»»----> On the day you arrived,
there were clear skies in Korea. The plane trip had been shorter than you had expected, and there were practically no disturbances from loud passengers.

You grabbed your luggage when the plane arrived at the airport. You wait there, waiting for a friend by the name of Jiyoung Yoo. She had promised to pick you up from the airport whenever you arrived, but because you arrived earlier, you knew you would have to sit there and wait for a little while.

Just as you were about to look around the airport's food court, Jiyoung appeared with a dark-haired man in a green suit. He looked nice, so he must have been a friend of Jiyoung, or a member of her association.

"Jiyoung! It's great to see you again." Y/N grinned from ear-to-ear, pulling her into a tight hug. She smiled and hugged back, also glad to see one of her old friends again.

"It really is. Oh, by the way, this is Inhyuk Goo, he is a member of my association." She stated, pointing to the man in the green suit that you now knew the name of.

"It's wonderful to meet you, Mr. Goo." You gave him a small smile, bowing a bit. You weren't sure whether or not he was a higher-up in Shinhwa, so you acted very carefully and formally, as to not be disrespectful.

"You can call me Inhyuk, no need to be formal or anything!" He nervously laughed. "Did I really look that old for someone in their 20's to call me Mister?!" He thought.

"Whatever you prefer, Inhyuk." You said to the man, to which he seemed relieved. Jiyoung shot him an odd glance, but ultimately decided to ignore his unusual behavior.

"Well, I think we should go get lunch, then head to the association." Inhyuk spoke after that moment of awkward silence and odd glance from the chairwoman.

"That sounds like a good idea, but I don't really know of any restaurants here in Korea." You said, hoping not to inconvenience them by making them choose.

"We didn't expect you to choose, that's why we chose beforehand in the car ride here to prevent any trouble." Jiyoung said, grabbing your hand and walking out to her car.

"Who's sitting in the front?" You looked at Inhyuk. He shrugged, so you exclaimed, "let's play Rock Paper scissors!"

"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" You both spoke in unison, as you chose paper, and he chose rock.

"Best out of three?" He timidly suggested, but you shook your head no, and so he sat in the back. He pouted a bit.

Jiyoung and you were amused by this. Inhyuk on the other hand; not so much.

Jiyoung started driving, and you looked back at Inhyuk. "Oh no! We forgot your booster seat!" You teased. He rolled his eyes, leaning his head against the window.

"Now, now, Y/N. You just got to Korea, don't be making Inhyuk dislike you already." She said, before whispering just loud enough for him to hear, "he throws tantrums if he gets upset."

"I do not!!" He exclaimed. He then calmed down after realizing the two women were laughing at him for proving Jiyoung right.

-----

When you got to the restaurant, you decided to sit in the booth next to Inhyuk. You faced Jiyoung directly, and were next to the windowsill that contained a few dead moths.

You ordered your drinks. Jiyoung ordering a water, Inhyuk an iced tea, and you your favorite drink.

"Y/N," Jiyoung began. "Any plans of things to do while you're here? Or just visiting?" She twirled her straw around in her water.

"Hmm, I'm not entirely sure yet." You laughed a bit. "I might do a few things, but I mainly came here to visit some friends."

"That will still be fun." Inhyuk said, taking a sip of his tea and looking at the girl next to him who finished speaking.

"How has life been in (country you live in)?" Jiyoung asked, looking at the h/c girl sat across from her.

"Pretty good, just finishing college is a teeny bit nerve wracking." You said, to which both Shinhwa members laughed a bit, mainly Inhyuk.

"Any boyfriends?" Jiyoung smiled.

"Or girlfriends, too." Inhyuk added, to which Jiyoung nodded. "Oh, yes, girlfriends too." She agreed.

"Well, not currently, no." You said, sighing. "It would be nice to be in a romantic relationship, but I'm still happy on my own for now." Y/N smiled.

"Mhm, I understand that." Jiyoung said. "Inhyuk here would too, he's never going to get a girlfriend."

Inhyuk was about to reply, but knew not to. If he were to do so, the women would only laugh at him.

"Oh, I can tell. Inhyuk, if you maybe try a different hairstyle, women might like you more." You jokingly suggested, but Inhyuk noted that for the next date he would go on.

The waitress came over to ask them about food. You ordered first, your favorite food. Then, Inhyuk ordered Spaghetti, and Jiyoung a salad with garlic bread.

The restaurant was mainly Italian cuisine, but a few other types of foods as well.

The trio sat in silence, before Y/N finally spoke up. "I heard rumors of... Kayden.. being here in Korea." Her voice was a bit quieter.

"I heard that, too." Jiyoung said, and Inhyuk nodded, and added in. "Do you know him, Y/N?"

You sighed, mentally facepalming yourself for bringing the topic of Kayden Break up.

"I wish I didn't. We aren't exactly on the best terms." You began. "We've always had a rivalry against each other, with us trying to get strong enough to be able to defeat the other one." You said, and then quickly added. "Oh, and if you were wondering, we still dislike each other, although Kayden seems to take this rivalry farther than I do."

"He started it, anyway." Jiyoung told Inhyuk, and so you quirked an eyebrow at her. "I believe you told me that. If you didn't, I heard it from one of our friends." She said, as you nodded, remembering when you told her about the situation.

The waitress came back with your food, and so you all ate. There wasn't much talking, as you and the others focused on eating.

You all finished, and you gathered the plates to make it easier for whoever was going to clean your table.

You were about to retrieve money from your wallet for leaving a tip, but Jiyoung stopped you. "Oh uh, we don't really tip here." She reminded you.

"Oh, right! Sorry, it's been awhile since I've been in Korea." You said, putting your wallet away.

"It's okay. A lot of people who are new to Korea or haven't been here in a long time forget about not tipping." She smiled to make sure you knew your mistake was an easy one to make.

Her smile comforted you. You were worried about looking stupid or rude, but Inhyuk and Jiyoung understood.

The three of you got in Jiyoung's car yet again. "Is it okay if we head to the association?" Jiyoung asked the girl who was now sitting next to her.

"Of course! I'd actually like to see what has changed since I've been." You exclaimed, grinning. Your grin quickly ceased, as you remembered the last time you were there was when Jiyoung's parents were in charge- and alive.

You shook the thought off, before asking if you could play music.

"Definitely, just please nothing too inappropriate. I'm also not the biggest fan of country music." Jiyoung said, paying close attention to the road, and making sure she was driving exactly at the speed limit.

"Don't worry, I'll be sure to play some good music." You assured her, connecting your phone to the car through Bluetooth. You played your favorite music artist, and Inhyuk smiled.

"This is a good artist. Something the chairwoman wouldn't know much about because she never listens to music." He said, jokingly glaring over at the brunette driving.

Jiyoung smiled. "Well, Inhyuk, maybe if you had an important and meaningful job, you would see that you don't have much time to listen to music." Her tone was passive-aggresive, hopefully in a joking manner.

This made the man silent, as he sunk down in his seat. Y/N turned the music up a bit more, rolling the window down. A soft breeze entering the vehicle.

The whole ride, you played all your favorite songs, which Inhyuk seemed to know a few of. Jiyoung didn't really know any of the songs you played, but still enjoyed the music nonetheless.

When you arrived, you quickly went to Inhyuk's car door, holding it open. "For m'lady." You said, sending a fake over-the-top smile his way.

"Oh my, however thoughtful of you. Such a gentleman." He spoke in high-pitched voice, and put his left hand against his collarbone while he spoke.

"Alright. Let's go now." Jiyoung stated, looking at the two snorting at their-- in her opinion-- immature humor.

The duo followed Jiyoung into the building, their laughing quickly fading as to not upset her too much. She became more serious at the association.

You got in the elevator, and Inhyuk pressed the floor that led to Jiyoung's office. The elevator chimed, as the doors opened.

You took in the view through the windows. It sure was high up in the air. You then followed Jiyoung to her office.

"Here's my office." She said, opening the door. She walked over to her chair to sit.

"Hasn't changed all that much since I was here." You said, looking around.

"I didn't want to change it much after.." she trailed off, and so you cleared your throat, beginning on a different topic of conversation.

"Where's Jisuk?" You questioned. He usually would have been at the association, or at least he was the last time you were in Korea.

"School." Jiyoung replied simply, cleaning her desk a little and straightening papers.

"Right, it's still school hours. That must not be fun for him." You thought. You disliked school when you were there. College was still very much unenjoyable, though.

"Tell him I said hi. I'm going to check into a hotel." You stated, and hugged Jiyoung. You waved and smiled to Inhyuk, who did the same. You then left, thinking about how you had to walk for a while until you found a hotel.
