Liella! are a nine member group now?
That's awesome!
I've been so preoccupied with μ's' and Aqours' campaigns that I lost focus on following Liella!'s progress.
Now a new School Idol Fansite campaign brings me back to the place where school idols originally began.
Yuigaoka Girls' High School. Formerly Jinguu Music Academy, where its final Student Council President made a stand to save the school from closing.
That girl was Hana Hazuki, who would form KiSeKi, the first ever school idol group.
But the concept wasn't her idea. That was created by her Vice-President, Aiko Takasaki.
...My mother.
Yet, it's Hana Hazuki who took the concept and ran with it. While my Mom always thought it was a dumb idea of hers.
But she's wrong, and I only wish she could see how far her idea has reached.
Now her son, Akihiko Suzuki is spreading the word of school idols through the School Idol Fansite.
Fate is something I'm not a believer in. I don't believe in supernatural occurrences.
But this all seems too coincidental.
KANON: "Welcome."
AKI: "Oh, hey. Nice to see you don't have your headphones on this time."
KANON: "Well, I thought you'd be waiting for us. So there was no point in wearing them.
It's not like you're a stranger I can shy away from anymore."
AKI: "True, we did take that plummet together on Kōzushima."
KANON: "EHH?! P-Please don't remind me..."
AKI: "Anyway, I'm here on School Idol Fansite business today. I'd hate to keep all NINE of you waiting."
KANON: "R-Right! Our new members really want to meet you."
AKI: "I don't see what's so exciting about me, but-"
KANON: "No, it's because of you that they're here!"
AKI: "...Eh?"

Walking through the school, I noticed how nicely renovated the different areas were.
I guess Liella!'s rise in popularity has been reflected on their school.
AKI: "Good morning, everyone."
CHISATO: "'Uisuu!"
REN: "How nice to see you again."
KEKE: "Zzz..."
SUMIRE: *BONK* "Wake up! We've got company!"
KEKE: "Ow! Give it a rest, isopod!"
SUMIRE: "I think you've had enough rest! If you weren't staying up all night watching school idol videos, perhaps you'd have a shot in showbiz!"
KEKE: "Keke's not interested in that. Besides, she wasn't up all night watching school idol videos. She was up all night reading the School Idol Fansite articles!"
AKI: "Uh... It's nice to see you all again. But, where are these new members I heard about?"
REN: "Running late, again."
AKI: "Not the best of first impressions..."
*SLAM*
Suddenly a brunette girl with long twintails entered the room. Clearly looking distressed.
KINAKO: "S-Sorry I'm late! ...Huh?"
She looked up to see a boy she had never seen before.
KINAKO: "Kyah! S-Sorry! I must have the wrong Clubroom!"
KANON: "Kinako!"
KINAKO: "K-Kanon?! Then... Why is there a boy here? Is the school becomin' mixed-gendered?! Did I not hear 'bout this? I'm always makin' mistakes about this big city! This another one?"
KANON: "No, no. Relax. He's the writer for the School Idol Fansite."
KINAKO: "Eh? Oh... I'm terr'bly sorry, sir!"
AKI: "Um... It's okay?"
KINAKO: *Sob* "I prob'ly look like such an idiot to you."
AKI: "Wha-?! D-Don't cry."
SUMIRE: "That's a new record for making her cry. Hope you're proud of yourself."
AKI: "I didn't do anything!"
SHIKI: "Loud..."
I looked back towards the entrance to see two girls standing there.
One with blue hair, the other with red hair.
Wait... Hold up.
Haven't I seen that face before?
MEI: "Rowdier than usual today isn't it, Shi-?"
AKI: "...?"
MEI: "...?!"
The red-haired girl looked at me like a deer caught in headlights. Then she began to turn away before her friend tugged her collar.
SHIKI: "No. Stay."
MEI: "I-I wasn't prepared for this yet!"
AKI: "Uh... That's three of them, I guess? Where's the last member?"
REN: "Oh, she's quite...eccentric."
AKI: "How so?"
*SLAM*
Suddenly a bright haired girl obnoxiously kicked the door open as if she was breeching the premises.
That poor door is going to fall off of its hinges at this rate.
NATSUMI: "Oninatt'sup! Another beeeea-utiful day at my private academy! Be sure to smash that like button and hit subscribe! We're here today expecting a visitor! Ooh, cool, right?! I know, I know, it's incredible.
We're really getting famous! Even so, donations are still always appreciated!"
AKI: "..."
NATSUMI: "What's that chat? A boy? No, there are no boys in this academy! So Oninattsu is in fact single! So this Valentine's Day look into my wishlist to see some gifts that I would love!"
AKI: "What the...?"
NATSUMI: "Huh? Oh. Looks like our visitor is in fact, a boy! But do not worry, Oninattsu won't be flirting! So keep your hopes up and your wallets open!"
AKI: "...?"
REN: "..."
AKI: "..."
NATSUMI: "Oninattsu signing off! Bye bye!"
KANON: "...And that makes everyone."
