me tel me she will tell me later.
An hour later the class was over and Tory and i went to the back room to change out of the gi's. "What happened in there today?" I asked her. "Is everything okay?"
She nodded. "I just lost my job today because of LaRusso. She came to my work place telling me stay away from her daughter but the thing is I haven't touched her in forever. More like a month but that's besides that point. The point is that she showed up to my workplace to threaten me and then got me fired." Tory said and I was shocked.
I knew that eh LaRusso's were bitchs but that didnt give them the right to do any of this. First off Samantha started this and we finished it. Secondly Tory was just minding her life but no she can't do that with out having some one intrude on that. Pulled Tory into a hug trying to calm her down.
"My parents have a couple jobs openings right now. My mom is looking for a new assistant and my dad has a couple jobs that just require you to stand there and tell people if he is in a meaning, his receptionist. I can talk to the about getting you a job at one of the places." I explain her.
She shakes her head at me. "You dont have to do that for me. I will find one and if i dont find one in a week or so then i will talk to you about getting a job to work or you parents." Tory told me and I nodded at her words. "Thank you for everything that you have done for me. You are the best."
I laugh slightly. "This is what i sighed up for when i became your best friend." She nods.
Once we were done in the change room we both walked out, i had my arm resting around her shoulder and we were laughing at something I said earlier. We said our good byes and then i walked off to go see Robby.
"Hey, i have to go with my grandpa to go grab some food because we are running low at home. Can yo take my car back to the house and i will be back in a 20 ish minutes." I explain to Robby and he nods. "Thank you, you are the best."
He laughs and gives mea quick kiss and then i walk to my grandpa who is already by his truck. "You ready to go?" He asks and i nod.
"So, how was that visit with that friend of yours?" I ask him and he shrugs. "It doesn't seem to go as you planned. I mean I haven't seen him."
"Well, he should be coming in the next couple of days." Grandpa Kreese explains. "That is if i did everything right."
I wasn't quite sure what that met but before i could ask anymore questions we pulled up into the market. Once i got out of the car we started walking in.
"I have to get some dog treats, we're running out." I said walking into a market with my grandpa making him nod as he walked the other way.
"Butterfingers, huh?" My grandpa asked holding a cheese in his hands while looking at Amanda with a smirk on his face.
"What are you doing here?" She asked as he put the cheese back.
"Well, it's Honeycrisp season." He said pointing at apples. "This store has the best produce in the Valley." He said taking an Apple in his hand.
"Don't you need to be a legally-mandated distance away from me?" She asked him.
"Other way around. Technically, you're the one in violation." He said making Amanda take a step toward him.
"I know about the deal you struck with my husband and Johnny, and I just want you to know that whatever happens at that tournament, I will make sure you lose." She said walking away.
"Is that why you're sabotaging my friend?" I asked making her turn around.
"I wasn't trying to get Tory fired. But that girl's asking for trouble. She broke into my house. Attacked my daughter. Sam's gonna have scars for the rest of her life." She said.
"I respect you defending your daughter. I think that's what all mothers should do. Unfortunately, Tory doesn't have a mother. Or one that's healthy enough to defend her. That girl has to pay the bills. Put food on the table. All by herself." Grandpa John said making Amanda look around.
"I didn't know that." She said in defense.
"Well, now you know. So you might want to leave the girl alone. Or deal with the consequences." Grandpa said as a man walked toward her.
"Mrs. LaRusso. Found that Gouda. Last one too. Must be your lucky day." He said with a sweet smile.
"Oh, thank you." Amanda thanked him and turned back to look at the two of us.
"Remember, not all kids are as lucky as yours," I say to her as he took a bite out of an Apple.
After that i grabbed the things that were in my cart and took them to the register and started to pay for them. I got some more food for daisy and a couple of treats. Once we were done grandpa. And i carried everything to the car.
He dropped me off at my house and said that he had somethings to take care off. I called Robby and told him that I needed help bring some things in. Daisy came running down the stairs to come greet me or more to smell the food and her treats. Once Robby and I put everything away i picked up little daisy and kissed her head.
"She hasn't given yo any trouble has she?" I asked Robby as i placed her onto the floor again so she could run around.
He laughed. "No,, she has been really good. She is decently a friendly dog." Robby explains and i nod knowing that daisy will attack anyone that she doesn't like.
Later that night i had planned to take daisy on a walk later in the night as i knew that it would be more relaxing then having multiple people around us at night. I also just didnt feel like having multiple people asking if they could pet my dog.
I was walking at night through the park trying to clear my mind when I heard some laughing making me turn around. Daisy and i started making or way over to were the noise was coming from.
"I wasn't trying to break it. You guys were being assholes." Some kid with a weird costume said.
"What did you just call us?" A boy with blonde curly hair asked stepping toward making me take a step toward them. One of them hold him in his arms as another kicked him in the stomach and in the back making him fall to the ground.
"Pick him up." The blonde said as others picked him up from the ground.
"All right, LaRusso. Let's see your moves." He said making me stop walking.
"LaRusso?" I whispered as a smirk came to my face. Well, this night just came up a little better.
"Yeah! Bust out some of that Miyagi shit." The other said.
"Come on, LaPusso!" They said making him look at them.
"Don't call me that." He said angrily.
"Then hit him!"
"Come on" one of the boys said as Larusso raised his wrists up.
I turned to Daisy and told her to stay and she sat down. "I will be back soon, okay?" I knew dogs couldn't talk but i still tried. I walked out of the bushes. "Hey, LaRusso!" I yelled making them stop and turn to look at me.
"What do you want girl?" The blonde asked making me smile.
"Let him go" I said walking toward him.
"And what if we don't" LaRusso asked making me turn to look at him.
" I don't know, you should ask your sister" I said with a smirk.
"How do you know Sam?" He asked.
"It's sad that she didn't talk about me. Well let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm y/n, Y/n Rose." I said raising my hand up.
"So you're.." he asked pointing at me.
"Yeah, that's me, for now I ask gental. Let him go" I said dropping the smile.
"Let him go" Larusso said to his friends.
"What?" The blonde asked confused.
"Let him go" He yelled making them scoff and let him go. The boys then started to run away and i scoffed at them. I wasnt going to do anything. I whistled and Daisy came out of the bush.
"You okay?" I asked the boy making him look up at me as i helped him up.
"Yeah, thank you." He said making me smile at him.
"What's your name" I asked him while helping him stand up.
"Kenny" He answered.
"Nice to meet you, Kenny I'm y/n and this is daisy." I said shaking his hand. "Can can walk you home if you would like?" He nods. "Okay, lead the way."
We start walking down the side of the road Daisy following along. "Why do you help me?" He asked.
"Because no one should have to go through that. I had a friend they get bullied really badly to were they changed everything about the self until they were a different person." I explain to him. "No matter how much you get bullied, don't change, okay?"
Kenny nodded and we stopped at a house. "This is it. Thank you."
"No problem, can I see your phone fr a minute." He nods and hands it to me. I type my number into it. "This is my number call if you need anything and if you ever need to get pulled out off anything just ask." Kenny nods and then goes inside.
I start to walk back to my house and as soon as I am inside I sneak up stairs not to disturb anyone and see a sleeping Robby on my bed. I laugh softly and change quickly and clime into bed with him.
