"We went through a lot of things so far and I know how hard was for you to open up to me for the first time and I don't want you to go through those things alone again, because now I'm here and you can talk to me about everything not feeling that I will judge you for anything because I won't, I will be beside you and..... I just don't want you keep anything inside of you while you have me" I said holding my tears
"you're the first person who find for my past, you're the only person who knows absolutely everything about me. You're the first person I fully opened to, and you have no idea how hard it was, you still didn't judge me, you stayed beside me. It made me feel special when you opened to me because I know how much you must believe someone so you can open up to that person. That's why I accepted this ring, that's why I'm already promising you to love you until death" I said as few tears left my eyes
"don't cry, please" he whispered cupping my face "I don't want you to feel that way, please Ela" he whispered leaning his forehead against mine
"This is all new to me and I'm just getting used to it that's why I'm acting weird...I'm sorry" he said as I closed my eyes
"we'll be get used to it together, just talk to me if anything is wrong" I said and I felt him nodding against my forehead
A WEEK LATER
I woke up beside me a week-old baby girl and I couldn't help but smile in the same second.
"Good morning little one" I whispered touching her hand lightly
My eyes flew to Ben's side of bed that was empty. I took deep breath and look back at Grace whose eyes just started to close as groan left her little mouth. I looked at clock and it was 9am, I thought it was earlier, but clearly Grace woke up later than I thought.
"Hey princess" I said at her gently kissing her forehead
"Are we going to wake up?" I asked slowly and carefully taking her in my arms and putting her on the middle of bed
I stood up taking first piece of her clothes that came under my hand and I dressed her up in light blue t-shirt and tracksuit.
"let's go baby girl" I said and took her in my hands after getting ready for day
I walked downstairs and at the end of the stairs was Oscar already waiting for me to give him food. I looked at his food bowls, but they were full.
I walked towards kitchen and there was breakfast waiting for me. Next to tray with breakfast was a piece of paper and the bouquet of flowers.
I had to leave earlier but I'll be home sooner than you think ;) I hope you and Grace will have nice morning. Happy birthday my love
It was written on the paper, and I just smiled sitting on the chair and first feeding Grace and slowly eating the breakfast Ben made me.
It was about 12pm when Ben got home. He walked towards me in the living room as Grace was sleeping on the couch beside me.
"Happy birthday my love" he whispered leaning closer to me kissing me
"Thank you" I whispered back smiling at him
"here" he said and gave me a little box
"what's that?" I asked confused
"Open it" he said
I opened box and there were two identical white gold necklaces, one smaller and one bigger.
"I want you and Grace to wear this on our wedding day" he said, and I left speechless
"This is so beautiful" I said taking one necklace out of box, it had a little angel on it and when I turned it around there were little engraved E&G&B and underneath that was 2024
"You want to tell that we still going to marry this year?" I asked and looked up at him
"If you want to" he said, and I just hugged him tightly
"It will be hard with this few-months-old little one, but we can make it up" I said looking at him
"It would be just more special" he said and smiled at me as his eyes sparkled
"Yes, it definitely would" I said and kissed him on the flash before Grace started crying
"Oh, come on little one" I said taking her in my arms
"I will make us something for lunch" Ben said kissing both of our foreheads and then he left walking towards kitchen leaving me to feed Grace in peace
