Josh's POV
I held Rhiannon was we watched tv in my room. She would fall asleep every now and again and then she'd wake up and we'd talk about everything but the situation at hand. I knew she was trying to push it off as long as possible. I didn't blame her, it could potentially change everything. I tried to be patient but the longer the day went on the more antsy I got. The sun was setting and the colors from the orange sky were peaking in through the window.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, her head was resting on my stomach, she turned to face me,
"Alright," She paused and I could tell she was thinking about something, "How many tests did you get?"
"5" I replied
"5!" She laughed, "Josh we only need like 2" I grinned,
"I just want to be really sure."
"You're crazy" She said as she slowly stood up. I watched her closely in case she was still dizzy. She had managed to drink her smoothie and then later on ate some toast. "Where are they?"
"You want to do it now?" I asked surprised, but trying to hide my excitement.
"I guess, might as well" She shrugged, "We have that work meeting tomorrow and I need to know before then, because it could change things." I nodded as I stood up, I walked into the bathroom and took them out of the paper bag,
"These were expensive, but they are supposed to be super accurate" I said as I held up the digital one I had gotten. She took it from my hand and took a deep breath as she looked at it.
"Thanks for getting them," She said as she started opening the box. She looked at me before shooing me out of the bathroom with her hand. I was kind of taken aback because she didn't want me to stay, but then I remembered who I was dealing with. She closed the door and I couldn't be still, I paced around the room. A few moments later she opened the door and nonchalantly walked past me and back over to the bed, getting under the covers and flipping through the channels. I looked at her confused
"What did it say?" I asked
"Oh, it takes a few minutes. I'll check it later." She said as her eyes remained on the tv. I was kind of annoyed at how she was acting but I knew this was just her way of processing because she was scared. I walked into the bathroom and stared at the test, the little loading symbol spinning on the screen. I began anxiously tapping my fingers on the counter as I waited. Then it happened, my mouth fell open as the word popped up on the screen. Pregnant. I felt a smile grow on my face as I covered my mouth. My heart had never beat this fast in my life. I took a few deep breaths, reeling in my emotions so I could tell her without seeming too excited. I opened the door and looked at her, she was beautiful, and she was pregnant with something that was part me, and part her. I felt tears starting to form in my eyes but I blinked them away,
"The results are up." I said as I peeked my head out of the bathroom door. She looked over to me with her 'I'm fine' face, but I could see right through it, she was terrified. "Do you want to see it now or would you like me to leave it in here."
"I can tell by the way you are looking at me," She said, her expression getting softer, "It's positive." I said nothing but nodded with a small smile, apparently I hadn't hidden my emotions well enough. I walked over and sat next to her, placing my hand on her thigh.
"What are you feeling right now?" I asked, thinking that her talking about it might help.
"I'm really not sure. At the moment I'm mostly feeling scared." She admitted, which I knew was hard for her.
"It's scary." I said as I wrapped my arms around her, "But what specifically is scaring you?"
"I know you didn't sign up for this, your career is just taking off. You haven't really seemed like this is something you want right now. Just the other day I asked if you wanted kids and you said not for a while. And it's just so soon I-" She started, but I interrupted,
"Rhiannon, I did say that. But things change, if having this baby is something you want, I want you to know I would be the happiest man in the world. If this isn't something you want right now, then I understand, it's not really my choice. I will support you fully in whatever you choose, and I'll continue to love you regardless of your choice." she started to sniffle as I held her close, "And as far as not seeming like this is something I want, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, I have been dialing back my excitement, I didn't want to sway your decision. I know you will put me first, and I want you to put you first." I said bluntly,
"Really?" She asked shyly, I nodded. "I think I am a little happy, just still in shock."
"I feel like thats a normal reaction," I said as I rubbed her back,
"holy shit, I'm pregnant." She said abruptly, causing me to giggle,
"Seems that way" I said as I kissed her temple,
"You promise this is something you want?" She asked looking up at me,
"I do, but only if it's whats best for you, and what you want."
"We're going to be parents..." She said as her eyes got wide,
"Does that mean..?" I asked, as I stared at her,
"I just know that I love you, I picture my whole future with you, and I may not ever get another chance to have a baby with my health. So yes, lets have a baby" she said through a nervous laugh. I felt tears come to my eyes and a smile spread across my face that made my cheeks hurt. Once she saw my expression tears came to her eyes as well. We wrapped our arms around each other and held each other tight,
"I love you so much," I said, the words getting caught in my throat,
"I love you more," she replied,
"Impossible." I said plainly, as she pulled away.
"I do have a favor to ask," She said as wiped the residual tears on my face, "Can we not tell anyone until we get it confirmed by a doctor?"
"Of course, I will keep quiet." I said as we snuggled close to each other in the bed, "Oh my god,"
"What?" She asked in a concerned tone,
"I'm going to be a dad.." I paused as she smiled at me, nodding softly, "And you'll be a milf" I laughed as she giggled and shoved me playfully. "I'm just saying, but in all seriousness, you are going to be the best mom." I said as I pulled her closer and kissed her deeply,

Rhiannon's POV
I sat on the bathroom floor as I waited for Josh to get back to the room. It was the day of the meeting with possibly a new label. I needed to get my nausea under control if I was going to hide the fact that I was pregnant. Josh suddenly came around the corner,
"I brought you some peppermint tea, apparently it's supposed to help a lot." He said as he handed me the glass. He was already being so attentive, and I knew he would be for the foreseeable future.
"Thank you babe." I said as I took it. I sipped on it and it did help. This was an important meeting and I was surprised I was asked to attend. I needed to dress nice according to the boys. I truly didn't feel like leaving the bed, let alone doing my hair and makeup and putting on real clothes. I sat on the bathroom counter and got ready. Once everyone was ready we all piled into the car.
"Is your head feeling better today Rhiannon?" Danny asked sweetly as he turned to look at me,
"Uh yeah, it feels alright. Thanks for asking" I replied, He smiled and nodded. I looked over to Josh who had a small smirk on his face as he grabbed my hand. We drove a while to the meeting and then rode the elevator up to a high floor, then being directed to a room with a big table. The boys manager was already in there waiting when we arrived. They all told him hi and quickly discussed some things quietly before 2 more men entered the room. I sat back and listened to the meeting as they discussed a new record deal, and the boys accepted. They all signed papers before shaking hands as the two men left.
"Now Rhiannon, the boys have made it very clear that they would like to keep you as their designer. Are you willing to relocate to Nashville with them as well?" the manager said,
"I'm sorry, Nashville?" I asked. I had zoned out a few times during the meeting, trying to focus on keeping my nausea under control. "I must have missed that," I looked over to Josh who was looking at me with expectant eyes.
"Yes, Nashville. That is where the boys will be recording. They all agreed to move there to be closer," He said. I looked around as all the boys looked at me, waiting for my answer.
"I will." I said without a second thought. He then handed over papers for me to sign. I quickly read over them. It was a pretty standard contract, so I signed it. "Excuse me" I said as I quickly got up and walked out of the room. I walked down the hallway and found a bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror and started fanning myself. My face was hot and I could feel my breathing picking up. I heard a knock at the door
"Someone's in here" I managed through my ragged breathes,
"It's me," I heard Josh say. I reached over and unlocked the door. He immediately walked over and pulled me close,
"Take some deep breaths" He said as he held me, I nodded and tried to focus on my breathing.
"So much is changing at one time" I said as I felt tears start to fall.
"It is a lot." He said as he pulled away and lifted my chin, "But I promise to be here through all of it. What do you say we just take it one day at a time? Baby steps. No pun intended." He smiled. I rolled my eyes and felt a small laugh leave my lips,
"That sounds like a good plan" I said as I put my head on his shoulder. "And oh my gosh, Congratulations" I said as I pulled away, looking at him, "I'm so proud of you." A beaming smile spread across his face and a shade of pink covered his cheeks.
"Thank you," He said softly, kissing the tip of my nose.
"I guess we should probably go find the rest of the guys huh?" I asked
"Probably, lets get you home, I saw you drifting off during the meeting" He grinned at me as he opened the door, holding it open for me. "You can use me as a pillow in the car if I get to pick the movie we watch tonight"
"Deal" I said as I took his hand. He smiled down at me and kissed my forehead.
