Under the cloudy sky, the waves of sea slammed towards the hull of JS Hōshō, JS Mirai, JS Yukikaze, JS Takao, and JS Ayanami from Special Escort Flotilla, and supported by a supply ship JS Tokiwa, they're sailing toward Rodenius Continent
Previously, there was contact from a fleet from the Rodenius continent. However, due to the language barrier preventing the ships from the Rodenius continent to understand either Japanese or English, they returned to where they come from
Fortunately, Sakashima Bakufu is willing to help Japan to establish a friendly relationship with the Quila-Toyne Federation on the Rodenius continent, Japan employs some people from Fenn to become a translator until their diplomats were able to fully understand the common and Rodenius language
Kazuha stood on the deck of JS Hōshō, looking at the vast sea and feeling the breeze wind, he's already seen glimpses of Japan and he was thinking about his country

Kazuha nodded and followed the sailor, meanwhile on front of most of the fleet, JS Yukikaze detected a mass of ships 50 nautical miles in front of them, Ichiro crossed his arms and commented
"looks like they're welcoming us"
"Should we be aware of this"
Ichiro replied "yeah, but we're here to establish diplomacy ties, not starting a war, so keep it steady"
The special escort flotilla sailing toward the unknown fleet from the southwest, meanwhile on the Quila-Toyne Federation's fleets, captain Ridomi stood on the bow of his trireme thinking about the previous encounter with the unknown mast and oarless ships when he was tasked to pursue the unknown objects that flying eight days ago, somehow he still remember that the unknown ship was able to speak, although he didn't know what it said
Suddenly a sailor positioned on the crow's nest reported something, "Captain, the grey ships coming from the horizon, it seems that they're bigger than before"
Hearing this, Ridomi was surprised, "Order everyone to prepare, we'll face them"
"But sir, they have a cannon"
"I don't care, we need to protect our country"
Quila-Toyne sailors began to scramble to their post, the ships began to form a line of defense to repel an invader. Suddenly they saw a flying object from the unknown fleet, however, it was different compared to the object that flying above Maihark before, suddenly the object was speaking a Rodenian language

The SH-60L flew back into the carrier, and the Quila-Toyne sent their boat to meet the Japanese diplomat, upon their boat sailing closer, they were surprised by the size of JS Hōshō
"Such a huge ship, how do we can board it"
"These ships are made from metal, I don't think that our ballista can destroy it"
Suddenly, they heard a rumbling sound. The Japanese diplomat arrived via boat although it didn't seem like they didn't use the oar and even its speed is much faster than their Trireme. Upon their boat is begin to closer, he saw that they were similar to the Fennese although only one that wearing the traditional clothes, the rest are wearing a strange outfit
"Have anybody can speak the Fennese language" ask Ridomi. Everyone shakes their heads, making Ridomi put his palm on his face
Both of their boats finally stopped, they glanced at each other, then a Fennese translator began to speak
"Gentlemen, no need to be afraid, they're hailing from Japan, hundreds of Selims from our coast"
Ridomi then responded, "I see, that means the Iron dragon that is flying above our sky belongs to Japan?"
He saw the Fennese translator and Japanese diplomats begin to discuss something, then the translator spoke "Yes, they want to apologize for that and establish trade with Quila-Toyne, especially the food product"
"Are you sure, with that fleet, I'm afraid that people back there might be thinking that Japan is planning to invade us" ask Ridomi
Both the translator and Japanese diplomat talking to each other was so tense from Ridomi's perspective. Then the translator spoke "Alright, but they're unable to reach the port since the port is too shallow"
After that, both of them returned to their fleet, Ridomi still fascinated by the speed of the Japanese boat, he realizes that waging war against Japan would be unwise
Maihark, Quila-Toyne Federation
Several minutes later, a Trireme from the Quila-Toyne Navy led the Japanese Special Escort Flotilla towards the port city of Maihark. After several hours of sailing through the seas, they arrived at the Maihark, the special escort flotilla anchored outside the port, and an MV-22 flying from the JS Hōshō carrying the diplomatic team and the Fennese translator
Back at the Maihark, the situation become mixed between fear and curiosity from the civilian around the Maihark after the Japanese fleet anchored there and sent out the unknown object above their sky, forcing the Quila-Toyne authorities to conduct the order where their wyvern knights escorting the MV-22 until it landed on the open field, surrounded by Quila-Toyne Army to welcomed them.
Meeting room, Maihark
The meeting room is filled with a tense atmosphere, supposedly prime minister Ka'anta is taking the day off to visit the Maihark. However, after the recent news about the Japanese arrival and the withdrawal of Perlidian diplomats, they were forced to establish diplomacy with a newly emerged country.
"This is the only way Ridukin since damn Perlidians are backing Lourian instead, we must choose this country"
"Are you sure First Minister Ka'anta, I don't want them to conquer our continent, just look at their ships"
Ka'anta sighed, "don't worry, I'll handle this"
A few minutes later, the diplomats entered the room, both Ridukin and Ka'anta were surprised by the looks of the Japanese diplomats, then Ridukin whispered to Ka'anta.
"they look like the people from central civilization, better not provoking them with hostile intention"
Ka'anta nodded, then the Fennese translator began to speak about the Japanese demand for a diplomatic and trading agreement, occasionally Ka'anta asked about Japan which the Japanese diplomat gladly answer, with the translator trying to translate the answer.
"So let's get through the point, we trade our grains for millions of your people in exchange for technological advancement?" ask Ka'anta.
A Japanese diplomat was nodded, and the translator and other diplomats talked to each other about the demand, then the translator spoke "although their government can't provide it sooner due to the event of their nation that summoned to this Arrete"
Then a laugh can be heard from the Quila-Toyne side, it was from Ridukin laughing loudly while the other stares at him either cold and confusedly
"I'm sorry, where's my manner, but there's no way a country that summoned from your world to this Arrete" said Ridukin while he trying to calm himself after laughing loudly.
"I'm sorry gentlemen, we need to discuss this for a moment,'' Ka'anta said as he dragged Ridukin and led him outside.
After they left, a Japanese diplomat named Shinji Takenobu was puzzled about it, and he asked the translator "what was that about, and why is he laughing at our country?"
"I'm sorry sir Takenobu, but the story of the summoned country is just a legend of the past, that's why people didn't believe it"
Takenobu was surprised "A legend you say? would you like to explain more?"
"Unfortunately sir Takenobu, I don't know fully about the legend, maybe you can ask nearby scholars for it"
Meanwhile on the outside, the heated debate between Ka'anta and Ridukin over the diplomatic discussion.
"Are you dumb Ridukin, you're almost embarrassing our country toward them, this is the only our chance to survive against Lourian Imperium that is backed by Perlidian"
"but are you even believe that Ka'anta, there's no way a country that equal to the central civilization suddenly popped up in the eastern 'uncivilized' area"
Ka'anta stared at the sky "even since Alderia is under Perlidian sphere of influence, the prices are controlled by those damned Perlidians. If we can secure the relationship with Japan, not only we secure our economy, but also Japan might provide us with technological advancement, unlike the Mirishial that keeps their advancement for us or Murin that offers us with either a ludicrous price or demand"
"But, what if Japan doing the same with Murin too?" asked Ridukin
"Like I said Ridukin, let me handle this"
After a short debate outside, both Ka'anta and Ridukin continue the meeting with the Japanese diplomats, there's some disagreement although it can be solved with the cool-headed by them.
"Wait, your governments aren't sharing your weapons technology with us soon, why?" asked Ka'anta.
"They said their government is still deciding whether or not to give their military equipment considering that the Quila-Toyne is lack something called 'modern' infrastructure," said the translator.
Ka'anta stared at Ridukin, who crossed his arms and stared at the Japanese diplomat who was returned by the cold stares of the Japanese diplomat. Ka'anta was supposedly offering some lands for Japanese military bases but that would be harming the sovereignty of the Quila-Toyne Federation, then an idea popped into his mind.
"How about the mutual defense agreement, just in case if your country is under the threat of war, our country will gladly help you using the food and material that your country needs. Of course, your country should help us whenever we were under attack"
Ka'anta saw both the translator who translating his offer to the Japanese diplomat and the diplomat itself, the diplomat let his heavy sigh and nodded to the translator, and the translator began to speak.
"they said they'll discuss it further with their government, so until the decision is made, they want to trade with Quila-Toyne normally"
After the meeting, both sides signed the trade agreement between them. Of course, the Quila-Toyne government showed both its military and its magic to the Japanese diplomats, hoping to impress them with their military performance.
the shows were conducted outside the Maihark, a mage cast off his fireball and launched it toward the dummy targets, destroying a cluster of dummy targets, the cheer erupted from the crowd. Meanwhile, the Japanese diplomatic team is watching in silence to suppress their excitement, the other two were weapon experts tasked with gathering intelligence about their weapons.

the man beside him answered "That spell huh, maybe around 40x53mm grenade launcher"

"Hmm, that seems smaller than Mk 82... no it's much smaller than that, maybe even smaller than Mk 81. For the incendiary effect, maybe around the M69 incendiary bomb"
both of them keep Analysis the Quila-Toyne Federation's military, and soon they concluded that they aren't much of a threat compared that we previously predicte.

The clouds covered the skies above the capital, and although the number of the demonstrations died down, many still stayed on the roads and parks. Inside the prime minister's office, a lone figure around 40-50s sat on his chair, a nameplate written as Prime Minister Takamori Rikuto, he closed his eyes and listened to the radio broadcast
"... Yesterday, around 69 died from attempts of suicide, total there are 420 died from suicide attempts since the unknown phenomenon that government declared as 'an Isekai case'..."
Suddenly he heard someone knocking on the door, he ordered someone who knocked on the door to enter his office, it was his assistant, Mayumi Tomomi.
"Prime minister Rikuto, these are the report about the meeting with the Quila-Toyne Federation," she said as she gave him the document, Rikuto read the content of the document, and suddenly he raised his eyebrows
"They want a mutual defense agreement?. I don't think the diet would like this"
He closed the document and stared at Tomomi, "is there anything else?" he asked his assistant
"the temporary president of the United States of America would come here to discuss the next thing to do"
Several minutes later, the door opened and revealed a caucasian man around his 20-30s. He sat on the chair and began to speak, "So prime minister, should we start now?"
"Yes, amb... I mean Mr. President Michael Wilson, the fate of future Japan and the foreigner that are trapped in this country would decide from the result of this meeting"
Both began talking about troop deployments, Japan still insisted that USFJ wouldn't need to be deployed outside Japan considering the politics inside Japan and the supply chain that Japan had to bear. They moved out to authorize total lockdown to protect both Japanese and foreigners trapped in Japan during the transfer against the unwanted threat, just during the discussion, a telephone was ringing
"Prime Minister Rikuto here, what happened?"
<<Sir, the JAXA confirmed that the unknown objects orbiting above are the satellite, however they're unable to establish contact with it>>
Rikuto raised his eyebrows, "Hmm alright, tell JAXA that we need to launch the new satellite that has been postponed during the transfer, anything else ?"

Rikuto put back his telephone, sighed, and leaned back in his chair, Wilson watched through Rikuto's telephone conversation and began to ask
"Do you think America also transported here too?"
"I don't know president Wilson, if that is the case, we already contacted Guam"
"I'm not sure Mr. Rikuto, maybe their Islands would be teleported closer to the mainland"
Both of them continued to discuss the plan for the future, and both agreed that the USFJ will provide the help that Japan needed and provide security among the foreigner, they shake their hand and the temporary president left the office

Under the rough sea of the far west ocean, a nuclear submarine FMS AU-5 pierced through the unforgiving sea. Commandeered by captain Frederick Torres, they're carrying the Wäldereich diplomatic team to establish diplomacy toward the countries of the western civilization.
Captain Torres sat on his bed and held a photograph, he was staring at the photo of a redheaded woman who was wearing a red-colored pirate captain's suit, a bicorne hat, an eyepatch with a heart-shaped emblem in both of her eyepatch, and her hat. It was his wife, Hoshino Marina during their first honeymoon at the Marine Festival in Hoffnung
"ahh, Marina" he groaned as he was trying to relieve himself, suddenly he heard someone knocking on the door, he put the photo in his pocket and tidied up before opening the door, he opened the door and revealed a Wäldereich ambassador, Dallas Hackenberg, who was holding a two cup of coffee
"Would you like to let me enter your room, Captain?"
"Yeah, sure"
Hackenberg then put a coffee on the table and sat on the chair, meanwhile Torres sat on his bed.
"So, why are you coming to my room, Dallas?"
"Well, just complaining about this deployment, why are they sending a submarine instead of sending the entire fleet group?"
Torres let his small chuckles, "look Dallas, from my perspective, a gunboat diplomacy against the country that is protected by a superpower country would create an unwanted disaster, also we need to hide our true capability"
"Is it okay, what if they refuse to meet us?" asked Dallas
Torres then answered "Submarine is a huge technological feast, I bet they wouldn't refuse to meet us, also Tirpitz Fleet Group just 200 miles away from our position, you shouldn't worrying much about it, ambassador"
After some chit-chat between the ambassador and the captain, Dallas left the room followed by captain Torres, several hours later the sky is clear from the storm, and AU-5's periscope raised to check the surface, and they spotted a metallic ship sailing toward the same destination as them
"Captain, we're already analyzing the ship, it seems that the ship matches with the Leiford's ship"
However, Torres just sitting on his chair and reading the novel titled "The Ten Million Salvation", seemingly ignoring his crew, he focused on the book and flipped the page after finished reading that page
"Umm, captain?"
"Follow that ship and stay close" answer Torres without letting his focus out from his book
The AU-5 sneakily follow the unknown Leifordian ship, few hours later, they arrived at the Pagandan port, the ship just docked, and the AU-5 was surfacing near the unknown Leifordian ship, this surprised the sailors of the Leifordian ship and the sailors of the ship began to crowding the port side of the deck
"What, how could we be followed by a submarine?"
"Do you think that's Murin's newest submarine?"
"There isn't any gun on that huge submarine, I don't think it's the Murin submarine"
The AU-5's hatch was opened and a Wälderian sailor emerged from the hatch and waved his hand, then more wälderian sailors emerged. Meanwhile, on the Leifordian ship LNS Tremendous, the situation among the sailors was mixed with curiosity and fear, that's until the captain of the ship walked toward them
"What in the Oceanilt is going on?"
"Captain, there's a submarine that follows us here, what should we do?"
the captain glanced toward the Wäldereich submarine, his eyebrows were raised upon seeing the size of the submarine much longer than any submarines he had ever seen
"Alright you lazy seadogs, give out your hands to help them"
"But, are you sure, aren't they hostile?"
"If they're hostile, they've already sunk this ship. Now get going or I'll toss you overboard"
The Leifordian sailors began to help Wälderian sailors by sending several boats, soon the Wälderian diplomats were able to reach ashore

After the incident yesterday, the citizens returned to their activity. Meanwhile, the AU-5 returned to dive to avoid unnecessary attention. Meanwhile inside the meeting room, there are Wälderian diplomats Dallas Hackenberg and Cecil Ostwind, Leiford foreign minister Fabien Arzthel, the Pagandan king Edmund Clovis XI, and the king's advisor Tanguy. "Enough Tanguy. We're truly sorry for this mess, we need time to talk about it" said Clovis XI while he tried to calm down his advisor and dragged him outside
"Can't believe our government made a treaty with this country of jesters," commented Fabien. He turned around to face the Wälderian diplomats "Say, Mr. Dallas. Why did your country decide to send a submarine? I'm not doubting your country's prowess, but why not the entire fleet?"
Dallas grinned "Unfortunately, my government didn't give us much information, although, from the submarine captain's perspective, our country didn't want to declare a war on the unknown countries"
Fabien nodded as he was satisfied with Dallas's answer. Meanwhile, king Clovis XI and his advisor had a debate about the meeting
"But your majesty, they're just a barbarian from outside civilization"
"Enough Tanguy, there's also a minister from Leiford who is currently present in the meeting. If he knows that we killed a diplomat, he would report it to Leiford, and they'll dissolve the protection treaty with Leiford. The worst case is we would under war against the Wäldereich without any support from foreign countries"
Tanguy sighed "you're right your majesty, I'll try to constraint myself"
Both of them returned to the meeting room, Clovis XI began to say "So, an envoy of Wäldereich, what are your demands then?"
Cecil began to read the content of his paper "removal of slaves tribute because we didn't use any slavery, removal of gold tribute, reduce the tariff of our products to 3/10 per our product's prices, and about the technological transfer, we would discuss it further with the Leifordian government"
Both the king and his advisor were thinking of the Wälderian demand. Meanwhile, Fabien thought about the Wäldereich, "they able to create that huge submarine without slaves or any forced labor, even Mirishial dispatching their slaves and forced labors just to build their warship, just how powerful their country is"
King Clovis XI sighed, "Alright envoy of the Wäldereich, we agree with your demand, I hope we're being blessed by Oeconor"
A few minutes later, the Wälderian diplomats left the room followed by Fabien, leaving both the king and his advisor
"Your majesty, you've made a terrible mistake in allowing those barbarians to trade freely"
"So what? You want this country to be dumped by Leiford because they didn't accept the original offer?"
"But your majesty, think about the integrity of our country"
King Clovis XI raised his voice "You talk about the integrity when our country is under protection from Leiford, have you forgotten that Leiford is the one that prevents us to upgrade our technology"
Tanguy backed down, unable to say any word after hearing his king ranting about the previous treaty between Paganda and Leiford. Deep inside, he hid his hatred toward King Clovis XI

The sun shone above the capital after the heavy rain last night, and the demonstration below gradually became smaller than before. Still, the situation didn't return like the previous transfer.
