Glynda POV
It's currently lunch time while I made my way to the teacher lounge. I have to get my bag first before going to have lunch. I made my way through the students hall suddenly I heard sounds of violin playing.
Glynda: What the?
It's been so long since I heard a violin after his death, I follow the sound of the violin finally ending up in the last room of the hall, room 069.
Glynda: Could it be?
I open the door seeing Mr Luna play a violin, he finished and turn to me.
Glynda: Is that you playing?
I then walk in approaching him.
Vanitas: Yes, is something wrong?
I shake my head
Glynda: No, it's just. I haven't heard a violin in year. What's the violin name?
Vanitas: Blue Moon.
Glynda: What a pretty name. Can you play me a song?
Vanitas: Sure.
He then play another song as I sat on the bunk bed and listen to him. After the death of my best friend years ago I haven't listen to another violin since today.
Vanitas POV
After team RWBY go to have lunch, I stay inside my dorm room taking out Blue Moon, I then start playing it.
Flashback
I was 12 year old, I look around the room seeing Luna carving some wood.
Vanitas: Mother what are you doing?
Luna: I am making you a gift.
Vanitas: A gift? Alright what do you want to eat tonight?
Luna: No, no, no Vanitas, no catch. I just want to make you something as gift.
Vanitas: Heh, I don't believe it.
Luna: *chuckle* When I'm done you will know what the gift is, Vanitas.
Time Skip
Luna: Open it Vanitas.
I open the gift that Luna made me, it was a violin.
Vanitas: This is.
Luna: A violin that I made for you.
Vanitas: What do you call it?
Luna: I haven't name it yet. Why don't you give it a name, dear.
Vanitas: How about... Blue Moon.
Luna: What a pretty name.
Flashback End
After I finished playing Blue Moon the door open, I look seeing Mrs Goodwitch.
Glynda: Is that you playing?
She walk in approaching me.
Vanitas: Yes, is something wrong?
She shake her head
Glynda: No, it's just. I haven't heard a violin in year. What's the violin name?
Vanitas: Blue Moon.
Glynda: What a pretty name. Can you play me a song?
Vanitas: Sure.
She then sit on the bed, as I played my song "Fairy Tail"
Ruby POV
We are inside the cafeteria, I look around not seeing Vanitas anywhere.
Yang: What's the matter sis?
Ruby: Have anyone see Vanitas?
Blake: I think he is in our dorm room.
Nora: Our? What's he doing in your guy dorm room?
Yang: Oh no, we are in his dorm room.
Jaune: Even Weiss?
Ruby: Yeah.
Jaune: Oh no, he is taking her away from me.
Ruby: She isn't your to begin with.
Pyrrha: So is Weiss and Vanitas dating?
Weiss: N-
She hesitant for a bit before continue to eat.
Ren: Mind if I ask, what is your guy relation with Vanitas?
Ruby: We are his new roommate and soon best friends.
Nora: But isn't he some what a bad influence?
Blake: Actually that is just a mask that he put up. He actually is very nice if you get to know him.
Pyrrha: Oh, what does he like?
Ruby: Well he is kind.
Blake: Hardworking.
Weiss: A jerk.
Yang: A bit cold and sometime menacing.
Yang shiver at the last part. I can't blame her, she didn't have the best history with Vanitas.
Ruby: *giggles* Yangsicle.
Yang: Hey! Not funny sis.
Nora: Oh, again with the pet name, huh Weiss?
Weiss: *blush* That wasn't a pet name! And we aren't dating!
Glynda POV
I was listening to Vanitas music.
Vanitas: How was it Mrs?
Glynda: Very nice actually.
My stomach suddenly growl, I then remember that I haven't eaten anything yet.
Vanitas: Are you hungry?
I only nodded
Vanitas: Let's me make you something to eat.
I watch as he walk to the kitchen in the room taking out something from the fridge and start to cook.
I look around seeing the room is fill with books, bottles, items, a piano and for some reason a bunk bed and stone table.
I sat on the table as he brings the dish and place is on the table.
He really remind he of you, Jake. I dig the spoon in and taste it, it was delicious.
Flashback
We were currently still Beacon students.
???: Glynda wake up.
I open my eye seeing Jake putting on his uniform.
Jake: C'mon we are gonna be late.
Glynda: Alright.
I get up still sleepy. Jake had been my first friends since the start of Beacon, he spend a lot of time with me. I was really happy to have meet him.
I listen as he played his song "Beautiful" using his hand made violin.
Black Star, his personal violin. He was really nice and kind, he is a good cook too. But all good things must come to an end. That day tragedy stroke.
Glynda: Hold on tight, Jake!
Jake: Glynda... let's go. Or we will both die!
Tear began to fall from my eyes as I look at my best friend.
Glynda: Don't be dumb! I won't let you die!
Jake: Glynda, please. We are both out of aura, exhausted, you are at your limit. So please let's go and save yourself.
Glynda: Don't say that! I can't..I won't let you die!
Jake: Look, I know it's hard for you. And I sorry, if I hurt you. But...you have to live on and stay strong Glynda.
He then let go of my hand and fall down the dark and endless ravine, until I can't see him anymore. All I could do was cry out, I feel like a part of me just got ripped out of my life.
Flashback End
Vanitas: Are you okay?
Glynda: Huh?
Vanitas: Why are you crying?
Glynda: Oh. Sorry just remembering something that happened before.
I wrip away my tear as I took another bite of the food.
Vanitas: A lady shouldn't cry like that, it will take away your beauty.
The silhouette of Jake appear where Vanitas stand.
Jake: Don't cry Glynda, it will take away your beauty.
