I decided that I should call my gynecologist Dr.Luther and schedule appointment to see if I'm pregnant.
"Dr.luther's office how may I help you" a feminine voice said over the phone.
"Hi I would like to schedule and appointment with Dr.luther"
"Ah let me check to see if she has any opening" (10 minutes later)
"Okay she has and opening today at two Alcock and another opening February 13th at Eight alock"

I sigh and fall back on the couch after ending the call. Thinking about how I'm going to tell Skylar that I'm pregnant with her fucking baby if I am even pregnant that is. I check the time to see it's only 1:30 so I get up and go to kitchen I go to the cup board and grab a bowl of Nissin Hot and spicy noodles I do as the direction say and set the time for 3 minutes as I'm waiting I hear the door bell ring
I would who that could be I'm not expecting anybody. I open the door to see a man holding a big bouquet of pretty different colored pink flowers. I stare at the man Questionably until he says.
"Are you Iona Ross"

"These are for you" he hands me the flowers I take them hesitantly

I smile reading the card. I smell the flowers they smell sweet and fruity a mixture of honey and oranges. I walk over and place the flowers into a vase before texting Skylar.

Skylar: your welcome I saw them and thought of you I hope it wasn't too much.

I smell something burning I look over and see my noddles are burning.
Shit, shit, shit I run over and turn off the noddles before my fucking house burn down that wouldn't be good.
I throw away the burnt noodles I decided I wasn't going to make any food I wasn't hungry anymore. I go check on Noah to see him awake playing with his bear in his crib. I pick him up and throw him in the arm.

"Mama" oh if I didn't mention before yeah he knows how to say mama he's learning more words like no and yes. I'm so proud of him he's growing up so fast way to fast for my liking.

Arriving at my appointment I walk into the doctors office I walk up the assistants desk. I tell her my name and date of birth she hands me some paper work to fill out after filling out paper work i wait in the earring room.

"Iona Ross" as older maybe mid 30's lady calls my name. I get up and follow her she sends me to room it had a desk and a chair right beside it.
"So what are here for today"
"I'm here to see if I'm pregnant or not"
"Okay we already have your birthday and name so when was your last period"

"Okay stand right here I want to take your height" I stand against the wall. she takes my height

Okay I'm going to put this on your finger while taking your blood pressure. She puts the pulse oximeter on my finger while wrapping the blood pressure monitor around my arm. She takes my blood pressure and heart beat. After that she leads me out the room.
"okay follow me this way" i follow like a lost puppy. I've never been to the gyno for and ultra sound my ex boyfriend Noah's dad never let me go anywhere He was abuse and manipulative so I never go to get whole going to ultra sound experience but we're not going to get into that "ever".
She preeminent me into a room that had the ultra sound machine with a long bed.
"Okay so I'm going to need to get naked from the waist down"
She hands me a blue cloth like towel.
"The doctor till be here in a minute"
"Thank you" the lady left I get undress I hope up on the table and cover myself. As I'm waiting all I can this what if I am pregnant and she doesn't want this baby what if I tell her and she reject this baby. How am I supposed to take care of a newborn and a two year old.

The door opened revealing a women in her early twenties.
"Hello I'm Dr.Luther" she says hold out her hand for me to shake.
"Iona Ross" I say shaking her hand
"So what are you here for today" that's like the 3rd person they asked me that today I mentally groan.
"I'm here to see if I'm pregnant or not" she turn on the ultra sound machine.
" I'm going to need you lift up your shirt for me please" I lift up my shirt.
"This might be a little cold" i wince as she drops the cold jelly on my stomach
(😏 I'm srry) she moves the ultrasound transducer over the bottom of my stomach.
"You see that right there" she points at a sack with a little things that looks like a bean.
"Yeah I do"
"That's your baby" I hold back as sob as I see my baby MY baby. I let tears stream down my face.
"So you are definitely pregnant" she says wiping the jelly off my stomach.
"It's too early to know the sex but we can give you sonogram"
"Yes I would like that" I say smiling wiping my tears. After a couple minutes She gives me the sonogram. I look at the picture crying again.
"So come back in about a month and we can go from there"
"Thank you" I say pulling down my Shirt.
"Your welcome have a good day ms Ross"
"You too" i put back on my clothes and head out the doctors office.
