Rosalie sat besides the sleeping boy who was holding onto her like koala to a tree branch. She smiled down at him and stroked his hair, to her suprise instead of whining at her cold touch he smiled.
In all honesty Rosalie was scared. Not just scared but terrified. She worried of what this meant for her family. Would the Voltori come for them? What happens when he gets older and falls for someone who can actually give him a family?
Her thoughts were cut short as Kai stirred in his sleep.
"Rosalie" he whispered in his sleep "Don't leave me"
She smiles and kisses his forehead "Never"
The remainder of the night Rosalie sat watching him sleep or occasional her eyes would drift off onto the photos pasted onto the walls. She loved the images that captured all his adventures. One caught her eye, it was in the far left almost hidden beneath the others around it. Rosalie was unable to see the full image and when she tried to loosen herself from his grip he mumbled a no and pulled her closer.
Once morning hit Kai's eyes fluttered open. He wondered if the content of the night before was just a dream.
"Morning sunshine" a beautiful voice said
He looked up and smiled brightly at the blonde, his eyes then widened as he let go go the grip he had on her.
"Sorry" he mumbles and she just shrugged "You stayed?" he added
"Well, you refused to let me go" she teased, his cheek turned red
"So-sorry" he said again
"Don't be" she assured "You better get ready before you're late" she says
He sits up and looks at the time
"Why didn't you wake me sooner?" he questions
She smiles "You looked peaceful"
He stands off the bed and glances at her "I'll be right back" he tells her
"Don't leave me waiting" she teases
"Never" he smiles before grabbing what her needed and heading off to the bathroom.
Kai took a quick shower and got dressed quickly as he couldn't wait to be with his blonde vampire again.
Once finishing her walked back into the room and glanced at the blonde who was looking at the picture in the corner.
"Her names Mandy" he said getting her attention "She was- she was someone i cared for deeply" he smiled sadly
"What happened?" she asked staring at him curiously
"Car crash" he closed his eyes
"I'm sorry" she muttered
"It's not you're fault" he opened his eyes and smiled at her.
Kai took a step closer to her and she held her breath
"Can i kiss you?" he hesitatingly asks,the blonde nods and he leans down.
Their lips collided and it felt the same as it did the night before. Just as passionate and spark igniting. Their lips molded together perfectly. Sooner than either wished the kiss ended and Kai's breathing was heavy
"That was.."
"Amazing" she finished, he rubs his thumb over her cheek warming the cold skin
"You have no idea what you do to me" he whispered placing his forehead on her own
"Ditto" she wraps her arms around his neck and leans up touching their lips together again
"You left?" he mumbled glancing at her clothes
"Had too. What would the neighbors think?" she jokes
"We can't have that now can we?" he adds making her giggle
The two pulled away and their eyes locked
"I'll be back in ten minutes" she promises
"Don't leave me waiting" he repeats her words
"Never"
Rosalie left and Kai walked downstairs to eat breakfast. He quickly made himself cereal and ate fast.
"We're leaving in five" Bella says
"I'm- i've actually already got a ride" he said getting an amused look from Bella
"Really? Who?"
"Rosalie" he blushes
"So you two are past whatever was going on before?" she asks
"Yep" he nods stuffing his face. A honk his heard and he stand quickly
"See you later Bells" he kisses her head and runs out
Getting to the car he sees the blonde waiting standing against her car.
"Hey" she grins
"Hey, beautiful" he's cheeks turn red and she chuckles
"You truly are something" she teases
"But i'm yours" he said, he then rubs the back of his neck nervously "I'm sorry, i'm just assuming things"
She giggles shaking her head "Kai, are you asking me to be your girlfriend in some weird nerdy way?" she teases
His cheeks turn brighter than she thought possible
"Will you? Be my girlfriend i mean?" he asks nervously
"I'd be honored" she brings his closer my the collar on his jacket at smashed their lips together
Once they pull apart he smiles
"You're officially mine" he cheers
Rosalie laughs and pecks his lips "Let's go, Malachai" she says
Kai smiles at her running around to the drivers seat as she gives him a confused looked. He opens the door and motions for her to get in.
"M'lady" he says in a fake british accent
"Thank you, kind sir" she gets in and he closes the door, he runs to his side and climbs in.
"Hi" he mumbles to her again
"Hi" she chuckles
Rosalie starts the car and speed off to the school.
Getting to the school everyone gawked at them as they parked
"This is weird" he mutters
"Just ignore them" she says
"Mmm"
The two climb out of the car and people stared at them like foreign creatures. Kai rolled his eyes. He interlaced their fingers.
Kai's eyes locked on Tracy's who surprisingly has a smile and nodded at him. He gave her a confused look to which she giggled.
He made a mental note to find out about that later.
Kai walked Rosalie to her class pecking her cheek and promising to meet her after.
Kai did as promised and every period that ended be met his girlfriend and walked her to class.
Lunch arrived and Kai met Rosalie before the two walked to the cafeteria. Kai saw Tracy standing to talk to him
"Rosalie, i'll be back in a sec" he kissed her cheek
"Meet me at our spot" he nodded and walked off
He found Tracy in the halls waiting for him.
"Tracy, i'm sorry." he said
The redhead shook her head "Don't be" she assured "I knew what i was doing from the start." he gave her a confused look
"Kai, you and Rosalie are meant to be. True love and all that" she waves her hand
"I just gave a little push in the form of jealousy"
"How exactly do you know where soulmates?" he asks
"I never said soulmates you did. Kai i know more than you'd think" he gives her a confused look to which she sighs "Kai, you're girlfriend is a vampire and you can't look at me like i'm crazy here i state facts"
His eyes widen "How-"
"Please, i know a lot" she waves her hand "Kai, i'm also something. Not a vampire per say but something" he nods
"That's- that's- Wow" he blinked
"Yeah. Now go find your girl" he smiles at her as she kissed his cheek
"Oh, Tracy" she looked at him "I'm still taking you to the dance." she looked at him confused
"What about Rosalie?"
"I plan to have two beautiful ladies on my arm that night" he smiles
"Pick me up at 7" she says
"I remember" he assures.
