"What happened when I left with Daisy?" Ben asked as he was driving us back to London after we spent the whole evening with Daisy
"We talked, the most dad and me" I said, and he immediately looked at me confused
"Dad?" he asked clearly confused I called him dad after 9 years
"yes" I said
"Okay, I missed so much I see" he said paying attention back to the road
"We talked about everything; I cried in front of them" I laughed for a bit
"Dad said they were watching for me, but I never wanted to talk with them, which is true, he said they came to house after I turned 18 and then they found I left after what they stopped looking for me because they were sure I didn't want to hear a thing from them, which is also true" I said looking through window
"I told them why I changed, how I was feeling and....she asked if I love you" I said
Him I'm ready to call dad again, probably, but her to call mum again, not yet, she is the one who said I thought to kill my sister, it was her idea to send me to that house and I am not ready to forgive her that yet
"And what did you say?" he asked
"That I don't love you" I said, and he looked at me
"I'm kidding Ben, I said that I love you more than anything and that you're the best person I've ever met and that you care more about me than yourself and more than they ever did" I said looking at him as he had his eyes on road
"I love you too Els, you have no idea how much" he said taking my hand in his, pressing my hand to his lips and leaving kiss on it

"Hey boy" I said stroking Oscar's head as he waited for us when we came home "have you eaten?" I asked looking to his food bowl
"Good boy" I said stroking him as I saw he ate everything we left him "Come on, let's give you more water, you're probably thirsty, since you drunk all two bowls of water" I said walking over kitchen as he was walking beside me
"I'm going to take a shower" Ben said and I just said okay putting water in Oscar's bowls
"you're not thirsty?" I asked as he drank just a bit of water "what's wrong man?" I asked crouching in front of him stroking his head
"You won't give me a hint?" I asked "Come on" I said taking him in my arms, he was so big, and I could barely carry him in my arms
I sat on couch with Oscar on my lap stroking him. He made himself comfortable and few minutes later he started licking my hand and soon enough my face.
"Oh my gosh, you just missed me that much?" I asked laughing as he was licking my face
"I missed you too Oscar, but I'm sure Alex took really good care of you, isn't she?" I said stroking him as he stopped licking me, but he was so happy compared to few minutes earlier
"Can I ask you something?" I asked knowing I won't get answer "Do you think I need to give a second chance to my parents?" I asked looking at him
"I know they made me feel really bad and that it's their fault that medias are saying bad things about me, but.... what if they are sorry and if they really want to get me back? I mean, seeing Ben with his family and how good relationship they have just makes me miss mine even more. What if, after those 9 years is really time to give them another chance and maybe have a family back?" I asked him

As I was taking shower, I was only thinking about what Ela told me in the car. If I just was there with them and hear everything, I will find something new and I probably will be supposed to help her somehow to make decision.
I put my shorts and t-shirt on drying my hear with towel. As it was drier than wet, I walked downstairs to Ela.
".... I mean, seeing Ben with his family and how good relationship they have just makes me miss mine even more. What if, after those 9 years is really time to give them another chance and maybe have a family back?" I heard her saying stroking Oscar who was sitting on her lap
I made her feel bad because of my relationship with my family and I didn't even see that. If I knew, I would try not to talk with them in front of her but if I didn't talk with them then she won't realize that she missed her family, in one hand I helped her but in other hand I made her feel bad.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked walking towards couch pretending I didn't hear anything
"Yeah, I'm just having fun with this little man" she said looking down at Oscar
"Do you want to talk about anything that happened today?" I asked sitting beside her
"I told you everything in the car, I guess" she said
"okay" I said
"I'm....going to take a shower" she said putting Oscar on couch beside me and standing up
"Els" I called her as she walked towards stairs
"Yes?" she asked turning to face me
"You know I'm here whatever you want to talk about" I said
"I know" she smiled at me and walked upstairs
