"Open your mouth, baby." he chuckled.
"Ah." I said as I opened my mouth widely. "Baliw ka talaga!" hinampas ko siya ng hindi naman niya isinubo sa akin ang popcorn.
"Ewan ko sayo." umalis ako sa pagkakadikit namin at pumunta sa kabilang pwesto, kunwari ay nagtatampo. I even crossed my arms and pouted.
We're in his room, cuddling while watching a movie.
It's dark, patay lahat ng ilaw at nakasarado ang kurtina. The only light we received was from his big screen.
"Come here, lalamigin ka. You need my warmth." paglalambing niya.
"Hmp." ani ko at dahan dahang bumalik sa tabi niya. We were wearing matching pajamas. Gusto ko sana mag silk robe kaya lang napaka lamig dito.
Well, pwede naman naming painitin ang gabi.
I put my head on his chest. Ang kanyang kamay ay nakaikot sa akin. "This is warm right?"
"Hmm." I said. I closed my eyes and felt his heartbeat.
"You're not watching, mahal." he tickled me.
"Hindi ka rin naman nanonood. Kanina ka pa nakatitig sa akin kaya, akala mo hindi ko napapansin." pang aasar ko.
"I like watching you more than this movie." aniya at hinaplos ng dalisay ang aking mukha.
"Ganon ako kaganda."
"Yeah, you're that beautiful." hinampas ko siya at ipinatong ang buong katawan sa kanya. I cupped his lovely face.
"I love you, Kai."
"Damn!" his face blushes. Kahit malamig ay naramdaman ko ang pag init nito. "You know when to say those words."
Tinagilid ko ang ulo ko at isinubsob ito sa kanyang leeg. Ipinagsaklop naman niya ang dalawang kamay sa aking bewang.
"I love you more, Roshan." inayos niya ang buhok ko. He cupped my face using his warm hands. "Damn, I'm whipped." he cursed.
"You better be." I laughed as I clung to him more.
Ganito kami palagi. Para na ngang dito ako nakatira sa condo niya dahil hindi na ako umuuwi sa apartment ko.
But it's fine. Everytime I am with him, parang wala na akong iisipin pa. He's my home now. I can't wait until the day na mag sasama na nga kaming dalawa. That we'll be official with each other.
"How's work?" he now manages their company in Spain, kaya lang ay based na siya dito sa Pilipinas.
"Tiring. Some investors backed out from the deal, they wanted to meet me in person but I refused." he said as he played with the strands of my hair.
"So you better go there? I mean....that's how it works right? How can they trust you if you can't even face them?"
"Then that means I'll leave you here? No way. I can find other investors." patuloy niyang sinusuklay ang aking buhok.
"Ilang araw lang naman siguro yun."
"If you'll come with me then I'll go." he said huskily.
"I have work here." ngumuso ako.
"Then no."
"But...we can schedule that. Hmm. We can take this as a vacation. Isa pa, hindi pa ako nakakapunta sa Spain. Ano deal?" tumayo ako sa excitement. "We can travel abroad, let's go mahal."
"You sure?"
"Yup. I wanna see the place you grew up in. Tour me around." I squish his cheeks. I'm really excited.
"Ask for a leave, and I'll arrange everything." I screamed when he agreed.
Can't wait for my Spain trip with him! This will be exciting.
Kinaumagahan ay balik normal na kami, I had to go to work and he has some errands to do. He already booked us a ticket for next month. He also scheduled his meeting with the investors.
"Gaga, sana all diba?" tili ni Tris.
"Yayain mo na si Elios kasi. He's from Spain too, right?" saad ko sa kabilang linya.
"We already toured Spain. Balak namin sa Korea next."
"Maka sana all ka naman eh nakapunta ka na pala." banat naman ni Kelly.
Natawa na lang ako sa kanilang dalawa.
"Yayain mo na lang yung boyfie mo dun Kelly." tinakpan ko agad ang bibig ng may napagtanto. "Oh, I'm sorry babes."
"It's fine." mahina niyang saad.
"Okay, next topic na. Let's stop talking about boys." bigla namang pumalakpak si Tris kaya't nagbago na ang usapin.
Our call lasted for 3 hours. Grabe, ang dami ring chika ng dalawang iyon.
I miss them. Palagi ko silang na mi-miss kahit araw araw ko naman silang nakakausap. At sa isang linggo pa nga ay mag overnight kami sa apartment ko.
I'm so blessed to have them as my constants. Ang tagal na rin ng friendship namin and I am very happy that we've come this far, it all worked out well in the end. Ang dami na rin naming pinagdaanan, lalo na kami ni Kelly.
"You done?" I heard Kai at the back.
"Yup. Flowers na lang for later." saad ko habang tinatapos ang pagbabalot ng cake. For sure, Neytiri would love this.
It's Sunday today, and that means we have to visit Neytiri.
I baked her a cake. Hobby ko na ata ang pag bi-bake. Noong nakaraang araw ay cookies naman ang ginawa ko. I also made some bread, at yun minsan ang ipina pabaon ko kay Kai. And he loved it.
Bago tumungo sa sementeryo ay bumili muna kami ng bulaklak.
Kai wants us to hold hands, pero hindi pwede dahil hawak hawak niya nag cake at ako naman sa bulaklak. Oh, this clingy man.
Pagkarating namin malapit sa libingan ng anak ay may natanaw akong lalaking nakatayo sa harapan nito.
I frowned as I checked the man. He's holding a teddy bear.
Nagpatuloy kami ni Kai sa paglalakad. Nang makalapit ay agad kong nakilala ito dahil sa tikas at hubog ng katawan.
"Aiden." tawag ko. Nanlaki ang mata niya ng makita kami sa likuran.
I smiled. "Hey, it's been a while."
He gulped before saying a word. "Roshan...Mr. Cueves." he bowed slightly.
"Nice to see you, Mr. Salvatore." Kai uttered.
"Kumusta ka na? You brought Neytiri a teddy bear pala, for sure she'll love it."
"I'm doing well. Good to see you two here. Uhm..I got to go. Sorry...uhh..for visiting." akma siyang aalis.
"Hey, no. Of course you can visit." ani ko.
Tumango naman ito. He smiled awkwardly. "Thank you Roshan."
"She's your daughter too, you can visit her anytime you want." nanlaki ang mata ni Aiden sa sinabi ni Kai.
"Yup, that's true." pagsang ayon ko.
Aiden chuckled. "Well, thank you."
"Hey, Aiden. Can we talk?" tanong ko. I looked at Kai, he just nodded.
"Sure, Roshan."
Iniwan muna namin si Kai sa puntod ni Neytiri.
"Kumusta? I'm so glad to see you, Aiden." panimula ko. Hindi naman kalayuan ang pwesto namin, tanaw ko pa rin si Kai na nakaupo sa damuhan.
"Maayos naman. I'm still studying, you know..doctors don't stop learning." impit siyang ngumiti.
"That's good. I hope you have your own clinic soon. Fighting, Doctor Salvatore." I smiled.
Yumuko siya. "Roshan...."
"Hmm?"
"I'm sorry." he trailed off. "Last time we met...."
"That's fine. No worries, Aiden."
"You haven't changed, have you? Still forgiving as ever." he smiled, this time I know it's real...and pure.
"You too, still humble and understanding." I chuckled.
"Well...." we laughed.
"I hope we can forgive each other, from everything." nanligid ang luha sa aking mata. Those times I spent with him are one of the most cherished days of my life. Sobrang swerte ko rin na makatagpo ng katulad niya.
"I forgave you, Roshan. Actually, I never hated you. I was hurt but it's fine. Ako naman ang nagmahal. Hindi mo naman ginusto na hindi ako ang pinili ng puso mo.
"Thank you for everything, Aiden. Sa lahat lahat ng ginawa at sakripisyo mo para sa akin, para kay Neytiri. Sorry kasi hindi ko na ibalik yung pagmamahal na deserve mo, but I hope, someday...you'll find someone who'll love and accepts you wholeheartedly." tumulo ang aking luha, I wiped it immediately.
Natulala siya na para bang may iniisip. I smiled, maybe he has a special someone now. I'm happy for him.
"Salamat din Roshan. You made me the happiest kahit sa maikling panahon. Wala akong pinagsisihan. Kahit sabihin nilang sayang kasi wala naman akong napala, pero hindi yun totoo. I became a father... a house husband-" he chuckled. "And a partner to you. I wouldn't trade that for anything else."
"Thank you for letting me experience the feeling of having a child." nabasag ang kanyang boses. "I will always treasure Neytiri. She may not be my flesh and blood but I love her...so much that it torments me that she's gone. Maybe in another life, she's happy with Jake Javier, her brother." nakita ko rin ang pagtulo ng kanyang luha.
Hindi ko na napigilan kaya't lumapit ako para yakapain siya.
He's hurt too. Noong nawala si Neytiri, I know part of him died that day too, like me. Siya ang nakasaksi ng lahat, simula una pa lang nandyan siya. Sa pagbubuntis ko, sa panganganak ko at sa pag aalaga dito.
"Thank you rin sa lahat lahat Aiden. Hindi ko alam kung saan ako pupulutin kung hindi ka dumating sa buhay ko." I cried more, he hugged me back.
A heavy feeling is now gone. The pieces are now complete, I can finally live at ease knowing that I made peace with everyone I hurt before.
"Go...to Kai. He must be waiting. Alam kong aalagaan ka at mamahalin ka niya ng higit pa sa hinihiling mo. You two deserve each other." bumitaw kami sa pagkakayakap, he wiped my tears.
Tumango ako. "Stay safe Aiden ha? Alagaan mo ng mabuti ang sarili mo. I hope you'll always be happy."
"I am happy. Thank you, Roshan. Ikaw rin, I wish you all the best."
We waved at each other. Hindi ako tumatalikod dahil hinihintay ko siyang umalis muna, but he let me leave first.
He watched me as I went to Kai, and I know this time, he is smiling. He's happy for the both of us.
"Pinakakawalan ko na ang pagmamahal ko sayo." sambit niya bago ako tuluyang makaalis.
Ngumiti ako at tumakbo papalapit sa mag ama ko.

"Cheers!" our glass clicked when we offered a toast.
Humilata kami sa sala ng apartment ko. Kelly and Tris will sleep here tonight.
"Ang hectic sa trabaho, nakakainis yung manager ko." reklamo ni Kelly.
"Babes, same! Ugh! I should've accepted Elios's offer to work at his company."
"Ewan ko sayo Tris, mag chu-chukakan lang kayo 24/7 pag doon ka nag trabaho." halakhak ko.
"Sus, inggit ka lang kasi wala ka pang dilig ng ilang taon. Grabe Roshan, I can't believe you'll last that long." ani ni Tris.
"Love shit."
"Eto naman Kelly, wag ka ng bitter. Hayaan mo at makakahanap ka rin ng lalaking para sayo." ibinaba ni Tris ang baso niya at inakbayan si Kelly.
"Balak ko na lang tumandang dalaga. Sakit sa ulo lang yang mga lalaki." sabay hilot niya sa sentido.
"Wala na ba talaga kayong pag asa? You both love each other, baka naman-" she cut me off.
"As if I'll accept him again, no way." kinuha niya ang isang bote ng alak at tinungga ito.
"Easy lang Kelly." dinaluhan ko siya para pigilan.
"I'm fine, love life lang naman yan. I've experienced the worst."
"Ang hirap talaga pag tumatanda na, life sucks." Tris laid down. Si Kelly naman ay humilig sa akin.
Natahimik kami ng ilang segundo. "At least we have each other. That's more important." pagbabasag ko sa katahimikan.
"Friends forever?" Kelly offered another toast.
"Friends forever." sigaw namin ni Tris.
We held each other tightly...then we laughed.
The world may throw us unfavorable circumstances, but we will always prevail. Hindi maiiwasan ang alitan pero alam kong sa huli, magkakaayos din kami...dahil laging nananaig ang pagmamahalan namin sa isa't isa.
"Cheers to our long lasting friendship!"
We stayed the night playing games and watching movies. Hindi naman kami masyadong nag lasing para makapag kwentuhan pa.
I can never ask for more. Kumpleto at buo na ang buhay ko, I am happy and contented.
Look my baby Neytiri, mommy is now happy.
Kinaumagahan ay sabay sabay kaming umalis, si Kelly at Tris para sa trabaho at ako naman para bisitahin si Kai.
I drove to his condo. Patay pa ang mga ilaw sa sala pagkarating ko, he's probably in his office.
Naglakad ako patungo doon, nakabukas ang pinto kaya sumilip muna ako.
"Yes baby, we can meet tomorrow." halos manghina ang tuhod ko sa narinig. Para akong babagsak sa kinatatayuan.
Who the hell is he talking to?
Hindi naman pwedeng si Sebastian kasi hindi naman niya tinatawag na baby ito. Ako lang naman ang tinatawag niyang baby. May iba pa ba?
"No, Roshan doesn't have any idea. Don't worry." he chuckled.
"Yes..yes..see you tomorrow. I can't wait to see what you prepared."
Sa galit ay tuluyan kong binuksan ang pintuan, nanliligid na ang aking mga luha.
Roshan, doesn't have any idea huh? Kailan niya pa ako niloloko?
"Walang hiya ka! I trusted you! Anong baby? Ang kapal kapal ng mukha mo." sigaw ko habang hinahampas siya ng bag ko.
Nanlaki ang mata niya ng makita ako. "Roshan- what..?"
"And you're shocked? Akala mo hindi ko narinig ang usapan niyo? At talagang magkikita kayo?" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Ang sakit ng puso ko, galit na galit ako. How dare he cheat on me? After everything, ganito na lang? Ang kapal niya!
"Roshan no..you..." he looks so worried, ginulo niya ang kanyang buhok at akmang yayakap sa akin.
"Get off me, you cheater." I slapped him, hard.
"You can't wait to see what she prepared?" I mocked him. "Talaga ba? Akala ko no sex before marriage ka. Eh bakit ka ng aahas ngayon?"
"You get it wrong...Roshan...listen please."
"Let's break up. Kung ayaw mo sa akin, edi wag. Kaya ka ba bumalik dahil naawa ka sakin? Stop, kung masaya ka sa bago mo, edi dun ka." pinahid ko ang luha ko. I tried to put on a facade. I'm strong.
Pero halos madurong ang puso ko, he's been cheating all this time?
"Mahal no." hinarangan niya ang pintuan. "Listen please, it's a misunderstanding. Wala akong babae. Mahal please." pagsusumamo niya, he looks scared and worried.
"Look...her name is Baby. That's her name, so I called her that. Wala akong iba, please." he held my face pero agad ko hinawi ang kanyang kamay.
"Liar."
"Look at her profile." nanginginig ang kanyang kamay habang may pipindot na kung ano sa cellphone, he showed me her profile and it showed Baby in the timeline.
"Sinungaling, hindi ako naniniwala. Eh bakit kayo magkikita? Eh ano yung wala akong idea?" singhal ko. "Anong tinatago mo sa akin? Diba sabi mo no more secrets? Ang kapal mo rin eh noh."
Natahimik siya. "Oh diba? Cheater ka! Tabi."
"No, mahal please. I'll explain everything to you...but..." he combed his hair.
"Pero ano? Stop the act, Kai. Huling huli ka na. Bakit hindi mo na lang aminin?" my tears fell again.
"Roshan..." malambing niyang tawag.
Why can't he explain himself? Bakit sila magkikita? Ano yung hindi ko alam?
"I trusted you...and now I regret it. I hate you." binitawan ko ang kamay niya at lumabas sa silid. Hinabol niya ako.
"I'll call her now. I'll explain everything to you. Mahal ko, listen muna please."
"Ano ba, bitaw!"
Nakita kong may pinindot siyang muli sa cellphone niya, it rang.
'Hello Zaccarius. Do you need anything else?' anito.
"Hello Baby. My girlfriend is here, she heard us talking earlier. She misunderstood something with me mentioning your name."
'Oh my. Sorry Ms. Davis. I'm Baby Velasquez, an event organizer. You must have misunderstood it when he called me Baby. That's my name." she chuckled. Kinuha ko kaagad ang cellphone ni Kai.
"Then why will you meet my boyfriend tomorrow? What did you prepare?" sigaw ko, I can't calm down.
'Uhh...Zaccarius, can I tell her?'
"You can." sagot ni Kai na inirapan ko.
'Ms. Davis, Zaccarius contacted me for an event. I'll meet him tomorrow for the details, and I'll show him my presentation for the things needed.'
"What event?" garalgal kong tanong.
'Uhm..I think he should be the one to tell you that. But rest assured that we were not in that kind of relationship. I am married and this is purely work related. Sorry for the inconvenience, Ms. Davis.'
Pinatay ko na ang tawag. I shifted my gaze to the man in front.
"Explain yourself." I crossed my arms.
"Mahal..." he tilted his head. "Well, I'm planning to...." kinamot niya ang kanyang ulo.
"Planning to what? Pwede ba direstsuhin mo na ako?" sigaw ko. Nabunutan na ng tinik ngunit galit pa rin.
"Okay.." he held my hand. Malamig ang kamay niya dahil din sa labis na kaba.
"I plan to propose....to you. And it happened that Ms. Velasquez is an expert in event planning. We're colleagues, so I call her using her first name. But, don't worry mahal, I won't call that again. I am very sorry."
Pro..pose?
"Huh?" hindi ko ma proseso ang narinig. He's what?
"Here's our texts and call logs. You can check it, wala kaming ibang pinag usapan other than the proposal."
Sumimangot ako. "Wala kang babae?"

Tumulo ang luha ko. "Sorry." I bowed slighting. "I trust you pero kasi yung narinig ko-"
Naramdaman ko ang pag hila niya sa akin. "No, that was nothing mahal ko. I am the one who should apologize, I shouldn't call anyone else baby. It's my fault, I'm sorry." yumakap ako pabalik, amoy ang halimuyak ng kanyang pabango.
"I understand now. Sorry if I misunderstood and thank you for explaining." giit ko, huminahon na. Dito ko pa lang din napagtanto ang sinabi niya.
He's going to propose? To me?
Is that real?
Binasa ko ang kanilang usapan. Shit, this is real.
The thought of Kai as my husband excites me.
"You're going to propose?" mahina kong tanong. "Nasira ko pa yung plan mo, sorry."
"I plan to surprise you...but yeah..it turns out this way." he chuckled. "But at least you're not angry at me."
"I'm not angry na." I pouted.
"Maybe I can do this some other time, can you forget about this? So you'll be surprised the next time." aniya sabay tawa.
"Baliw ka talaga!" ngumuso ako. "No need for an extravagant proposal. Hmm. You can even propose now. I'm ready." ngiti ko.
Saglit siyang natulala sa sinabi ko.
I laughed at his reaction. Akmang magsasalita na ngunit inunahan ko.
"Kai Zaccarius...." I looked at him, straight to his beautiful blue eyes. "I'll marry you. Let's spend the rest of our life together." I cupped his face and gave him my sweet kisses.
