"We're here!" Garroth cheered, breaking down the door of the hotel room you all were staying in.
Katelyn followed him, quick to scold for the destruction of property.
"Garroth! Are you serious!? This isn't our door! This is hotel property!"
"CON! CON! CON! CON!"
"CON! CON! CON! CON!"
You and Ethan cheered rushing into the room with Asher following.
"Stop shouting!" He groaned before rubbing his temples, "I swear, they give me a headache.."
"You wct more like an adult than a kid, Asher!" Travis chuckled, making the boy shrug his shoulders and follow you and Ethan further into the bedroom.
"Anyhow, relax babe! I'll fix the door~. Door potion!" He called, splashing the bottle onto the ground.
But, to his surprise, a bunch of cats came flying out instead.
Was the potion made wrong-?
Obviously.
"Aw, man.." "Don't worry Travis. I've got this." Lucinda smirked, throwing down a potion of her own that fixed the door as it was supposed to.
Ashers eyes sparkled with amazement,
"So cool..." He breathed out as you and ethan jumped up and down on the bed.
"Aww...I'll never be that good..." "No, you won't. I will though~" "Asher!" Aphmau glared.
"What? I am her apprentice."
"Yes, you are. But no need to rub it in, kid." Lucinda winked making Asher nod with a smile, "Yes ma'am!"
"Even the kid is better than me!"
"I dunno Travis...Your skills have been improving." Katelyn comforted before Garroth went to apologize for his actions, "Sorry guys! I'm just so excited! I wasn't thinking straight."
"Thank irene Lucinda was here." "Can you guys stop goofing around? It's the first day of A-Con!"
"A-CON!" You and Ethan repeated. "Why'd you have to say that?" Asher frowned before looking at at your mother, "Thank you for driving me and Ethan by the way."
"No problem Asher."
All of your friends were really excited to go to A-con. But Ethan and Asher didn't have a ride this time around.
So in a last minute pick up, Aphmau decided to grab them. The twins, Logan, Rocky, and Alex should arrive soon.
"WE HAVE TO GET ON OUR COSTUMES!" "Whaat? No, not yet! Rocky and the others aren't here."
"Yeah! What about them?" "We're not gonna leave them, you two, calm down."
"What Aaron said. Besides, we also need to figure out who's sleeping where." "I call this one!" Aphmau called, quickly going to take the rught bed with Katelyn calling dibs on the left and Garroth taking the floor as he had his sleeping bag.
And Laurance...took the chair? "Whaat! No fair!" You huffed, "I'm sharing the bed with Mom!"
You hopped into the bed with Aphmau making her laugh and held you close to her.
"Y/nnn!" Ethan whined.
"What? Find your own place to sleep!" "Typical." Asher scoffed. But him and Ethans pouting was soon put to a stop by Travis placing his hands on their heads, "Don't worry boys, that just leaves us men with the other room."
"Yeah! Manly men!" Ethan grinned.
Asher just gave everyone a skeptical sort of look, "Is there a reason why everyone is trying to avoid the second room.."
"Don't question it! We get the room!"
"Exactly~" "Good luck." "Why good luck-"
Suddenly, Zane rushed in frantically calling dibs on one of the beds. But both beds were already taken. However, he seemed more upset that Katelyn got a bed instead of him.
"You!? Why don't you take the other room missy. I get to room with Aphmau and Y/n!"
"Uhm, you weren't here to claim dibs."
"I was in the bathroom and missed the elevator! Besides, Kawaii~Chan and Damian are in the other room. Why don't you go room with them!"
"Uhh...Why don't you go in the other room and find out for yourself?" "Huh?" Dante mumbled causing your ear to twitch slightly.
It is strange how everyone was avoiding that room..
You went to go see what was up but Aphmau held you tighter with a very uncomfortable expression.
"You..don't want to go in there Y/n." You gave her a confused expression but both Ethan and Asher seemed to have no problem with seeing what was so wrong with the second room.
The two peeked their heads inside the same as Lucinda and Dante.

The sight before them..was horrifying. Disgusting. Stomach churning.
And Ethan couldn't help but let out a high pitched girly like scream and rush out to hide behind Aarons leg.
"WHAT THE HECK!?" He screamed out, shouting something else but buried his face in Aaron to muffle his words.
Asher, on the other hand, walked out calmly and just blinked. A long drawn out sigh left his lips as he covered his face, "I...I can't..." He mumbled before crouching to the ground with his face still covered.
You were still just..baffled.
Just what did these boys see that had them so shaken up?
"Mom..?" "Don't worry about it Y/n. Please don't...I can't relive that again." "Yeaah...I can see why you don't wanna room over there, Katelyn."
"Did they even notice us come in-?"
"Probably not. I mean, they didn't even hear Ethans girly shout." "It was NOT girly!" The boy snapped, making Aaron chuckle and place a hand on his brown curls.
"Katelyn, have you spoken to Kawaii~Chan about this since you last told me you were going to?" "No...I haven't. It always slips my mind."
"Well you better slip out of my bed or else i'll..!" "Zaaane..." You and Aphmau drew out simultaneously
"Hmph...Fine..."
"Okay, tell you what. Katelyn, since you've been suffering with this for quite some time...i'll take the bullet for you. Dante, Travis, Zane and I will room with Kawaii~Chan and Damian an everyone else stays here."
"Speak for yourself...I'm staying here! Move over, Garroth!" "Hey!"
"Okay, whatever..Dante, Travis. Lets go." Lucinda ordered while the boys begrudgingly follow.
"What about the kids?" Aaron questioned, looking down at Ethans still horrified face.
"Uhm..." "Helloooo?" A voice called out making your ear twitch.
You quickly turned to the source and grinned at the fimilar blond hair in your vision.
"Alex!" You and Ethan cheered before rushing over to hug the girl.
"Whoa..!" "Ohh! Quite the room you've got here!" "Mm...Seems cramped though." Alex, Rocky, and Logan commented.
"Oh, great. There's more of them." Katelyn smirked, making you stick your tongue out her way.
Aphmau went over to greet the children who held the costumes you told them to guy.
"There you all are! I was starting to worry." "We're okay Miss. Aphmau! Our cousin just dropped us off here." Sophia nodded while her brother just stood behind her, still nervous about being around so many adults.
"Alright! We're still working out the room situation but.." "No worrys. My Dad got us room." "Your Dad got you a room by yourself!?" Ethan gaped.
"Yeah, he it's because i'm a grown up now." "So cool..." "Hmm...Oh! Mom! We can stay in Alexs' room while you guys stay in here! That sounds better, right?"
Aphmaus smile instantly fell as she began to chew her lip in slight worry.
"I dunno...Are you sure you're ready to stay in a room by yourself..?" "I won't be by myself! I'll have my friends!" "Mm..." Aphmau hummed, causing you to roll your eyes, "Annnd Ashy!"
"Stop calling me that." "And you know you can trust Ashey!" "Are you deaf?"
"I guess...But-" "You can go." Aaron smiled making you brighten up. "Yeah!?" "Yeah. Go have fun with your friends. We're down the hall if you need us. Don't open the doors for strangers."
"Yes! Thanks Dad!" Aarons smile brightened up just a tad more, "No problem, Y/n."
"We'll make sure she's okay Aphmau. Aaron. Let's go." Alex waved, walking out of the door with the rest of you following.
"Oo! You smell different, Alex!" "You're smelling me..?" "This is just a Y/n thing. You should be used to it by now." "What do I smell like Y/n!" "No me!" "Of course the werewolf lover and Y/n simp would ask.." "Y/n simp!?" "That's pretty accurate." "Sophia!" "...hehe..." "..!? Not you too Nicooo!"
Your conversation drifted into silence down at the hall as Aphmau turned to look at Aaron.
"Why'd you make that choice?"
"Aph, she's more than mature enough to handle being in a room by herself. And she's not even by herself she has Asher and the others in there." "I guess..."
"Y/n is getting older, come to think of it." Katelyn hummed. "Yeah, I guess so. Is that what parenting feels like? Wow, she's growing up so fast...Oh my irene, I sound like my Mom-"
"Haha, you'll grow into it." Aaron chuckled, kissing Aphmau on the top of her head. Her face grew ever so slightly pink, "Y-Yeah i guess I will! Y/n will be fine."
"MY BED!" You shouted, jumping into one of the empty but neatly dressed hotel beds.
Alex set down their bag and stared at the bed before cringing ever so slightly, "Check for bed bugs first."
"Why would there be bed bugs?" Asher mumbled, "Gotta be safe." Alex shrugged causing Asher to roll his eyes.
"Whaat! Where are we gonna sleep then?" Ethan huffed, placing his things down on the ground.
"Mm...Rocky! Alex! Sophia! Wanna share a bed?" You smiled, earning an excited look from Rocky.
"YEAH!" She beamed, hopping into bed and landing ontop if you causing giggles to erupt from your mouth.
Sophia on the other hand slowly crawled in and sat with her legs crossed next to the two of you as Alex smirked at the boys.
"Y'know, if the four of us are going to share a bed then shouldn't you four also share a bed?" "Yeah!" Ethan beamed, getting into the next bed (even if he had a little bit of struggle due to his small height..)
Logan, Asher, and Nico each exchanged looks before looking awkwardly off into the distance.
"Uhm...That chair is looking really nice right about now." "Yeah and, uh...I think I can sleep under the bed!" "Yo...You guys don't wanna sleep with me..?" Ethan quietly whispeared, tearing up at the rejection.
Your ears fell at his sudden tears as Rocky shook her head in dismay.
"Seriously "Ethan...!" "It's not like that!" Asher and Loagn waved aroumd before looking toward Nico. He held a blank expression before saying one simple word.
"...No..."
The two boys turned to Nico, surprised at his rather blunt statment. But he either didn't care or wasn't paying attention to how badly that hurt Ethans feelings.
"Oh...O-Okay..."
Logan and Asher felt ever so slightly guilty but flinched when they felt cold eyes on them.
Slowly turning to the source the two boys grew cold at Alexs harsh stare as well as your glare.
"Seriously..?" Sophia scoffed. "Uh.." Asher mumbled as Logan quickly went to defend himself, "W-W-Wait! It's just...Isn't it weird for boys to bed in the same bed!? I-I mean-"
"It's not the fact its weird, I just need my own space." Asher scoffed.
And although he pretended not to care, he did feel a little bit bad for hurting
Ethans feelings.
Nico however, twitched the tip of his tail as it swung back and forth before sighing.
He slowly crawled into bed with Ethan and sat next to him before facing him wordlessly. That's all Ethan had to know before breaking into a smile.
"You mean it?!" "...yeah..." "Thank you, Nico!" Ethan giggled, hugging the mei'fwa who hugged back a tad tentivly.
"See!? Why can't you two be nice like Nico!" Logan and Asher stood, baffled thinking the exact same thing, 'Isn't he the one who said no..?'
Suddenly, you came to a realization. "Oh yeah! We need to get into costumes!" You smiled, hopping out of the bed and pulling out your demon slayer costume.
"Right. I bought what costume you wanted me to wear. But what is this characters purpose again?" Asher question.
"Don't worry about it, Ashy! Just put it on!" You grinned making the boy deadpan at you once more.
"I hate that nickname." He scoffed. "But do you hate meee?" You grinned, leaning close to your best friend. He paused before sighing, "Never."
"Then get dressed!" You laughed, going into the bathroom first to change clothes.
Ethan held up his costume slightly and tilted his head to the side, "I just know my guy is supposed to say 'tastey' when he eats."
"Tastey..?" Sophia mumbled.
"I don't get it either..."

"It's been an hour! Where is everyone? I wanna check out the con already!" Katelyn grumbled.
"More importantly, where's Y/n!? I told you we should've escorted her down here!" "Calm down, babe, i'm sure she's alright. They should be down any second."
"Yeah...yeah, alright. Oh! There's the guys!" Laurance, Garroth, and Zane walked off the elevator in their costumes causing Katelyn to snicker ever so slightly.
Mainly at Garroths costume.
He was dressed as some sort of cat.
"Nice costume, Garroth."
"Hey! I think I look rather dashing in this! Besides, Lucinda and I are partner up in this cosplay for the contest. So with her, this will look even better~!"
"Heh...I love that you die Die DYED your hair for your costume Aphmau." Zane smirked, referencing something that seemed to go with his costume.
"Yeah, yeah. Thanks. Washes right out." Aphmau waved, seeing rather distant from everyone else while glancing around the lobby.
"Is she..?" "Y/n hasn't gotten here yet so she's jumpy." Aaron sighed, scratching the back of his head.
"Y/ns fine. She's got Asher with her." "I don't know why you guys always think that everything will be fine just because Y/n has Asher."
"Well, to be fair, I try to look after Y/n as much as possible." A fimilar voice spoke, causing Aphmau to cran her neck around as if he were a owl.
Asher was standing in his costume, dressed as Giyuu Tomioka.
"Asher! You're here!" "Yes. Yes I am."
The boy nodded with blank eyes.
"Where's Y/n?" "Right here," You beamed coming up behind your friend with excited eyes, "Hi Mom! D'you like my costume? It's so wavy, hehehe!" You giggled, flapping the arms of the kimono around.
You were dressed as Shinobu Kocho.
"Oh thank irene you're okay!" Aphmau sighed out, lifting you up into her arms while pressing her face against yours.
"Mom..we were only apart for an hour..." You mumbled, "Doesn't mean I wasn't worried!"
"Put me down! You're embarrassing me..." You frowned. Aphmau giggled and gave you a quick kiss on your forehead before setting you down.
"Thank you..." "TASTEY!" Ethan shouted while holding hands with Alex and Nico.
"Am I doing it right?" "I think so." Rocky laughed while joining the group with Logan and Sophia at her side.
Ethan was dressed as Rengoku while Alex and Nico were dressed as Obanai and Muichiro with Alex being the snake pillar and Nico being the mist pillar.
Logan was Tengen, Rocky was Sanemi, and finally Sophia was Mitsuri.
The whole team seemed complete with the costumes you all were wearing!
Until Laurence mentioned one thing, "Wait, isn't there supposed to be one more..?"
That made you pick your head up, "Huh?...Oh! You mean Gyomei! He's my favorite. So I let Scrouchy dress up as him!" You beamed holding up the stuffed F/A that was dressed at the stone pillar.
"I made the costume myself." Laurance chuckled and ruffled the space between your ears. He was dressed as Spiderman.
"I can tell..." "Anyone can tell, really." Asher smirked making you turn to him with a pout and punch his arm.
"Ow!" "Shut up!" "I'm just saying! No need to hit me." You stuck your tongue out instead of extending the argument further causing the boy to roll his eyes.
Travis then approached you all with a smile. But it instantly fell at the sight of Laurance.
He, to, was spiderman.
"AW MAN!" The two groaned, making Dante laugh with a slight scoff. He was Mario!
"I told you you should've been Luigi, Travis." "Why didn't you tell me you were gonna be spiderman!?" "Same to you!"
"Alright guys, it doesn't matter. Can we just go to the con now?" Katelyn groaned, making you and Ethan perk up.
"Yes, Yes!" "Con please!" "What about Kawaii~Chan and Damian?" "They told us to go on without them. Kawaii~Chan had an incident with her tail and the costume so she's currently patching things up."
"Alright! Let's get going!" "Yes, please!"
"The sooner Laurance and I get to the convention, the sooner we can blend in and not have to see eachother..." "Yeah! But at least we'll be the only spiderman there!" Laurance smiled.
They were not the only spiderman there. It seemed like everywhere they went, there was a spiderman.
"Oh.." You mumbled.
Asher, Rocky, and Alex on the other hand seemed to find the situation amusing as they were very clearly laughing at how Laurance and Travis' costumes backfried on them.
"You've gotta be kidding!? This ain't funny kid!" "NO WAY!" "No, it's super funny!" "Sucks to be you two, I guess." "It's a little amusing."
The three snickered making you pinch them simultaneously.
"Well I guess spidermans pretty popular this year." "At least there aren't as many deadpools as there usually are." Garroth smiled before looking toward the group of deadpools chilling in the corner.

It seemed spiderman and deadpool were popular.
You remember watching both movies with Aaron.
Spiderman was really cool! It made you want to be him! But you didn't watch a lot if the deadpool movie though.
Aaron kept covering your ears and eyes at certain parts.
You never did figure out why..
"Ughh! I should've given more thought to this," Travis groaned before shaking off his disappointment, "Well! If you can't beat em', Join em'!"
"Wait for me!" The two men smiled, going to join the group of spidermen.
Everyone else also went off to do their own thing as Ethan bounced up and down with excitment.
"Come onnn! Can't we go now?" He whined making you grin. "Yeah! Lets go! There's so much to do here, you guys are gonna love it!"
"Then stop talking it up and lets go alreadyyy!" Alex groaned, making Sophia chuckle at their impaitentness.
You grinned and quickly went to go inside the con before Aphmau grabbed your arm.

"Wait, wait wait. You can't go on your own! Me and Aaron will follow you." You couldn't help but huff.
For some reason, Aphmau seemed a lot more protective of you recently.
And as sweet as that was, it was growing it bit aggravating. You can handle yourself.
You're not just some naive child.
"Seriously? Aph, we can handle ourselves." You pouted, looking off the side.
"You're just a kid. I'm not sending you guys into a convention by yourselves."
"So boring..." You groaned, making your friends look at eachother a little awkwardly.
"Come on Y/n. Are you saying me and Aphmau are boring?" Aaron smirked, making you jolt slightly.
"No!...Well, you aren't. Aphmau is." You bluntly stated, causing a snicker to errupt from Aarons mouth.

You all were about to enter the con before Aphmau began feeling around her pockets with an agitated look placed on her face.

"Uhh...I think i left my wallet in the hotel room." "Whaaat!" "But the con!" Ethan and Rocky whined, making Aaron place his hands on their heads to calm them down a little.
"I'm sorry, Aaron, you can go on without me!" "What? No way. Lets go together!" "Really? Alright! Come on, kids, let's go."
"Huh? Wait, why do we have to go." Logan huffed, folding his arms across his chest.
"W-Well...I can't just leave you all here by yourselves." Aphmau sighed, eye you for a moment.
That made another irritated look cross your face.

Asher let out a breath, "Aphmau. We'll be fine. We'll use the buddy system and won't seperate from eachother." "We won't-Ow!" Logan whined, rubbing the spot Asher elbowed.

"Babe, the faster we get your wallet the faster we can get back to them." "Fine, fine. If you need money, go to one of the guys or Lucinda or something. We'll be back. Behave!" Aphmau called as Aaron dragged her away.

Asher sighed before yelping as Alex wrapped their arms around his neck.
"Nice job Asher! Now we can do what we want!" "Yeah! That was a pretty good plan!" Rocky beamed.
But the boy slipped right out of their arms, folding his arms across his chest with a scowl.
"Uhm, I wasn't joking. I gave Aphmau a promise. So we'll use the buddy system." "Aw..lame.." The two scoffed simultaneously.
"Don't be like that guys." "You were just acting the same way though-" "ShutupLogan. Let's enjoy the con!"
"Yeah!" Ethan giggled, bouncing on his heels.
"Buddy system style!" Sophia reminded making Nico reach his hand out to Ethan.
You all linked hands and entered the con, watching other cosplayers pass by or people converse with eachother.
You also saw Zane being chased by girls..?
Quite uncharacteristic for him.
Even your friends were slightly confused.
"I thought that guy repelled girls." Asher scoffed. "Should we help him?" Sophia questioned, worried as to why these girls were chasing him like that.
"Nah, he'll be okay. He's Zane!" You smiled making Nico nod. He's seen that man go threw many things.
Some pesky girls shouldn't be that much of a bother.
Once actually inside the building, Ethan was the first to express his amazment at all the people in costumes and items that could be bought.
"Wow...WOW WOW WOW! There...What do we...THIS IS SO AMAZING!" He cheered, leaping up and down.
"Calm down Ethan..." Alex chuckled.
"What should we do first?" Sophia suggested. You hummed in thought.
"Well...we could go and look at the figurines and stuff. Or buy merch. Maybe eat some food...or-" "Who are they?" Logan pointed.
You turned your head and your eyes instantly lit up.
"Oh..my..irene!" They were a pair of adults, also in costume, but dressed as demons.
Fimilar, demons.

You ignored Asher.
"Those guys are the demons they fight! They're called...The upper demon moons or somethin'-"
"Whoaaa. The upper demon moons or something!" Ethan gasped,
"The upper demon moons..?" "What do you even wanna do about that..." Alex and Asher questioned.
"I say...We get into a characters." You spoke seriously, letting go of Asher and Logans hands to pump a fist in the air.
"Lets challange them to a fight!" You shouted.
"We can do that!?"
"Whatever you want, Y/n! I'll protect you with my life!"
"Yeaah!...Wait what?"
"Fight them...Seriously. Are you guys stupid..?"
"Ha! No, no. Let them do it Asher. Go ahead and fight. I'll sit back here and watch."
"Here's an idea! Let's not fight at all! Nico! Help me out here?"
Nico turned to his sister before smiling a soft smile and wagging his tail that was supposed to be tucked away into the costume.

While you, Rocky, and Ethan were all for fighting your "enemies" Katelyn suddenly ran to you at full speed with a downright furious expression on jer face.
You would screamed had it not been for the quick way she scooped you up.
"AHHHHhhhh...Katelyn!? WHAT THE HECK, YOU SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME-" "We need to go right now!"
"Wha-Why!? I just got here!" "Kawaii~Chans crying!" "Wait, what!?" You yelped, ears and tail suddenly popping out in surprise.
"Come on! Let's go!" "Katelyn! Can't we talk about this fIRST--" You were cut off by Katelyn racing offf again with you in tow, your screams sounding like echos in the distance.
Your friends only stood, hand in hand, baffled at the scene that just played out before them.
"Huh." "That was.." "A sudden change of events." "Yeah...LET'S FIGHT THEMMM!" Ethan shouted, drawing his flaming "sword" and dashing off to do battle!
"I'm with you! Hehe!" "Rocky! Ethan! YOU BETTER NOT!" Asher shouted, dashing off after the two.
"This is gonna be a long day...And Y/ns gone too..." Logan whined, going off to follow Asher.
"Hm...I'm gonna go get some food." Alex mumbled, going off to remove themselves from the situation. But Sophia grabbed their arm. "Alex..."
"Alright, alright. I'm coming." They mumbled, letting Sophia drag them off to stop Ethan from doing something stupid.
Nico, on the other hand, stood and watched his friends for a moment. His eyes were able to been seen with the costume.
Even if they were a different color due to contacts.
The tip of his tail began to wag once more, "..I still love my friends.."
