It was all my fault, if only I was stronger I would have been able to help. I promised but yet again my promises are just empty words, words that I can no longer take action on. They didn't deserve any of this but of course, my foolish actions caused this, why do I hold them back? All I have ever wanted is to care for people. It should have been me, I should be holding their pain not them.
"Don't worry Sakura, he is slowly progressing," I muttered trying to ease her worry, the two of them were laying down with a wet rag on their forehead. Sakura was attending Naruto who was now healed as my attention went to the raven-haired boy trying to find some way to get rid of that mark, letting out a painful groan I could only try to reduce the pain but only for a few minutes, what sort of Jutsu did he use? How can he be this powerful! "Sakura, go ahead and rest. I'll take care of these two,"
"No! I'm not tired," She mumbled fluttering her eyes open trying not to fall into deep sleep, her eyes were now focused on Sasuke waiting for him to finally wake up. Crawling towards her I finally folded a blanket I had in my backpack and laid her head on the 'pillow' making her shuffle around trying to deny, "Sakura you're overworking yourself! You'll collapse if you don't rest," I said in a worried tone watching her stay still and wonder her eyes around knowing I was right, lowering my face now being inches away I smiled at her and started healing the wounds on her face "Y/N..." She whispered looking at me through her long lashes, my long hair ticked her delicate pale skin feeling some comfort from this knowing somebody was here caring for her, "Rest." Just like that Sakura was now sleeping peacefully next to Sasuke.
Moving back towards Naruto I checked his temperature which was slightly high but not by much, spotting a piece of hair on his face I leaned in to move it out of the way, staying a few inches away from him caressing his hair while smiling at his figure. Naruto, the man I have liked for a long time- ever since you've flashed me that smile I couldn't deny I had fallen for you. Although you don't seem to think of me that way. Moving towards Sasuke my heart only dropped at the sight, sweat fell from the side of his face dripping to the ground wincing every now and then from the mark, Itachi what made you kill your family. If only you were still with us you would know what to do, Sasuke is in big trouble you know and I believe you're the only one that can save him. Grabbing a dry rag I started cleaning his face admiring how peaceful he looked, the only time you're not being an idiot is when you're sleeping.
Getting up I went outside our little cave not sensing anybody near I started placing traps in case of any invasion, feeling satisfied with the outcome I went ahead to look for any Basil. Looking up I noticed the gloomy night twinkle with the glimmer of the stars, smiling at the sky I failed to notice a string of sand attaching to my leg hearing a few leafs crunching I turned around to be met with two elegant teal eyes, "Gaara...?" I called out his name remembering the information Kabuto gave us about him which made me shiver, he looked at me with no sudden interest and brought his hands up making sand wrap around my body halting my movement while trying not to look frightened "Tell me your name," he spoke out demanding for my name, no words could come out of my mouth as it only made him get more furious and began to tighten my body, "Y-Y/N Hyuga" I choked out grunting from the pain I felt on my chest. "You're lucky I don't desire to kill you right now, but the next time I see you. It won't end the same way," Letting go of me he started walking away not sparing a glance at me, my breathing hitched as I began running back to the hideout with some Basil on my hands.

I need to gather some food for us, standing up I grabbed a notebook ripping the paper out of it, and continued writing a note for Sakura, when she wakes up, picking up my equipment I went ahead to search for any type of edible food. I'm so tired.
I can't find any food! Looking around I noticed some mangos hanging on a tree, smiling slightly at this I went ahead and grabbed some putting them in a wooden basket I made, I need to find more things this alone won't be enough. Light reflected on my face I was now raising my head staring at the beautiful sun shining down on me, it's dawn already?

I think this should be enough, I hope you're safe sakura. Rushing back towards Sakura I had now heard a scream from that direction, don't tell me... Hurrying back I landed on a branch being met with Sakura all bruised up while two others were behind the man that causes this, how dare you lay a finger on her.
He was inching closer to her making me land in front of Sakura, with a ticked-off expression visible on my face I began to speak up "What the hell do you think you're doing!" With that their attention was now on me balling my fists up I took out a few needles and started throwing it at our opponents with some digging under their skin "I can't move!" A smirk was plastered on my face hearing them complain now forming hand signs three shadow clones stood beside me "Heal everybody even Ino's team!" With that, they charged toward them. Running towards the only girl in the group I had now kicked the side of her face making her hit a tree, I'm glad I was able to paralyze them just for a few seconds.
Running towards me was a man with many bandages on his face, trying to hit me I was able to dodge all of his attacks pretending to punch him square in the stomach he was too caught up with that action he didn't notice I was now behind him punching his blind spot, throwing him a few feet away. My attention was now on the man with the spiky hair raising his eyes he started sending me a sound wave that was supposed to push me away although he seemed to notice my chakra flowing through the sole of my shoe making it impossible for me to get pushed back, that only made him increase the sound making my ears bleed but that didn't stop me, I was too focused on getting done with him I didn't notice my eardrums getting damaged by this, being in front of him I was now able to push him back from the gust of wind my fists created. My breathing started feeling heavy, slightly wincing as a kunai was sunk on my back, no I need to get rid of them or we'll die! Looking back I noticed all my clones were finished healing them forming a smile on my lips, two hands were placed beside my ears as I was now left to shiver beneath the touch- "Did you think I would let you get away with all this?" A wicked smile was forming on his face, I fell to the ground now that my legs have given up and looked back at him with blood falling from my head "You won't be able to hear for a while," With that, he had now activated his sound wave making it shoot directly towards my ears, I started shaking from the high pitched noise playing inside my ear, I soon let out my own high pitched scream from all the pain I felt as my eardrums got even more damaged than they were before, tears fell down my cheek as I was screaming for mercy...it hurts so much please somebody help me! I can't do it anymore.
Letting go of me I fell on the cold floor-shaking traumatized, still being able to hear the screeches in my head. Lifting my hand I went to touch my ear feeling the warm liquid gliding on my fingertips bringing my hand towards my face I noticed all the blood dripping towards the floor, once again looking back at Sakura she was still screaming trying to get my attention but I couldn't hear the words coming out of her mouth, I looked back at her hopeless while my eyes started to lose the sparkle they always had. Well that was what the others saw. I couldn't move, my whole head feels like it's gonna explode.
Y/N! No. They were all staring as their faces have now paled at the scenery in front of them, no they couldn't believe it. Their last hope was defeated without mercy suffering the worst outcome than all of them, who would have thought...even Neji felt a little pity. All of them did, but none of them stood up to help the poor girl as they were now frightened.
Footsteps were heard coming closer towards the young girl on the floor, looking up she saw Sasuke's figure in front of her covered with marks all over his body, he looked down at her with no emotion other than the one he always had "Who did this." He questioned Y/N, wanting to hear the answer from her now that she was the one harmed, but all he heard was silence. She was confused- she didn't know what to say knowing damn well she couldn't hear the words vibrating off of his tongue "Sasuke, Y/N...can't hear you," Sakura muttered with fear while his eyes directed towards her form for a second, looking back at the shaking girl below he kneeled down getting a better look at her form noticing a puddle of blood below her. "Who did this Sakura, point out the one who caused this."
"It was me."
Anger was swelled up inside of him seeing the wicked smile on his face, he wasn't the same Sasuke. No, he had turned into a killing machine not caring who he harmed along the way. He wanted more power and revenge, that power surging through his body only made him more confident not daring to halt not even for a second, Brocken bones, to screams, fear it all made him smile knowing he was hurting the ones who made this mess. "You take such pride in your arms, time to bid them farewell," He chucked watching him scream for mercy just the sight of it made him itch for more, he forgot soon who exactly he was and started going forward towards the last enemy, "and then there was one." Shifting his feet closer he was stopped by a certain pink-haired girl, "STOP IT! PLEASE STOP!" She started sobbing behind him hugging the boy from behind, his rage started disappearing until he looked back at the young girl on the floor...he cared about Sakura he did- but he wouldn't be satisfied until Y/N also halted his actions, he wanted to hear her say it.
Sasuke wanted to see if she wanted revenge or not and if she did he would gladly do it for her. Continuing his steps he heard feet shuffling, turning back he noticed she was already back on her feet shaking "Quit it Sasuke!" Hearing her harsh tone he knew she didn't desire it as much as he did, making him go back to his original form with the marks disappearing without a trace.
Her feet started feeling wobbly once more causing her to fall, well she was designated to until Lee caught her figure, grabbing onto the girl he started setting her down gently on the floor "Thank you, Lee." she manage to speak out still not being able to hear he did something that surprised her 'Of course, I'll also keep you safe. You've earned my respects' Lee learned sign language in case of any emergency like this one, the young Hyuga sat in front of Lee stunned "I appreciate it," She said understanding him with a small smile visible on her face, she is truly astonishing even after going through all that she still manages to smile. Lee leaned forward to warm her up in his embrace.
N: "HEY WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING BUSHY BROW!"
"DON'T YOU TALK TO LEE LIKE THAT" Sakura punched his cheek causing him to fly, earning a chuckle from me which wasn't a good idea seeming to make my stomach ache from the pressure. Sakura was in front of us and directed her glance at Lee "Lee, thank you so much. You've helped my skills reach a whole new level," Letting go of my figure he directed his look towards Sakura still grabbing my back making sure I wouldn't fall back, "I am not worthy! Sasuke scared them off, it seems so natural that a member of the Uchiha can pull off that, they just beat me senseless."
"He wasn't the only one helping, Y/N was also a huge help!" Lee declared smiling at me, staring at him I just smiled back not knowing what he said but knowing it was something positive.
"Y/N are you ok?" Naruto was now standing before me checking my injuries holding an uneasy expression, looking at Lee he began translating what Naruto said making me hum in delight. "I've never been better Naruto!" That was a lie.
