~Dave's POV~
We were all looking at Rylan, he said he was doing alright but we always gotta make sure. He looked so tired and skinny, has he been eating? I felt Kurt squeeze my hand gently. I leaned against him, Rylan spoke, "Haven't seen you guys at the bridge for a couple months." He chuckled, Krist looked at him confused "What do you mean?" Rylan shrugged, I realized what he meant "You've been living there for the past couple of months?" He nodded "What do you eat?" "I'd buy stuff from the gas station but um..I don't have any money..I ran out like a week ago." I looked at Kurt worried, Kurt grabbed a candy bar and threw it at Rylan. It hit him in the forehead.
"Ow! Fuck!" Rylan flinched rubbing his forehead "Thanks for the food, but ow!" Something's off. I'm sure of it. Nobody said anything as Rylan ate the candy bar. Rylan scratched his head "Thanks." Kurt nodded, "What's that on your forehead?" I saw Rylan tense up "Nothing. It's nothing." Krist sat by him and reached to move his hair out of the way, Rylan flinched, nearly smacking Krist's hand. Kurt and I sat down by him. This kid can't have one moment of peace from anything, can he?
