*In the morning*
I woke up to my alarm clock going off.
I turned it off and I realized it was quiet so I covered my head in my blanket and I got comfortable so I could sleep in.
Because I felt like it.
Then all of a sudden Chris comes running in and he jumps and lands on the bed.
"Sweetie! Guess what?"
He slowly pulls the blanket away from my face and he smiled at me.
"What?" I asked tiredly.
"I love you so much."
I smiled and I sat up and I hugged him, and he happily gave me one too.
"I love you too." I said tiredly.
He chuckled softly.
"C'mon, I made breakfast." He tried picking me up.
"No, I want to sleep." I weakly pushed my tired body away from him.
He chuckled.
"Alright, alright, you can sleep in."
"If you want to be late for your job."
"I don't have a job."
"Yes it is, it's called "Eating breakfast," Now get up."
He picked me up and took me away from my warm bed.
"Nooooo, put me back." I whined.
"I want to sleeeeepp, ugh, put me back."
"No."
"Ugh, whatever." I went limp in his arms, and I closed my eyes.
He chuckled at me.
He put me on the couch.
I heard the fast footsteps of Scarlett's feet.
"Mama!"
I sighed heavily.
"Mommy?" She asked, patting my face with her small hand.
"Yes, baby?" I asked tiredly.
"Why are you so tired all the time?"
"I had a late night last night, your father woke me up in the middle of the night."
"No, I didn't!"
"You woke mommy up in the middle of the night?"
He smiled "Yeah, I guess."
"Why did you do that?"
"I was bored, and I wanted someone to talk to."
"That didn't mean you had to wake mommy up."
I smiled "That's my girl."
I sigh tiredly.
"Why did you have to wake me up?"
"Because it's morning time."
I smiled as Chris bent down to give me a kiss.
"I hate you." I giggled.
"I love you too."
Our lips connected, and I kissed him tiredly.
He pulled away "C'mon honey, I'll help you make breakfast."
"That implies that I'm supposed to be making breakfast." I smirked.
"Well if you want me to be honest," He muttered "I don't know how to cook bacon."
I sat up, suddenly awake, my voice was filled with amusement, "That is such a lie!"
I picked up Scarlett "Has daddy cooked bacon for you before?"
She nodded.
I looked at Chris "So you're a liar."
"Yeah! You're a liar daddy!" Scarlett agreed with me.
"I didn't finish."
"Then finish." I said to him.
"I don't know how to cook it to your liking."
"Well, you've done it several times, I'm sure you can cook bacon."
"I'm going to dress Scarlett and take her outside after breakfast."
"You wanna go outside? Huh?" I asked, running my finger lightly against her cheek, making her squirm and giggle.
"Yeah, momma I wanna go outside after breakfast! I wanna run around the house."
"Alright then, let's go get dressed." I smiled at her before I set her down.
She immediately ran to her room to change out of her pjs.
