I wake up in an unfamiliar place. My eyebrows furrow as I sit up, but I'm stopped by a hand around my waist. I freeze.

The events from a few hours prior come back in flashes. Skin, lips, sighs.

I shut my eyes tight before I slowly grab Clarke's arm and gently lift it off of me and slip out of the bed. I slip on my clothes that were astray and exit the tent to find Lexa standing directly in front of me.

"Sleep well?" She asks, her face blank.

I raise an eyebrow. "What time is it?"

Her eyes narrow slightly before she glances at the sun. "Around 6:30."

I nod to myself before I glance up at the fence that my people had been gathered at but only to find them all gone. "How long were we out?"

"Two and a half hours." She answers before nodding to me and entering the tent.

I sigh as I watch her go. "And I thought I was bad at goodbyes." I mutter to myself before I walk up to the camp. After a few minute's walk, I arrive at the gates. My face is stone cold as I hear the guards yell that I'm back and the gates open.

"Hailey." I hear Murphy speak. I glance up and find his lips twisted in a frown. He doesn't say anything before he wraps his arm around me and walks me into the Ark. I direct him to mine and Bellamy's room but he stops when he realises it's empty. "Do you want me to go get him?" He asks, but I shake my head.

"No," I whisper, walking over and sitting on the bed. "I did something bad." I say.

Murphy sighs and sits down. "We're the most hated people in this camp, so," He smirks. "Try me."

I glance up at him and just decide to blurt it out. "I slept with Clarke."

He blinks a couple times. "And...?" He trails off. "That's it?" He furrows his eyebrows. "What's wrong with that?"

I shake my head. "Nothing, I just feel weird now." I sigh, raking my hands through my hair.

He tilts his head. "What do you mean?"

"Like...I," I trail off. "I don't know, like I cheated on Bellamy somehow." I sigh, hanging my head.

"Well, you're not exclusive, are you?" He asks. I shake my head. "Well, then you didn't cheat."

I fall back against the bed. "Should I tell him?" I ask.

He hums, but doesn't respond and instead walks over to the bed and sit down. "Considering that he and Raven," He pauses and lifts his eyebrows dramatically. "I think this makes you even."

"You think so?" I ask, looking at him.

"I definitely do not know so."

"Now that we have our alliance," Clarke says, her eyes dancing over Bellamy, Raven, Murphy and I. "We can plan for Mount Weather."

I nod my head and reach for my walkie. "Marcus Kane and Chancellor Griffen, come to the counsel room." I say before putting it back into my pocket. "So, what's our plan, Blondie?" I ask, leaning on the table.

She sighs before looking down. "I don't know, the only way that I can think of is with an inside man, but I'm not doing that." She shakes her head.

"What if that's the only way?" I ask, crossing my arms and standing up straight.

She shakes her head. "Still no." She stares at me for a second. "No, I know what you're thinking Hailey." She shakes her head before walking around the table to stand in front of me. "The answer is no, you are not going into Mount Weather. That's final."

"What's final?" My dad asks as he walks into the room.

We pause, staring at him. Bellamy answers, "Hailey wants to be the inside person to take down Mount Weather." He says, his hands on his hips.

For the first time in my entire lift, my dad looks at me with a look of worry and compassion. "Why?"He asks, crossing his arms.

I search for a sensible reply in my head, but come up empty. "I...I just need to." I say, before ice fills my veins. "I need to talk to you." I say, grabbing my dad's arm and pulling him around the corridor, leaving Abby and the others staring at me.

Once we get around the corner, we stop and he looks at me expectantly.

I swallow. "Riv's alive." I say, breathing out the words.

His lips part before a smile fills his face. "Really?" He asks, laughing.

My heart breaks a little. "Yeah, she's with the grounders." I say, my voice breaking from the stark difference between his lack of love for me versus Riv.

He takes a moment to collect himself before he says goodbye and walks to the entrance of the ark, presumably to go find his 'real' daughter in his eyes.

I scoff as he disappears from view before I turn and walk back into the council room.

"He's right, Clarke, we need an inside man." Raven says, backing up Bellamy.

I walk over and stand in between Clarke and Abby.

"I think that we should still consider other options." Abby says, setting her hands on the table.

"There are no other options." I say sighing. "So, to avoid any more conflict like this, I'll go."

"No, Hailey!" Bellamy yells, walking around the table to stand in front of me. "You are not going in there alone." He mumbles, his voice rough. He pauses before looking over at Abby. "If she goes, I go." He looks back at me and his eyes flicker between my lips and my eyes.

I take a step back from him, not wanting to get distracted.

"No," Clarke says, shaking her head. "No, i'm not losing either of you." She says, raising her voice before leaving the room.

Abby watches her go before she turns and looks at me. "Do you think you could do this?"

I pause a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I can."

"Then," she sighs. "We better get to planning."
