Grace was turning six months in a week so Ben and I decided to finish her room and start to put her sleeping in her own room for her to get used to it as soon as she can. Since my parents got in London, we decided to leave Grace with them in my apartment as Ben and I were finishing her room.
Since we made her room before we know what gender our baby will be room is in neutral light colours which I totally adore. I never wanted to put my baby's room in any colour until she will enough be old to choose her own favourite colour for room. I was putting some toys on shelf on open wardrobe that we set up way before Grace was born.
"I think that's it" Ben said running fingers through his hair as he looked at me
"I think so" I said standing beside him and looking at our baby's room
There were letters lights above nursery that were saying Grace Rose opposite nursery on wall was wardrobe already filled with Grace's clothes and shoes that were so small and Ben was adoring them. Beside nursery was chair beside which were shelfs with some baby books.
"I like this the most" Ben said taking little blue air forces and Grace's Chelsea shirt from wardrobe that had number 21 and daddy on back
"of course, you do" I laughed and got closer to him
He put shirt and shoes back on its place wrapping his arms around my waist.
"One day this is going to be room for two" he said looking at me as I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck
"You think so?" I asked
"I don't think.... I'm sure" he said and kissed me
"um" I mumbled onto his lips pulling back while smile was on my face "No need to start right away, we have honeymoon planned for next summer if you forgot" I said as he just pulled me closer if that was possible
"I didn't forget, but it won't be bad if you come back from honeymoon pregnant" he said, and I laughed punching his chest playfully
"Stop being horny ass" I said trying to get away from his arms, but he pulled me by waist back to him
"I really miss you" he said with those pleasing eyes
"We have to pick up our baby" I said leaving him in Grace's room
The truth was, I was missing him too, but I'm not planning on doing it with little baby in the same house. Yeah, Grace wasn't here now, but I couldn't do it today.
"Are you coming?" I shouted from living room as I heard him exhaling unsatisfied as he was walking downstairs
"you're not fair" he said pointing to me and acting like a little baby, what he always is, little baby in soul
I just smiled and walked towards hallway about to put my sneakers on when he pulled me by waist and pressing me against wall.
"please" he whispered
"Please what?" I laughed
"Let me have you" he said
"You always have me" I said, and he rolled his eyes
"You know what I mean" he said leaning closer to me
"We have to pick up Grace" I said
"You don't want me anymore, is that?" he asked as I looked confused at him
"If I refuse you once doesn't mean I don't want you anymore" I said
"I haven't touched you for a year Ela, I'm a man, I have needs as you do so, even you can get along with it easily, but I can't" he said stepping back from me
"I'm on my period Ben" I said looking at him a bit disappointed
He was always understanding me, never pushed me to something I didn't want to do, never made me have sex with him when I didn't want to but now it kind of changed. I know he is a man, that he has needs and that we haven't done anything for a year, but he must understand that I am not always available when he needs me. He exhaled leaning his head back and running his fingers through his hair.
"I'm sorry" he said cupping my face and leaning his forehead against mine "We don't have to do anything, I'm sorry" he said as I put my hands on his cheeks
"I miss you too, but I can't do it while Grace is around" I said as he nodded
"I got it, I'm sorry for acting like that" he said, and I smiled lightly
"it's okay" I said and kissed the corner of his lips
"Proper one" he said pointing to his lips when I pulled away from him
I smiled cupping his face and kissing him on lips.
"Now we can go" he said and took me by hand taking car keys
