I looked back at the recordings of my competitions. Watching how well I interacted with the ice. So smooth and comfortably.
I knew that I had the fall in here as well but when I try to watch it, I just get triggered.
I miss winning.
I miss hearing the cheers of amazement at my skill and beauty.
I miss being me.
Boris came into the room and came over to the desk. "You watching skating?"
I nodded and looked up at him.
"You miss it."
I nodded again and he looked over at the screen.
"You are still so good. No skater could beat you." He smiled.
I shrugged and looked back at the computer.
"I'm just not good anymore, Boris." I whispered.
He kissed my head and I laid my head against him.
"You will never see you how I see you, detka. To me you are the most beautiful, most successful woman I know."
I nodded and Boris shut my laptop.
"So... Come here."
He pulled me out of the chair and I held him. "Boris-"
He kissed my head and I put my arms around his shoulder. Boris hummed and swayed with me a little. "We could... Cheer you up." He whispered, kissing my neck playfully.
"Boris!" I hugged him tighter and he laid me down on the bed. Boris stared down at me and smiled at me. I smiled back and sat up, wrapping my arms around his neck.
Boris kissed me and got onto the bed with me.
He kissed my jaw and I brushed my fingers through his hair.
"You're everything, Boris."
He laughed and sat up.
"Everything?"
"Everything good." I smiled.
He stared at me for a moment before speaking up again,
"Marry me."
My eyes widened and Boris looked around. "I do not have no ring but- but, get married with me."
I sat up and he looked at me anxiously.
"I would love to marry you, Boris."
He laughed and kissed me, hugging me tightly. I kissed him back and Boris rubbed my face with his thumbs.
"Good... This is good."
